Picked up my second round of a position today averaging down to a good point. Looks like we have hit a relatively stable bottom and I expect it to go up from here. GLTA!
That's probably correct!!!
People who play the pennies are gamblers. That means you put your money down and hope your number hits. If you were an investor you'd be buying facebook at 20 bucks a share, or some other big board stock that's at it's annual low.
AGRT is no different than any other penny. It's got what many people think is a good story and that's the best you can probably hope for. I bought into this at .24 thinking it might pop a little higher but I was wrong. You win some you lose most here in the pinks.
I wont whine about my possible losses because it was my decision to buy when I did. Instead i'll see if this thing is going to settle out at some reasonable bottom, average down as much as I can, and ride whatever bumps may happen as their story unfolds.
Thats my point....the motive for keeping that information out of the public eye is because it's either miserable or non-existent. If he was selling more tractors than he could import, I can assure you he would be advertising that all over the universe. All my opinion.
And how many tractors, implements, filters have been sold? Anyone??
Any new developments at AFPW? Been away from the board for a bit and just checking back.
Most promos are paid for by third parties holding convertible debt notes. Those notes are typically converted at a rate well below the current PPS. Usually 25-50%. So the third party doesn't need a price spike to make money. They just need volume and demand. Hence....I'm pretty sure that's what happened here.
Pathetic results today.
well at the moment it is going backwards.....must be a bunch of convertible notes due and they needed the promotion to dump them all.
and then what?
2 PR's...allegedly 5 promotors marketing the stock and less than 100K shares traded in the first 5 min? I call fail.
well then I guess I'll be interested to see how it opens tomorrow.
SO AGRT releases 2 PR's in one day. There is over 10X average volume on the day, and we close at a 5% increase after watching this pig tank for weeks? Something tells me this isn't going to pop anytime soon to any level of interest.
how many tractors have they sold again??? how many implements? how many filters? Just curious.
Oh yeah I am well aware of this scam of a company. I was around when that cheesy ass website came out 2 years ago. It was a scam then and still is today. I actually ordered their "gold" packet and it came in the mail in a plain hand addressed envelope with a black and white poorly copied instructions. I could have done a better job myself in less than an hour. Didn't buy back then and wont buy now!
bidsellbuy??? are you kidding me? have you seen the site?
My apologies....it is Greg and not Mark...lol
And I only said what I said as a joke. HFBG has been a scam for a long time. If Greggy Poo can put them on the right track then great for us longs.
In the mean time I'll sit on my shares until I can sell them for a profit or lose them in a RS.
I think Mark Thrasher is doing a tremendous job in his new role. While HFBG's performance has been slightly degraded for the last couple of years I think it's just a matter of timing. Eventually this company will make us all very wealthy!!!! :)
Does anyone know what department of the Air Force was the customer to AFPW for the PBIS system? Has anyone ever seen independent acknowledgement of this contract? Just curious.
Yeah it sounds like a high school facebook confrontation. If Mark Leonard spent as much time and effort worrying about tractor sales as he does about IHUB postings, then maybe this stock would not be sitting in the bottom of the toilet.
Has the worthless D-Bag been posted on here?
It is my opinion that this company is being agressively pumped in an attempt to wash away and hide the lack of success. Time will tell the truth. Just don't put your hard earned money into this stock. It will end up as a tax loss in your federal tax return.
I keep asking how many tractors have been sold but my question keeps getting ignored.....if someone would answer that question for me it would put an end to the relentless rhetoric being batted back and forth here. Just someone please answer my question!!!!!!
At this point I wont be buying back in until I can buy .0001's. If it doesn't get that low before anything substantial is announced then I will have to decide at that time if it's worth chasing or not when the PR hits. I can't justify buying .0002's and losing possibly double my money if this slips to no bid and they do a reverse split on us. If I buy in at .0001 then I may be able to get some of my money back before she slips to no bid.
