CDC Report - BFD, the big pharma's are making billions and they could only hope you become addicted and want more of their products - they simply don't give a flying fudge about your health or well being. Follow the money - $60+ billion dollar pain business annually.
And . . . our wonderful FDA allows this as well as continues to 'approve' more of these dangerous drugs because they are in bed with big pharma. Just recently the head of the FDA overruled her own
health advisory committee to approve and release yet another painkiller Zohydro of which the side effects make you cringe - 50mg of hydrocodone.
Now the FDA is trumpeting their approval of a hard-to-abuse painkiller - a wolf in sheep's clothing?
And really . . . how many painkillers do we need in the marketplace?
We have a 'tiny' company with a technology that can change the face of pain treatments, yet as always money and greed get in the way. So what do you think the motivation of the FDA director was to approve a drug her own health advisory counsel disapproved of? Who talked to her? What was she promised? The sad thing is this goes on all the time with the FDA, as they simply remain the tool of big pharma and big drug companies. Chronic pain is a $60B a year industry for the big boys, and now this pip squeak of a company comes along with this innovative solution. People are dying each and every day from the products/drugs these companies produce, and they simply don't care as the money rolls in each and every day. The pressure to crush, defer, delay this technology has to be enormous as companies stand to lose billions if this is approved and gets onto shelves in the U.S.
Overdue . . . they can delay and make excuses forever when the puppet masters are pulling the strings. jm2¢
Hurdles to get over.
1 - Federal Delay Agency approving PEMF technology.
2 - Team Biel has their sheet together for the 510K app
3 - Federal Delay Agency approves 510K/marketing approval.
As you know we are already seeing delay, defer, do nothing in #1
There never seems to be a fixed timeline to produce a decision. They are simply not accountable to anyone . . . oops, except the rodents that run and rule DC. And those creatures when bathed, clothed, and feed are the ultimate whoes as we well know.
We have a lot to overcome. jm2¢
G - The single most important thing 'Team Biel' could do would be to announce a collaboration with a major pharma/drug company, if and when the FDA gets off their azz. This would validate and add enormous credibility to the company and their products - which in turn gets wall streets attention, i.e. PPS buying power. jm2¢
Zogenix - please check out the 'warnings section' for Zohydro ER. This is a product for 'severe pain' which needs to be taken every day. Can you spell 'addiction'
*Zohydro ER exposes users to risks of addiction, abuse, and misuse, which can lead to overdose and death. Assess each paitents risk before prescribing, and monitor reglarly for development of these behaviors or conditions. And the bullet points go on . . .
Yes . . . folks - this got approved by the FDA.
http://www.zogenix.com/content/products/zohydro.htm
Simpsonly - Here is an example of 'how in the world did this get approved' AGAINST the recommendation of its own medical advisors. Our FDA chief, Dr. Margaret Hamburg, somehow saw it fitting to approve and allow this painkiller called Zohydro to get to market. You can let your mind wonder about 'corruption' and big pharma in this scenario as to whose pockets got lined. I agree that the soldiers are not the problem necessarily, but the indian chiefs are. Just freaking sad that the world has ANOTHER painkiller to take that I am sure has multiple side effects. jm2¢

¢Both my wife and I have used this product for back pain and it is amazing. What normally has taken 5-7 days to recover is 2-3 with ActiPatch.- 50% faster. Only thing standing in front of this companies success . . . the FDA!!! Big Pharma does not want a tiny little company like BIEL to succeed and will pull out all stops to delay or prevent it from getting into stores. In my opinion they are still one of the most corrupt agencies in our government - the henchmen of BIG PHARMA. >JM2¢<
I think you been sipping a little too much damn yam vodka. LOL
The 'single' best thing ole Andy could do for the pps would be to announce a collaboration with a major pharma once the FDA gets off their azzes . . . oh what wishful thinking. jm2¢
Does FDA stand for 'Further Delays Available' at a price or favor. Lots of companies do not want these products on shelves. I know Simpsonly you have a much higher regard for them than I. They will continue to be the puppet controlled by big pharma IMO. Little companies with 'great products' are not allowed to succeed in their world. So they are bought out for peanuts or bled dry and simply die. Is the later scenario playing out. jm2¢
Oxymoron - FDA and professional. You are right about Team Biel having ample time to get their act together knowing full well what is required in a 510K. But then again we have to have the infamous FDA actually deliver on their part.
Yankee55 - nice deal for Annie's.
