Derf,
I wish I listened to this guy once in awhile!
REMINDERS
(By Jim Bishop)
Reminders for myself, in no particular order. Some of the lines are mine, many are gleaned from others.
BEFORE buying, use the TGL checklist, or make your own DD checklist, and follow it!
Learn some money management/allocation. The only sure way I know of, for guaranteeing you will be able to trade tomorrow..........is having CASH available to do so. Don't put all your eggs in one basket.
Don't chase it up. Get it, when it drops back, simply because, THEY ALWAYS DROP BACK, they HAVE to, it is just part of the mechanics of the market maker system, and of course, the inevitable profit taking, and if you aren't taking profits relentlessly, then what the hell are you doing here?
In my humble but useless opinion, the open, and the first 1/2 hour or more, are for SELLING, not buying. Be patient. If it's a gapper and you are not in yet, don't be the bozo giving the gifts to those in the day before. WAIT!
Market order?? It just ain't in my vocabulary. Unless you enjoy getting hosed.
If you have not read books on how the MM system works, I suggest that you do so, ASAP. "The Electronic Day Trader" is one decent one IMO.
If you haven't already, learn at least some rudimentary T/A Go to http://www.clearstation.com to the education section also Big Charts. http://www.bigcharts.com and learn to set up the interactive charts.
A great site, with a learning area, simulators, and much more, is http://www.rookiedaytrader.com
Control greed, learn discipline, set reasonable targets, and stick to them. Ya right, if it breaks xxx it's gone, sure Jim, sure...
ALWAYS reduce risk/reward at the first opportunity. That may mean selling 1/3 or 1/2 a long way from the top, but I'd rather protect my investment, and live to play again, than just slowly let the original pile erode.
A profitable trade, is a good trade.
Get out, when you CAN, not when you HAVE to.
Stocks move in the path of least resistance. If it is hard to buy, it is
going higher, if it's hard to sell, oooops it may be too late, and you're a STUCKHOLDER
When you have what you want, take it and run, and don't look back. Don't wait, for the market to take it back.
NEVER let a winner, turn into a loser. But we all do, why? Think about it, one answer, always....GREED!
NOBODY wins all the time. Learn to take your losses, EARLY, don't let them grow, until it's too late.
A big gap up, in the morning, is a gift, ACCEPT ALL GIFTS. Sell into strength. Then buy it back later, on a shake or walkdown if you wish.
MM's biggest trick - making stocks look their best, before they make them move.... in the opposite direction.
Over time, there is only one thing that always works, and that is, dance with what the market likes and make sure you are dancing close to the door.
Volume precedes price.
As long as there is volume, and volatility, $$ can be made, bear or bull.
Timing - all stocks go up eventually, but all stocks also go down, eventually. If you are jumping on those with news, playing the momo's, etc.
I strongly suggest you sit in one of the live java based chats, of course I'm swayed to our own TGL LIVE http://www.tgllive.com, but there are other good ones.
Derf,
Here's the latest picture of Bailey!
http://photos.yahoo.com/bc/susie924/vwp?.dir=/puppies&.src=ph&.dnm=Bailey.jpg&.view=t&am....
You know where to reach me, if you like
People are gonna think that's the truth!
I'll probably just watch you in action with your picks. I might even try a few of them.
Isn't the end of the year a good time to pick up some bargains?
I have a feeling I will be intimidated by you over here.
Now I'm not sure where the board is headed! Should I tell the DUGOUT guys about it or will that make things too complicated????
Nice to "see" you Anna! I guess I'm not the only one that missed the big lug!
I guess we now know where this board is headed!
Why do we have to behave ourselves???????? That's no fun at all!
Is this only about stocks or is it a Banman's II?
I passed the word over on RB.
Let's see if anyone (besides me!) has missed you!
Susie
I musta missed that one Derfie. So much goes on that I can't remember it all!
Derf, Did you read this?
(CBS) A recent survivor episode featured the wife of contestant Brian Heidik.
She made a very different appearance Monday morning in a California courtroom, facing misdemeanor charges for attacking her husband last month. CBS News Correspondent Vince Gonzales reports for The Early Show.
Charmaine "C.C." Heidik allegedly "punched him [her husband] in the nose while he was sleeping" on their couch. She was arrested and spent two days in jail.
This was not the first controversy involving Heidik. In August, before "Survivor" hit the airwaves, it was revealed that Heidik and his wife had appeared together in soft-core pornography films.
CBS said they knew about Heidik's past including his roles in movies such as “Passion Cove” and “The Virgins of Sherwood Forest.”
Heidik told police after the attack that his wife had assaulted him in the past and he plans to file for divorce. Last month, she was ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from her husband at all times, except in the court room. But at Monday's hearing, Brian Heidik was a no-show.
“The people are having a little trouble finding the victim in this case, Brian Heidik,” says defense attorney Fredric Gagliardini.
The case was continued until Tuesday and even if authorities can't find him, “We all know where he's going to be Thursday,” says prosecutor Richard Quinones.
Prosecutors say if they have to, they'll try to contact Heidik when he appears at CBS for the “Survivor” finale Thursday night.
If found guilty, Charmaine Heidik could face up to one year in prison.
Huck, I know you can't post today but maybe tomorrow or else on the PCBM1 board.
What's this case with Vince and Kim about? I think this is the first I've heard of it.

