I have been following this company for over a year, and I have been flipping it from time to time. Knowing the move into Wal-Mart was imminent, I bought in a month ago at .002, and I bought again at .003, and on the news Friday I bought more, chasing the stock upward until my last purchase at .0055.
Not buying this stock is just throwing away potential money.
The question is - when to sell? .008 is almost certain at this point. A penny is also highly likely. 2 pennies? there is a good chance, but it is a gamble.
But the real question is this: As I have been following this company, along with other penny companies, this is ONE penny company that has been restructuring, buying out other companies and products, and expanding its market. They have increased sales.
Most penny stocks are on the scammy side....but LFBG has an unusual air of legitimacy - which means this could be the bargain basement price on a very good long term stock.
My strategy: Buy as much Monday morning as possible, and sell all of that for profit after reaching a penny....but keep the several millions of shares that I am currently holding as "free shares" for the future. If it goes down, I only lose free money.
We all hope for the "magic penny stock that will go places." At this level, you should be able to make enough money to hold on to some "free stock" to hold LOOOOONG.
(A year ago, there were lots of people saying LFBG was a scam. They just were not in Wal-Mart yet....and now they are. No scam, that is for sure!)
And hopefully we will all own plenty of dividend shares when it happens.
:)
I have shares in my TDA account also!!!
They show up as N/A. - but they must be these shares. They are the only thing of this type that i am expecting.
Thank you for pointing that out. Under total shares it said 5.5M, and it didn't make much sense to me.
The PRs are annoying.
1. Why announce a PR that can be taken as negative? Why even bother? The implications on the last PR could be either positive or negative - so it was confusing at best.
2. They have the meeting - and then no result.
There is no REASON in this....reason as in "sense." This makes NO SENSE!!!!
A CEO should be doing his fiduciary responsibility to his shareholders to improve the stock price by announcing positive things about the company and doing everything in his power to improve the PPS.
Instead, they have a B.S. PR about something that may lower the stock price.
THEN.....they don't bother telling whether anything happened OR NOT!!!!
It is as if they are trying to tank the PPS on purpose (which only makes sense if they are trying to repurchase stock).
THEN....the CEO buys 5M shares - which is not that much (it is only 0.05% of the company, with a total value at the current PPS of $3,500).
I am not sure if this is smoke and mirrors or what.
I also find it weird that the CEO only owns a total of 5,500,000 shares. I own more than twice what the CEO owns.
It seems that they are trying to get the CEO to some minimum level for something.
Sure wish someone else had some insight on this.
All of the past stories discuss gay bars. Not sure that there would be any meeting of girls or taking girls home.
Just being a stickler for accuracy.
As far as I know, from the last quarterly reports, he is still the majority share holder.
Anything is possible. Could it get to a penny? Sure. It could go higher.
Imagine seeing a better ad at midnight on CNN or FOX NEWS, and being watched by millions of Americans all over the country. It is possible that people might start buying the bulb, telling their friends how great it is (and it IS great)....and all of the sudden their sales figures could spike.
That is a realistic scenario, and it could go up EVEN HIGHER than a penny.
But they need to get on the ball and do that. I have been watching this stock for 8 months now, and they have been having trouble stirring up national attention for a great product. Without that national attention, I think that you need to keep your visions REALISTIC.
The one conversation I had with the company President Jeff Carlson, he indicated to me that he preferred low priced ads on poorly watched channels (like that New England News Channel)....which is going to give him the most "bang for the buck."
In my opinion, that is "small thinking." Spending $100 on an ad and being happy with a 400% return of $400 is not as good as spending $100,000 on TV ads on Fox News and getting back $120,000 in sales...which is only a 20% increase....but it is $20,000 (as opposed to gaining $300). They are clearly trying to push this product without spending any "real money." Well....you are not going to stir up any "real interest" that way, in my opinion - or it is going to be much much harder.
ZVTK is not going to sell itself, and it is not going to do well with just internet marketing. It is NOT the "Justin Beiber" of the stock market world.
Just my opinion on this subject. The potential is there - it is up to the company to fulfill its own destiny.
I have been watching what is going on, and keeping my eye on the pulse. I have been updating the stickies also.
Unfortunately, I see that ZVTK is a small company with a great product, and the stock price is suffering from the hype that is created by its own proponents. When the company doesn't actually live up to the hype that has been created around it, the price then plummets. This has happened twice now.
