Gary, what do you see as the major difference between Eco2Plastics and GBOE. I guess what I am getting at is that Eco2 seems to be stuck at .02; and they are up and operating. Is there a difference that you can see that will hopefully get GBOE over whatever barrier Eco2 is facing. Is it demand? Or is it FDA approval? Or is Eco2 just not a profitable business model? Is Eco2 fully operating? Thanks in advance.
Hey Roger, do you know if they have FDA approval or not. Some are saying they do, others are saying they don't. If they don't then it seems that this still has potential because that would be the barrier to profitability (which seems they can overcome). If they already have FDA approval then what is holding this thing back?
Oh, good... sorry you're down in other stocks... but good that you didn't mean what I thought you meant. Hope your luck picks up. I had a terrible day yesterday... there wasn't a single green line in my portfolio. Oh well today is a new day and tomorrow too.
Does anyone have any solid info as to why this is popping?
HA! If that isn't the best attitude that you can have to lose lots of money really quickly I don't know what is. If you have other reasons to sell other than "I don't want to wait" then I would understand...but don't sell now just because you lost a little, if impatience is your only reason. Good greif!!!
About the merger postponement...
I am wondering if the postponement of the merger (that was supposedly already completed) had anything to do with the fact that the bond was issued to enviroplastics and NOT plastics conversion. Do you think that there is anything to this. Maybe enviroplastics needs to secure the financing for the bond before they become PCT under the merger. This is speculation...and I don't know if bonds are transferable under a merger or not...but maybe if they aren't, that is what the whole thing is about (and the other issues they explained). Any thoughts?
If the global warming bill passes the senate do you think it will have any impact on GBOE? If it does pass I am sure there will be some great plays out there... are any of you planning any purchases of other companies that might reap the benefits of this bill?
Excuse my ignorance here but this latest pr confuses me.
I was under the impression that the merger was already completed. Now they are saying it is gonna be delayed? Does this mean that the merger deal can still possibly not go through? Secondly, I was under the impression that I have been investing in GBOE...DBA PCT. If the merger isn't even completed then who actually owns PCT or does it even exist at this point? And if the merger somehow doesn't go through...where does that leave us. I am not trying to bash here, but I feel like other PR's stated pretty clearly that PCT was formed by the completed merger between GBOE and EnvPlas. Can anybody clear this up for me? Thanks in advance.
Exactly, that's why the timing of buying the rest of my shares is so critical...I want to maximize my investment...so I don't want to buy now if it is going to go much lower...but if they announce some news about the bond then there is NO way we will be subpennies after that. So I guess it is a risk either way...
I am looking forward to the new website. Hopefully it will be loaded with information and lots of cool things to look at ... like a video of the plastics conversion process...or celebrity endorsements like BEHL got! (kind of corny imo, but if the endorsements help then more power to 'em)
I keep on debating myself when I want to pull the trigger to buy the rest of my position. A big part of me sees the dilution and says: "wait". Another part of me says that news of financing could come any day (tomorrow, or 4 months from now). If we get news of financing from the bonds we certainly won't be seeing .002's anymore! So maybe getting in now IS a good choice. I am waiting a little more either way because I am currently tied up in some other positions that haven't paid off quite yet. I am comfortable with my current position so that I won't be kicking myself if it goes up considerably on good news, and if it goes to triple z's then I will definately buy in some more.
I'm with you guys in thinking this could be huge. I really hope we get some good news concerning some financing soon. How long the dilution continues before financing is in place is really key to how high this thing can take off. Personally I am not too concerned about 600,000,000 shares...but I AM concerned about 5 BILLION. If we can get financing somewhere short of a billion o/s that would be great. If we can get away with somewhere less than 2 billion it would be okay...anymore than that and we are looking at drastically reduced levels that the pps will go to. But IF they can assume nearly 100 Mill in revenue from 5 plants then we could be looking at a very nice pps. It may be a couple years down the road but DANG! Let's just all hope that Roger is right and their last PR was hinting at having a financier for the bond.
Roger, what are your thoughts on the 20 million dollar bond. As I have stated before, I have no knowledge of how they work. Is the fact that they haven't applied for it a concerning issue, or is that a formality to take care of AFTER they find a financier? And what do you think is the reasoning for authorizing 5 billion shares if they won't need them after the 20 million? Do you think the 5 billion was just in case they don't get the financing? Thanks in advance.
