Thanks Dan... I'm glad that they showed some signs of defeat. I hope THJMW's ruling comes out soon now.
Going to bed. Night all.
Chuck
Were there any notable reactions to the statements of the judge? Or were they all buddy buddy after the hearing?
DanBB... you are without a doubt the best asset of this board. From offering your time and money for listening into the court and actually going there since you couldn't call in, your service is greatly appreciated.
It looks like the whole crooked DC judge scenario may have been thrown out the window today. I was worried that the FDIC may have some connections with the judge, but from the way you word things, it appears to be just the opposite. Sounds like both Judges will be fair and correctly interpret the current laws and similar cases. Would be nice though to see some kind of decision from either of them really soon (yesterday lol). Glad also to see that the DC judge doesn't want to have the same issues debated in 2 venues. Such a relief! Seems the FDIC and JPM have been called out on playing jurisdiction.
Really hope that this is a case of the stars starting to align just right for this thing to start picking up pace.
Again, Thanks for reporting to us. I want to shake your hand first in Vegas.
Chuck
Just as I thought, one judge is going to wait and see what the other judge does. Back and forth. Back and forth. I still think there will be a nice payout, but how long can these shenanigans go on?
I just hope that this isn't gonna be a common thing where one judge waits to see what the other is going to do. BUT it may be fore a good reason.
By the way, can I bring a pomeranian... I mean, it has papers dude and you can't board it.
I understand that.
True... Didn't mean it as doom and gloom though. But it is meant to show that Global Settlement won't be reached very soon, unless Weil or THJMW lets the pitbulls out of the cage.
While I think the hearing on the 4th regarding whether or not the case will be moved back to Texas is important, I don't think it will be what JMW is waiting on. I'm sure that she is working diligently to make her ruling, but making sure that everything is in order. But again, who knows.
The only thing that gets me down right now is that I don't have enough cash to buy more at the moment while a blue light sale is in effect! HAHA.

Go Fish! That actually makes perfect sense.
Thank you...
Correct... An amended amount, NOT in addition to.
Yeah, I'll take what we can get.

Desperation...
Nothing is certain on that front. Battered and Fried is great. Did you see Ericka???
Which is 2pm in Nashville. I know SR4C.
Omnibus today @ 2pm our time and who knows on the turnover of the $4b. How was Ruth's Chris.
She said she may make a ruling back in June. This time she said she will.
Just something to point out. Back in June I think it was, THJMW said that she may make a ruling on the $4B given the evidence/ arguments given. She has yet to do so. HOWEVER, when we had the hearing for the motion of summary judgment, she said she will give her ruling as as soon as she can. Now when THJMW has said that she will do something, she has always followed through with her statements (ie 2004 discovery). So we know that she is working hard on writing her opinion so that her order will stick. Read the fine print people.
Sorry to hear you abandoned ship Chiron. For your sake, I hope it was the right decision. For my sake, I hope you are 100% wrong. Me, I'm not selling what few shares I can afford. Why... We don't have an answer yet. On this horse, you should only place what you're safe to lose and put the rest on some Maker's Mark.
Guys and gals. The judge has not made a ruling. As is evident in previous hearings, she is getting sick of JPM and the FDIC. IMO it would not be wise to sell at this point. Wait to see what she says. Who knows, she may find something to make the FDIC choke on. Then you will wish you were in.
Sums it up very well. Didn't read any posts after I started listening to all the audio files. Sorry if I have repeated some of the earlier discussions. Just wanted to give my two cents right after digesting everything. I guess great minds do think alike. LOL
So are we going to take bets on how many times THJMW will write the word frivolous relating to JPMC in her opinion? Seriously, JPMC only repeated what it has already said in the past. Plus WMI set the stage that JPMC had absolutely no evidence and JPMC acknowledged it. Did they ever even address the comment made by WMI that they were about to hand it over and changed their mind? No, they stated that they wanted discovery and a trial. How ironic. They want it here for this proceeding but they don't want to comply with the bankruptcy order for 2004 that WMI has against them. MAYBE what they meant to say is, "We would like, Your Honor, to find evidence through discovery and trial ~ IN DC ~, before any decision is made."
Then the FDIC stepped in to show their muscle. Problem is they sent a timid mouse to stand before the court. While he was clouting his "weight" in the courtroom, it almost sounded like he was losing his voice in parts. Especially when he made his threat to use section 9.5. He started to choke on his words. Uh's and's and stuttering.
This my friends will be the straw that breaks the camel's back. You watch and see. They don't want to let it go, even though they claim it is monopoly money. As stated before..
Desperation is a stinky cologne.
Nice find wamuer! Listening to the hearing right now. Thanks for the files DanBB! Hang on to those shares and buy more if we go lower.
Apparently that's all JPM thinks it's worth. LOL.
What was up with the sharp rise of wamuq and the sharp fall of JPM? I wonder if the Judge has already told them which way the HAMMER will fall. The hearing tomorrow may just be a formality. It would be lovely, no freakin awesome if THJMW would slap JPM with sanctions and more frivolous speak tomorrow. Unfortunately, I won't be able to listen to much of it. Will be checking the board off and on all day though.
Thanks DanBB for your dedication.
999,000 shares @ .19
Maybe this has happened before but look at JPM's trades a few minutes after the close. That is BIG money!!!! Someone getting scared about the 22nd???
Nice buy a few minutes ago 320,000 @2:46 .212
I don't think that we should count the chickens before they hatch. This is allowing JPM to argue their motion for leave to file declarations. If she grants them that motion, then the rest of the day is scrapped. I have a feeling that she won't though. But at this point anything can happen.
Ghost over on Y! has an update:
Walrath will hear JPM before the scheduled summary judgment hearing on the morning of the 22nd.
http://www.ghostofwamu.com/documents/09-50934/09-50934-0184.pdf
That is human nature. It's ok. I think we all feel like that at times with all of the delays slowing things down. But just remember the 22nd is coming fast and it could very well set the tone for the rest of what's to come.
Hang in there!
Here's to a great week this week. Hope you all have your tickets. Can't wait to see how Chiron's prediction pans out. Danbb over on the other post said that he would post the hearing info the morning of, just in case you missed it. He posts as astockinvestor over on Y!
Thanks Dan

Choo Choo! The wamuq train is about to leave the station. All aboard! Next stop Moneyville. The 22nd is drawing near.
You ever had the thought cross your mind that LR&C wants to distance themselves as far as possible from the outcome of this case? I think they know what JPMC and the FDIC did, but are forced to remain on the case with the threat that JPM may retaliate against them if they don't. Why would a law firm with such high standing want to put their name on the laughing stock list? Wonder if they are trying to get JPM to cut their own throats so they can say, "You know what... We're done with this."
In a sense I think I am starting to feel sorry for them.
Yeah if you check most any quote page for WM, you usually still see reference to Washington Mutual on it. Seems that WM will be forever tied to this tragedy.
So can I get a loan to buy some Wamuq then??? JK.
HMMMMM.... you could be on to something there. EOM
Sponger, you need to absorb this...
From Alvarez and Marsal their lawyers.

And when you google it, (april 2003 bankruptcy healthsouth) it returns nothing but posts about, "may enter bankruptcy" "healthsouth avoids bankruptcy." etc.
Tell you what, if you can provide me a legit link and a BK filing number I will humbly apologize and say you are right. But I doubt it will happen... I'd say Alvarez and Marsal know what they did and posted it in their report.
You are correct jhdf51.
Alvarez and Marsal kept them from it.