There is NO QUESTION - this light bulb is an AMAZING product!!! And if it gets on the retail shelves - at a reasonable price - and with appropriate advertising - it has the potential to be the next "bottled water."
(As a personal editorial, I am not fond of the poker playing ad. This item will appeal to HEALTH NUTS - not unhealthy people, who don't care anyway. It might appeal to spouses of smokers, who want to get rid of that smell! But the crowd that sits around playing poker, eating chips and drinking beer, are NOT concerned about what they put in their bodies. They are probably the wrong target audience. Just my opinion.)
---------------
The product attracts new investors, who start talking about how this will sell and make millions - and then this keeps generating new interest in new investors, and the stock price goes UP UP UP! Then....news of real sales comes out. They are disappointing, in comparison to the HYPE - and then the price plummets.
Actually, in my opinion, at the current price, ZVTK is a great buy. if it does what it has done several times now, it will attract new investors, and the price will skyrocket at some point - going up at least 100%. And then....it will plummet. The bag holders will be those that kept buying and thinking it would go up 1000%.
People keep getting mad at the BASHERS. FlaFlyersFan once told me, "The PUMPERS are responsible for more people losing money on a stock than the BASHERS. That is because the PUMPERS keep attracting more people to buy more stock at an overly inflated price. When the stock comes down to a more realistic price, they lose money, and then blame the BASHERS for it - when it was really the PUMPERS that caused them to lose."
It's kind of similar to the way spouses who have been cheated on blame the "other person," and not their own spouse (who is the one who really did everything wrong).
And honestly - I use the IONIC BULB. It is a great product. There is no reason this company couldn't be worth more. But remember - with 3B outstanding shares, it's market cap is ALREADY $7M. Keep your ideas as to where this stock will go in a modest and realistic range.
However, given the recent advertising push, 100% increase from this point is not unrealistic, in my opinion. In my opinion, ZVTK is a GOOD BUY at this point. However, keep the amount it will rise to as REALISTIC. In my opinion, 60-100% is realistic, and I would sell at .004-.005. That is JUST MY OPINION.
(And also keep in mind - people who bought this stock a year ago HAVE made 1000%. Just because some people bought GOOGLE for $100 and have made 500%% on it, don't expect to buy GOOGLE now for $500 and think it is going to go to $2500. You have to be realistic.)
Still keeping tabs on this, and anything that you think needs to be updated, please let me know.
NEWS - Zevotek Announces All-New Ionic Bulb TV Ad to Air Nationwide
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Zevotek-Announces-AllNew-pz-1576467156.html?x=0&.v=1
I am just being optimistically cautious.
I just think this product is one of the greatest things on the market - and I am hoping that they are successful at promoting it.
I do know that the last CEO had a "hands off" approach to directing the marketing efforts, which I had discovered talking to THEIONICBULB.COM President...and I really think they just need some more aggressive marketing.
Everyone who sits in my office, and I share this info with them, they go out and buy these bulbs. Well...I can't market to everyone! They are going to have to spend some money and market these things.
Thanks! Nice to know I made a "classic!"
:)
On the homepage for TDA, it shows "-481%".
-481 percent?!?!? That means I owe them money!
Well, it is totally real!!!! This may be THE BEST investment video on the internet - because it is SOOOOO truthful. In fact, I can't believe that he is saying this. It is like having a MAGICIAN tell the secrets of how tricks are done on TV (which there are)...or a REAL ESTATE AGENT telling people that you can actually negotiate their commission (which you can).
If it became more well known (i.e. on the news), Cramer would have to do some public singing and dancing to get out of this one, because he is clearly telling everyone that this is a GAME that is being manipulated by investment groups....like his!!!!
:)
The hope is buy making a small sell at .001, they can demoralize an investor who will sell 1M shares at .0011 and feel lucky that they got out.
SO...the stock has been trading for .0012-13....and buy buying at .0011, they make a nice nearly 20%.
Gamesmanship....taking newbie day traders for their money. Lost quite a bit myself from this when I started - but if you study the quantities being bought or sold, it becomes obvious.
ATNPD is now ATNP on TDA.
IMO, this is the week of the running of the Bulls!
:D
There are already many existing internet phone services (VONAGE is a very popular one).
They usually charge a monthly rate (Vonage $14.99 per month). You have to already have internet.
http://www.vonage.com/
Well....now, for $29.99 you can get cable, phone service, and internet access.
