Good luck to all!
Their numbers per connection are decreasing not increasing.
The candy bar is still the same price. Just because people are spending more with mobile wallets does not mean an increase for usat. This is not apples to apples, usat has shown no increase per machine or transaction and will not show any significant increase.
Nearly all of usat's transaction income is generated from vending machines, no one is going to buy two candy bars instead of one because they can use their phone instead of cc. You have yet to show how any mobile wallet explosion will trickle down to usat and frankly I believe the reason why you have yet to show it is because there is no straight line between mobile wallet use and usat income.
And still.....none of this touches usat.
Why not post this on the apple board because an increase in mobile wallet use does not constitute any financial gain for usat. The only effect mobile wallet use has on usat is negative because of the estimated 50,000 eports that need to be upgraded in order to accept that form of payment.
Where shall we start?
1. Reverse split
2. 20+ years of operating loses
3. Continued cash burn now debt accumulation
4. Management fleecing the company
5. Bogus claims of "contracts" and "commitments"
6. etc....etc
If this company starts sustaining an actual profit with positive cash flow I'll buy one share of stock. That way no matter what happens I'll be part owner and won't be able to post negative things about the company.
A fool and his money.
good luck....you're gonna need it.
So you have confidence in the management of usat? Why? What have they ever done to justify you giving them your hard earned money?
Was it the 20+ years of financial losses for the company?
Was it the 99% drop in pps?
Was it the millions that management has given themselves in compensation?
Was it hiding from its shareholders the fact that they were being sued by the biggest name in vending?
Maybe it was every PR that claims "contracts" and "agreements" with every tom, dick and harry that never quite seem to pan out?
I really could go on for hours.
You know what, I'm trying to treat you like a mature intelligent person. That's my mistake.
You sir/madam are neither. usat is a pig and quite frankly anyone who sticks with this pig gets what they deserve.
You have proved my point that you don't get it. And you're not intelligent enough to explain it to. Please by all means, buy all the usat shares you can afford, nope.....buy usat shares even if you can't afford it and I'll continue to laugh at your simpleton posts.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
Are you my wife? Because arguing with you is like arguing with her. I tell you that 5 + 5 = 10 and you come back with "you're wrong because 2 + 2 = 4".
You just don't get it. It doesn't matter which cashless method people use, one cashless method is the same as any other as far as usat is concerned.
If I buy a candy bar usat does not make more money if I use apple pay instead of a card.
So when you get home.....show us where usat's cashless transactions per machine are going up. And of course only count the eports that can accept mobile wallets, not the 50,000 or so that can only accept cards.
It would be very neat if you were the one to find it and post it for me. I would really respect that.
Nope, I'm going to go with.....you are so wrong it's funny.
Apple pay will not increase vending machine sales....not one little bit.
Now if you can show me where and how it will increase usat's transactions, then I'm all ears. But you keep telling us how mobile wallets use will increase and I keep correcting you. Even if mobile wallet use increases....it does not make a difference to usat and more importantly it makes no difference to usat shareholders....
Also the importance of the Coke lawsuit, is more that usat lied to the Atlanta Newspaper as well as their own shareholders.
“A USA Technologies spokeswoman told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution on Tuesday that the suit was “baseless and without merit.”
6 weeks after they accrued funds to pay damages!
I don't think this has a real effect on usat. They don't have any connections in retail stores. They have some kiosks but nearly all vending machines. The text you quoted is absolutely irrelevant here, none of it has anything to do with usat. You're acting as if usat has a chip in the mobile wallet game. And they do not!
In my opinion there will not be any significant increase in vending machine sales because people can use their phone instead of card or cash. That's what really matters here, will mobile wallets cause a significant increase in vending machine transactions?
USAT over billed coke, then coke sued. USAT said the suit was baseless.
Now from the financial report.
“As of September 30, 2014, the Company has accrued approximately $690,000 representing estimated obligations of the Company in connection with a customer billing dispute and is included in Accounts Payable in the Consolidated Balance Sheets. Approximately $280,000 of this amount was recorded in fiscal 2014 and $410,000 of this amount was recorded in the three months ended September 30, 2014 and is reflected in Cost of Services in the Consolidated Statements of Operations.“
I guess the suit had merit after all.

How does changing the method of cashless payment have any effect on usat? Just because people can use their phone instead of a CC doesn't mean they are going to hunt down vending machines to make a purchase.
usat is still burning cash and now they are taking on debt on top of that. This is still only a cash cow for the insiders.

"That's what people see" ?
Do you want to know my opinion on what people see? They see a 99% drop in shareholder value since inception. They see money going to the management but never the shareholders. They see bullshit rumors run the pps up.....just to see it come back down when the facts take over.
This is not a success story no matter how badly you want to make it one. This is the story of a 20 year fleecing of the shareholders....that's it....that's all there is.

This dog just keeps on barking.
It seems plain to me that MMs have played with this toy over and over again. They try to move this up on every single rumor....then it just floats back down again.
I'd be interested in seeing who runs it up and who shorts it when it gets there.

Because of the number of units usat has in the field that cannot accept payment from a mobile wallet, whether it is Apple's or anyone else's. If what people are claiming (Mobile wallets are going to greatly decrease the use of cash, which I don't buy for a minute) is true, then usat will have to spend millions that they don't have in order to upgrade units already in the field and every future unit will also probably cost more.
Also, these rumors of "Apple would buy usat" are bogus. There is nothing that Apple needs to buy, usat has no exclusive agreements with their customers that keeps them using eports. The customers can change the device in their machines any time they want.
My point is, if Apple and mobile wallet take off, it is bad for usat. Their hardware in the field cannot accept mobile wallet payments and Apple is not going to "buy" usat because usat has no contracts with their customers. The customers are free to walk away at any time so all Apple has to do is come in and give the vendors a better deal......see Coke and the removal of 30,000 units.
And the bad news for you is you are already $.16 in the red. I hope you make money, I really do, I never want to see the little guy lose.
So this run is based on a rumor from someone who has no direct knowledge of Apple's plan? Great!
I still think that Apple getting into the cashless game is not a good thing for usat. I still think that mobile wallets are not a good thing for usat. Most of their hardware in the field is not capable of handling this form of payment.

That's just too funny. Did the movie industry claim that switching from VCR to DVD was going to be a boom for its business? NO!
Only usat, or its investors\gamblers claim that a change in the manner in which people use cashless will help its bottom line. When it will hurt the bottom line because many, many of its eports are not capable of handling transactions through mobile wallets.
But this is a usat board. usat is not in the business of processing those transactions. usat is in the business of processing small ticket items mostly through vending machines and whether those transactions occur because the buyer swipes a card, a phone, or even used a fingerprint doesn't matter because they only get one transaction.
If you move the payment method from one to another usat doesn't make more money. Actually, I'm guessing most of, or a great many of, the eports aren't even capable of handling a mobile wallet transaction so the more people turn towards mobile wallets, the more business usat will lose or the more money they will have to spend to upgrade their hardware already in the field.
All of these macro events in mobile cashless payments have nothing to do with usat. The company has no involvement in any of it and it will also not help to carry the company with it. Actually, the more companies that get involved with cashless the less usat has to offer.

Year before that?

I wish they would make Pocono part of the chase.
Although I may be alone in that wish.

Didn't someone on here not believe the BS about profits? Hmmmmm
