Finally. the DTCC has to stop being the Wall Street Gunslinger and start following the rules. After this SEC ruling, we might have a better chance of seeing daylight. Better yet, some major bullets are removed from their guns so the fear factor of the investor could be substantially reduced, attracting more participants (buyers) to microcaptism.
Anyway, I thought it was a major good thing and the SEC actually surprised me with their action.

Good, positive post. Either it will trade or it won't. All is speculation and even those who "know for a fact" would probably not bet their house on it. As we inch closer to economic revival, this company might get swept up and actually do something. And realistically, what other choice do we have but to wait. I am loaded in several other VERY good companies whose business has not changed much since the crash...making money, growing, things happening, but no PPS increase. Some give no message board updates whatsoever, but do on their websites. My slant is that the average Joe investor has no extra cash to spend on something that is not a sure thing and these companies don't care about current stock holders and will only be active when there are new buyers.
I truly believe that sooner or later the truly solid companies' stock will eventually move and money will be made. Remember, never invest market money you can't afford to lose.
Oh, FreeGrass....
Have you been missing your anger management classes this month?
Blame the person who held the gun to your head and made you buy this stock.
Additionally, isn't this a bit of a harsh post for the board Moderator?
Exactly....
I am convinced this is a solid buy. One must be willing to wait for something to materialize to reap a healthy profit. As I said before, at .0001 and no history of R/S, it is hard to imagine NEVER making money on this stock because they are a solid business.
Thanks Harvard 88!
How smart! He can write it off, use it for his own getaways, lease it to celebrates and get valuable networking. In this business, 20% of the deals are closed at the office and the other 80% closed on the boat....or the bed. So, let's close a big deal on this sucka and not have a DVME funeral at sea!
It is getting closer...whatever that means.
Well, nothing happens in Hollywood during the summer and it is traditionally a slow time for the market,too...even in a healthy climate.
Now, the fall season is here and things are starting to gel. Heck, we now have a moderator AND an assistant. How long has it been since we have seen that?
Remember, these guys are VERY quiet and appear to have little interest in their shareholders....oh, such is Hollywood and it's uppity persona. The good news is that these guys are in the top ten talent agencies in the US and you don't get there over night. The CEO has been in the industry a long, long time, is well respected and knows exactly when to turn the news flash light on.
The bottom line is that the economy must improve for this company to move forward with any real significance. DVME is not a home run hitter, but it can knock out a timely single and win a game.
No big names, no glass and mirrors, just a crew trying to come up with stuff to keep their people working in a tough town and a struggling economic situation. My advise...stay cool, be patient and have faith.
IMO
What to look for in a solid Pinky....
1)Extended period with the same CEO/management team.
2)Solid business plan with continued new projects.
3)No history of R/S.
4)Management respected in their industry.
5)Substantial de-valuation since 2008.
6)Acceptable debt management.
7)Reasonable dilution figures.
Anything can happen to most any stock. Good companies have seen their PPS go down to nothing, but their daily business constantly improves. A solid national economy will help these stocks to run. Until then, we wait for small morsels of increase on the promise of better times.
Does VIPR qualify to be a solid stock? At this moment...not really. However, I believe this stock WILL eventually run and if you bought in at .0001, all you have to do is wait. But sometime, somehow this stock will spike or die, it's just the nature of gold exploration. My advice, as with any stock, buy only what you can afford to lose. Remember, this is a bang or bust endeavor, so a modest investment can make a lot of money or a bust can be easily tolerated.
IMO
Nice post...
For sure this is long term for a gold strike. (no pun intended)
The good news is that you get a million shares for $100....at least now.
I have positions in solid Pinkys and this is my risk taker stock. Gotta have these to keep it fun.
IMO
Amen, my brotha...
Cheese with your whine? Instead, complain about your ex and how badly you were mistreated. Because you lost WAY more time and money on them than on this stock, plus the story would be far more entertaining...then we could really feel sorry for you.
Have a nice day.
Good post, Insureman...
We all want everything now. Be thankful that tsunami didn't hit your home town.