Also....it wasn't that long ago that they were sending out PRs that this was their NEW WEBSITE!
They really need to make new friends in the web design field.
It is a very amateurish website.
My own company's website is not up to par, in my opinion.
My wife has a company, and she is developing her website herself and it is one of the most amazing things I have ever seen.
Unlike what we are fed by the company that makes SPRITE, IMAGE is EVERYTHING in business - and ATNP really should invest in a better website.
$3000 spent on website design can easily bring in hundreds times the investment in profits.
In my opinion.
I guess slow and fast are relative terms. My system is very fast (as are a lot of people's nowadays).
It is probably pretty fast, and just as fast as most old people who are just getting on to the "intermet" (sic) are using....
but for me, it would be very slow (and I am guessing for you too, and most people on iHub). Personally, I don't have the patience to use hotel internet access at most places, unless I can use my own computer.
My understanding is that this is not correct - that this essentially IS a computer - similar to the computers that are in hotels.
That means that it is a really SLOW computer when used for internet browsing, but it will do the job of reading emails, etc.
Basically, by hooking it up to the same internet hookup that you currently gives you internet (whether it is cable or some other line), the "box" is a pre-programmed "computer" that allows you to have access to all of the internet channels and the internet.
However, I do not know. That is what I understood.
I don't know the answer, but I guess that they list things as BUYS or SELLS based on what the actual trade is that made the deal.
I am not 100% sure, but I was told this is how it works:
In other words, there is an BID at .0011 and an ASK at .0012.
If you put in a buy at .0012, the deal is made and it's a buy. If you put in a buy at .0011, nothing happens, because it is just thrown on to the pile of bids. (you are just one of the people trying to sell their stock at .0011).
Similarly if you put in a sell at .0011, the deal is made and it's a SELL. If you put in a sell at .0012, it is thrown on to the pile of ASKS. (You are just one of the people trying to sell the stock at .0012).
I guess the ? occurs when the time is very close and they are not sure which came first, and it is not clear cut.
Well that is interesting, right? There weren't that many shares being offered at .0011.
That tells me that someone is offering JUST ENOUGH to put downward pressure on this stock to get the price down...which is of course what someone wants to do if they want to BUY LOW.
(No one sells at 25K shares at .0011 when the stock is readily selling at .0012....unless they want to make the price go down.)
There is an active assault on the PPS, and ATNPD is particularly vulnerable right now due to lack of activity following split and the presence of that "D" at the end of the name.
Still, it maintains a relatively stable PPS.
All good signs.
D is gone in 20 BUSINESS days. I think someone counted this to be May 6 in an earlier post.
I have information that FONR has been increasing it's sale force in the past quarter, after having cut their sales force in 2009.
Expecting improved sales figures as 2010 progresses.
Moderator's keep the board clean, they should ideally keep things updated (although not required), and they should make sure that everyone abides by forum rules.
Promoting stocks is not part of that job. On many boards, the moderators actually don't like the stock. That is not unusual.
Actually...I like ZVTK and hope for its success. I am not sure why you would be so angry with me.
But please feel free to be angry. That's your choice.
Thank you very much! Actually, this is a good example of an issue where there is a problem - a request was made - there was an answer - and then I was educated as to the problem with the NEWS board.
No worries. I am more than happy to help. :)
Actually, FlaFlyersFan does a LARGE majority of things on here. However, I have always addressed any requests that people make of me.
If your request is that I go and market ZVTK on boards outside of iHub, the answer is "No."
I am sorry if you think that is part of the job of a moderator. I do not.
Also, as a medical doctor, I usually have people talk about my medical career when I am addressed at speaking opportunities (like the one that happened at lunch today). They didn't address me today as "the Assistant Moderator of the ZVTK board on iHub!"
I love that title. It gives me a sense of entitlement.
I did agree to take this job, and it has been very educational. I am sorry that my performance does not meet with your approval.
No worries. :)
No problem. I did not know, and I am more than happy to help.
I read my news off of TDA.
I do not typically sticky news, because it is readily available under the "NEWS" tab on the frontpage.
However, FLAFLYERSFAN stickies some news posts he thinks are particularly relevant.
HOWEVER....I will sticky this one, because it is very relevant.
I am sorry that you are so upset at this one point. I think you are being a little sensitive.
