Chart Background color questions?
I have seen charts and code that paints a charts background color
one color when one mov. avg. is higher than another avg. etc.
But what I was wondering is:
Can you control where on the charts background it is painted?
Like can you paint like the lower 20% of the chart background or the upper 20% or the middle of the chart or what you want to paint the background?
If you can, how do you do that with a sample code?
Maybe like paint the lower 20% of the charts background blue when Mov. avg. X is higher than Mov. avg. Y or what ever.
Any ideas about this would be helpful.
Thanks,
Thanks, I happen to find on the web a similar TOS script and was able with some time to figure out how to write it myself. With a little more work and time I hope to add to it and learn more.
Another question?
I happen to find a tos thinkscript yahoogroup while searching on the web. It seems like a very active group and something that would help me a lot.
What I was wondering is if anyone here is on that group and knows the group owner or anyone who can help one subscribe?
I have been trying to subscribe for many weeks and have sent the group owner emails, but I can't get a reply to join the group? Does anyone know who I can contact about this? It seems like the group owner is gone or something? So I need to know who else in the group I can contact about this?
Thanks again.
I wish a forum like this was very active. I like this type of trading forum myself.
Hello,
New to TOS and thinkscript. I was wondering if there were any thinkscript coders in here? What I would like to know is how to add a moving average on to an indicator, to use as a signal line or showing trend. I would like to add a mov. avg. on the RelativeStrength line that compares two markets to each other. This is NOT the RSI like wilders. And also on the OnBalanceVolume. And of couse be able to add an avg. to basicly any indicators once I learn what to do.
Or is there a better forum to ask about this?
Any info would be helpful.
Not sure why you can't just in TOS thinkdesk just click on an indicator and it have a way to just add an avg. or another indicator to that indicator?
Everyone using Best Choice Software seems to be making big money.
How has everyone here been doing? I have been away a while, but it seems like there are very little posts lately. What has happened to everyone? Heard that george lea and few others are still making maybe hundreds of thousands using Best Choice. How has the test account been doing of syndicate2? Are there any updates?
Anyone here happen to get the BestChoice newsletter?
I believe part of the Sept. newsletter is suppose to be about George Lea's trading ideas.
This is very interesting stuff.
Thanks,
Was wondering what the short term cycle system was that you were talking about through email? And is it any good and worth trying?
Thanks,
Thanks for that info. On their stuff it seems to be quick trades. How far out on avg. do you go with the strike prices?
Or do you mainly do at the money with the tradingmarkets stuff?

Syndicate Two,
Read your email. I see no matter what one uses the key is exits-getting out. I was wondering on doing high risk high percentage typs options trading, why not shoot for 100% profits on at least half of the positions?
Also on the TradingMarkets part.
I don't have their book and have not read it, but I know a little general stuff about them from reading some of their stuff on Yahoo. And I also think that the market will drop soon, probably early next week. But from the little I have read of theirs they like to use the 200 day avg. in their trades. And I believe we are above the 200 avg. So why would they look to short on the QQQQ's?
Also can you say or explain what the RSO is and how it is calculated?
Thanks for having this forum.
I was wondering if anyone here is going to the event or buying the DVD of the event in San Jose Calif. of George Lea and the way he trades?
Also does anyone know if this DVD is going to be an hour or more of sales pitches and maybe 15-30 minutes of George Lea telling what he may or may not do or use.
Or is this DVD going to be basicly No sales pitch with maybe an hour of George Lea telling step by step. This is what I do. This is how I do it. And this is why I do it. And this is the results.
The reason I ask is; I wouldn't mind buying a DVD if he explains exactly the ends and outs of his trading. But I don't want even if free, if it is just general talk, answering questions, and mostly sales pitches.
Thanks to you and everyone else. I got it working. I used microsofts media player and had no problems.
Thanks again,
I don't get that message, but all I get is the audio.
I was wondering if the webinar was only audio? And if it was video, how do I get it to play.
How does one install codec to their video player?
By the way I am using the VLC media player to play them. It has worked great for anything bideos that I have ever tried before.
Thanks for trying it.
I was wondering if anyone can tell me if the webinars at the bottom of this website are only audio or are they videos?
http://www.bestchoicesoftware.com/BestChoice4/usergroupslist.php
I just downloaded a few of them and when I play them, I don't get any video. I only get the audio of the webinar.
If they are suppose to be videos, please let me know what I have to use and do to see the videos. I have never had any trouble with any other videos, so they may be only audio. But I am not sure.
Also thanks for the info on George Lea and the software.
Thanks for your time,
Anyone have any info, like a step by step, this is what I do and how I do it, to finding and trading stock options like George Lea or any other trader that has offered their trading help on using Best Choice to find and trade options?
And I don't mean any sales pitch type stuff.
Just a this is what I do and how I do it type stuff.
Or maybe any audio or video of stuff like this with the sales pitch cut out.
Thanks,
Got it!
Thanks.
I am new here and I was wondering how do you get on this boards email list?