I admire the optimism, but when you count on the things that "might" happen such as the mentor program and air force orders, and ignore the things "are" happening such as all the dilution for the company to stay alive, then you are setting yourself up for disappointment. I have been in your shoes and have hung in there hoping for the best and I now have a handful of "great possibilities" in my portfolio having a total value of less than a penny and not worth the broker fee to sell.
I'm alot happier in my stable cash position while this stock finds a reliable bottom. Haven't seen it yet.
Yeah what did happen to the mentor program?
Private placement means that he probably bought shares at a 75% discount to the current PPS, and then after holding them for a short time can dump them into the market making 2 to 3 times his money while existing shareholders incur further losses of their positions.
What most people don't realize is that the Air Force will not give contracts to insolvent companies. It's too big of a risk for them to procure things from a company that cannot pay it's bills. This could become a catch 22 that AFPW will lose at. Let's hope this is not the case.
I felt that when I sold my position at .0007 that this might go to .0005 with the thought that I would buy back in and hope that the new low would hold. I never thought I would see it this low. I sure am glad I sold when I did, and now I am just hoping that we see some life going back into this. They are on the brink of no return. If Cade drives this to no-bid, it's clear that he will reverse split everyone out of their holdings and start the fund raising all over again. I'm really disappointed right now in these guys.
Wisdom is learned through life experiences and not taught. Often times the less said the better. I make and carry out my penny play plans according to my own needs and goals. I have entry and exit points for every situation and I don't base my choices on heresay and promises. Results are more important than promises and the coming weeks will decide how I proceed with this stock.
I'll be hopping back in soon.
Thats the perfect plan when dealing with the pennies. I lost 60 grand the first year I traded the penny's listening to cinderella stories of CEO's and their loyal followers. There was a technology company trading at 5 cents that was supposedly on it's way to the dollars. Today that stock is currently at no bid. I will never make that mistake again regardless of how compelling the story is. Financial results end up being the only measurement you can judge success by.
OK if you want to get technical....it's called Dilutive Financing and you can play all the word games you want but when the company borrows money via stock covertible notes they are reducing the existing shareholder value.
It's also called Dilution.
I'd be curious to know when the next convertible note is due. If someone knows, please tell me. Then we can see if coincidentally a major PR get's dropped on that day. If it does then we should all be convinced that long shareholders are just the collateral damage necessary to re-imburse the borrowed cash to fund AFPW's operations.
I know I come off as a complete asshole on here to the TYTN loyalists, but I have asked that same question several times in the past and have received nothing in response. The bottom line is if the tractors were selling, then ML would not need to be selling shares and the PPS would be on the rise to everyone's benefit. 2011 was huge year for the agricultural market and companies like John Deer saw over 50% increases in sales. Last year was the perfect year to make in-roads by this company. The results have shown no progress. Even the TYM tractors out of Korea seem to be gaining a foothold in the U.S. There is something clearly wrong with TYTN's business plans and people can blindly go along for the ride and hope for the best. In fact I wish them all the best. It's just when it comes to my money, I need something other than a hail mary pass as my game winning strategy.
First quarter sales were good? What were the first quarter sales? How many tractors were sold?
How many tractors have been sold in 2012? Anyone?
Im sorry maybe someone has already asked this question and it's been answered....but How Many Tractors have been sold so far this year????? Just curious. Isn't that what it's all about??
I'm in "wait and see" mode now. The selling into the last 2 PR's and the witnessing of new lower lows doesn't give me the confidence that all is well with AFPW.
Here's what we do know:
AFPW needs cash to operate.
AFPW needs to develop a new smaller portable PBIS.
AFPW is in a negative cash flow situation at the moment.
AFPW is not profitable per their own filings.
We all know that AFPW needs to get cash from somewhere to proceed and succeed. They can get it by selling shares, from the principals, or from bank loans. I doubt the bank loans are feasible at this time.
Time will eventually unveil all the unknowns.
