Reverse Splits are bad no matter what the condition of the companies financials.
If the company makes money, why wouldn't they just buy back the shares and decrease the AS and OS. This would have the greatest impact on share value.
If you are long PHOT the last thing you would ever want to mention is a RS.
Reality TV show about building a legal marijuana business including the new grow facility?
Dude you just don't know. Outdoor, even great outdoor is lucky to get $1500.
$1200 is the most common price. In SoCal it's a different story.
You obviously don't know the first thing about growing medical grade pot.
In Green houses they would only be able to grow during Spring and Summer and harvest in the Fall.
With lights you can harvest every 3 to 4 months.
Also, because green houses are hard to seal from the outside, pesticides would be needed to control mites worms and other destructive pest.
Further the temp has to be controlled so there would be expense for heating, ventilation and AC.
Nice try. Get over yourself, indoors with lights is the most productive method.
STBV has had a partnership with GrowLife since last April. Hardly new to the sector.
Nice try.
Your job must not pay that great. You have been doing this for years. I thought you would have retired by now or did you pass your moniker on to someone else?
Is there a connection here?

Could they be buying GrowLife equipment for the project or is there even more to the partnership?

How did you know?
Short much?
If you'll notice, these friends are using their Myspace page to promote themselves. Most of those so called friends have links to their own pages, and websites, where they are promoting, and selling their music directly.
It's become some kind of a chat, promote and music share site.
I think Sunset Island's Myspace page is hurting their own business.
They are just being used by these people.
JMHO,
SpongeBath
I guess my point is that they also need to do more with the website, and to promote the business itself. Friend on my space are meaningless if it doesn't translate into thousands of bands selling their music.
Do you know if there is a place to find out how many visits their website is getting?
I would like to be able to put "indie music" into a Google search, and at least see Sunset Island Music on the first page of the search. I got tired of looking at pages after 8, and Sunset Island never came up at all.
How are they going to sell product, and grow, if the general public can't even find the?
SpongeBath
I totally agree. They have more potential than any of these other sites, but IMO they are waisting all the good will they created several months ago.
SpongeBath
This is F-ing crazy! What about the bands they claim they want to promote? If I was one of these bands, I would be looking elsewhere for promotion, and to sell my music.
Sunset Island is not the only game in town.
http://www.indie-music.com/
http://www.indierockcafe.com/
There are more, and a simple Google search will find them, but guess what? That same search doesn't bring up Sunset Island.
They can't even do a simple thing like upgrade their searchability.
If they would get off their arses, and do something to promote, and sell their stock, maybe they could afford to be at the top of the search list.
That's why companies go public, to access public funds, to grow their business, and beat the cr@p out of their competition.
Wake the F up SIGO!
Starving artists, and investors don't have time to wait around on you.
Both will be leaving you soon, if you don't do something NOW!!!
With all the music on their site, and friends on myspace, they should have hundreds of bands signed up to sell music, and they only have nine?
What the heck are they doing? Sure doesn't look like they are doing much self promotion.
I sure wish they would quit sitting on their hands, and make this thing work before everyone forgets about them,
SpongeBath
I have sent several as well, and nothing over a period of 3 weeks.
I would be willing to be their IR for the right price. I think responses are important, even if they are not what we want to hear. Anything is better than nothing IMO.
SpongeBath
Actually Monks Den was the most polite, and I got one positive PM from someone on that board. Now that I found out the rules, the hard way, I'll be more careful. Yahoo was the one that surprised me. I thought you could get away with most anything over there.
Really think Sunset should be doing some of this leg work, after all it is their company. Even if they aren't into promoting their stock, there is no denying the fact that more investors will bring more customers to the site.
Have tried to make that point, but I think I am being ignored over there. I'm going to call Michael to find out why he isn't responding to my emails. I have been nothing but polite in my emails, and we had a good conversation on the phone a month ago.
Posted a comment on the news about the prescription drug card, on their website. I was asking how to get one. I got no response. My girlfriend posted nearly the same thing yesterday, and got a response today.
Would be nice if Michael would read this board, and get in tune with the investors. After all he is supposed to be their IR person. JMO, but I think someone needs to evaluate Michael's performance as an IR person.
Sorry if this sounds like a rant. I only mean it as information, and maybe I wanted to vent a bit.
SpongeBath
Well, I posted on several of the investment boards today, and got some not so nice responses. They had nothing bad to say about the company, just about me for having the nerve to post on their board. I even got called a pumper by one.
I got a no, no note from HI Admin Shelly too.
SpongeBath
Sorry, I was asked to get the word out to as many boards as possible. I don't have Monk's email address, or I would send this on to him.
Looks like you have a great board here.
Please forgive my intrusion.

