Netlist Strengthens Memory Partnership with Validation on 2nd Generation AMD EPYC™ Processors
IRVINE, Calif., Nov. 6, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Netlist, Inc. (OTCQX: NLST) today announced the successful validation of its NVMe SSDs and its NVvault® DDR4 NVDIMM-N on the 2nd Generation AMD EPYC processors.
Netlist's NVMe SSD performance and latency had best-in-class results when benchmarked using the 2nd Gen AMD EPYC processors against other leading SSD makers. In addition, AMD validated Netlist's NVDIMM-N solution on the 2nd Gen EPYC processor and found full functional system and power loss compatibility in memory configurations.
C.K. Hong, Netlist Chief Executive Officer, said, "We have a long-standing relationship with AMD and are pleased to support their latest generation platform with our SSD and NVDIMM memory solutions. Our solutions deliver high performance, and provide significant value to end users in the enterprise and data center market."
"Netlist is a valued member of our partner ecosystem," said Raghu Nambiar, corporate vice president and chief technical officer, Datacenter Ecosystems & Application Engineering, AMD. "The industry leading performance of the 2nd Gen AMD EPYC combined with improved performance and latency of Netlist's NVMe SSDs, and DDR4 NVDIMM-N have demonstrated exceptional performance and value for enterprise applications."
Netlist's family of enterprise NVMe SSDs bring a compelling mix of high performance at lower cost, compared to competitive solutions. These enterprise and datacenter class drives are available in 800GB to 15.36TB, 1 and 3 DWPDs (Drive Writes Per Day), and are supported in the U.2, AIC HHHL, and M.2 form factors.
Netlist's NVvault DDR4 is an NVDIMM-N that provides data acceleration and protection in a JEDEC standard DDR4 interface. By combining the high performance of DDR4 DRAM with the non-volatility of NAND Flash, NVvault improves the performance and data preservation found in storage virtualization, RAID, cache protection, and data logging applications requiring high-throughput.
Then I would hope some of those billions would be paid out to shareholders in form of dividend.
If $100B is agreed on Googie pays cash at the agreement signing. No cash no agreement!
Too I am thinking about how Google saves face. That is if netlist allows it to do so.
I do think 100B is owed to NetList however it comes.
My thoughts come from the agreement with SK Hynix where the patents are shared. Here Google and NetList would share the 912.
But it would seem that Google would have to sue netlist in order to stop netlist from using the 912 which google had agreed. Netlist would not be getting the 912 from google. I don’t see a problem.
Googie needs access to our 912 patent badly. So I could see NetList selling the 912 to googie say for $100B but NetList continues access/usage of the 912 in their products at no cost to NetList.
Buyout? Baloney money!
Great idea. Hope someone will too.
ETSY yes but watch NLST soon
I wish the company would open up a little bit more about the battery. I think we can all see that there are many applications. Being an investor I don’t Think the company has sold(provided detailed build and operation) that battery like they should to investors. Wish they would make a video explaining its build, ruggedness, capabilities, etc. I want to be sold on the battery.
Yes that is where I got that
When it is time to buy, buy, don’t talk
China was the dominant country for mining bitcoin for years.
In fact, over 75% of all bitcoin mining happened in China back in September 2019. At the time, only 4.1% of mining took place in the U.S.
China’s dominance did gradually decline over time, but it was still standing at nearly 52% in February of this year. That’s significant because any party that captures 51% or more of bitcoin’s mining power could potentially manipulate transactions on the blockchain.
For this reason, the concentration of mining in China posed an existential threat to bitcoin.
Fortunately for the Bitcoin ecosystem, China banned all cryptocurrency mining within its borders in September. That’s why China’s market share suddenly dropped to zero.
And China’s ban led to an explosion of bitcoin mining in the U.S. Today, 35.4% of all bitcoin mining takes place in the U.S. That leads the world.
Well, I see much has changed on this board, the major posters gone. But nothing has changed on MRKR, as I predicted. Now as it get's closer to $1 I will consider purchase.
Oh? Like what?
Energy supply shortage today - TPII battery will play a part in the energy needs in coming years. Energy industry is one of the best industries to be invested in.
Only certain Brokerages allow trading of OTC stocks.
Yes, risky. Do they want all their skeletons revealed to the public?
I doubt the court system deals in over 50% of crime now. There will always be the outlaws to deal with. Always has!
Maybe the judge request an extension for himself? Lol
Appreciate you goforthebet
The Charge On Innovation Challenge is a global competition under the patronage of 17 mining companies from around the world (including of the 3 largest: BHP, Rio Tinto, and Vale). The competition aims to electrify mining trucks which will help the mining sector worldwide reduce its consumption of diesel fuel and significantly cut emissions. These trucks are the largest in the world and carry loads up to 360 tons with 3m diameter tires, and will require400KWh of electric power per cycle. They are used in open-cast mines all over the world (from polar to tropical regions), work in extreme conditions, and transport billions of tons of excavated material, ores metals, potassium, and other raw materials. The electrification of the world's largest ultra-class trucks is an enormous engineering and material challenge. Until now, there has been no technology that would allow the construction of electric power systems and the rapid charging of such huge machines in a reasonable time. Companies from all over the world were invited to submit offers and a deadline was set for July 31, 2021. The motivation is not only savings and increasing the efficiency of mining operations, but also the growing concern for the natural environment and the fight against global warming.
Adding here
A zero turn mower with a TPI battery would work for me.
Hard to say. I think another order announcement will kick off a run.
There are a number of unknowns about Triad Pro, but at this price the possible rewards are much greater than the risk.
Day 1 of 30 consecutive days in order to uplift. Hopefully news coming that supports this possibility.
Chart looking good
Yes, nice volume
Yep, I was part of that, but couldn’t load up all I wanted under .29
Hong didn’t hire Sheasby to settle for peanuts!
TP no doubt is expecting some large orders. I don’t think this is hype!
If they have a “few large po’s” why not reveal their amounts?
If course now the concern is financing.
Then, we’re talking dollers not cents
.20 will be nothing if $100k+ order or above.