Part II - Allied Waste Industries news stuff.
BFI merged with Allied Waste Industries in July 1999, creating a $12-Billion/year international family of 8,000 trash-hauling Teamsters, 350 trash companies, 160 landfills (flammable poison gas, toxic ground water, radiation), incinerators (dioxin, radiation and carcenogens), offshore dumps, medical wastes (infectious diseases), 75 scrap-metal dealers (salvage-titled vehicles), human-feces fertilzers for food crops (Soylent Brown), a couple fartgas refineries (aka "green energy"), electric/water/sewage utilities (aka "government" monopolies), communications outlets and several properties closed down by the Environmental Protection Agency.
In August, 2000, Allied Waste Industries, owner/partner of BFI, officially merged with Waste Management Industries (WM) of Houston, TX, burying the illusion of competitive pricing in the Knoxville area. Previously in certain markets, BFI and Waste Management publicly agreed to stop "competing" with each other, after US Department of Justice caught them hogging the monopoly money. Waste Management previously bought out SCA Services for $423-million, a company alleged by witnesses testifying under oath to have murdered two of its competitors in New York and New Jersey.
And, this one (1999) -
NEW JERSEY: Recent news reports have linked, Benny Villani, 61, a partner in commercial property and Allied Waste Industries to the Genovese crime family.
According to reports, Vallani, of Upper Saddle River, New Jersey, was described in 1996 by federal officials as an associate of the Genovese crime family.
Allied Waste Industries leases property in New Jersey, for 1.2 million a year, from the Tremley Point partnership, which is said to include Vallani, who was banned from the New York City waste industry over alleged links to the Genovese mob.
Allied Waste is negotiating with New York on a contract to handle approximately 12,000 tons of trash a day that the city wants to ship to out-of-state landfills.
The contract, worth more than $100 million a year, would be one of the largest trash contracts in the U.S.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Now, I ain't going any further in this looking. Just stuff I found linked to the parent company, from which, there was a spin-off, in which, a former Locastro partner is a director. I just hope it isn't related to the "safe shares" originally through Arnoni into this company. Or, any additional shares (if so) that have been released.

fung via Susie - I have looked. For outlandish reasoning since I had no idea what exactly to look for, I got the following. BTW - I didn't go in depth with the officers/directors.

All of this together brings in good money. They just have a lot "outgoing" also. Total assets ~$60mil. with net operating revenues of ~$77mil. in 2001. And with this, the stock is currently trading (not many trades) at ~$2.00 with a fairly low O/S.
So, i just started looking for news stuff, not filings, on the company it spun-off from, interesting. Lycos hasn't been good about letting me post sites so I will begin again on another post. It seems to limit amount now also.
OT Derfy,
Remember AETH? I know I owned it for awhile but I don't remember if you told me about it or if I told you about it? I'm curious as to what you think of it now? There are rumors flying about it.
Derf,
Here is Huck's response.

edit: I forgot that you can read RB and you probably already saw it!
Well.....hello stranger!!!!
I will do that right now if you want!
Someone from RB needed to see that but I couldn't post it on RB so I posted it here.
Now, if I could get people to move here!