"I was sad when I had no shoes, until I saw a man who had no feet."
Unf***ing believable...
Heading down to .0001, reverse split and start the sh*t again.
I must admit, these guys are among the best marketing crooks I've seen in Pennyland.
And I thought I had it bad....
I felt bad because I had no shoes.. until I saw a man who had no feet.
My buy-in at .02 was nothing compared to your spiral downward.
My condolences.
I'm down a grand but will never sell at current prices. I don't need the 30 bucks that much just yet.
So let's review the pros and cons......
Pros
1)Diverse continues to open its doors each day and has for many years.
2)The probability of going out of business is relatively low.
3)The PPS can get no lower and they have never had a reverse split.
4)Before the financial crash, the stock was substantially higher and could forseeably return with a couple of decent breaks.
Cons
1)Very little stockholder appreciation and rarely anything of substance to share with stockholders.
2)The "Wow" factor is non-existent with no major players/stars
3)Press releases virtual never come.
4)Rarely any active trading...boring month after month.
IMO, this is a meat and potato agency with no big names and a daily "grind out the dollar" mentality. However, in Hollywood, just one phone call can change everything...and that is what some of us think might happen. A million shares for $100...I'll buy a few of those lotto tickets and come back in a year.
After investing 1K into this loser...
I now am 30 bucks away from WORTHLESS!
Never, never, never, never....
Elect a President (Bush/LBJ) or buy a penny stock from a company in Texas. If you do, you're just lookin' to get Okie Doked.
What I like about Biker Bob....
...is that he is always so positive!
!41 million sells and 31 million buys...
Sellers are afraid it is gonna tank even lower and maybe it will a bit, but no triple zero stuff. IMO
Thank you, Mr S...
Your two sentence analogy breaks this down to the lowest common denominator.
1)company makes money
2)company makes more money each quarter
3)company's stock trades again
4)company's pps goes up
5)MOST people are happy
IMO
You guys just don't get it...
We are going to hear NOTHING! I don't care who you call or who you know, these guys are notorious for rarely giving ANYTHING of any substance. The last decent(?)news was the Stan Lee Celebrity In Action deal and that was a LONG time ago. (that's what sucked me in...WOW, Stan Lee is involved!)
But there is good news...DVME is a solidly rooted force in LA and the day to day business is moving forward. Here is the hook line...when the American consumer has the cash to spend for entertainment, projects will start or come to fruition and the stock will move. Think of it this way...just a move to .0002 doubles most peoples money here, right? Patience in Pennyland is an oxymoron.
Blue_xx
Thanks for the tip...duly noted.
Exactly...
...drying up compared to a 600 million. The good news is that the bottom is behind us unless something bizarre hits.
IMO
Hey, Mr Positive...
...ever consider this might just have an extra long fuse?
My only regret...
...I didn't buy more before the freeze.
Refreshing to see....
...some actual statistics and logic on this board. As expected with this maverick-style stock, it may not perform as it should on paper.
But as you know, it's a numbers world and when we embrace industry standard reference criteria, we will be winners not loser a majority of the time...not to say this will be one of those times. However, will all the positive news and steadily increasing income, it sure "appears" to have a solid future.
IMO
Almost totally accurate....
Yes, that's the way they roll, however, you will never see this in triple zeros. There is a method to the madness and triple z's would not play into the plan...to detrimental to moral and too scary for potential investors because it must look like a good deal without looking "cheap". Don't agree?...mark this post and come back to it in a month.
IMO
Good for you......!
But not with this stock...right?
CXAC was named in the original complaint resulting in individual clearing houses opting not to engage in trades(buys) of the stock. This happened one by one with Zecco being one of the last houses that declared a hold on any CXAC buys. Even though the company appeared to be innocent of any wrong doing, this is a moot point to the trading houses. They simply suspended trading until the issue was resolved to the point where they felt safe again engaging in the stock being traded...but then the DTCC stopped clearing any CXAC buys altogether.
But you probably knew all this since you have been around this board for quite some time. I wrote it as an update to any new followers.
...and then he woke up.
