Mschere,ever since Harry took over you are absolutely correct. If there ever was a leak it would probably come out of Asia or Europe.

Duke,Merritt is working very hard to close these licensing deals and I Believe you will see the results soon. I don't know whether you have missed anything public or not but IMO the writing is on the wall.

AMR, I thought you were referring to a pre-announcement on earnings, sorry. I do believe an announcement on a new licensee is in the cards and could be any day.

AMR,IMO don't expect anything and the odds are pretty good you will not be disappointed.

Mschere, check out UTSI. They got a big contract along with MOT from the largest wireless provider in China. About the same time IDCC broke out of its range today.

What a great buying opportunity this am,a real no duh.

Mschere,I am wondering if this news out of NOK and ERICY but NOK in particular might be what it takes to get them off the dime as far as arbitration is concerned. If things are picking up,isn't that a good reason to put this arbitration with IDCC behind them?

JK, IMO small and midcaps had been out of favor for a week or so and yesterday folks started buying them again. Wireless was also a hot group yesterday. Natually that brings in all momentum folks to.

Loop, I was thinking about those 20 yrs coming up just the other day on my way home. Its hard to believe that I met with George Calhoun in Phil. to talk about the future of this small wireless company called IMM almost 20 yrs ago. What an unbelievable ride.

In the long run though, I don't think that article is going to have any effect on IDCC except to give us a chance to pick up some stock on the cheap. IMO it was a very dumb article.

TC, what I was referring to is co's like IBM and INTC. Two large IPR co's like that need more support from our gov't as they compete against the likes of China.

JK,you are right. There is not a lot of competition right now but that could change in a heartbeat.
