My guess is that someone is going to invest in this new business plan in order to make HII0 operational.
According to the press, Becker is the president and ceo of all 3 (PHHC, HSI and HII0) so I guess it is possible he gets paid from all 3?
No way would the court allow PHHC money to be used for HII0, bankruptcy does not allow such a thing IMO.
Maybe they get HII0 up and running, make it a success and then close down PHHC? I hope not.
Maybe transform PHHC into HII0?
Who knows.
Not a PR, here is a news story.
Read between the lines and it seems clear where they are going.

Hacketts Wants To Start Glens Falls Clothing Shop
GO Go Go
I agree with you in regards to the investment, the stock promotion, the illegal things from the parent company and just about everything else.
The only place we disagree is with how wonderful the Hacketts stores are and how important they are to our community.
If TS controls Hacketts, why not tell us the last time he stepped foot into a Hacketts store?
New PR

Here we go again.
To the moon Alice! To the moon.
LOL
I think it is time for Sambo to mod again.
Yes, that much is clear.
New PR for HCKI
dmnnewswire.digitalmedianet.com/articles/viewarticle.jsp?id=957612
SACKETS HARBOR, N.Y., Jan. 15, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Hackett’s Stores, Inc. (Pink Sheets:HCKI) is pleased to announce that it has formed a new subsidiary, HIIO, Inc. (pronounced “H-two-Oh”), to complement its subsidiary, Patrick Hackett Hardware Company.
I doubt we will ever see a penny even if that happens.
People like this are smart enough to hide all their assets.
Yes, Jim and hindsight is 20/20.
We all got robbed and we wont see a penny back on the investment.
Maybe a trillion by now.
IMO
Can I just say that since Mr. Becker took over the stores do look great. Sure, some stores had to close because Becker was handed a raw deal and a real mess from TS.
The Burg store never looked as good as it does today. I mean never.
I tell you something else, the staff love Mr. Becker and so do the customers.
The stores rock, BUT, no matter how well the stores do, this stock is never going to return and investing in this stock is for crazy people only.
IMO
Yeah man, I am with you on that.
He is angry that he lost money and he does not want anyone else to lose money.
He is not rejoicing.
no action at all today, I think people have gotten the word, Lucky.
If you read the bankruptcy filing, you will see that Hacketts is owned by HCKI and that HCKI is in turn owned by SEVA.
It does not matter what your links show, I am more likely to believe the documents from the court.
HCKI is the majority owner of PHHC.
HCKI is majority owned by SEVA.
Try to keep the facts straight.
I wonder who bought 2000 in this one??
WHY??
Dilution or not, someone is selling and someone else is using real money to buy.
It is volume.
Great volume today, whats up with that?
I am not sure if he did or if it was one of the crummy WiseBuys stores.
Anyone here know?
The store was not making money and that is why they closed it.
This is the sort of store that should never had been opened in the first place.
It was a mistake. For those of you who know Tupper Lake, it is a really small community. They were supposed to get a jail built there and that would have brought a lot of people and business. But no jail no business.
The store closed and it was a good thing. You need to cut out the cancer to save the business.
IMHO
Cant argue with you on that one Lucky
I came here originally to support the stores because I thought that this was what the group was all about.
Then I found out that people spent their time bashing the stock for a variety of reasons as well as pumping for a variety of reasons.
I dont care about that, I care about the stores and their importance to the North Country folks who live here.
You still dont get it. TS can no longer benefit because their is a court appointed trustee and a judge who is running the money end for the creditors.
No way can TS get any benefit now.
He is in the company in name only.
Dont get me wrong, dont anyone go and buy HCKI stock, but do watch and see if the stores succeed or not.
IMO
Right, the judge is the one pulling the purse strings now and TS cant do a thing.
If you call James (he likes to be called Jim) Brown, he will tell you that Tommy has nothing to do with the stores, sales, discounts, buying or management.
He is a no show and the Jim Brown guy along with his team is the group turning it all around.
Tommy boy has not been in the stores, any of them, from what I hear, for almost a year.
Good riddens to TS and long live the Hackett's chain.
We all understand how you feel about Tommy boy I am just talking about the store and its management.
Yeah, that's the one.
For those of you in the North Country, if you listen to Randy in the morning on 102.9, he has been saying great things about the store and its management.
Now that was funny.
LOL
Your cup is always half empty.
According to the attorney for Chapter 11, here is the real deal.
Pactrick Hackett Hardware Company is a wholly owned sub of Hacketts Stores, Inc. (HCKI).
HCKI is over 90% owned by Seaway Capital (SEVA).
You can find the lawyers name on the public chapter 11 filings and you can do what I have done, call the lawyer and ask for clarity.

Good story about the Hacketts store and how well they are doing.

Hacketts sale to clear way for new merchandise
By BRIAN KIDWELL
JOHNSON NEWSPAPERS
TUESDAY, JANUARY 5, 2010
We all lost money here and at SEVA, you have been making the same warnings and claims for months.
You say the same things every time.
Why not just move on Lucky?
I have never argued on the merit of TS, on him being good or bad. I could care less. He does not run the stores, I doubt he has been there at all over the past year.
My discussions have been about the stores themselves, the folks who run them and work there.
Hacketts is needed in our towns, we dont have big malls or big stores, we do have Hacketts and we are glad we do.
