Whoa! Hardcore man! Ah well....as for me, the area I stated was roughly encompasses 3000 sq. miles, and around 2 million people or so, I guess you could find my IP, but really, I don't ever post anything that isn't a fact, or at least post a disclaimer that it's my opinion only, or heresay that i've gotten from another source.
And I guess I tend to take a lot of things with a grain of salt, i've lived a pretty danged amazing life, full of rough-and-tumble and a few short stints in a couple county jails, ain't much out there really to be scared of, certainly not internet tough-guys, lol!
LOL! Well they probably are for me too, and for their sake, they should hope they don't find me, we don't play games out hyar in the Texas countryside, I learned to shoot before I learned my ABC's
Well thank you, I appreciate it, as I stated before, I don't pump, so i'm not gonna be one of those guys posting the same message on BB's or the DT forum, but I do play some of the hardcore momo plays, and being as I know you guys a lot of you are long-termer Wamuer's who have been tied up in that stock for months, and have literally 100's of hours invested in poring over court docs etc. as I do, I thought a hot daytrade and some quick profits might just be a breath of fresh air that would do some good for some of you, god knows we all deserve it...and just hurt my feelings a little, lol, i'm kind of a volatile sort.
Non-issue anyway, I only have a week to go of my free membership. Until then, i'll keep my eyes peeled for any more hot parlays, and post as I find them.
Make a list maybe, or if you really want to be cool, an interactive map, click on a state or even narrow it down to cities and have it pull up the names of volunteer drive-by'ers for that area. Then stash it in the I-box.
That's okay really, not in a hurry here, I pretty much knew winter would "chill" out the junior miners if you'll pardon the pun, lol! I am accumulating quietly and slowly on the cheap on a number of them, 6 months from now, we'll get the volume, if not sooner. More savvy mining investors now than i've ever seen before, I think the runs this summer will put last year to shame.
Nice news Doubloon, thanks for posting, always nice to long on first thing in the morning and see the little "news" icon next to a ticker you own! This report confirms some things for me, and the copper content seems very significant. Time to settle back and wait for spring, already getting green here $$.
Watching SFMI like a hawk (or maybe more properly, a falcon, lol) and have been for a few days for a good entry. Also watching GWMGF for the same thing. Currently holding VIPR, SRSR, WOLV, and URST.
At just over .04 my friend! Still holding about 3/4 of the position for a hopeful second day. Looks like we may get a gapper this morning.
For a board named "Got Parlay", there sure doesn't seem to be much enthusiasm for actually PLAYING the parlay when it hits. I basically got chided for my excessive posting about VSTNQ, that's why I didn't bother with STXXQ yesterday...
I think maybe some of the brethren here prefer the slow interminable grind of Wamu and Lehman too much....
Parlay runs come in all shapes and sizes.... after even going to the trouble of having shirts printed up, and posturing as THE parlay players, I am literally somewhat aghast that I was SCOLDED mind you, for bringing a 10-bagger plus parlay (in two days)to this board and posting too much about it. There was no time to do in-depth DD after all, and no point really when it was doubling every hour, sometimes you need to get off the hmmmm-hawing around and TRADE.

rant over.

YES! WOLV, some good news, got copper?
WOLV- news out:
Wolverine Announces Results of 2009 Exploration Program
Press Release Source: Wolverine Exploration Inc.
On Wednesday March 3, 2010, 8:30 am
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - 03/03/10) - Wolverine Exploration Inc. ("Wolverine") (OTC.BB:WOLV - News) carried out geological reconnaissance along with prospecting and sampling on three of its six Labrador licenses. Some, but not all of the known mineralized zones were sampled as this was more of a reconnaissance exercise until a more systematic program is put in place. In addition, to the usual base metal sampling, scintillometer surveys were done on the exposed rock cuts along the highway and selected areas of the southern portions of the three licenses.
Activation Laboratories (ActLab) based in Ancaster, ON, carried out mineral analysis of the Wolverine samples which included uranium content. Assay results indicate that there are significant copper values in three of the samples as outlined in the table below. Elevated values in gold, zinc and rare earth elements along with minor silver, cobalt and chromium are also found associated with those samples. It appears that all of these elements are associated with the copper-bearing malachite that intrudes both the regional gneisses and the younger pegmatite dikes. Malachite is sometimes associated with near surface copper deposits and it appears here, that the copper bearing solutions that permeated up through fractures or weak areas of the gneisses contained percentages of the other potentially economic minerals.

The radiometric data shows numerous uranium anomalies and some potassium responses that correspond with the EM trends (suggesting geological contacts), There is a significant east-west trending radioactive anomaly that is in excess of two kilometres in length in the southern portion of the licenses. This has yet to be explored. Scientillometer reading exceeds 1200 cps in some of the rock cuts along the highway which is moderately high. It should be noted that Aurora Energy's giant Michelin deposit in Labrador's Central Mineral Belt has an average grade of only 0.09% U3O8.

Still waiting on that R/S Pennyworld. How long is it going to take? It's already a new millenium since the last one right?
Brilliant idea for a board! Count me in, I am generally in the vicinity of Austin to San Antonio Texas area, and can possibly do drive-bys with some notice in either two cities or anywhere in between.

SHAR hasn't filed anything in almost 4 years, who would you even contact about buying the shell? And it's my understanding that a shell needs to be clean before anyone will buy it, which means up-to-date filings even if there's no real activity to report.
A clean shell is usually worth what? Around 750k? And now the market cap is a couple million as of right now? These Cooper guys got that kind of money from selling deer blinds?
Anyone heard from George Sharp in the last 4 years?
This line from the quarterly report may be scaring a few off (typical pinksheeter language, the translation is :"we'll be diluting massively to raise cash"):
And there's the implied break, right on time, and unfortunately, to the downside, lol.
Actually looks to be forming an intraday wedge/triangle/pole-pennant (whatever your preferred term is), which leads me to believe that we'll have a sharp break soon. Given the momo here, I would hope and expect to a certain extent, that it would be to the upside.