But hey, I kinda like that day dream, all except the .01 part. Gotta dream bigger, man...see it as $1.01 and maybe I'm dreaming too small!
This is really an interesting situation...check this out. Go to any stock on the iHub message board network and observe the number of followers.(upper right corner) Heck, Citibank has 285, Apple has 266 and Ford 185 with this triple zero stock having 333! Just makes you wanna go hmmm.
When the winter freeze subsides, the Grass is gonna grow
And as the investors come, the cash is gonna flow.
With all the time you spend, hangin' with this board
Take your precious cash, for all the sweat you've poured
Just to play again, the triple zero game
And why we do this act, can never be explained
IMO
Well, yes and no...
Yes, a great game plan because I don't see this stock as a lost cause.
But no, I don't think you will get your .0008 filled. IMO
Regardless, I believe it will come back and you will make money.
By the way...
...it does show up, but I feel your pain. My loss has been over 90%, but I've got time and maybe within a year it will gravitate up to some profit.
See the SEC link below.
http://www.sec.gov/cgi-bin/browse-edgar?company=china+crescent&match=&CIK=&filenum=&State=&Country=&SIC=&owner=exclude&Find=Find+Companies&action=getcompany
I feel your pain...
At this rate....
...pretty soon we will all owe PV money.
"The question you have to ask is...
...do I feel lucky. Well do ya?"
With $100 left from $1000, I better feel lucky.
Furthermore, with 100 bucks left, I'll ride this one into the ground.
That's comforting...
...to know that you have many more shares than I and still have not bailed. As an investor, I know the terms of diversity and percentages, however, in this scenario I have a large percentage of my investment capital on this horse. Many people have called the move anything from dangerously speculative to downright stupid. But from day one, I have had a feeling this baby would tick up...and nicely. So the name of my game over the last year has been accumulation and waiting. And so the saga continues.
Now to be the realist...that fire thing you spoke of...it just ain't gonna work. These players are hardballers and have been in the business probably since you were a kid and their tough LA/Hollywood demeanor is not going to be moved by some chat board...no offense to anyone here. They will release information when they are ready to and not before. A prior poster once said that "they played their cards close to the chest" and I think he might have known more than he was willing to admit.
Happy Holidays and good fortune to all!
I'd rather be positive than negative...you live longer.
Debt is an agenda many companies must deal with since the meltdown. My money is on that they will make it and if they do, I am a BIG winner. If they don't, well, that's why they call it the stock market.
There's good news and bad news...
The doctor called his patient on the phone and proclaimed, "John, I have good news and bad news, which do you want first?" The patient replied, "I will take the good news first." The doctor said, "You have 24 hours to live." Sobbing, the patient exclaimed," I have 24 hours to live!!?...what could possibly be the bad news?"
The doctor replied, "I meant to call you yesterday."
So, the good news here is that the company has never done a reverse split and they are solidly embedded in the LA scene. All major players in the company have been around a long time and the company is not going out of business. Additionally,(realistically speaking) the stock has reached it's lowest pps. So, if you bought in at .0001 or so, time will bring us money.
The bad news...I have owned the stock and been around this board for about 1.5 years and it's always the same, no PRs...they just don't care about releasing information.
However, with this new dude making an appearance, in my opinion, it signifies two things...They are finally acknowledging that just because they can be fine with no PRs, the shareholders are certainly uneasy about it AND there is going to be something happening in the near future and the liaison is now in place. But just because he is in place, don't expect any difference in demeanor until the ride begins.
Worst case is that the stock never moves, but I think as the economy improves and the market for their products begin to evolve, we will do quite nicely. IMO
Aw, Isn't that special...
This is Hotel California...in reverse
You can check out, but you just can't check in.
We Americans want action...NOW. But this is requiring some patience.
Go celebrate the Holidays and come back after the first of the year.
Thank you for your explanation. I have owned a small amount of this stock for over a year and know that in the past they've little interest in releasing news. One poster said they play their cards close to the chest, I guess meaning very private. Maybe that's changing with Zack as a contact, so I wait patiently for something with momentum. The good news is the tax rate is lower after holding a year!