SIGO has recently acquired Sunset Island Music. They are a ground floor music company that has just begun selling music, and other items on their website
http://www.sunsetislandmusic.com/ .
Their first PRs were put out through non mainstream outlets, so very few investors even know about the company.
http://www.i-newswire.com/sunset-island-group-to-acquire/23684
http://www.free-press-release.com/news/print-1271693962.html
They have nearly 39,000 friends on their Myspace page.
http://www.myspace.com/sunsetislandmusic
Including some names you will recognize such as, Robin Williams, Ringo Starr, Kenny Loggins, and several more celebrities.
They also have over 1,000 friends on Facebook.
http://www.facebook.com/SunsetIslandMusic?v=wall
They just put out their first two PRs through Marketwire, and I’m sure there will be many more soon to follow.
http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=SIGO.PK
This could take off any day now.
Just trying to get the word out,
SpongeBath
Thanks Slaz,
It seems they are talking more about the company, and it's stock symbol on their Myspace page.
With all those friends, it would sure be nice if just
1% (400 investors) of them would take a chance, and buy some SIGO stock.
Guess since we have been doing some arm twisting with the company, they decided to do a little self promotion in front of those 40,000 friends.
Sure wish someone would start buying this stock. It can move so easily, it could go scary high in no time at all.
JMHO,
SpongeBath
Morning Slaz. Where was this basic info posted.
It reads like an advertisement.
SpongeBath
Well that didn't last long.
I posted this on several Yahoo boards, and then on the last one, I tried to submit the message, and got ERROR 999.
Then I wen back to look at the boards where I had posted it, and it had been deleted.
Guess Yahoo is tightening up on repeat messages.
Anyone have any ideas?
SpongeBath
Slaz, Do you think this will work?

