I've had the same experience with etrade. I was able to purchase shares of HESG yesterday and I was able to purchase another penny stock a few months ago that was supposedly restricted
THIS IS ONE COMPANY PURCHASING ANOTHER COMPANY/THE COMPANY'S PRODUCT... THERE IS NO MERGER!
Originally the two companies were supposed to merge. After the Nov 18th PR it was announced that XMDC would instead be purchasing the Bioharp. Now typically when one company purchases another company (and both companies are on the U.S. stock exchange) the company that is purchased their stock goes up and the company that is buying, their stock declines... I'm not sure how it works when a company buys another that is not on the exchange, but I assume it would be similar.
There is no reason to freak out that the stock is going down. IMO there is no real reason for it to go up until XMDC starts selling the BioHarp (WHICH ACCORDING TO TODAYS PR THEY NOW OWN). Anyone buying now is still buying on speculation that XMDC will be able to sell this thing.
We're not out of the woods yet, but we can definitely see the green pastures behind the trees. Acquiring this thing was our biggest hurdle and now the small hurdle is to make sure we rack up some sales with it (which we can do in other countries right away and eventually in the US with FDA approval). That's when this PPS will really take off and IMO that won't be till mid January of 2010 the earliest.
STEALING THE PR QUOTES FROM MLR Lite's post it says exactly what everyone has been saying to those asking about the merger. Nov 18th NO MERGER, NOW IT'S A PURCHASE Dec 9th ASSET PURCHASE COMPLETE
:
Nov 18:
The company issued the following statement: "We're proud to announce XTend has finished their meetings in Korea with BioHarp. While we originally intended to just merge operations, XTend feels it will be in the best interest to purchase the assets wherein the newly merged entity would own the BioHarp medical device in its entirety
Today:
The company released the following statement, "Mr. Lee, Mr. Friedman, and I are pleased to announce the completion of the asset purchase agreement between XTend Medical and BioHarp, Korea. The process took a little longer than anticipated but we're extremely excited to finalize this agreement and work together with Mr. Lee to begin the manufacturing, marketing, and sales of the BioHarp device
just so you know you've posted this twice "0,0001"
,0001 is not a number.
Maybe what you're trying to say is that this stock will go so high the number will seem like an imaginary one. So if it goes there that's fine with me.
STOCKPRICE WILL BE AT 0,0001 until Friday. NO merger.
You all will be realy disapointed with next pr.
----NO merger----
last chance, lol---- wait until friday sure you would have a better chance! I call 0,0001 soon.
Maybe this morning was different. I had a buy in at .0005 when the ask was still .0006 and it got filled in 3 minutes
We start moving up when the people who bought in at .0001 are done selling their %500 profit at .0005
I have etrade. I was able to buy about 30 minutes ago.
"It just aggravates the heck out of me that so many here are going to lose money"
You're making a statement cause it's easy for you to make.
Again for example, less than 1% of all college athletes (baseball, football, hockey) go pro.
So, technically I could go up to 100 college kids and tell them they'll never go pro and be right 99 times.
Will I feel good about myself for doing that? Personally, no. You on the other hand would most likely enjoy that.
That could happen... McDonalds could also go bankrupt next week. Walmart could collapse. Hell, the automotive industry could go under. (Oh wait that kind of happened)
You're just stating speculation... And as a "Nay-sayer" which you obviously are, that's the only thing you can do.
With pinks that's always a possibility. No one is saying that what you suggested can't happen. It has happened to plenty of stocks in the past, but there are a lot of people who have done their homework on this stock, and are betting that this one will succeed.
I would venture to say that a lot of people on this board have very good entry points to this stock. It's the new people to this board that obviously don't and it's funny to see that when this stock does drop it's the new people that seem to post the "Panic Posts" and rightfully so.
You don't see a lot of the older posters on this board posting right now because they either took their profit out and left or they simply have no reason to post anything right now because they don't have anything to worry about.
I'm relatively new to posting on this board, but I've been reading posts for a while and I've been invested in this stock since January. (I didn't invest a lot by any means, but enough to get me a solid amount of shares to sit on)
RE: EMAIL FROM PAUL
Wicks,
Would you mind posting a screen shot of your email? I'm in no way saying that what you're posting is false, but as a form of proof would you mind posting the actual screen shot of your email?
and P.S. Thanks for the PM a few days ago. I just saw it now. I have the free subscription so I can't send you one back.
Wayway. I posted this earlier and since then I feel like others have agreed posting that the December 1st deadline no longer applies since there is no longer a merger:
IMHO I feel that we will not hear anything regarding what is now a "buy out" until the second week in December. So I would venture to say that Dec 7th may be a better date to keep in mind when it comes to any PR coming out regarding the buy out. And that is still early. Maybe more towards the end of the 2nd week of Demember.
Like I said, this is just my opinion, but in the Nov 18th PR, Paul said Mr. Lee will be traveling to Los Angeles at the beginning of December to meet with us to discuss the operational aspects of the new entity
I would have to figure that Paul and Mr Lee will be in LA back at work finishing up what's left to discuss to finalize the buyout at the beginning of December (which is now). This makes more sense to me as I don't see Paul announcing anything until all details are worked out, and it seems like that will happen when Mr. Lee is back in LA, beginning of December. Then you have to figure that it will take a few days to hammer out the details before any PR is released.