I don't see any real claims that you should be so upset about, except that you don't like people posting badly about a stock you are invested in.
That happens on every board, and you are not particularly special. People trash stocks that I like all the time.
And keep in mind - when they trash ZVTK, they are trashing a stock that BOTH you and I like.
HOWEVER...when you go around calling someone a "STOCK BASHER" or a "FRAUD" or "TAKING MONEY FOR NEGATIVE POSTS," and you have no proof to back up your claim, you should expect to have your posts deleted.
On a related topic:
FLAFLYERSFAN is really the one responsible for making that iBox. I have updated it with a few more recent posts, but it is an EXCELLENT and UNBIASED iBox which provides great info to a potential investor.
He has not cluttered it with personal opinion, and he has not ever put a biased opinion within it.
I will tell you that it is within a moderator's ability to do such a thing - and the Admins would SUPPORT IT.
This is because iHub Admin considers the iBox to be "just another post." As long as things said conform to the rules of iHub, then a moderator can put whatever he/she wants in it.
I KNOW THIS, because I have a REAL PROBLEM with the iBox on a board that I post on....and I have gotten into a LONG "DISCUSSION" with iHub Administration about this issue. Their response was: "IHUB's policy towards the iBox is the same as any other post. It is a matter of a person's opinion regarding the stock. There is no policy about anything having to be factual. If you have a problem with a fact listed in the iBox, then you should put up a post discounting it."
SO REALLY....you really should be just as impressed as I am that FLAFLYERSFAN does such a great unbiased job with the iBOX, because he DOES.
I have no idea how many potential investors are scared away by the iBox that is on the other board I am talking about....but you can't say that about the ZVTK iBOX, which is very informative, updated, and unbiased.
If FLAFLYERSFAN wanted to scare away potential investors, he could put certain things in the iBox that would be "just enough" to scare away someone who is new to this board....and that doesn't happen.
And he CERTAINLY wouldn't make me an assistant moderator, because I am PRO ZVTK. I called Babkie the day he was promoted to CEO to congratulate him, and I have the emails to prove it! I have the ability to monitor everything he does on this board, and if he were doing the terrible things you are accusing him of, he certainly wouldn't put me in that position.
So you are very wrong about him. In fact, he ENJOYS discussion and opposed debate - which may be why he appointed me, because we were in a pretty heated debate at the time he gave me the offer.
Well, that is your OPINION. It is a far cry from fact.
And I refute your claim about ANYONE being "smart enough to know who they are."
You don't KNOW that. If you did, you should provide the proof.
There are many reasons for stocks to go UP and DOWN, and there are always a few conspiracy theorists out there that would rather believe in some pretty outrageous and rare things, rather than believe the more common ones.
While I do know there are such a thing as paid bashers, it is FAR MORE COMMON for a company to dilute stock to cause their PPS to go down - especially in a penny stock.
When you hear hoofbeats, think HORSES, not ZEBRAS.
------
And by the way...there is such a thing as PAID PUSHERS too. If you have ever heard of a "pump and dump," then you know that it is important to PUMP a stock before dumping it.
I am just saying that you are expressing frustration about certain people behaving in a manner that you don't agree. That does NOT make them a "paid basher."
As long as they are expressing things in a manner that conforms to the policies of iHub, they are allowed to express that. This board could have 100% negative posts.
Positive posters get pissy when there aren't 100% positive posts on their boards. That is not what iHub is all about.
----------
Look - rather than whining:
1. Read the InvestorsHub User and Moderator Handbook. I don't expect you to read the whole thing, but you can certainly look up the rules where you think there has been a violation.
http://ihwiki.advfn.com/index.php?title=Handbook
2. Give me a message stating that you have an issue.
But if your send me a message that someone is off topic when they write "ZVTK IS A BIG UGLY DILUTING PIG," well....then you are wrong, because that is ABSOLUTELY ON TOPIC, and it is no worse than saying the absolute opposite, which would be something to the equivalent of "ZVTK IS A GORGEOUS MONEY MAKING BABE!"
Both of these statements are totally legitimate - only one you agree with, and one you don't.
Deleting things that you don't agree with is CENSORSHIP, and that is not what deleting posts is all about....but from the sounds of things, that is what you are looking for, comrade.
Trust me - if Admins thought that FlaFlyersFan or I were behaving in a manner that was outside of unbiased moderating (i.e. deleting posts that we didn't agree with), then they would SEE IT, and they would STOP IT...because we can all see the deleted posts, and a reason has to be given every time a post is deleted.