*edit* forgot to attribute this, found by Profiteer11 from that board.
LMAO!
Hey it gets cold here too, it was down to like 40 last night.
C'mon SRSR, let's see some action!
Roger that, watching them like a hawk for an entry point. Lynas is probably the largest deposit of REE's outside of China from what i've read, but with the recent massive dilution (and the market largely ignoring it for some reason), I think they are a little over-priced at .46 with over a 1.6 billion OS, SRSR has half the OS, more niobium, and is a tenth of the price. GWMGF is hanging right above the 200 day SMA at about .222 for three days now, if it holds and begins a new uptrend it might be time to buy IMO, if it fails it will likely drop hard, and there will be a very cheap buying op at some point thereafter.
all JMHO.
1,655,249,000 as of Sept 30, 2009, OS as listed by pinksheets.
Over 761 million market cap. Seems a little steep to me at the moment.
List of gold-mining companies, credit to Muaythai of I-hub for finding and posting it.

PDGE.OB- knocked out, filed for emergency receivership, all principal officers have resigned. Starting DD now, some indication that liquidation may be worth a few cents, but don't know for sure yet. I won't mention price since that's info anyone could easily check.
USU- up nicely today, the news from the 16th about new nuclear plants in Georgia seems to have really kick-started a new uptrend.

wow. Since no one responded to my very first post about that stock, I was simply trying to illustrate how strong a move it was really making, in hopes of benefitting all.
i'll shut up now.
Dude, you completely misunderstood me, I wasn't trying to imply that at all, quite the contrary, I know who you are, I have read your posts, and I wasn't calling you in particular a basher, I am sorry if that's the impression you got. You should check my posts as well.
Holy cow what a ride!
Many more like that, and ol Dragynn's gonna buy a second home up close to Fish, and spend my summers fly-fishin' for brookies in my own creek

Lehman's having a nice morning so far, good little 30% bounce or so.

Great post Gileon, I would add, that it's the first thing I usually hear about every BK case, that equity will be canceled, I've been hearing them say it for months on Wamu, right up until the formation of the EC, lol, and the bashers are STILL trying to say nothing for the commons, HAH!
GOT PARLAY BABAY?

VSTNQ- .52 when yer hot yer hot! Make way for the momo boys, we got us a parlay!
Futures Jackal, you seem to be very on top of this one, I would really appreciate any insights you feel like sharing about the recent 450 million equity offering, and it's effect on the share structure.
Thanks!
Just checking in Wamu'ers, still here, just haven't had much to comment about. Wanted to wish all of y'all a great week, and am saying my usual Monday morning prayer for justice (Mondays I say prayers, by Tuesdays I am usually a little more bloodthirsty and demanding, lol).
GLTA!

Hey Orca, check out the double-bottom on VIPR if you like those kinds of chart plays.
Nice board Muaythai!
As usual, I keep finding your name on stock boards where i'm just starting my own DD, lol, you are definitely ahead of the game Tex, Spark too. Been looking for a "pure" REE type of hold, and Lynas looks like they just did a huge dilution last fall but the price hasn't reflected it.
Chart is a bit fugly at the moment, though it seems to be trying to hold the line at the 200 day simple moving average, always a gut check the 200, do we buy what is hopefully support here, or wait for a reversal?
Thoughts?
According to the 2009 Q4 report, they diluted by an astounding amount, please correct me if i'm wrong about this, but they raised 450 million dollars, in an equity offering underwritten by JP Morgan. Just guesstimating here, but going by the share price at the time (which is also roughly where it is currently), somewhere around .45, that would be a BILLION SHARE DILUTION.

Any ideas here who the transfer agent is?
Not necessarily, I believe that on a non-stock specific board, that you can make additional rules for posting, and delete anything that's obviously just inflammatory bashing. And it might just amount to throwing the baby out with the bathwater, possibly some valuable contributions out there from folks who are simply unwilling to add another expense to their monthly totals...time is tough, lol, cut out a lot of unnecessary expense myself the last couple of years...cable TV was the first to go, and ya know, there was a time I would have considered that absolutely necessary for my well-being, lol, and now I don't think i'll ever have it hooked up again.
Anyhoo, i'm digressing here on a gorgeous Sunday morning in central Texas, about to go out and work on my garden. I will say this, not that i'm any great life-changer when it comes to picking stocks, but if it had not been for Matt giving me a free month for the Wamu links that made it to Fox news, I wouldn't have been able to post about VSTNQ on Friday, and a couple of folks would have missed out on an incredible trading op. And since i'm not a pumper type, I wouldn't have, and didn't, post that heads-up anywhere else. I posted on Got Parlay because:
1. It's a stock board SPECIFICALLY for bankruptcy plays, and therefore was on topic.
2. I have read most all of the messages posted by people here, and exchanged PM's with some on this site and others, and know them to be good solid ACCOUNTABLE traders who make their own decisions about what and how to trade (this is a rare thing indeed online).
I'm just saying, I know there are other traders out there, with their fingers on the pulse of the market, scanning the bankruptcies and parlays, who might contribute some really valuable insight here, and might not be able to do so due to an unwillingness to take on an extra expense, or reservations about who they give their credit card info to.
Have a great day guys, and best of luck this next week, looks like an interesting one coming up for Wamu and possibly Lehman as well, do keep your eyes on VSTNQ, that story may just be beginning!
