OT:GAMCO....Had dinner tonight with a former Beaver football and basketball player he graduated from there and was a Bluefield native and a V.P.I. graduate...played basketball there....also talked on the phone with a girl from Bluefield and who graduated from Concord right after I did{don't think I should refer to her as a girl anymore]...maybe a mature woman!!...hoping we are going to hear some good news from IDCC soon....been married to that baby for a long time....seems as if we have some real diehards here in houston...keep sticking with old IDCC through thick and thin.....think our day is coming....hope all is going good with you...still hope to get up that way before ole father time catches up with me.....best as always.....Rookie

GO BLUE....great to see you are still doing a little posting and also reading the board...hope all is well with you..have tried to keep up with Kevin but all i know is that he is somewhere in college in Kentucky and doing ok last i heard...we just fired our BB coach and hired Tommy Penders who used to coach at Texas...did a good job there but got into some trouble and was let go....i don't spend much time out at the university anymore....play host to the football and basketball officials and thats about it....spend some time on civic duties with the city and my area of town....really surprising how popular you can get with political folks when you work free......try to have lunch with Loop,Bulldzr,Rockitt,Tucker,and some other IDCCERS about every six weeks or so....really a great bunch of folks....ART was coming down about a year ago but Amy became a bit under the weather and they had to cancil.....maybe one of these days...i bet i catch heck from some of the board for this rambling OT post....just say its an old mans mumbling....best....RTD

bulldzr...hope we both get through the first game....heck,i am so glad we even got there...we have a good ball club but are really a 2 person team....maybe a 2 and a half...point guard can be ok at times but its really all the jones gal and the post girl...we will need some one else to step up and have a great tournment if we are to get any where...if the jones girl has a top game we can be tough.....best of luck to your colorado team.....no news from Loop as yet....best....rookie

ST1640....I don't post too much anymore...seems as if I have already said all I know to say....hey,our girls basketball team won the Conf.USA title this year...played Cinn. in the tournament today and won that game...play in the semis tomorrow against Depaul-Marquette winner...we were 13 and 2 in the Conf. race this year...really good team...will see how we do in the NCAAS this year....am thinking that our little ole IDCC might be a real winner this year also...things looking good.....time for you to come on back to Houston for a visit...we can probably get CLS to come on down from Marshall and have a visit with us and fill us in on how the battle between us and Luncent is going...heck,he probably goes fishing with the judge....have a great weekend...best....RTD
