The dip was good, I think. Although the earnings report came in short when the price dropped from $11 to $9.50 there were buyers waiting to jump and it is coming right back up. This shows strength and some good news will take it higher, IMO.
When it was at 9.50 I was going to put a stop order at 8.00, but I didn't. One day it dropped to 7.99 for a while and I'd have probably lost most if not all of my holding.
Now every time it moves I want to protect the investment, but I get wobbly and leave it alone. Still, I'm thinking I might put a stop order at 10.00 if it hit 12.00 then move it up 50 cents at a time.
I've been waiting for this since buying Waytronics at 18 cents. I've held my breath a few times and now I'm edgy about where to place a stop and how long to ride.
Slojab-
Thanks for the replies. There is no way to access any more free discussion boards.
SLOJAB -
The stock is WYNX.
When I tried to reply to you I got redirected back to a menu to pick what level of subscription I want to buy.
Are all discussion boards now subscription only? I used to watch a discussion about one of my favorite stocks that stalled for a while, but it is moving now and I'd like to stay on top of the comments, but can't get on.
The chart above this DB always has the same time and doesn't show a date. I wonder how accurate it is.
RE: I made this post a while back,
So how does all this positivity translate to a dropping price and trading stall?
Is something unsavory going on internally or behind the scene?
I don't understand it.
I see nothing but positive news about WYNX. The numbers are better than most and there is no major litigation clouding their future, yet the price keeps dropping.
What gives?
"The 11 cent trade was 9k shares and got painted back"
Another short term drop today, what's up with these very brief dips?
Where is the best place to tracking trade activity?
Can someone help me out here?
How does the price on this stock drop from .18 to .11 for 25 minutes? Did someone make a big buy or sell in that dip?
Sell on news!!
That seems counter productive - where is the logic?
Is this true?
Absolutely NO trading volume at all today? Maybe my computer is stuck?
How much do market fears influence a company like Waytronics?
Does the fear of a government take over of health care matter to tech stocks?
"Why would the Company hire Newletters to TRY"
That's what I am hoping to learn from those of you here that are more knowledgeable than I am on these issues.
losses on funds we held we sold everything and had some cash sitting in the IRA that we couldn't touch without penalties. This looked liked a good bet to me.
When I was in corporate life we worked on efficiencies, product development and customer service. The profits and subsequently the stock moved according to our success. We didn't work the other way around by spending our efforts to manipulate stock values for short term gain. I can't understand the point in such a plan, so I am listening.
"If you are about to exercise a warrant, "
How can a person do that? Does it take a large warrant volume or several warrant holders? What do they do?
Conversely, can they drive the price up before selling?
RE: Somebody sold 630 sh to try to drive down..
I don't see the point. Is there a strategy to that that could make some sense?
(I'm learnin' here - I got interested in this company because of local news in the PNW and I like what I've read about products and management. So, I am in it as much as I can afford for a long run to recap some of what I lost in the slump when I was ignoring a couple of funds I owned )
.03 drop. Took a shot in the last hour - what was that about?
RE: LOL "too" funny indeed considering WYNX
I'm hoping this .22 - .25 hover continues for a while. I have been holding a mortgage not which comes due at the end of the month and I want more of this company before it reaches actual value. --- Expecting a buck (or close) in the not too distant future.
This is great news. The sale price seems low, maybe there is more going on or it indicates a very solid long term friendship and trust between Yamagishi and the McKenzie Sr.
Aren't the buys aat 'ask' a show of solid interest? That seems better than a lot of bottom feeding. I'm looking to add - thinking this will move on the patent news and solid management.
What's MM games?
It seems that being early in with the Way Cool advanced cooling capability could be somewhat like the position Microsoft or Excel stepped into in their early stages.