So far I am only putting this out on yahoo boards, as I don't know of any IHUB boards where it won't get deleted.
Do you have any suggestions?
SpongeBath
Still waiting on more news. Would be great if they would put out one of those "SIGO updates it's shareholders on recent events" type of PRs.
Sure seems like they should bring everyone up to dare through Marketwire.
Hopefully something like that coming soon.
SpongeBath
That is true, but it's not linked to where you buy the song. You have to go to the music site from the store site, and then navigate a bit to find the band so you can listen.
Just think it would make sense to be able to listen right there where you buy.
JMO,
SpongeBath
Wow antisub, someone who actually gets it.
That is what happened with IBAC exactly. Ed has to step in as CEO, but by then the damage had already been done.
Things were not going so well with the hotels. The former CEO started double billing customers, committing credit card fraud.
Ed stepped into a huge mess, tried to salvage the company, but by then the company was bleeding $$$. It was too late to save it, so Ed got the blame for everything. He was later vindicated in a civil case, but no one seems to remember that.
Investors lost allot of money, and Ed lost a few million dollars of his own.
BIHC was a case of stock manipulation from outside of the company, and bogus complaints to the SEC that resulted in suspension.
Ed has now come in to clean up the mess, but this time he is not up against a failing business, or taking over for a criminal CEO.
JMHO,
SpongeBath
Slaz, Your probably right, but the technology is available right on the music site, so it doesn't seem like a hard feature to add, in a short time. They could just add a button that says listen, right next to the song, or a link to it on their music site where the songs are already available to sample, through the band's logo.
As an example, the band "1000 PSI" is listed on the music site
( http://www.sunsetislandmusic.com/?category_name=artists ). You can read a bio, and sample their music by clicking on their logo
( http://www.sunsetislandmusic.com/?p=930 ).
The same band has an album available for $9.99
( https://sunsetislandmall.com/catalog/artists/1000-psi ), and songs for $.99 ( https://sunsetislandmall.com/content/antimatter )
Their logo also appears on these pages where their music is sold.
Sunset Island could simply make the band's logo be a button linking the customer to page with the bio, and music.
Feel free to send this example to Michael, and I will do the same.
SpongeBath
SteveF, I don't know about before the suspension, but it was perceived as a good investment. Those that got out at the right time made allot of $$$. Those that did not are quite disappointed.
If you mean paid, or unsolicited stock promoters, I the paid ones would have be brought in by M&M, but the others probably bought stock, and helped pump SPNG so they could prifit themselves.
However, none of that has anything to do with BIHC IMO.
JMHO,
SpongeBath
Thanks Slaz. Crafty, what do you think?
I just feel it would be a logical addition to the music store. How can someone decide to buy a song if they have never heard it. I sure wouldn't. Seems the pressure we applied worked last time.
I just want to see this company succeed, and reach at least half of it's potential.
SpongeBath
WRONG SteveF,
If this were a reverse merger, there would be restricted shares involved. That is why Ed is going with a strait merger. Read the PRs. They say MERGER. Where do you reverse merger mentioned anywhere?
SpongeBath
These dates are subject to FINRA approval, scheduling and execution as far as the Company and its Transfer Agent are concerned these are the scheduled dates. The Company realizes that it is late regarding the payment of dividends and apologizes to its shareholders and all others concerned.
This is the part that was the problem, once stock was suspended.
I can't be sure that EX Date holds any meaning since it was obviously never approved by FINRA, and the company was suspended 2/6/09. I do recall the dividend posted on Scottrade's dividend calendar, and I think it was on the daily list as well, but none of that is the final word.
I'll try to see if I can find out more about those dates, and if Hayter plans to honor them, or if there is something more to the story.
I just know that 18,400,00 x .0025 = $46,000. Would be nice to get it, but 18,400,000 x .05 = $920,000. I would sure like to be on the plus side of that someday soon lol.
SpongeBath
Great to see more bands signing up,
I have one complaint though.
Here is the content of an email I sent to Michael last week.
Hi Michael,
I'm sure glad to see that you finally put out a public PR on Marketwire, and am very glad to see there is more music available for sale at the store.
I have one complaint though. Other sites that offer music for sale, let you listen to the song before you buy it. That feature does not seem to be available at the store.
I realize that I could look the band up on your site by genre, and name, and probably be able to listen to some songs, but I feel that the listen feature needs to be right there where you buy it.
This is not a suggestion, as I know you get many of them, but a very strong request.
You need to make this site function more like the big boys, such as ITunes, Yahoo, or Google.
TIA for your time,
//////
As yet I have gotten no reply from Michael.
See if you don't think this is a change they should make, and if so please shoot him an email as well.
I'm still here. Looks like the volume might be picking up. Sure would love to see someone hit the new ask.
SpongeBath
Sometimes the squeaky wheel finally gets the grease.
SpongeBath
Slaz. Again, thank you for all your hard work.
Can't wait to see the new music for sale, start piling up.
The future of IGO truly looks bright indeed.
SpongeBath
New music at the store. Yippee

Coal, If we get shares in a new shell @ say 1.5 new for 1 old, and the pps runs to between .05, and .25, would you really care if you got a cash dividend any more?
I doubt it, and I know that with 18.4 million shares, I sure wouldn't be waiting around for a .0025 dividend.
