Is it common for a stock to be halted for such an extended period of time as it is today? Seems like a long halt!
"The party of nope" - perfect! I've been calling the people of "nope" our earthquake - Limbaugh, Beck, Cheney, Coulter, Rove - the 5 nopes who have created a spectacular earthquake in our country - and have caused nice Americans to admire their utterly ruthless spin.. And what a mess they've made. I'm with you and Zab.

More details on iPad as orders begin
Silicon Valley / San Jose Business Journal

Apple began taking orders Friday for its iPad tablet computer and revealed a few more details on how it works.
Apple Inc. released more details about its new iPad as it started taking orders for the tablet computer on Friday.
Customers are initially being limited to two iPads per person, with pre-order deliveries coming on April 3, the same day the iPad hits store shelves.
Only the versions with just Wi-Fi, starting at $499, will be delivered on that date with the 3G version that starts at $629 coming later in the month.
One detail that Apple outlined Friday on its Web site concerns the AT&T Inc. data plan. Users who sign up for the $15-per-month, 250-megabyte plan will see a warning on their screen when they are nearing their data limit. They will get the option of adding more data at that time, as well.
Unlimited data plans cost $30 per month and unlike the iPhone users don't have commit to a lengthy contract for service.
Apple also said the iBook app won't come loaded on the computer but will available as a free download from the App store.
A few details were released about how the iBook app will work, too. Among these are that it remembers where you left off reading and if you touch and hold a word the iPad will look up the meaning for you. VoiceOver screen-reading technology will read any page aloud, as well.
One feature that owners of iPhones might applaud is that a screen rotation lock switch has been added so that a user can prevent the iPad's accelerometer from automatically rotating the screen.

Today let’s look at Dendreon Corp. (DNDN), the #1 cancer vaccine biotech company, from a Technical POV. The overall indications, after Tuesday’s (March 2) market action, are Bullish: in the near term Very Bullish mid-term Bullish, and long term Very Bullish. The recent Candle Stick analysis is: Neutral
So some lucky dog picked up shares at 28.56! Looks like it's moving back up...
Thanks for posting the info. Where is it from? I don't see any news on DNDN this morning.
Bought it after hours today...finally!
thanks...an interesting interview
When Zeev was alive we used to joke that "today is a good day to catch Bin Laden". The markets need a fix and I can't think of anything to help it other than making that good "catch"! Actually, even that might not help the market outlook....
glad it hasn't broken 40. yet. maybe the slide is a bit overdone? i still think it's a buy...
I sure hope it has a longer charge life than my iphone. that could be its downfall.

Have a great time Jerry!!
We'll keep an eye on RMBS for ya. Bottom line? Do you think it will come out with flying colors?
So you argue with me about Ratigan and then you beat my buy of BAC! Just kidding. Good luck on it and let's hope it goes to 25 bucks.
Bought some BAC today...good buy right now...16.40
He'll be one to go if Obama feels the need to purge - only because the public pressure will force him into it - in my opinion. We do things like go to war over public pressure and impatience.
Hey Jer,
Too funny! I listened to that whole Dylan Ratigan rant. He needs to calm down. Maybe he didn't buy in on the March 9th low...
T
Maybe, but I am so done with tv commentators who invite guests to their show to discuss an issue and then interrupt them so much they never get their point made. We can't learn much from that except rude behavior is alive and acceptable in America...and we sure do know how to sway an audience if we yell, use derogatory comments, and interrupt enough.
SEOUL, South Korea (AP) -- South Koreans got their first taste of the iPhone on Saturday as the multifunctional communication and entertainment device made its long awaited debut in one of the world's most technologically sophisticated societies.
Yay! You're still on the planet! How is it we worry about people in cyberspace...people we don't really know...? Good luck with your business endeavors op.
n
The lack of "change" started long before the last election.
I asked Lee on Zeev's board the same thing a while back. I used to chat with Op about QLGC - for years - and then all of a sudden he's gone. It's not like him and I've been concerned too. If you find out anything, please let me know.
Thanks
I hope that's all it is!
ALL of my stocks are up - all but QCOM. It seems tired.
lol - thanks so much. i should have known this!
what is WTG?
BAC: sold (on your advice), bought, sold, bought - hold??
FCX: rockin'!!
lol - no! i'm not a day trader in your sense of the word. should i pull the trigger? how low will it go?
Love those commodities - FCX expecially.
Do you get feeling that the market is setting us up for a pullback tomorrow?
BAC!!! NOW it's a monster! OMG!
Love that BAC! How far does it go??
Ok, thanks to you too. Zeev would have knocked this subject down the block Mon. - Fri. So, as we say in San Diego when there is a need to change the subject, "How about them Padres"!
Obama's Kenyan birth....this is SO important! Can you imagine if all Americans spent nanoseconds caring about this?
Issues that likely deserve a nanosecond before the Kenyan birth nanosecond:
education
environment
health and welfare of children and seniors
jobs (oh, I don't know - maybe this isn't so important...)
national debt
But arilau, smoking gun away! Obama's birth is of utmost importance.
b of a popping over 9$
thanks jerry! i researched and bought bac yesterday based on your mention of it here. though it's up, i wonder if i should buy more right about now?
what's up with qlgc op? you're the eyes and ears of the little q.
I'd definitely be in your "room" if I didn't have a full time job as a teacher. I made my entire month's salary with these trades - in just a few weeks. Thanks so much Jerry!!! You did your part for educators - you should get a tax write off for it!
jerry - your advice saved the day for me yesterday. i sold apple and fcx at a great profit. i'm not good at selling - but I did it!! thanks for sharing your understanding of the markets.