I personally hope Andy follows more of the Arena Pharma deal where they partnered and licensed geographical areas to Eisai Pharma for huge milestone payments and royalties. For that, Eisai became responsible for sales, marketing, distribution, and admin, while Arena produced the product and sold it to Eisai. Arena developed a novel weight-loss drug called Belviq.
A tiny company like BIEL needs to tap into the muscle a major pharma can bring to the party with their massive distribution channels, financial muscle, marketplace influence, and potential R&D. This is about grabbing the 'golden ring' and dominating the market first. Eventually Andy can sell out and retire knowing he got this technology to market and it became a huge success.
The pain management category is estimated to grow to $60B annually by 2015. Enough said.
jm2¢
Pain management market to grow to $60B a year. Great technology that works with no side effects.
What is that worth?

Simsonly - I have owned since before '09 and saw it run and sold 1/2. After it dropped and the boards were overrun by creepy crawlers for years, I simply gave up reading the board and viewed my ownership as a long-term 'potential' lottery ticket stuck in a safe. About a month ago I dropped in to view this board to see what the chatter was and read some intelligent comments from people like yourself who believe the glass is half full. I will continue to stay around and comment from time to time now. I believe in this technology so much as my family and I have had first hand experiences of what it can do, i.e., rolled ankles, knee sprain, back issues, and etc. I recommend it constantly to friends, family, neighbors and co-workers when they talk about health problems. Some respond others look at you cross-eyed. As the saying goes . . . you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink. LOL
art2426
A - This is the best healing device I have ever owned or tried - 50% increase in healing {own 3}
B - FDA is nothing more than the 'police force' for big pharma - read the book 'Knockout'
C - Big pharma {pill pushers} will lose millions, if not billions when this technology reaches the consumer.
D - The FDA banned the sale of DMSO, and labeled it a solvent because they could not patent it.
E - The FDA has shut down alternative doctors who use DMSO and small doses of chemo to cure cancer. Research DMSO if you don't know about it.
F - Pressure is mounting {on FDA} for PEMF technology to be acknowledged and approved as they can no longer plead innocent and look the other way.
E - I am hoping BIEL wins in this battle, but some company eventually will.
Just know that people in this country and all over the world are deprived of new wonderful technologies - suffer and die because of the 'greed' of the big pharma's and their regulatory stooges.
jm2¢
Thanks Simpsonly for the response - the wild card in this scenario is a 'supposed' arrangement with a big pharma. Andy would be very smart to cut a deal and let someone with marketing muscle drive the distribution, marketing and sales. Step back and collect milestone payments and royalties and not let his ego get in the way. I am not sure when a deal like that would be announced, i.e., after reclassification, filing an application, or getting FDA approval. A strong partner could certainly help with getting the application moved through the process and approved. Again there is an advantage of using someone else's muscle - money and contacts. jm2¢
Open for discussion, and I am sure this subject has been talked about before. BIEL at one time closed in the .12¢ range with pending FDA chatter. That was of course many moons ago and here we are with the FDA finally looking like they may reclassify this technology. So my questions are . . .
What does the PPS get to with just reclassification alone?
Where does it go if FDA approval is granted - and how likely is that with the relationship that Andy and the FDA have had in the past? Reclassification is one thing, but approval is another.
I know we have seen continued dilution and I am sure we have twice as many shares outstanding.
There seem to be several board contributors that have a handle on this company, and I would appreciate anyones thoughts.
BTW, I have owned three different patches and they are fantastic in cutting healing time in half.
ddls - unless you have used one of their products and seen the results like I have - then STFU.
This is an amazing technology and the devices work as my wife's back can attest, or my daughters
rolled ankle, or my son's knee. 50% faster healing with no side effects. As for me, I suffer from IBS and use the back patch to relieve the pain. POS is very fitting for you.
