That's just what they want you to think LOL
I personally hope an Intel buyout never happens. I would love to see our EO Polymer become ubiquitous with our current leadership at the helm all the wY up the S-curve / hockey stick.
I believe you hit yhe nail on the head with this post. Intel lost the end run around approach on Global Foundries. This is the remaining play thst could keep them on the fame. The price tag would make most shareholders very wealthy.
I believe thst Dr. Lebby could pull of his foundry presentation without a reveal. However, if there is a reveal ahead of time his presentation will send shockwaves through the industry.
If not. I would still like to see some new photos and advances to kerp he excitement alive. I also hope for news to start flowing.
I believe LWLG might gave an opportunity to update plant equipment, and either directly or indirectly testing equipment along with a partner company, this in addition to trickle down benefits from goundries.
I also nibbled a little. Looking forward to hitting new all-time highs very soon
Got to respect Elliot Wave Theory being a pretty tried and true mathematical representation of human psychology. Now with machine trading and algo's to boot, I do respect those numbers and it would be a good place to add in my opinion.
I have some powder because I took a little profit in the 12s to pay off my mortgage, but I am sticking to that goal of getting debt free finally now that I am over 59 1/2 and can take out IRS money without penalty. I am only two thirds of the way there, and I hope to get to the finish line when news come out soon.
Yep. I wonder who is buying calls this round knowing that after the holiday moneys from the chips bill will start flowing. I am not sure on this point, but thinking that would be the case.
I bet there is heavy off-exchange trading today that will post after the bell
While it seems painful today it is a good day to just go for a walk since it is options expiration day. At least that overhang will be lifted come Monday, although I cannot predict the direction from there, but I am also holding at this point.
I have had much better luck on technology plays and I tend to avoid biotech anymore having mostly lost on them.
Yes, and the valuation will then be 10 Billion. Early bird gets the worm.
Have you ever invested in a pre-revenue tech stock before? You do your due diligence on the technology superiority, the size of the addressable markets, the company leadership and industry standing, the 7 foundries they are working with under NDA, etc. If you are not willing to do this and invest on thise metrics you should not be investing in pre-revenue tech stocks because quite obviously the metric is not revenue.
Just chiming in that some may be feeling the pain of margin calls tomorrow. Today's action should get the borrow rate climbing again.
I believe it will be complete for specific modulators first and expanded over time as priority shifts to expand to new target components. devices and markets.
Could be one in the same PDK
In my opinion, in this interview he is outright saying that all partners have not been named. I believe he is possibly eluding to LWLG. He mentions as a reason protecting the company's IP and rollout plans.
In my mind another factor here may be that a commercial agreement is not inked. If I were CEO I would not want my name public until the ink is dry on a commercial agreement.
I think Anthony from Global Foundries sums it up nicely in a recent podcast about keeping your rollout plans under wraps. It becomes clear that not all participants agreed to be named. Sometimes that may simply mean that you are welcome to name us only when the ink is dry on a commercial contract.

At 7:10 he talks about specifically the introduction of unique materials, carefully selected and put into manufacturing in our line which allows you to kinda reach the levels of performance that photonics demands. What's unique about global foundries in addition to the, you know - as expected active and passive optical components - you know, things like modulators, and waveguides, and germanium detectors, we also have a platform that we call GF Fotonics, that's spelled with an F, or our photonics brand where we have a stand-alone, unique platform where we have now combined RF CMOS we practice in our CMOS factory with out optical components on the same chip. So we offer a PDK - a process design kit that has both RF CMOS and optics on the same PDK which allows you to do the electical-optical simulation and be able to create a chip that is basically doing the function of three or four different chips that would normally be done in the past discretely, we allow you to do it now on a chip, which brings you to significant economic and performance advantages.
Can you tell us which customers you are working with? 8:32
Ya, I can tell you which customers have agreed to be mentioned in our press release, and agreed to be included in these types of conversations...Ya know, as a foundry we guard each customer's IP and product plans very carefully because that's the whole point of being a foundry, being a manufacture service. But I can site the customers that have agreed to be featured to be on our platform and that were included in our press release......
He goes on to site those listed in the prior releases on the GF Fotonics platform recent releases.
This does not sound to me like the entire list of participating partners have yet agreed to be disclosed.
This does not sound to me like the entire story is yet being told.
An earnings announcement with NRE revenue for materials used with foundries is as plausible as anything for tomorrow. If they have refined the family recipe with one foundry on their own dime, at some point you need to make a transition to have another foundry pay for the mare advanced materials that are going into their new processes.
Pretty sure I read at their leisure they can issue to themselves another class of voting shares as needed to thwart takeover
Amazing to refresh my Fintel screen from yesterday and see the institutional interest percentage jump from 15.24 to 21.45 percent. Simply amazing. Follow the money
I believe we are about to see many others following the money very soon.
Since it has been disclosed they are working with testing equipment manufacturers my swag is that they are trying out new test equipment onsite.
Just goes to show that buying more on the dips is a good strategy
And the institutions continue to load up, including Texas Teachers retirement, JPMorgan Chase, Brown Brothers Harriman & more

