Siggy:
y'all know what this fog incident will trigger!
Plus the burning of trees and foilage in the Amazon Basin!
better selection in what, and when they say! pr more sophisticated!
So true!
Like in legislative sessions and contract formatiion
business and politics is abound with "political nonanswers" It both satifies and angers folks-all depending on the perspective you want- hoping it puzzles or infuriates.
4on/of:
Smart reply from the ceo. You can reply too early, then situations change, and you are responsible for misspeak.
Remember what Speaker Rayburn stated- the more you say,the more you have to explain.
Hold your peace, and time what and when you say is good management.
Josh"
The bear will soon go into hibernation- insofar as VSPC is concerned.
Crazy! Commission swalers a chunk of it!
GKG is not mentioned because the topic's subject is ethanol
The "newspaper" might be non-existent, or not registered, no phone or address-just sometjing put out in someone's basement.
One can put-out a communication anywhere.
If you can't"google it", then something is rotten in Denmark.
"Google it"
gottcha! Some improvement to the balance sheet! Less red ink.
growing starters- where's the selling. How much revenue reported?
Lotta growin'-no sellin'!
Where's the grass?
Rod:
You will not be suprised that I am comfortable with having a mule!
Rodman:
All that you write is true. My point (unstated) rests in that there is market resistance to "green" Americans are "hooked on" oil. Hydrogen was unacceptable, and corn products as fuel have be
is problimatic, and "green" has had their "hard times" and are regarded as an illogical fantasy.
Insofar as the United Stqtes-its going to be a tough sale, despite
their usefullness.
Josh:
Same here! Fuel cell dream went up -poof!
SmallCap,et al:
GKG will never compete within the USA-coal,oil,natural gas. The prime market will be in highly decentralized energy markets-South East Aska. Pacific Islands,(Indonesia , (and the like)
You can't grow enough grass,or any other vegetation ,to satisfy any percent of demand in the United States.
So forget it.
It is, though, reasonable, in small, scatterd, farm villages.
The superstructure is not present to transport fossil energies.
The articles about the Dakotas were well written, through, and on the mark.
GKG is nowhere capable to satisfy American needs, so the "Green folks "csn exhume their time and energy elsewhere"
Dr. K is good atgetting folks interested, but not in closing a deal!
I am aware of Dr.K's skills and vision' and also, as many do, sales is not his fortee. The combination of skills is the base
suiccess in any venture. Now we have it!
Both have science skills, but the new person on the scene has ocmmunication skills that the other does not. Finlanders and Irish
make a good pair.
The new doc (Dr.) appears to have business acumen. It appears that the investment will prove that we have not been wrong, and that faith did not turn into a stupid move!
I"m hitched to VSPC until the price equals cost-then I'll trade
judiciously once the stock reaches 40% above cost value.
Get ready for the "greed cycle"!
I assume that negotiations are in progress- but in many such sessions there is no or little progrgres, and thus the possibibility of litigation creeps into the mix. I do believe that the professor is in a weak possition compared to Chang, but Chang is under pressure from his kinfolks, et al.
Chang has physical assets, the professor, who switched from fuel cells saw the opportunity work his way into bioenergy.
Three are thousands of villages in Asia, and energy sources will be in high demand to satsify the growth damands
The professor is an idea man-not a business man. He had secured from Caltech patent rights, but that industry did not grow as he expected to.
His ego must be nearly crushed-and he could easily dig in his heels and ruin this deal for all.
The Changs let him in the tent, but might force him out and take up with another of the executives who have marketing success way beyod the professor's.
But, also. the professors son is a patent lawyer, who has a vested interest in a break-down of negotiations, thus comes the golden egg's demise, and the sale of VSPC and investors positions
Do they really desire to kill the goose that is hatching the golden egg?
SmallCaps:
He's aparasite!
Tommy9fingers
Insofar as the current VSPC negotiations with Chang-Dr. K has been
snookerd.
Bloombergs' article lays out Dr. K's corporate board experience. Dr. K has a 'solid" corporate board resume. Chang runs a store in Atlanta.
Quite a contrast-a Formosa Chinese businessman outsnookering
such a highly experienced corporate wheeler-dealer outsnookered by a furniture salesperson.
Of course the "longs" were hoodnecked to.
We, I, need to be more discernable in knowing the difference between faith and ignorance.
SmallCap:
I stand corrected. This fact strengthens VSPC's negotiating weakness vis'a vie Chang. Dr. K and the others may have more voting shares, but Chang has control and a stronger influence with
the concrete factors- revenue stream, and a closer relationship with the people with the land and the reins of power.- those who regulate, those who own land and possess power in the natiional and local government entities aad neighboring countries.
The non-Asians are over the barrel!
Chang and his family are holding the chips-they have produced the revenue stream, and control the facilities in China. VSPC have patents!
Shindigs are good for the soul. Don't burn the taters
"lackofcash":
Good outlook. We seem to fret too much. To me, theres' a new power center. The power center is in Atlanta. That's where the money is being made, and, consequently, VSPS is still afloat
We note that the companies office is in Atlanta.
Threin lies the shift.
It is likely that the retail person (Chang) might have tired of the professors. They" done their talking, and, now its time for the marketing people to step up and do what they so well do!
Like what we say-it's time to put or shut up
Chang is fed up. He didn't sell his shares. That means he's shed of
board meetings and all that, and not being tied up in jabbering
about what happened in them conventions and jawing about test results, he can exert his position- let's get our act together, o the hammer will fall.
I don't know the laws relative to this situation-but, whzt about a swap-out.One officer is in debt to Chang, and Chang is in debt to VSPC. Farmers swap out all the time. It's Arkansas economics, ya know
SCM:
As to your response to my VSPC posting:
I was not rezponnding to any of the Investor Hub postings, but rather to the other blog, in which there was a snide remark about the unsophisticadet enterprise of growinng grass to feed them hogs insted of biofuels, which is in its infancy, but instead is concentrating there energy on the mature feed indsutry rather than solely than investing in a newly developing industry. There are comlicatiions and a long-waiting period to reap the benefits of one's putting out their money in this infant enterprise.
But- as we know, biofuel development is like the fuel cell industry -in limbo, until the wrinkels are worked out.
In the meantime, there is a growing population that is eating more pork and beef.
Feeding hogs, etc, is not in its infancy! Eventually bioenergy
will have all the experments and legislatiion.and the issues of contracts involving costing, purchases of land, and the elements of builing infrastructure, and getting the general populations getting to accept these high-falluton ideas.
I fully appreciate the SmallCapsMarket contributions, and 9Fingers expertise in the SEC factors!
Its like being enrolled in Phd level of studies of commerce and
investing.
SCM:
It appears that VSPC has us looking and thinking bio-energy while they the are feeding hogs. Some people downmouth feeding hogs, but there are many who love pork and ham; and I reckon there are millions of hogs in China.
They're growing grass and they have to get rid of this grass, so they marketing hog feed while were jabbering about bio-energy, and bioenrgy will not be a viable industry for some time, so, at this moment gotta feed the population.
As to reporting, we'll know the whats and whens come reporting time-the annual report.
We don't have to know the whats and whens-the time frame for reporting. No company's going to reveal all that is going on within a specific time frame until all issues are settled.
Any coach, for example would be a fool to announce tactIcs for the next game.
But they can put out information that causes the observers to look in one directiion while the company is doing something else.
So, like in Arkansas, they say - go hogs go
mmech:
hybrids are not, generally, perennial;gkg is.
VSPC et al:Don't expect dreams to be realized.
A truism: VSPC et al will require years to gain traction in whatever product they desireto market.