Once Xtend officially owns the BioHarp Paul can release anything and everything his heart desires about the product and the company. Until then his hands are tied until it is his property.
I completely agree. I have seen people still posting referencing December 1st as the 60 day marker from Paul's initial PR on October 1st regarding the merger. They still seem to think that Dec 1st is a deadline...

I would have to figure that Paul is taking this week to enjoy the holidays with his family and then the following week (It's already December)and him and Mr Lee will be in LA back at work finishing up what's left to discuss to finalize the buyout. ***This is in no way a bash of the stock. I'm long since .001 and have been buying more when I can. Since, this is a discussion board, I'm just posting my opinion based on my DD as well as everyone else's from the board. I welcome any replies... I'm just trying to let people know what if you are holding to the Dec 1st news for a "Merger/Buyout" PR you will probably not get it.
Does anyone know what the O/S is for this stock?
I'm sorry if the answer has been posted already. I just stumbled on to this stock and I didn't see it posted on the board or in the Ibox...
Thanks.
PLEASE CHECK THE IBOX or STICKY POSTS before posting questions that have been answered numerous times on the board...
That being said, the Bioharp is not available yet for retail, but there will be two types of the product:
"The revenue model for the BioHarp comes from both the hardware and software sales. The single sensor unit will sell for $5,000 US dollars and the five sensor unit will be $30,000. The software will be sold on a license agreement wherein BioHarp UNI US will charge $19.99 per month per patient license, thereby creating a continued revenue stream once the unit hardware is sold. Naturally, if we have groups that are purchasing thousands of units, we will have a discount structure to these monthly fees. With the patient potential in the millions, our revenue model will be very strong and consistent for years to come."
Is there any reason why .03 is being shown as the "bid" next to the chart on top of this page?
Even the ask seems a little high to me at .07
Anyway, I was just wondering if that was a mistake or if something is up considering usually those numbers are pretty up to date.
I'm not really sure what you were trying to say here K9, whether you were agreeing with me or not...
All you did was copy and paste something from the PR, which pretty much states what I was saying. That XMDC looks to identify companies with potential in the healthcare industry and tries to help them capitalize on a global scale.
What I meant was from my research on XMDC, is that it does not have any "product" or something tangible that they currently sell. They are a company merging with another company that has a product to sell.
Since, the production of the BioHarp will most likely not be in the U.S.,there is no need for a "building" or storage facility here (because it's a hell of a lot cheaper to make something in another country) and there is no need for them.
I think everyone who's been posting over the last hour needs to turn off their computers, go get a beer or two or seven, and calm down...
I don't understand why a big deal is being made over XMDC not having an actual office building or storage. XMDC is a small company that is looking to merge with another company that has a "product" XMDC does not have a "product" so why would they need to have a storage facility? Production will most likely be outside of the US and storage facilities when the product is made will be located near the production facilities. Also, XMDC isn't selling anything right now so they technically don't need an office. I don't care where it is (a basement, starbucks, PO BOX, or in this case a pharmacy) all they need right now is a place to collect their mail and a phone number to receive or make needed calls.
Nothing has changed over the last week, except the stock price... All of this info has remained the same and I think that people are starting to freak out because let's face it, playing the waiting game sucks. If you are in this for the long haul you shouldn't be looking at the price of this stock on a daily basis. If you did your DD and believe in the product, pick your selling price "Set it and forget it"
I'm pretty sure someone posted this info a while ago...
I was just wondering, is there a way to see how many different people are holding this stock? I'd be interested to see if that number has increased drastically over the last 2 weeks or if it is the same people buying these shares.
Think we could see a trend here?
Until the merger, do you think we could see big gain mondays? And then dips throughout the week to steady off at a newer low? I just feel that over the weekend people are spreading the word of this stock and with the two days off from trading it creates an influx of buyers... Any thoughts on this? Feel free to call me an idiot if I'm wrong. Sometimes that happens when I try to think.
I agree 100%
If you've sold some shares to make a profit and are now playing with "House Money" you should stop looking at this stock on a daily basis and switch to a weekly one. Unless you want to give yourself a coronary. Good luck to everyone... Put your seatbelts on.
TWO WORDS: Military Contract
As Rain said... This is huge if the BioHarp is integrated into the Medical Field of the U.S. Military. Maybe we can all get some of that money back from Uncle Sam that we paid to help bail him out in the first place.
The BioHarp device is completely portable. Unlike CT Scanners and other large pieces of equipment that remain stationary, the BioHarp can travel to where the patients are. The unit is perfect for rural areas, battlefields, or other outlying areas that would benefit by having the BioHarp as part of their healthcare service.
I stumbled across this board a few months ago... I've only been reading the posts, and never posted (and this will be my only post)... Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for all of the info that you have posted.
I had purchased this stock a year ago when it was at .0002 (nothing crazy just invested a few hundred bucks). I kept selling it every time it went up just to find myself buying it back again because I just had a feeling about it. I hope my gut feeling pays off and I hope all the positive vibes from this board reward everyone.
It's also really interesting to read the posts on this board from a year ago (what a difference a year makes, huh?) Completely different attitude in the older posts.
Thanks again everyone.
