Forztnt2, this seems absolutely huge to me, when you consider that one present challenge of mass commercialization is the need for tight and uniform temperature to achieve the poling temperature and subsequent cooling, which requires a time investment between the manufacturing & packaging processes.
The potential implications of this on the end-to-end processing, from a production assembly line speed and packaging efficiency perspective may be enormous. If so, this should have a MAJOR positive impact on the acceptance of the technology within foundry processes in my layman's view.
I have never done a plant tour of a foundry, but I have done many plant tours in my career, most recently in San Angelos, Texas touring an absorbable suitor assembly line a couple of months ago at a J&J company called Ethicon.
I participate in a stock purchase program that gives me a discounted shareprice, and I typically sell my shares every year, as by partipating it is like adding $6k to my salary. Nobody, dogs me when I sell my shares because thankfully I am not on the BOD.
I receive RSUs that vest, and in my case when they vest they are automatically sold and hit my paycheck, but I lose the unvested RSUs if I leave for another company - it is an incentive that is meant to retain me as an employee.
Stock options are similar, but when they expire you either excercise & hold, or excercise and sell. In almost all cases, the choice of selling is, as it should be, based upon your needs at the time. You may have kids in college, a wedding to pay for, a vacation or vacation home to purchase to enjoy your life. We all work to live life. Even a BOD member.
You can blow this up to be an afront to you, but they receive these annually as part of their compensation and to treat it as an afront to yourself, or to shareholders in general is kinda like you trying to stick your nose into their personal financial matters when it is not your business at all.
That is how I personally view it. Don't sweat the small stuff, dude
When she buys we will all be wealthy already
I am also with TDA, but they have not converted me over just yet.
It's ok, I went off on a tangent. No worries. I enjoy all the relevant posts you bring to the board.
You see this alot when say you will see only 100 shares on the bid, and someone hits the bid with a 200 or 300 share sale. if may fill the first 100 in full, and in say TDA it will show as partially complete sale, then additional sells trickle in piecemeal to complete the order in full.
Forztnt2, do you have private messaging? if so, please check your inbox
I wish there was an easy way to track this. I have done a poor job of my record-keeping over the years on when and how much I converted. I am doing much better now, but there are a few conversion events that occurred long ago I am not sure about the details. My own poor record-keeping may be a costly mistake.
However, I am trying to make my Roth account the very last account to ever dip into, to maximize tax free growth. For that reason, potentially it may never become a problem.
I have been doing Roth conversions each year for whatever will put me close to the top, but still keep me in the same tax bracket.
One more commercial deal would take care of it. Possibly even a bit more color around the one we already have inked. C'mon Dr. Lebby. Knock one out of the park please.

Here is what Bard AI has to say about the US Patent, which also has patent registrations in Europe & China already:
Sure. US patent number 9837794 is titled "Optoelectronic devices, methods of fabrication thereof and materials therefor." It was filed on December 7, 2000, and issued on December 5, 2017. The inventors are Xiao-Chang Charles Li, Kirk S. Schanze, and Kuo-Chu Hwang.
The patent describes a method of fabricating optoelectronic devices, such as light-emitting diodes (LEDs) and lasers, from deuterated semiconducting organic compounds. Deuterium is an isotope of hydrogen that has an extra neutron in its nucleus. This makes deuterium atoms heavier than hydrogen atoms, which affects the way that light interacts with them.
The patent claims that using deuterated semiconducting organic compounds in optoelectronic devices can improve their performance in a number of ways. For example, deuterated devices can emit light with a narrower wavelength, which can make them more efficient and easier to use in certain applications. They can also have a longer lifetime, which can make them more cost-effective in the long run.
The patent has been cited by a number of other patents, which suggests that it has been influential in the field of optoelectronics. It has also been used in the development of commercial products, such as LEDs and lasers.
Here are some of the specific details of the patent:
The method of fabrication involves using a process called spin coating to deposit a thin film of deuterated semiconducting organic compound on a substrate.
The film is then patterned using a process called photolithography.
The patterned film is then subjected to a thermal treatment to activate the dopants and create the desired electronic properties.
The device is then completed by adding electrodes.
The patent also describes a number of different types of optoelectronic devices that can be fabricated using this method. These include LEDs, lasers, and photodetectors.
The patent is an important contribution to the field of optoelectronics. It has the potential to improve the performance and lifetime of optoelectronic devices, which could lead to new and innovative applications in a wide range of industries.
Could you just imagine if that turns out being an easter egg, and it is revealed that we are a participant of the GF Fotonix platform with Global Foundries tomorrow?
Believe me, I am not expecting this at all. But if it was we would see our 10 Million in daily volume without a doubt.
Also mentioned in the second paragraph of the news release announcing the Chromosol Ltd acquisition:
https://ih.advfn.com/stock-market/NASDAQ/lightwave-logic-LWLG/stock-news/89660130/lightwave-logic-acquires-polymer-technology-and-in
Yes, Forztnt2 mentions amplification as a characteristic of one of our newly acquired patents in point 7:

