AZ,
windfall here, I am trying to understand the0.0414252113836481 multiplier.
1} What does all this represent?
2) Do I then multiply this number by my the number of UQs I had in my account as place holder?
As always.... Thanks
****Anyone that is bullish on UQs, feel free to respond
Boris,
This is Winfall, I have a question regarding Libor and commons. Specifically, UQs.
Do the UQs get to participate in any of the potential Libor recovery?
Thanks for your thoughts.
Windfall
That was what I figured.
I was was looking for confirmation
Thank you AZ
Windfall
I have a question for you, AZ.. or anyone on this board.
If,if,if we ever do see a settlement come to pass, will this be a taxable event?
Thanks in advance
Windfall
Sooooo......
It is now past June 16th, 2023, we are done here?
No 19's,18's or 22's?
It's so sad.. but expected.
So,
Milk duds and LG,
If,if,if the scenario you speak of was to happen, would there be any chance of interest payments to equity holders, specifically class 22?
Asking for a friend.. ;)
Windfall
Thanks to all who replied to my question.
I signed and released many, many moons ago. I also submitted the W9.
I thought they were asking for another one.
"IDIOT"
Windfall
U saw a post that stated we need to sign and submit a W9.
Where do we get the forms?
Where do we submit.
This is the first I have seen this.
Windfall
AZ,
I for one miss your insites and dialog. I also like LG's even though you two are in different camps, you still provide positve feedback and to my rememberence never thew people under the bus.
We make calculation errors.. I do it on multiple occations. I am still trusting the process and even though I still am two or three years from retirement and trips to Spain and Portugal I am enjoying this crazy ride. I do hope that class 19 and 22 see some F&R recovery but I will survive with out it.; although, I would really like to buy a new Aston Martin DB11.
But I don't need one.
Windfall
Newflow,
I am unclear as to what or whom "tilda" is...
I am not WOKE and Bobviously not educated in these matters. It's amazing what an MBA doesn't teach you and with 11 kids I now do not have the luxury of time to do resarch and refresh my skills.
Thanks
LG,
Windfall here... everyone keeps talking about Class 19 and it would seem that class 22 will be left in the cold. I do have some 19, not a huge amount but enough, however, I have a significant amount of class 22s. Is it to be understood that those 22's will have zero value? The lack of noise with regards to class 22 is deafining.
Thanks in advance for your honest response..
Windfall
Thank you LG, this was a great explanation. So question,
How does everything you just layed out effect class 22 "UQs"?
Thanks
Windfall
So,
I am wondering if our drama here is over? I have not seem posts from A/C, and L/G in some time. I wonder if they just got tired of the fighting and just chose to spend their time doing other things.
Anyone know? If that is the case it makes me sad and realize that perhaps 14 years of hope was a waste of your time, energy and skills.
Although, I have learned a great deal.
Windfall
AZC,
Does the interest continue to accumulate for all classes; 939322814,939322830 and 939ESC968?
In your opinion of course.
Thanks
Windfall
So, LG,
Are then stating without stating the those who hold class 22s are left with an empty bag?
Windfall
So Ron.
To help me try and wrap my head around the now almost generational fiasco, what do you see class 22 CUSUP # 939ESC968 receiving? In what form? If interest payments will it be as AZ states off of the profit margins over the last 41.304 qtrs?
As always
Thanks for the feedback.
Windfall Magic
So AZ,
I am curious as to what the .0537 annual percentage rate is attached too. ,0537% of what? that is what I can't get my head around..
Thanks
Windfall
So....
March 4th... ? bupkis, again. I wish I understood all the subterranean factors. I am so confused at this point. What exactly kept us from "getting paid" today? ??Windfall
So LG,
Are you stating that 968's are not dead? Do we still have a chance at some money?
AZ,
I am unclear of what just happened to Escrows? I says they expired and were removed? That means we are done? and no recovery for escrows at all?
What happened and what changed?
Windfall.
Royal,
Thank you for your honest and non-condescending response. So many times when I ask honest questions some of the elites tend to berate those of us who are not a experienced or have the resources.
Thank you
Windfall Magic
So, it would appear that we sill not hit the EOY prize.
So does this mean we are now focused on March date?
So,
To all the smart people on this board.. What I am hearing is that regardless of the markers in our accounts Escrow owners will not be seeing any value added to their trading accounts?