Let's just say that you are a politician and know that LWLG is going to benefit, and let's even say that you do not trade stocks for yourself. I wonder if any politicians would like to see their own state's retirement system stay solvent feeling it is a fiduciary duty to drop a hint...all speculation on my part...but it is a follow the money type of things when watching institutional adds.
The New York and Florida Retirement system adds following the Chips Act news has me holding onto all my tickets, among other things from prior DD.
It would be great to see some non-recurring revenue representing materials we are providing to foundries.
The new possibility that completely contradicts your theory is if we become a direct or indirect beneficiary of the chips act money. You will see the money flow. It is possible it has actually already begun.
Many will call this nothing, but intellectual tried and failed to buy Global Foundries. Chuckie Shumer attended their expansion ceremony...and has his hands in the bill that calls out transition to photonics and pics. Now this.
You know what they say. Follow the money!
This is one of those moments, so the things that will pay off are accumulation and just a bit of patience.
Tuesday is LWLG Newsday most often
I also agree with your opinion on this point. I cannot say at all whether LWLG will be acquired or go it alone, and I hope the latter. However, I firmly believe that LWLG is a very strategic acquisition target. Becoming the beneficiary directly from the Chips bill will enhance their ability to go it alone, while indirectly will still do the same, but also raise the chances of having bids/offers along the way increases as they benefit by deals with foundries that are provided chip bill funding.
The following post from Pickle Power gives me hope that LWLG may benefit both directly and indirectly from the Chips bill.

I do not feel that news is far off now, and between now and then the best investment strategy in my view will be to hold onto your shares, and accumulate shares if you are able to do so.
My guess on timing is that the week congress returns following labor day big news starts flowing.
I saw a news release that they have the green light for building in New York. Red tape is gone and chips bill is passed, so GFS will certainly be one of the clearest beneficiaries.
In my view they are dragging semi's down to load up now that the chips bill has passed. They are not going to let them run till the big boys load up.
How anyone can be shorting this stock and having Schwab participating by dropping the borrow rate when photonics is mentioned as part of the path forward in the chips bill, along with the Moore's law mention as it relates to semi chips. It is like an ostrich burying their head in the sand.
When the bill passes I believe we also go to new highs. I also believe it may coincide with a reveal that will make all the long shareholders very happy.
I bought shares today. I could care less at this moment about the chart as we are about to become a wall street darling soon. We haven't seen anything yet and soon enough news will hit and be all over with.
Canary in the coal mine. Institutions that invest based upon deep research are going to be finding their way to Lightwave Logic based upon this bills passage and text. It may be aided by news releases as well. The mention of Moore's law, and photonics is amazing and spells a disruptive recognition of Lightwave Logics transformational technology.
I even wonder if some of the FINDINGS came directly from discussions or presentations by Dr. Lebby.
Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!! WoooHooo! Time to cover and go long folks!
You post should be pinned up. It may be the shot heard around the world...
Wow! 280 B. I hope that Dr. Lebby was doing more in D.C. than visiting family. Time for him to update his lab and testing equipment on the US Government's tab.
I bet he is the only one there saying I need new test equipment because my EO Polymer goes so fast that I have nothing to sufficiently measure the speed with. As a majority of the funds undoubtedly go towards beating a horse to death with tech that is tapped out.
Even so, somehow I feel as it relates to Global Foundries and Mr. Chuckee Shumer that there is hopefully a reveal in the works related to LWLG involvement once this bill is actually inked by the big guy.
Latest chart shows the declining volume and price compression feels very much like a cup and handle compressing to a conclusion before breaking up?
