Or he does and he wants to give his friends a chance to buy in cheap. These bastards should be shackled and led before the protesters!
Why do you and Duh Miller spend such an inordinate amount of time posting such subordinate information?
But if they aren't giving any details of the Samsung settlement until who knows when, how can you make that assumption?
That would take a lot of slapping!
Finish are next!
Remember when the Apple license was announced. It was turned into apple sauce. This board is a great place for information. But it suffers from a paralysis from over analysis syndrome. Nobody knew squat about the apple deal, and still doesn't. But it was turned from a positive to negative event at the time. We are on a ship about to come in finally and some are trying to run it aground! Not now it's clear sailing.
There's no delay to the Samsung decision date. As far as Nokia, I don't know if it's a delay or not.
It's the target date for the Nokia decision.
Eleven! Make that eighty nine more and we got a hundred!
But once addicted to this board you are a candidate for the Betty Ford Clinic.
Not in your case DMiller!
If that's why they did it, I hope they keep posting!
How about employment options? If they don't execute they get canned.
Talk about a crock! Nokia gets a favorable ruling from the Batt lady even though it wasn't based on their alleged irreparable harm. And IDCC can't get a stay of that ruling because they can't or didn't prove irreparable harm. What a revolting predicament. Nokia's pants are down alright. And they are having their way with our legal system and IDCC!
Anybody seen Jimmy Hoffa?
Wow! I've basically been a lurker on this board since everyone left Raging Bull. On balance it provides great information. But the arrogance at times makes me wonder if this isn't a bunch of fifth graders in the schoolyard who only let a select few play. Wanda is probably asking a question lots of folks have. Just because a question is difficult or maybe even not possible to answer doesn't mean you should fluff it off. I've read pages of conjecture related to bits of information where everyone was basically guessing the hidden meaning. Is this question too basic or too simple to warrant opinions? You folks are better than this. Sorry for the ranting and raving. I'm going back to lurking--if that's OK!
That's if Nokia owns the patent.
Just hold onto your shares. You'll be glad you did. Both of us will be thanking God!
I'm beginning to think God is scratching his head!
I think we're dealing with number 2 and don't have any TP! Nokia has proven over and over it can't be trusted. Their day will come and it won't be soon enough!
Sammy and Nokia are in a sinking boat. Who gets saved?

IDCC
If they settle keep the report under wraps to hold Nokia's feet to the fire. In other words, if you don't honor the settlement, this gets released!
Something is strange. Nokia is not touting the ruling as a victory.
Death, taxes and the opera ain't over until the fat lady sings!
Arbitration wasn't the issue. Irreparable harm caused by the ITC investigation was. Why would a judge make an irrelevant ruling?
Ok so we get the injunctions. Do we have to license or can we make Nokia and Samsung squirm while their US market share goes belly up? I think it would be fun to watch even if it did drag on eps for a bit! And actually whatever they lose in US sales one of our licensees should pick up.
There isn't a sewage treatment plant big enough!
Is there an end game to the process or can Nokia and Samsung drag this out to infinity? And if there is an end game can anyone hazard a guess how far away we are from it? I've been a shareholder for almost 9 years and I'm beginning to think I'll see daisies before a resolution.
It might turn out that Qualcom is "Baby IDCC!"
Nokia and Samsung won't have to worry about my order. There are too many other producers out there who play by the rules. How can anyone buy one of their products, good or bad, if they operate this way? Know it's only a drop in the Ocean but if only it could start a tsunami........
Thank you Crazymer! He couldn't predict a drought 6 months after the fact!
Think triangle is right. No pun intended. The Apple deal plus whoever else was signed (new or reupped) can only bring good things. What's confounding is IDCC's ambiguity.
Like the butler?
Is the horse dead yet! The only thing certain about Friday's PR's is IDCC=It Doesn't Communicate Clearly! That is a travesty! None of the board members should get a bonus until they pass English 101.
Not that big a deal. From Yahoo's business glossary.