It's tearing me up right now. About a month and a half ago I was trying to decide between GBOE and BEHL as my speculative stock. It turns out I chose GBOE. And now it sucks to see this going down day after day and BEHL (which I would could have had at .002) has gone up to .0085 now and may very well break a penny. AND the A/S is only 750,000,000. The reasons I chose GBOE was because the low A/S at the time, and because of the 20,000,000 bond. Now the A/S is 5 Billion, and they still haven't even put in an application for the bond. I am not saying our day won't come...but damn it just hurts to see such great progress being made on the stock I ALMOST bought. Well, here's hoping for GBOE... and someday I really hope I don't have to look at BEHL and say... "dang, I would be a millionaire if..."
copper king is a mining company that is highly suspect of being a scam. one of the many reasons is that they have promised a website for a year now and still nothing. They say that they are focused on other things right now. I never bought any shares of CPRK because things were just a little too fishy.
But I have to say...sometimes it is really difficult to tell the difference between a scam and a startup because some of their activities are very much alike. The big difference is that a scam will just do all those "startup" type activities endlessly and a real startup will hopefully move beyond those things....such as dilutions and fluffy pr's with vague projections. The problem is that you will see "scam!" at every single otc company message board. So when one actually IS a scam it is like the boy who cried wolf.
Kind of like IGNT. I happen to feel that it is in fact a scam. I don't know for sure, but there is just too much out there to read that is not very positive for IGNT. And their constant vague pr's like "we are on track to possibly make a profit by next quarter" or "the ad for our product was well received" and "will hopefully be debt free by end of quarter". Very vague and no support by actual numbers. I actually made a ton of cash of of IGNT by selling off the hype last week...but I certainly wouldn't go long with them unless some really compelling info came out that convinced me they were legit.
In regards to the bond...
have they even submitted their application yet for the wisconsin bond? Admittedly, I don't know much about the bond process. If anybody wants to enlighten me I would greatly appreciate it. Anyways, they said that they are looking into requirements to possible get other bonds in different states. But why don't they first take advantage of the one that is being offered? Do they have to find the financier first before they apply for the bond? I just was hoping to hear that they actually HAD financing, not that they are looking for more. Especially because we haven't had any updates on the one that they already announced a while ago. Any input would be appreciated.
On another topic. I will be really happy when they get the new website up and running. I hope it doesn't turn into a Copper King "website" project.
joenatural...can you supply a link to the 8-k with otto's signurature and also other links to otto's connection to scams. People throw that word out at every single penny stock. If what you are saying is true then please give us the info to read for ourselves so we can make a wise decision.
Not to sound too Debbie Downer, and it is always great to hear news, but I would much rather hear "Bond Issue goes better than expected" or "Breaking ground on new facility"... you know...something of substance that will actually push this company and the pps forward. This pr is definately good news, it gives Gary and this company credibility for sure, but I sure would like to hear updates about the next steps the company is taking.
I am very new to this company. Was there any news that brought this surge on? I read the article about increased sales due to the H1N1...but is that all? Not trying to bash this thing and am happy for those making money...but I am a little leary of buying into this right now unless there was more substantial news that would make me think this surge is more than temporary.
I really don't think this is a "dead end trip" though. Of course none of us know for sure so it is speculation. And in the end, a great business plan can make an investor really rich, or it can make an investor really poor. Good business plans are attractive but they have to be executed. And the execution is what we are all betting on (or betting against). I think most of us agree that they have a good thing going for them. The question is: can they get it done. I am willing to bet that they will. The only thing I need to figure out is how low are these prices gonna drop so I know when to buy the rest of my position. 5 billion a/s says to me that the pps is gonna keep dropping...
If this drop isn't because of new dilution then it could just be because the whole market has taken a beating for the past couple of days, and we are in the red again today. My portfolio is getting rocked right now. It sucks... I think I'll just have to keep from checking it today.
Yeah I'm wondering if they issued more shares or something...that is a pretty sharp drop all of a sudden. If they did dilute again, I am wondering if they are gonna come out with some good news to counter it...let's hope so. Of course, a part of me hopes it goes to triple zeros for a short period of time so I can really load up on the cheap. But I don't want it to get stuck there for too long!