Subject: just got off the phone with vince..........
he said they had eight inches of snow yesterday and it was cold.i
asked him or told him that around 220 million shares of pcbm have
been traded in the last few days with no bid or ask change and asked
him to comment,,,,,,,,,he said he does not watch the stock price as
it is a joke and will only make you sick to view it.he says they are
trading it like pcbm is a bankrupt company.....we are not he
said..STERNLY.in fact we are just as profitable if not more so when
the stock was trading at 30 cents.HE ALSO SAID,not that it matters to
me although after jan 27 he could sell 5% of his stock every 90
days.......but he is here to grow the business long term and not
worry about the short term stock price.lastly,he said we will get
resolution....also talked about a new location in a mall so his car
sales could not be weather hindered.nice guy to speak with and seemed
confident.
never mind
Thanks Bob!
I hope people don't mind me playing here. I will go to the "test" board from now on. I figured the market is closed so it's not so bad.
BTW, does it work everywhere???
Susie

How'd you do that!
Bernard,
I don't get a chance to take advantage of the OTC BB Pulse picks as often as I would like but I do look at them everyday.
I just want to thank you for all that you have done in the past and I hope that you can come up with a solution that will work out best for you.
Good luck Bernard!
Susie
Thanks Bernard & Greg.
Maybe it's the full moon! (or was that last night?)
Bernard, I wasn't trying to say that you gave me a virus. I'm really sorry if it looked that way.
I have been having a ton of problems with my computer tonight and I thought maybe I had a virus that kept making the e-mail repeat itself!
I'm sorry!!!!
Susie
Has anyone else received the e-mail more than once that you know of? My computer is acting really weird tonight and I tried running a virus scan but the scan shut down right in the middle!
Hey Bernard, How are you?
I know I haven't been to the chat lately on Wednesday nights but you don't have to keep sending me the e-mail over and over!!! LOL
Seriously, I have gotten the e-mail about last night's chat 5 times already. (once yesterday and four times so far today)
I'm just checking with you to see if there is a glitch somewhere or else I think I might have to run a virus check if it's something on my side.
Susie
Bernard,
I just went to the "live" chat and no one was there!!!!! It took me a few minutes to realize that it's only TUESDAY!!!!!!
I guess I was a little bit overanxious!
BTW I tried to get a quote on MCSO and it said it was changed to AMDR but I couldn't get a quote on either of them?
Maybe I should just go to bed. I'm not too sharp tonight!!
Susie
Edit: I see the ticker change takes effect tomorrow so I guess right now Yahoo doesn't recognize either one of them.
MCSO will forward split the common stock on a 5 for 1 basis, change name to Ameri-Dream Entertainment Inc and change symbol to AMDR effective June 5, 2002.
Bernard,
Thanks for having the live chat last night. It was great to see "evil Bernard" in action!
Susie
I don't know what any of this really means, but the price of TEIL sure has gone up since December.

Thanks Chris! Happy Holidays to you too!
Susie
alexed, PCBM is late with their 10Q. From what I have heard, since they are on the pinks they are not required to file but how does it effect their chance of ever getting relisted?
Susie
chrisb, I don't know whether to thank you or curse you! The test was good because it took my mind off of the events of the past week, but by the 4th part I was getting such a headache!
I pretty much threw in the towel by then and ended up with a score of 111. I guess I'm not as smart as I thought I was.
Susie
You passed.
Sorry Matt, I don't mean to drive you crazy! Just joking around with ya!
I've been known to push the wrong buttons before!
Thanks Matt
test It works!
LOL, I didn't know that I was well known! Are you mixing up Susie's?
While you are here, I was having trouble making something bold.
Is this like RB (sorry) where you can't put something bold or italicized in the first line?
TIA
Susie
Do you mean, I can't buy a chocolate glazed and a large coffee here?
Sheesh!
I'll have one chocolate glazed and a large coffee to go please.