That not only really would suck, but it is confusing.. why go through the trouble of providing escrow markers?
I just need to here plain language and the reasons with out the political two step.
Windfall
Thanks Pick,
I was hoping for a start date for interest baring dates. So that i can run a fv analysis.
General question..
I can't recall when the proposed 5.34% interest started accruing.
Does anyone recall the date?
Thanks
Windfall.
Well Hotmeat.......
I am, and have always been.... So I don't get the point of your question.
It's funny, people post here about how this is such a waste of tome and effort, yet they are guilty of the very thing they criticize.
Oh, my wealth isn't monetary, it's esoteric.
Windfall
Thanks so much.. AZ.. so you are using the 86mm share count to calculate...
Thanks Boss..
AZ,
I am trying to napkin math the interest for the last 52 quarters.
Do you use a fv formula based on the quarterly ending sp?
For example; $37(1+1.45%)52 ?
Thanks

AZ,
You had stated the annual interest rate, which I know can not find.
Could you please restate that rate and what numbers that rate applies to please.
I cannot keep this straight in my head, ( or on paper).
Windfall
I am just the opposite.
I do better spring and summer. I don't trade after Thanksgiving until second week of January
There are many on the forum that speak of "plus interest" or "not including interest" when they post potential numbers.
I am clueless, what is that interest rate so many speak if? Is at an annualized rate? Quarterly rate?
What number is attached too?
Share price? Held back dividends?
If someone could or would please answer these simple questions it would be much appreciated.
As always
Thank you for the amazing knowledge on this board.
Windfall
So question so that I fully understand.
What is the difference between conta and escrow cusips?
TIA
Windfall
AZ,
I understanding the qtr 3%. What escapes me is 3% of what #?.
I am still far under water with regards to understanding this mess.
Windfall
Newflow,
Let me address your inquiry in the best way I can.
1) what does your response have to do with my question?
2) This is the most important, you are not AZ, my question has nothing, nada, zilch to do with you so unless you were invited, use social edicate and butt out of conversations that don't concern you.
In other words no one asked you.
Your tone is arigont, disrespectful and rude. This is not a bully pulpit, it's a place share ideas, thoughts and ask questions, regardless of how dumb they might be. We are all at different levels and one way we grow is to inquire without worrying if someone here will demean or dismiss the question as ignorant. The real ignorance here on this board is pride.
AZ,
Ad always I enjoy the counsel you provide this board.
I know you have written extensively regarding interest accumulation for "Ks" and "Ps", if I understanding this correctly "Qs" are interest baring will provided a " flat rate" of cash and shares. Is that correct?
Windfall
So reading over the dialog over the last 8-10 days, I got the impression that we are done and escrow P's, K's and U's are left holding an empty bag. I see AZ has not posted in 10 days, (although he may have taken a much needed vacation), still it is a bit unnerving. If we are in fact done, why continue to banter? Why not turn to evaluating COOP? If those of us that truely thought we would prevail are wrong so what? The Cusips could not be traded anyway. All we have lost (other than our time) was already lost 12 years ago.
I for one still beleive. I for one trust the DD by so many highly experienced and educated members.
When and how much is not a concern. Either it is coming back or its not.
We are not better than the childish politician. We need to better set a better example of how to find common ground.
Windfall
I have been on this board since the beginning back when it was WAMU. It quickly went above my pay grade in 2012.
I make a living saying and day trading and mostly trade on technicals and noise.
So u don't pretend to understand this MBS market.
I thought we were going to see a REIT payout of $.38-$.51 cents per share retroed back 51 quarters on Friday.
Was this money to deposited in our brokerage accounts or were we going to receive the payout via certified check via FedEx?
I guess I really don't understand what is happening..
If, If if someone could provide a non sarcastic or demeaning response I would be thankful
It's not the money, (although it would be great) I just want to understand
Thanks to all the key contributors no matter what your theroies
Best,
Windfall
It's 6:10 on the West Coast...
I checked my E-Trade accounts this morning... Guess what? No REIT payout.
I really wasn't expecting to see anything.. however, I must admit, I was hopeful.
Windfall
Thanks BBanbob,
That was my thought, however, since is is not a dividend and is payout.. I was thinking it may come seperate from the underling asset. That may trigger a payout check away from the brokerage accounts..
Just throwing thoughts on the board at this point.
Windfall.