I believe one of our recent material patents offers the ability for amplification if I am not mistaken.
I still hold out hope that this is a tasty loaf of bread baking in the oven as we speak.
I added 10k shares today. I cannot predict the timing, but still a believer. I was looking at some of our employees on Linked-in this morning. We have a world-class team going, and we have nice capital investment coming online in both lab space, and equipment that will help us not only in our target markets, but to expand into new markets. We are on the bleeding edge building an IP powerhouse working directly with foundries. As that industry leadership gets translated into licensing and commercial success, this is a fire sale. My hope for this week, and month is that we confirm an upward trend shift.
I still feel that we are just at the start of this move. Appropriate to the long term chart, just think about us shifting back into a long-term uptrend. Does anyone want to let go of their shares at this level.
Trade all ya want, that is a great thing for those that know TA, but the goal should be to increase your overall number of shares. The biggest mistake I have ever made in the stock market was selling too soon when holding a company that is disrupting an industry. I made that mistake on QCOM, PANL/OLED, Netflix and many others. I am looking for one that I can sit back and watch an investment grow during my retirement years, and I believe I have found it.
MVIS also just recently made that trend change and look what is happening.
i like the idea. i only live a couple of miles back on a gravel road. For a nice Sunday drive.
If LWLG does what Mavis did today, someone please send an ambulance to my home. If the ER says I will live then please send a limousine.
Those two horses have been running together, and often do. But MVIS broke out strong yesterday afternoon and afterburners kicked in today. I appreciate the explanation. Had I known I would have loaded up at the open. Tommorrow could be a great day for LWLG.
I should have stayed at 50/50 weighting on the investments, but I think it is all about timing. It has been a nice day and a nice several weeks, so no complaints and both are in the green. Patience is all that is required now.
I have about 70k shares of MVIS and it has enjoyed an amazing run lately. Our time will come with LWLG. I personally feel the investment timeframe for leaving the launchpad is about the same between the two. On the right announcement we will see the same kind of moves with LWLG.
MVIS is my 2nd largest holding next to LWLG, and wishing today it was my biggest holding
Nice that he adds corporate update, as there could be some new information or a new release or an sec filing in support of this between now and then.
Anthony Yu leads up this photonics division, check out this post and this audio.

Global Foundries, they are building a new factory in Malta, NY., and planning to have GF Fotonics chips coming out in 2024, where we just may be a part of it.
If GF is announced we should see $50 or $60 easy - purely a swag, but willing to throw it out there.
When you consider that when we ran to $20 we did not have;
. Any commercial agreements
. The diamondoid patent (still in process)
. Numerous other patents toward mass commercialization via process, materials, and design improvements
. The Thiophene based patent
. The Chromosal acquisition with ALD intellectual property
. Any 8x10 color glossy photo's of foundry outputs using our designs
. Foundry outputs of our newly owned ALD technology.
. World record results with two different companies (Silorix & Polariton) using our materials, for which we now have a supply & licensing agreement with someone, possibly not even them.
. Anywhere near 7 to 9k hours of measurement data showing off our thermal stability, and now we have people devoted solely to measurement and generation of material data sheets
. We had not rooted out friendly vs foe vs difficult to work with, but now we are working with people that are proven and serious about implementing our Polymers - the friendlies (this marks a more advanced sales pipeline).
. Measurable evidence we can eliminate the 'gold box'
. Clear and convincing evidence of not only the speed improvements, power reduction, thermal stability, but amazing size reduction opening up design freedoms for all users.
. Job requisitions that show we are pressing into additional addressable markets.
Another run to a new all time high is not out of the realm of possibility, in my view.
That does count for a lot, and it also counts for MORE than say an announced NRE (non-recurring) revenue item on the sale of materials because it came with a licensing agreement in increasing amounts per year, so we have a recurring and a growing revenue stream.
It is my largest holding as well. You are correct in your points, and the next months will confirm if it is really happening, as management has gone on record to say multiple times.
Yes, I will admit that I was one of those and I did not lose faith in the eventual outcome that is still unfolding.
Yes, I will admit that I was one of those and I did not lose faith in the eventual outcome that is still unfolding.
Just imagine the US investors that are on margin, or the leveraged valuation of derivatives being on the wrong side of this. There comes a time when you need to fish or cut bait, but that point is different for each individual. I thought I was taking a risk buying the news, but had I been short I would have at least considered covering at that point.
A fully clarified foundry deal announcement, if the deal announced does not already represent that, would be epic in the coming weeks or months.
It has always been odd to me that Ayer Labs and the GF FOTONICS alliance is supposed to come out with product in 2024. I still have a gut feeling that we are an integral, but unannounced part of it, based on a 12 minute audio interview some time ago.
Shorts should cover today. I do not think true price discovery has taken place on this stock since the latest announcement and ASM. They are still working through the volume imbalance from the day of announcement and the ride up is only beginning.
Since when does a company announce news at an ASM? How many times in a lifetime will would that ever happen? I would be lucky to count the number of times on one hand.
Not to mention the slides showing the funnel, and what those metrics imply. While not giving a date certain, deals will be happening, and they are now working to expand their total addressable markets as they also work at the bleeding edge with new IP and ALD processes.
Give us the context, Walter...my baby don't care. She's got her ticket to ride:
I am not so sure it is not in store for us without further news. I have seen stocks that have sudden news and a surge in volume get throttled like this several days after. The explanation could be as simple as the market maker has to settle out his books. The MM must provide the liquidity for that day to keep the market moving, but often immediately after you will see this in a stock that is normally lightly traded. We may see the launch next week. The pop at the end of the day says we are ready for the next leg up.
Yes, the SEC is an honor among theives organization. Dark pool trading should not even exist.
