That is very enlightening. Six years of massive profits using UOIP's patents. Billions upon billions of dollars made without paying a single penny to the rightful owner of the technology. HUGE.
Fat finger trade. They happen from time to time and get corrected.
Your second possibility is what I expect to see. We will wake up one morning with a completed buyout and huge chunk of change sitting in our accounts. The defendants are playing the long game, hoping to exhaust UOIP's resources by dragging the litigation out. What they did not count on was UOIP having deep pockets and fighting the legal challenges to the very end. We are almost there. The big boys will capitulate soon, and someone will buy this company. If not, I look forward to settlement money and years of licensing fees. Either way, we win. The technology belongs to UOIP.
The right news would cause a massive squeeze here.
You're just thinking about settlements, though. Even after a settlement, we still own the technology that puts the world on the internet! This stock is absolutely HUGE. It should see royalties and licensing fees for years, or possibly be bought out for billions.
And all of your figures will be x3 if we get treble damages, which is a legitimate possibility! I know my posts about treble damages come off a bit pumper-ish, but I have been here for a long time and am in no hurry to sell. No flipping, I'm in it to win it.
If we get treble damages, this becomes truly INSANE. I'm so glad to see this finally getting the attention it deserves. We were the early ones. Now, the party gets started.
Silver can come quickly here.
Big things happening. I wish I had more powder! This is ready to explode into silver.
Of course there is always the chance that things don't work out as hoped. That said, UOIP is a NO BRAINER because of the massive upside compared to the very minimal downside. With multiple court actions in our favor, the upside is looking very, very good here. If you want absolute guaranteed gains, savings accounts are the place for that. Stocks always have a chance of not working out. This one has a very good chance of working out massively. No other stock in the OTC has the potential of UOIP. Not a single one. This is the penny stock investors dream about.
That is the reason I dumped them and moved to Etrade. I can't stand a broker who insists on holding my hand.
I'm really not sure what difference it makes if a foreign broker no longer offers trading in UOIP. It is trading in the USA, where it is located, and that is all that matters. Speculating about why it is or isn't trading outside the USA has nothing to do with the company's health and status in its home country. It sounds like anyone trading in Canada needs to find a broker who offers UOIP. There is nothing more to this story than that.
Anyone who is so easily scared into selling will definitely regret it later. This one has so much upside.
This company's patents are the backbone of the internet. $1-$3 is not laughable at all. If the IP had been licensed properly, the company would be worth much more than that. Those committing infringement don't get to simply throw a small amount at UOIP and tell them to go away. UOIP is due a huge amount of damages for this theft.
No capital gains? You may wanna recheck the laws before heading off to prison :)
The story here does not involve earnings or current market caps. It is all about the stolen IP and whether or not you think the court will give this company the revenue that has been stolen from it. Most of us here believe the court will find in UOIP's favor and allow the company to claim a portion of the money that has been made using its IP. If you do not feel the same, it is obviously not the stock for you.
We have differing opinions of what is possible, and that is okay. I'm of the opinion that $6 is a very top end estimate, and $2 is a much more likely outcome. It all comes down to treble damages. If we get them, the sky truly is the limit. $2 is almost a certainty, in my opinion.
The violations of the IP equal billions upon billions of dollars. Treble damages may come into play. Damages of a couple billion dollars would put this north of $1, and treble damages take it over $3. Factor in a short squeeze and it could get epic. If noobs are scared off by discussion of real possibilities, it is their loss.
I've opened several eyes to this beauty today. I've been trying for a long time, but the recent developments and price action finally got some people to come around. Look for more buying soon!
Yes! It is nice to see someone else who fully gets it. This is not a stock to be flipped for 10x or even 100x gains. It is a multi-dollar stock.
I love the way all of that sounds. We have them bent over, now it's time to make them cough up the dough.
Let's just hope we don't pick up "the chartist." Kiss of death, right there.
I can't help but laugh at all of the people who are so shortsighted here. If getting to a penny is your only goal, you are underestimating this stock in a BIG way. I'm in this for the big payoff, and have been for a very long time.
2018 is shaping up to be our year.
There is nothing false about Pacer documents.
So, how many are ready for $1+ per share? Treble damages are going to be the key play here.
So, you support the use of patents by those who have no right to them?
This is why I expect a Cisco buyout.
Cisco would be wise to make an offer. Why pay hundreds of millions in damages when that money is better used to buy the company for a couple of billion?
Anyone who thinks my numbers are a joke would be wise to look at the patents in question. We're talking about the backbone of the internet.
MASSIVE settlement coming. The patents involved here are hugely fundamental to the workings of the internet as most of us know it. This is no small potatoes case. Cisco's best bet is to buy UOIP for a huge sum of money. Personally, I think that ship has sailed and UOIP will play the long game of getting damages and then licensing the patents to others.
I have been long here for a long time, and I have always seen this as worth dollars. When some here talk about a run to .02 or .03, I laugh. Look at the larger picture. This is a retirement play.
Settlement = DOLLARS
I believe we are ready to see things concluded to everyone's satisfaction here :)
Squint and look at the chart between 1130 and 1230. It literally says "pump."
That PR was classic pumper fluff. Complete garbage.
Down this POS goes. This one was as predictable as it gets.
I'd bet money the PR was nothing more than a ploy to dump that huge chunk of shares.
It has nothing to do with missing cheaper shares. I was prepared to pay .002 if a good PR hit. As it is, I'll pass.
I've been watching today and that PR is pitiful. Anyone can set up an office space with mining equipment. What is the mining equipment? A Dell XPS from 2005 running XP? There is no mention of the size and scope of the operation. Pure pump = Sure dump.
She looks ready, finally.
Chart says bounce happens today.
