Following your logic the insiders that sold massive amounts must also be stupid.
I take profit and have no problems with that. just recently i bought back at the mid 29 and sold later for a $1 profit. makes sense to me. Of course some people get their kicks from watching the price go up and down and are happy to go along for the ride.
ams
sometimes the truth can be painfull, i fully understand.
ams
Looks like a 3 million trade plus today, i wonder will their be posts about the shares being in stronger hands. ??
Mine are for sale immediately at a 10% profit.
ams
This sure is a great trading stock to make money on. Could be up a $ by the close today. Not really a long term hold but good for trading.
ams
not for a dividend, as the insiders have massive cheap options and have very little in the way of actual shares. Dividends reward long term holders, which logically excludes the directors and management of the company.
Harry was very luck with his last sale that netted him a couple of millions. Not bad for a part time COB whose knowledge is all about cleaning dirty shirts.
over to you jim boy
ams
whats up, naz up, idcc down, what gives, perhaps more sellers than buyers. I expected a much higher day and the bleeding to have stopped, could we be in for a slide back to $24. As each day goes by with no further licenses the loss of ericy etc earning will decline. mind you bonuses, awards and remuneration will continue to reach record levels.
ams
I find it very strange that you quote from a man that that reported his daughter to the british attorney general because of her romance to the Irish rebel Robert Emmet. Those lines that you reproduce actually come from a speech written for the lord mayor of dublin in 1790, i guess you have no knowledge of irish history, or perhaps your quotation is giving a subtle message about yourself to tout la monde with an education.
ams
what person could possibly respond to your question when samsung has indicated that a long road lies ahead, i would give it a go if you could provide me with the date, that tax rate applicable at that time, perhaps a call to the revenue services may be necessary, as i am sure they will provide you with advance notice of their fiscal policies, add into the mixture advanced management policy, for example the need for the 60 million line of credit, not used etc.
ams
generally words ending in e relate to the feminine noun in french, so i guess its a male female thing, i thought they were all male, but you seem to know better.
ams
I Watch showing some heavy selling at present.
ams
he has a lot to say and all of it logical and to the point, of course you may find messages from lastchoice, hook, arty and lottoworld more to your liking after all they provide zero information to this board and create pizzing matches, this board would be vastly improved if they could limit their posting to once every 2 years.
ams
do you mean TOS or just another of your spelling mistakes. finger licking good. lol
ams
you are more than welcome to my opinion. I have discovered how to make profits on shorting shares, and all i can say is thank you harry. lol
ams
so according to your form of logic, the share price is being manipulated when it is falling and acting rationally when it is rising.
i need some air and quick. lol
ams
that kind of post is not needed on this board, perhaps you would be better off on the AB board.
ams
It was nice to see the samsung matter finally put to bed and nice to see that the amount awarded was better than expected.
however the reason why the share price did not respond and will continue to decline is as follows.
failure by management to conclude a 3g deal.
continued litigation.
the expectation the the management will give away monies awarded to obtain a short term cash advantage.
The biggest problem is that so far the vast majority of old debts has gone exclusively to employees and to the management and directors of the company and not used to increase the value to shareholders. All of the monies expended on buybacks have gone to management and employees. In 1998 the outstanding shares was 48 million, even after all of the buybacks the outstanding shares is much higher.
The only way for shareholders to increase the value of their shares is to sell the company before the COB and his fellow directors extract several more hundred millions from the company.
Sell now is my recommendation.
ams
so your final answer is as expected more FUD. Not really surprising from an investor that watched his investment run from $5 to $80 and then one year later back again to $5. On top of that you have failed to take any profit or at the very least improve the number of shares you own by trading when the insiders trade. Your advices on investing and management are very very suspect.
ams
danny if its not to much trouble, just how much profit would have made if you had followed the advice of the insiders and sold just after they made millions in 1999.
ams
just a copy of the official site. This is why i have problems with people stating that Inst ownership is x%, when in fact they should state that in reality the inst ownership has in fact collapsed in early July 06. Then again perhaps those posters are pumping their own agenda.
ams
wrong again.
ams
Any idea of what the inst ownership may be now. I suspect it is a lot lower after the massive plunge in share price recently.
ams
you thought correctly, felicitations.
This share is really good for making trading profits, and i expect to make lots of profits from it in the future. It is good to watch this board as a number of posters despite their agendas provide very useful insights that aid me in making trading profits.
A long is as long as it takes to meet profit expectation and objectives and goals. For some it may take 5 seconds for others such as loop many many years and for others, they simply are unable to take anything off the table.
ams
i found the post offensive in the extreme. has one not the right to speak or do you feel that freedom of speech is not a basic freedom, perhaps not in the USA, it is of course in France the home of democracy.
ams
Did I miss Tom Car on the CC or was he not there. ?
ams
what is UB going on about.
If company a says hello to company b. Who wrote such rubbish.
ams
why thank you, how nice of you to congratulate me, what a very nice person you are.
Made a very nice profit.
ams
The third quarter has started last month, so why has he predicted such a large number. Looks like a long hard slog ahead, is it any wonder they made massive insider sales.
ams
More vulgarity from you. I understand Jimlur become's agitated when i suggest someone is stupid.
So in order to help you in basic understanding, i posted under message 163512 that i had sold all of my shares. Clearly that is a strong sell statement. What i do not understand is how you could possibly not understand that post.
ams
Not really i have sold this morning at the bell. I expect a miss or if not nothing really new. Therefore I feel it wiser to take the profit off the table. I had hoped that the share price would have added a few more cents, however it was not to be.
ams
I fully understand the difference between a corporate Goal and PROMISES. The problem arises when posters fail to understand the difference and then attack other posters using inaccurate and misleading information.
You state that an investor can judge the performance of the CEO at the end of the year based on meeting objectives. You are incorrect, in that the corporate goals of this company are extremely loose. For example if the company obtained 3 hop on 3g licenses, would you see that as a corporate success.
ams
He expressed a hope, expectation based upon discussions with potential clients at that time.
If by the end of the year no new licenses have materialised, he will not have lied.
ams
They made NO PROMISES. That is the problem with this board, false and misleading information.
ams
Using the company beta, not exactly anything to write home about.
ams
i have a purchase in for a lesser figure than that. Perhaps the support level may drop to buyers orders, perhaps not. time will tell.
ams
I understand what free cash flow is, however some of the accounting treatments afforded to some of the company transactions in the past have been strange, for example the method adopted in treating revenues earned in the past but accounted for in the present and future. Such accounting methods allow performance based bonus to be paid at a much higher rate than necessary.
ams
Bonus Plan linked to cash flow performance.
I wonder does the company eliminate the cash generated by the exercise of options before they hand out the over the top bonuses under the multiple reward plans available to insiders.
ams
I have the feeling that a miss may be on the cards according to my calculations, which could lead to another sharp haircut.
ams
ot how is early retirement going. i am sure you took some profits in the last run or did you fiddle on the way up and on the way down. Please let all investors have some insight into your investment method of making profits.
Jimlur asked people like you that contribute nothing except to start pissing matches to go to another board, why do you still hang around here when it is quite clear that your true home is the AB board with your mate TC and if one reads your posts over there it will be quite clear to everyone what type of a person you really are.
ams
its simple, the management will sell out the company after they have sold virtually all options and have substantially diluted the share capital.
any fool can see the huge number of shares given to management, have you any idea of the amount involved and the actual cost to the company and to shareholders that have bought at market prices.
ams
A simple question.
You paint a magical picture,
HOW COME MANAGEMENT, EMPLOYEES AND THE BOD DO NOT SHARE YOUR VISION.
ams
