Yes-
I was wagering simply in lost momentum during Thursday and thinking
That there couldn't be anymore good news or good forward looking events to
Keep it going-
Though didn't see it like this. Watching CNBC is like watching the Weather channel during
A massive hurricane!
grabbed a bunch of $110 yesteday at the high for next week-
$100 seemed a little too aggresive, but still paying off so far.. :)
think it hits $100 on Monday?
might be lower if Greece really drops the ball...
very true as well. i'm neither bull nor bear, i'm a squirrel collecting scraps from whichever one ate the most last... :)
the volatility as of late has made for great opportunities since i mainly trade options, so i hope they both stay greedy for a long time
very true-
think it might be an ugly day tomorrow. i was surprised the upward momentum of the week leading to today didn't take stocks higher, the volume was so tepid yesterday and most of today-
I'm wondering if the Obama-Rama fueled rally this week is fading-
And I think whatever 'twist' the Fed might be thinking is all ready baked in...
But you're right, might have to wait until later to find that entry, though financials are still looking mighty weak, especially BAC and GS
guess that 2 million dollars was worth it... ;)
thinking there might be a gap pull on the SPY as well with all the 'feel good news' in the air seemingly-
also still confused as hell on AAPL... that might just go on the no-put list until something amazing happens to it-
also, any good books you recommend on the market? got my copies of Nisons work, but getting hungry for more. still got the link you had on your old pink board, but looking for something to get a physical copy of-
so what would be the neckline?
around 168?
i find Europe still too disconcerting to fully get a box of puts against GLD yet-
kinda hoping for a late-day sell off of SPY to get it near 120, then i'd feel comfortable holding puts overnight on that guy
Anyone else seeing the multitude of
small descending triangles on a
bunch of charts due to the past two bounces?
Almost like it's telegraphing the next move after Friday depending on what Big Ben says-
And sad sad sad about BAC-
had to get out of my Armageddon puts yesterday, glad I did-
Only a matter of time till I get back in...
Just love being a bear
HPQ hitting multi-year lows might be fun today-
Gold going insane again-
Looking for that massive volume week a'la silver awhile back before the dump starts...
It's getting close I believe, and maybe the inevitable issuance of 'euro-bonds' might be the trigger
Thanks for the reading material!
I'm waiting on an Armageddon event with BAC-
got cheap cheap 2.50 Jan12 puts on that one
AAPL fought back sadly, think it getting close to the 50 day got some buyers, but if it doesn't clear 370 with some feeling tomorrow it'll be a ride down-
haven't got the hang on daytrading the ETFs yet, but the living you could make of those is enviable
agreed-
honestly, the only thing i believe that can stop the gold/silver run is the issuance of 'euro-bonds', but if you take people at their word, that is awhile away...
watching the chaos has never been so easy when you are hedged as such-
:)
just a thought-
i think a reason that silver hasn't taken as much a part of the run-up gold has is because of it's industrial uses...
if the economy slows, won't the demand for silver?
either way, glad I got both though!
Got to love it if you play options.... :)
more fun then even the pinks!
seems AAPL has finally tanked hard. it hasn't taken as much a part as other stocks but today it really got smashed. still only 10% down from it's high, so fun should still be had
The other question is going to be when to load the RIMM puts after getting a huge bounce today-
Like people think anyone is going to buy them now that Google went in the other direction...
I smell opportunity...
And watching CBOU dump today, sad those who bought in over the past week
Any thoughts on SODA?
waiting for the knife to hit the ground and shake a bit, but what a fall so far-
Should be good for a very quick scalp soon
True-
Just saw the price channel re-entry with speed, and kinda don't want all my cash in those ETFs, (they almost trade like pinks!) so looking for other things-
The bear bounce, whenever it happens, could be just as profitable with those ETFs as well
Indeed...
Never has chaos been so welcome.. :)
Also, thinking that MA has some big downside quick, even after today-
Thinking 290, and then the bottom if it breaks that-
Your thoughts?

beautiful post-
going in the folder
AAPL is notorious for undershooting forward looking earnings-
Just thinking about the new IPad and iPhone sales in next quarter makes AAPL
Look almost undervalued...