As I said, this board is under close watch by iHub Admin...and they do probably just as much deleting of posts as the mods do.
1. I have never deleted a post asking for my assistance. EVER.
Anyone who has ever given me a request to mysticjinx - either by responding to one of my posts (for free members) or by giving me a PM has ALWAYS either gotten what they wanted or a response as to why it hasn't happened.
2. There are rules on iHub. Posts need to follow those rules. I don't delete very many posts - but I look at the ones that do - and they are typically:
(1) off topic
(2) inflammatory against a person
(3) use vulgar language
This is for the majority of cases.
I recommend that you read the iHub User and Moderator Handbook, as this may provide you with guidance. I never read them until I became an assistant moderator. My eyes were really opened - and I looked at posts in an entirely different light.
http://ihwiki.advfn.com/index.php?title=Handbook
And by the way - I also look at the person who DOES the deleting - and it is often iHub Administration - not FlaFlyersFan. This board is obviously watched (probably because it is consistently in the top 10), and Admins have clearly taken an interest in it.
I don't recall any posts that are as you claim.
People have a right to say that ZVTK sucks - just as people have a right to say ZVTK IS GOING TO SHOOT THE MOON.
You don't have to spew FACTS on iHUB. You are allowed to spew opinions - and they can be NEGATIVE opinions - as long as they follow the rules.
Given the many boards I have been on, I can assure you that FlaFlyersFan is probably the most unbiased person in performing his duties.
AND REMEMBER: HE AND I HAVE A DIFFERENT OPINION ON THIS STOCK. I know he says things you don't like. He says things I don't like!!!! But he stays within the rules, and there is nothing wrong with that.
If I really wanted to make money and abuse my power, I would delete the negative posts.
But that would be WRONG.
Thanks for this update.
Being a moderator is not about promoting the stock. It is about running the board in a successful manner.
While I am not particularly happy with the way that this board is run (for example the information provided is not updated, it is not presented in an unbiased fashion, and it isn't even FACTUAL. There are no footnotes, no links, and no documentation that supports many of the negative claims on the page), a moderator is somewhat within their right to post these things.
I argued with iHub Admins about this, and they ruled that a moderator is just like any other poster, and the iBox is like any other post - it is an expression of OPINIONS. As long as it follows the rules of the post, then they are allowed to write what they want. If you have a problem with something that is said, then you should post that in your own post.
I got into a pretty hefty "discussion" about this with the Admin, and really, I am happy I didn't get expelled. They made a ruling, and it is up to me to salute the flag and support it.
Which now I do.
-----------------
I appreciate your positive support, and I am hopeful that the other stock sees a breakout, because I am a shareholder - I do follow that stock - and despite what that person says, I always respond to PMs with special requests. I don't read "every post," but I read every post that is addressed to me - responding to either one of my private or public postings.
It is VERY easy to get in touch with me.
As I am a CEO, a physician, and a very fast typist, it would be nice if people would take a moment to show some gratitude, as the mod and me on that site try to do a good job and be FACTUAL.
-------------------
Here is my reply to that post. I deleted some names to keep them off of this board:
--------------------
I actually am assistant moderator, and I am a shareholder, and I follow this stock.
I am still a little in the red on XXXX, but that has been improving as I have been flipping the stock in the past several weeks.
I am often opposed to the moderator (XXXXXXXXXXX) on issues, and whenever someone gives me a PM on any particular question or need I answer it.
As far as promoting the stock on other boards - people get paid to do that, and neither XXXXXXXXX or I are your free labor.
Promoting a stock so it goes up so YOU can make money is not what being a moderator is all about.
Maybe you would like for me to clean your toilets too?
I smell a "sense of entitlement."

The mods are in control of the board.
Yeah, I agree with this. This is normal behavior. We ALL want to see a nice spike...and it could happen any minute. However, patience will be required --- as with any stock.
All the requirements for a big run are here. The catalyst could occur any day...and it could occur in the form of STOCK NEWSLETTERS, PRs, or even a rumor. Regardless, when it happens, everyone here will be happy. No worries.
Because the CEO has two cars and goes to gay bars, eating cars and now he only eats guitars.
If it were something that was (1) a big deal or (2) real (meaning some semblance of proof, not just accusation), it wouldn't be so BORING.