I understand the point you are making and I don't disagree with you. And I understand that this company needs financing to get all the operations up and running. To me it is just a pragmatic decision to wait it out a bit and see if this dilution takes place. If it doesn't then I will be extremely happy. If it does then I will wait a bit and buy more very happily after the dilution takes its course. Good luck everyone...I will be very patiently waiting and staying long on this. This can be such a great thing!
For me, it is not a question of believing in the company or its product, or whether or not I want a strong position. I do believe in GBOE and I do want a strong position. The whole question is what price do I continue my buying. IF they issue the 5 billion shares I will be buying millions at .000x. So the question is: if I have X amount of dollars to buy this, would I rather buy 1 million shares at .0025 or buy 10 million shares at .0003. To me, I would rather keep my position where it is and wait out this dilution a little bit so I can by more shares with the same amount of money. That way, if they do have to do something like a 100:1 r/s to get uplisted, I might go from 10,000,000 shares to 100,000 instead of 1,000,000 to 10,000 having bought them for the same amount of money. I am not selling my current shares on the chance that the bonds go well and they don't have to issue the 5 billion shares; I will still have a decent position if it takes off before further dilution takes place. I reduced my exposure to the coming downward trend by selliing off a little bit. I am leaving the rest to ride out. I may be way off here. Maybe I should be scooping these things up... but with 10 times the current float waiting to be issued... I am betting that this thing is going to drop...even though I hope it doesn't.
I think what I will do is keep the shares I have left for now. I sold off about a third of my position. If I take a loss on the rest it will be "lesson learned" money. I am not going to buy into my full position I want until I feel the dilution is mostly over with. I don't want to pull everything out because on any good news released this thing could pop. Or if the bond goes well they could very well end the dilution and forget about the rest of the authorized shares. The pps could jump out of reach really quickly and it would be a shame to not have a position if that were to happen. But like I said, I just won't be buying any more for right now. Good luck to everyone and I'll still be around anxiously waiting for news.
and I really hope that they don't issue all 5 billion...but as poorme pointed out, why would they authorize them if they aren't gonna use them. It's not like it is difficult for them to authorize shares. I'm not trying to bash this by any means, and I hope I am wrong about everything I am saying... but I am just disappointed right now and was hoping that this one would be different. I guess time will still tell.
Maybe so, but then why dilute the shares so much. This is why some kind of PR from Gary would be really nice right now. I think we all want to know exactly what this is going towards. The building is a lease back, the machines are discounted and are paid in part with stock, they have a 20 million dollar bond...why such an enourmous dilution?
I hate to see this... but the future might hold for us a strong dilution. Then when they are ready to start doing business they will change the ticker name and with it, do a reverse split of 100:1 Hopefully after that they won't dilute the shares again to finance the other plants they plan on. This can turn into a viscous cycle. I really hope I am wrong...time will tell. For now I am thinking about waiting for the right moment and then selling off my shares to wait on the sidelines until this dilution is over with. I really wanted a million shares of this...I didn't think I was gonna get them at .0001! Let's hope it doesn't fall that far. I might keep a hundred thousand or so just in case, but I think I need to minimize my losses.
Does anybody have anything that might convince me that i should hold through this?
I like your optimism. I am just in a bad way right now because I see my loss on this thing just keep getting bigger and bigger. I am trying to stay level about it though. I just really hope they don't issue all those 5 billion shares.
who knows, maybe they don't plan on issuing them... maybe it is a "just in case, they are in the back pocket" Sure would be nice if Gary gave us some indication though.
I have been in GBOE for a couple of months now and have been really excited about their prospects. But I gotta be honest... this is getting out of control. I understand that new companies have to raise money, but at least give us the respect to answer the questions that were submitted. And to boost the A/S to 5 BILLION! c'mon! I was okay with the 500 million but 5 billion?!? If they actually float those it is gonna make it really difficult for this thing to ever take off. I love this company and what they have going, and I am excited about all the progress they are making, I just hope they dont' screw us all over in the process. I hate talking badly about this company, but we gotta at least have some answers for an increase to 5 BILLION a/s.