Could not agree MORE - they cannot stop the public vote, so they are using every means possible to limit and stifle the growth of these MJ companies. Dittman on the other hand has to respond to these allegations and reassure shareholders that there is nothing wrong as soon as possible. He also has to tread carefully and not p*ss off the SEC with his comments. Dittman has a financial background and should readily know the consequences of issuing misleading information - which I am not sure he has ever done. Certainly the halting of PHO* should have sent a clear message to Scott about being a public MJ company and the power of the SEC. Is this being done because of their association with PHO*? We of course will take a hit because of all this bull sheet from this agency regardless. Lets go Scott - get your lawyers and accountants to respond ASAP, because time lag creates doubt. jm2¢
It still amazes me how closed minded some legislators are to the use and benefits of MEDICAL marijuana. Yet, it would only take one of their own family members to have a condition that would be helped and improved by MMJ to 'suddenly' sway their opinion. The medical benefits of marijuana have been known for 50+ years and the big pharmas along with their sleeping partner (FDA) have managed to keep this from the public and out of the hands of those that could benefit with severe health issues. Greed and political agendas always trump peoples lives - how sad. A Canadian by the name of Rick Simpson first documented his own health issue and did a video on distilling THC to an oil and the huge benefits he had by taking 1 drop per day. You can view this video on Google - 'Run from the Cure.' The ironic part is that Rick attempted to have MMJ legalized in Canada years ago, but was thrown out of the country for continuing to grow, distill, and offer it to friends who had severe health issues. Now Canada is at the forefront of MMJ - LOL jm2¢
If this splits 7:1 and is in the 80 range, I think it will climb over 100 fairly quickly as new investors enter the picture at the lower price. The 500-700 range is only for the big boys to toy with. jm2¢
Q1 should see the company move to profitability with some of the orders they received. A fully compliant company and move to a different exchange tier will be good. Also new orders and expansion would be welcome if they were of a major size like that container park, or a contract out of Uruguay. Certainly as more states get involved with MMJ, the demand for these pods will grow and the ability to supply units will be extremely important. Laying the infrastructure is super important with sales offices and production facilities. jm2¢
MMJ is the easiest route to take for states as it provides the most tax revenue and is less risky than RMJ. There is a lot more oversight and control with MMJ. BTW - ex-Ohio boy also.
That is why you may see some consolidation in this area as demand increases, those that have a leg up will move to increase market share by buying others out to be able to provide the supply of products. Or you will see partnerships along the way. jm2¢
If Scott delivers, FSPM will be one of very few companies, in the MMJ sector, who show a profit and have a legit product . . . at this point. Profitability will validate what the company has done and add enormous credibility to Scott and his team. At that point orders, contracts, expanded locations, partnerships, and more profits will drive this ship higher. jm2¢
95% of MJ sector getting thrashed again today. They are taking everything back down. Only the companies who (A) have a viable product and (B) show a profit will move forward. FSPM has a chance to be one of a handful, as the MMJ sector continues to move forward. Earnings, forward guidance, contracts, and further expansion should show up soon. jm2¢
officerk - these deals are very real as MMJ is not going away as states want the 'tax revenue.' I hope Mr. Dittman has a leg-up in the bidding for this park. What a sweet deal that would be and the credibility it would give to this company and their financial growth. This will become a supply and demand issue, as this sector ramps up, i.e., who can 'deliver.' I love the concept as this is a plug-n-grow within two weeks of delivery. Expanding both sales and production facilities is critical and they are doing that. Going to get very interesting as I believe FSPM will be only one of a handful of companies, in the MJ sector, to show a profit however big it is. We do need news though as we are being lumped in with all the MJ companies who have hundreds of millions or billions of shares outstanding . . . and little to show. Good earnings and news of contracts will help separate us from the pack. I also believe you could easily see some consolidation in this industry as we move forward. jm2¢
gimmes - I thought they were leasing the units to the growers, but buying the containers? Just my take on it.
officerk - no where have I heard or seen fspm attached to this company. In your second link it states they have started taking bids for the first lot of containers, which if I read that correctly means there are other companies bidding this project, and fspm is not a shoe-in. I am sure fspm is securing other lighting sources in light (no pun intended) of PHOT's SEC problems. PHOT's deal in Canada with CENN-Bio has been canceled and they are no longer a part of that huge MMJ project.
We can't be the only company with 40 ft. containers?
I believe FSPM will separate themselves from the pack when they announce earnings and hopefully some new orders. Right now they are being lumped in with the entire sector which is getting hammered on a daily basis. Also, reporting late is being misinterpreted and used to drop the price. This is one of the lowest float company's out there with positive earnings and a huge future in front of them. I believe they will attract even more investors after earnings. jm2¢
Take advantage of these swings because this will not last down here. I keep buying 50 shares at a time on limit buys - if they hit. jm2¢
How desperate is Michele Lionhartless . . . really? She is worried about dogs being exposed to MJ.
