same here...averaged in at 13.31. patience.
Futures are up for the market.
A little pervasive optimism is always a good thing.
GLTA
been in meetings all day, missed the 2.32 dip this morning.
but got in at 2.33 30 minutes ago, and took the safe sell at 2.36.
looks like it may run on up to 2.40 by close.
If you bought in yesterday and held for the 2.44-2.45 run up this morning, it was a good day.
If you bought in this morning at 2.34-2.36 and then sold @ noon for 2.40-2.41, it was a good day.
If you bought an hour ago at 2.33, there is still the chance for a good day.
I'm a trader too.
I am not married to FNMA or any other stock...I don't even date. I try to clear $100 a day on flips. If it runs up after I sell, that is just someone else's money.
It takes a little volatility to flip, and I am always studying to find new prospects that fit my personal risk tolerance.
But Fannie has been good to me over the years.
I get free hotdogs at Atwoods on Saturdays.
Look at the bright side...volume is UP!
Looks more like a sub-2.40 close today.
I dumped my shares at 2.48 yesterday and took a small loss.
Not sure when I will get back in...better opportunities elsewhere at this time.
GLTA
No need to be rude.
I didn't think it was a dumb question at all - give darrell credit for thinking.
But I wouldn't do that.
This low volume 2 days running is a concern. Hard to flip when there is no demand at that next penny. (I did flip a solar stock for a modest gain.) Wouldn't take much for this to gap down a dime.
What's the skinny on Level 2?
(I am too cheap to get it myself.)
Low volume day, but prices edging back up. Very encouraging after an iffy morning.
BEST OF ALL...I figured out how to IGNORE along4zride! BUWAHAHAHAHAHA
Trump said in a news snippet last week that "I made my money the old-fashioned way - in real estate."
From that, I would guess there are people in his camp that are watching the Fannie and Freddie show very closely.
Along,
There are some stocks that I have no confidence in and would never buy. If someone asked me why, I would give them my best answer based on facts and let it go.
Since I have no intention of ever buying those stocks, I do not waste valuable time on websites and especially message boards of those stocks.
You are obviously seeking social attention in the only semi-real arena available to you - the internet.
I sincerely feel sorry for you and hope that someday you get the professional help you need.
The answer to "why the spike?" is probably the same as the one to "why the heck did it fall so far?'
The negative investor sentiment that spilled over from the major indexes fueled the big drop, and that has reversed with the stock recovery today.
Probably won't hit 2.60 today, but has made great strides forward.
up 2.9% at 2.48.
but creeping up with optimism.
46's up next.
I hope you didn't bet the farm on that 3 dollar call.
Heck, I will sell you all my shares right now for 2.80!
Let's all calm down and think in reasonable terms...a 2% increase on any stock is a really good day.
pretty light volume so far...that makes for a bigger spread...and some bargain-priced shares.
thanks for posting this gem. Bill consistently offers the most common sense viewpoint of the fannie & freddie conflict.
hard not to have good vibes about the coming week.
Futures are up slightly with positive sentiment, look for a good start from FNMA. GLTA.
helping wife wife with yard sale...kind of like dumping oil stocks!
peeps are guarding their shares late in the day.
Setting up for a good close...so yes, slap that ask!
Not a long term ceiling though. That run up from low 2.50's to 2.72 was too much to sustain. Investor sentiment is comfortable with 2.53-2.61 range at this time.
Going to take another catalyst to maintain it over 2.70.
That late run up yesterday was a pump frenzy. I was surprised that it opened even higher. No flip opportunity today. Have to wait to see where the buyer sentiment goes before I buy again.
the fnma recipe for success:
buy dip, sell, nap, repeat daily
closing price? Red, green, or UNCH?
1.50? he meant by the half-share!
something's ALWAYS happening!
SUNE is creeping back up.
SWHC loks close to a buying opportunity.
FNMA is teetering close to my buy-back bid.
and have a great weekend planned!
GLTA
did someone hit the snooze button?
last half hour has been slowwwwwwwwwwww.
strong opening! looking for a 2.40 dip so I cam play today.
have a position in SUNE...looking for a return to 32.00 there.
GLTA
another great day with Fannie.
bought the dip at 2.38, flipped it at 2.42.
I missed the 2.53 run up, was already counting my money when that took off. But at least I didn't get the rug pulled out from under me.
I think the sp cools off to the mid 2.30's for tomorrow and next week, but should be enough swing to make a daily profit.
Be careful holding...any negative news could send it back to 2.13.

US homebuilder sentiment hits highest level since 2005

Trump resembles a FNMA shareholder.
He speaks the truth, moreover he says what the average joe is thinking but can't say around the PC crowd.
He stands up for the American dream, the Constitution, and common sense.
There shouldn't even be a debate over "illegal immigration". The Constitution contains a specific procedure for immigrants who wish to become US citizens: "naturalization".
Follow the law.
got the tweet about this investment opportunity last night. lots of potential here.
Oh what a difference 2 weeks makes...
with a little patience and some buying and flipping, am within 40 cents of being green on those GM shares I bought just before the market dip in January.
I still believe GM will break out soon. It is already closing above $37 and has topped $38 several times recently.
rayinbrooklyn65...in response to your PM...I am a cheap investor and do not have private message capability. need more info. thanks.
Thinking it more likely the TOP has passed. Just like PPJE, investors have lost interest in this stock. Time to move on to the next round of musical chairs.
GLTA
400,000+ 38s just fell.
TY to whoever cleared out the 37's.
time for some mo mo
penny tomorrow...many buyers just now hearing about BTZO.
prop open both doors, they are coming.
thanks for the 003's!
I will hold until after the first dividend payment. How much worse can it get? :)
This will be a strong buy at 31.50...
I am sure Jim Cramer will give that back to you after he touted GM as a "no brainer" buy at 41.50.
