Wrong, it's a volatility halt.
How long do you think it would take with writing an opinion when they completely agree with original decision? A paragraph or two at the most? There was no way to take yesterday's OA as anything but negative no matter how many people tried to spin it the other way.
What are you talking about? Vascepa isn't leaving the US. I'm on it and will continue to be on it.
BB can't wait to see how this appeals loss is spun. It has to be a positive, right?
Appeal ruling out already. I told you yesterday this would be a quick decision but didn't think this quick lol.
Cratering in pre-mkt.
All of the Form 4's were selling to cover their tax liability. No big deal. I just find it amusing how their timing is impeccable.
Btw...Since this is my last post for the day, I would like to make a comment about a possible remand. People here thought I was nuts when I said at best they could expect a remand, at worst a loss.
Comical but expected. When Amarin officially loses their appeal, some will still spin it to find the positive in the loss. Next we'll be hearing what a legitimate chance they'll have that the Supreme Court will hear their case. smh
For all the backseat attorney's who want to blame Singer, here is another Twitter post from Dan Ravicher. People always look for a scapegoat.

Don't get it twisted, Amarin's $AMRN counsel is an amazing attorney. Sometimes the facts just make it impossible to win. I've been there done that many times.
Oral argument is over. Both attorneys did great jobs with the cards they were dealt.
OH MY!! While your comment is not surprising, it did leave me speechless. Amarin shareholders need to be concerned about stooge plants on message boards. I was able to see through the facade from the beginning. No one in their right mind could walk away from that conference feeling like Amarin was still going to win the appeal. People on msg boards really need to be careful who they trust and listen to.
I see a very quick decision here. No way it makes it into 2021.
My call with SMSI will be spot on just like my call with Amarin's appeal. The choice is either losing your money or making money. Don't continue to make the wrong choice :). Today's court conference basically put the final nail in Amarin's appeal coffin.
My brother-in-law: 1
Amarin's counsel: 0
Amarin may as well write off the US for the most part.
Today's court proceedings were a complete disaster for Amarin. 100% complete disaster! There is no way any Uber long can take away anything positive from today. I won't be surprised if some try lol.
I was hoping for more but my quick trade was completed when the conference started netting about 5% on my trade :)
Not starting out well for Amarin re: prima fascia.
Edit: It's really not going well for Amarin based on judges comments and reactions to Singers explanations. I maintain Amarin will lose this appeal.
If you only knew about the avalanche of Tier 1 contracts that are coming. When it happens, I'm sure you will tell me that you're in the stock. smh
I'm in. They are currently talking about Vizio case.
I did not give an opinion on the judges.
Picked up some shares at 5.88 for a quick trade :)
My $6.00 price target hit. (and exceeded) :)
Not based on the reaction in pre-mkt.
Anyone that uses the terminology that a "stock will be rocketing to the moon" is immature and clueless when it comes to the markets.
Yeah, you keep hanging on to that fallacy lol.
Umm...did you miss the analyst coverage? All price jumps should be sold into because this stock will not hold a gain unless Amarin wins the appeal which you will not find out any time soon.
You can stay curious :). I've stated many times where I stand with this one and nothing has changed. First time on this board in weeks. I haven't missed much. Too busy making money with non-dead money stocks. Market hitting new highs and this one still dead money like I said it would be and continue to be.
I start my sentences with I for a reason :). I choose my words carefully.
What a surprise. I've always said this thread suffers from confirmation bias. Don't know what it means? Look it up. Hikma CEO sounds like a fair reasonable person. Hopefully this sheds some light on what the situation was. Many said there would be a settlement. I always maintained that JT would not settle under any circumstance. I still maintain that Amarin will lose the appeal. You can forget about the USA. Hikma is a much, much larger and smarter co than Amarin. Supply obviously is not a problem and I fully believe that they will hit the ground running regardless of what the Uber Bulls believe. The Uber Bulls haven't been correct with very much up to this point. Hikma already has their infrastructure in place with very experienced troops on the ground. I believe they can/will ramp much faster than than most here think.
I suppose all that Amarin really has left is the ROW which they plan on tackling themselves lol. Most here thought that GIA was not the way to go but when the co announced that was their plan, most here flipped and changed their tune. Comical! This post is not directed at you rosemountbomber.
Sending letters and email to judges?
Some SH's are a danger to your investment.
Flashed crashed? You're being a bit dramatic. I wouldn't consider 6.84 a crash.
Oh my! Amarin is not the one living in a dreamworld. This is not the way it works in the business world, only in the fantasy world. Truly speechless at what I just read.
Where has all these tea leaves gotten the stock over the last two yrs? $7? 99% of the tea leaves readings have been wrong. Yeah, the new hire founded a consulting co. This likely means that he was just unemployed lol.
What did your last poll show? The complete opposite results lol. People flip flop when they don't get what they hoped for. People lose money because they don't stick with their convictions. You just can't make this stuff up lol. Almost no one here wanted a GIA in EU. Now they are happy with Amarin's decision???
I don't really see that happening until they rework a new contract. They have T-Mobile through an acquisition they made. Right now it's implied until they rework a new contract.
Exactly! This should take them years off their 11 to accomplish. Not going to be a cakewalk by any means and will take a lot of money. No matter what some people say, mgt will have to do a cash raise again.
It will be all about the conference call and what they can and can't say. I expect lower earnings based on the ramp up in hiring. Ramp up is for a reason so I'm not worried regardless of what happens tomorrow.
From JT's mouth: While a settlement is not out of the question, it seems very unlikely at this point.
Every time people get the news they did NOT want to hear, they somehow turn it into a positive so they can continue to justify their investment in a co that seems to make all the wrong decisions. People have very short memories. Not going to be a BO but by all means, hold on to that notion if it makes you feel better about holding this disaster.
Banks will also add the huge cost and failure rate of one drug co's going it alone. A wash at best.
Does this mean you are selling now? Flip flop, flip flop.......
The GIA strategy can guarantee you another equity raise down the road.
Wrong again. (eye roll) There will also be no settlement before the appeal ruling. Nothing but wrong for years.