Mich baby . . . get a freaking life - are you leaving out kitty's too? The real question is how did you get appointed to your position with this kind of reasoning? Oops, maybe the word 'position' should be explored more. Well Mich lets assume you have assumed it before . . . the position. LOL
Looks like gov. o'malley has some brass to sign and move this forward. The next move by our infamous government has to be to reclassify MJ. Lets see if holder or obama has what it takes to get this done. What a bunch of pussees these 'leaders' are - and I use the word loosely. jm2¢
Lots of bashers this morning with doom and gloom - the entire sector is getting hammered again as speculation continues with MJ stocks. Legislation is creeping along in the US and slowly MJ companies will either show profits or remain speculative. I for one believe this company has the right product at the right time and this will play out very shortly in the next week or two once earnings and orders are released. We keep getting snippets of news on orders but no idea of how this translates to the bottom line yet. Because this company has such a small float and OS the shares are being manipulated lower to steal before news is released. I think the SA article pretty much spelled out the huge opportunity that exists for FSPM and their future is bright. The infrastructure build out of sales offices and production facilities is CRITICAL for positioning the company for the future when demand skyrockets. jm2¢
office - agree as this stuff is moving along as all the politicians figure out how their constituents
will vote based on the issue. America in general is in favor of MMJ, and RMJ will eventually get done.
Someone eventually has to make a decision, but as we know government runs by committee so no one person is the fall guy - LOL Every state wants the tax revenue and are scrambling to figure how to get it done. Decriminalizing 1 oz of MJ would go a long way in moving the sector. Unfortunately I live in Wisconsin and they will be the last state to approve MJ - as the politicians are so closed minded here it is unbelievable. FSPM will benefit from all this. jm2¢
hammer - I am frankly happy this is moving slowly as FSPM needs to get their foundation put in place first and foremost and work out any bugs, if any exist. Once the 'green rush' picks up steam with more and more states approving MMJ and then RMJ, the demand for growing will be through the roof. Entrepreneurs and big money corps will enter with guns blazing. This 'plug-n'-grow' system is ideal for big or small growers. Slowly but surely cities and states are voting to decriminalize 1oz. of MJ which needs to be reclassified. The easiest path for 'politicians' is to vote for MMJ because of the medical benefits it offers patients - and we know they don't want to be viewed as the bad guys. Recreational MJ is a different story and will take longer to approve. Colorado is the template that everyone is looking at, and thus far it has proven to work extremely well. Of course the lure of 'tax revenue' will have our elected officials full attention as they tip toe through the 'garden' trying to figure out how to not lose votes if they vote for MJ legislation. We all know what whores they are and the temptation to stuff their pockets with money will be too great. Yes, FSPM is undervalued at this point but once earnings come out and orders are revealed I think more and more people will take notice of this low float company. It will not take much to elevate this to the 10-15-20 range. If anyone has dry powder, it is the time to buy as they will not be able to hold this down forever. jm2¢
In the gold rush, the people that sold the pick and shovels were the ones who got rich. I think the same thing applies here selling the tool(s) in the green rush. This can also be used for other types of growing also - not just MMJ. Going to be interesting if their patent gets approved and issued for the pods. Huge opportunity for this company. jm2¢
Company is moving in the right direction to be SEC compliant, continued expansion, new orders, and new partnerships. Setting a strong foundation as MMJ gets through the legal challenges in new states.
Balancing demand and supply will be the biggest issue going forward. jm2¢
It is amazing how canv can be selling for $38 pps, with 11M shares outstanding, and just reported a $1M dollar loss 4Q on sales of $800K. They are also diluting by issuing 30M more shares @ $1.30 ps to raise additional money.
FSPM on the other hand is profitable and has 8M outstanding shares - business is exploding and they cannot expand fast enough it seems. Lots of speculation on xtrm and uruguay. Their biggest problem could be keeping up with demand and a backlog in orders.
gchammer - the minute they announced the earnings delay it waved a red flag in front of the shorts to charge at will with virtually no risk whatsoever, as earnings remain the 'unknown equation' for now. All other news is simply a non-event. Dittman needs to deliver strong earnings along with a major order(s) and or partnership news. jm2¢
2jz - unfortunately, when a company issues a 'timeline' for an important event and it is put off or delayed to a future date, they essentially notify the 'shorts' that they can continue to short the stock with little to no risk. Case in point is FSPM's earnings for 4Q and year end results. No matter how good they are suppose to be, it simply does not matter at this point. jm2¢