I said almost...;)
Odd close on the SPY-
what are your thoughts?
The chart seems messed up since it closed at the high of day...
Almost had that abandoned baby...

Nice day Friday for Put holders-
Thinking if it gaps under 323, 320 should be hit pretty quick-
You have to wonder it the effects of the Japan tsunami as well as the battery plant explosion will hinder production of any new hardware (as well as focus on the new iCloud) and consequently, profits-
Might be a down quarter for the frat time in a long time
You can also thank Soapy for this link-
arguably the best link on ihub-
http://www.box.net/shared/qz0hqld0t5
hope someone grabbed some of those SINA puts this morning-
very tasty by now
RIMM to 35/37 anyone?
Gapping down to a new 52 week low after getting murdered yesterday, a day where everybody was up gave it quite a nasty candle, and now (it seems) follow through this morning-
Any thoughts? Think it gets nasty today, and maybe tomorrow, but there has to be a bounce before earnings on June 16 cause of all the shorts-
http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=RIMM&p=D&b=5&g=0&id=p54757637448
kinda see that. you're eye is much more attuned then mine.
think you're right that rest of this week will tell the story, but the Facebook momo could be a chart changer in the short term-
planning on scalping this Facebook momo it has now with my weekly calls, but thinking there is still a good play left in NFLX yet-
between this and PCLN, it's been a nice week. still think there is some large downside to PCLN yet? something about that chart is telling me a bigger crash is coming
Wondering what people see-
is this a channel break or an ascending channel break on NFLX?
Got lucky this morning in grabbing some calls. expecting a gap in the morning, but trying to have a game plan after that.
talks about NFLX and Facebook working together seems to have been the catalyst today-
http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=NFLX&p=D&b=5&g=0&id=p08197747931
Thoughts on MCP?
thinking it may get a little more selling going into earnings Tuesday. that, and the pressure on commodities might bring it down some-
bought a small put position today. really wished it would've closed under 68, but will see how the first few hours trade tomorrow to see if a decision is made-
http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=MCP&p=D&b=5&g=0&id=p62199004562
looks like tomorrow-
just checked the prices and it's down almost 5 bucks all ready-
guessing ZSL will be almost $20 tomorrow and SLV will be near 42-44
speculation and daytrading seem to be running the world right now
The weekly chart is screaming a top in my eyes, at least for a little while
(I'd link to it, but it's hard enough to get a post out on
an iPhone sometimes)-
Record weekly volume and the price barely changed from Mondays
open and Fridays close-
Got a nice doji at the top of a huge run-
Got a good feeling the puts are going to be gold
next week
looking for thoughts on MELI?
looks a tad overbought, but trading still seems strong, and earnings on the 3rd seems to be driving it higher still somehow-
know i shouldn't but i'm tempted to buy calls-
kinda like asking the stripper out on a date after a lap dance. i sure as hell know better, but i just cannot help myself-
http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=MELI&p=D&b=5&g=0&id=p54930771771
Be careful though-
That share offering might make SLV drop farther, even if silver goes up
finally got that close above .0038-
could be fun in the near future here
agreed-
especially since the major negative right now would have been interest rates rising-
but uncle Ben said no, so it has some legs left to run for sure
appreciate the link!
i hope you're right-
was the fool in buying options a day ahead of earnings-
just cannot see anyway AAPL can give positive guidance for the next quarter, especially if the new iPhone ends up shipping in September and not early summer like they have in the past
might double down on my position anyway for giggles-
hope you've had some fun with TIVO today, has made for some nice swings
agree there-
been watching for a few weeks now and there has been lots of selling every day, which is why i've hesitated in buying more then the starter i got in the low .03s-
but it's been slowly stopping, and over the past couple days the ask has been breaking over .04, and today the first day some buys are coming in over that number
really doesn't seem like dilution, but more like selling which makes me hopeful for a move at some point
might help lessen the bag i'm holding in AAPL puts today... :)
DEGH
Hope people still have their eyes on this little pinkie-
have been watching since shank brought it up, but now there has been a little bit of volume over .04-
have had a little starter for awhile now, and gonna wait and see for more
