Thanks. Do you know when the offering closes?
GNBT..More good news and it has still to really run. Now @ .665. Can't believe it hasn't moved more on all the positives.
GNBT...Thanks for your input. OBV and MFI look good on your chart. I was looking at the intraday chart and of course with it being such a short time span the indicators aren't as true. I'm still waiting and holding.:)
Lexi
GNBT is not trading the way it usually does. On any pop it usually comes back down a good amount. It has held trading not too far from the HOD. Now, the question is this - are people accumulating or are they distributing? I realize the shorter the term the less reliant the indicator is; however, the OBV has been low all day and the red volume bars are more plentiful than the green. What are your thoughts?
Lexi
GNBT...Thanks. It usually peaks first thing then goes down; however, if it ever does change that pattern, it would be very good.:)
GNBT...Any idea why? I've looked and have found no news.
GNBT...I see no hint of news; however, I fully expected a run all along to get it up over the $1 and keep it there for awhile to comply with the listing requirement. Plus, it has been trading in such a tight range. That surely told me people were reluctant to sell at the current price.
Lexi
GNBT...Yes, nice volume towards EOD with move up.:)
Good points. Thank you. Gosh, we're dropping today, but very few shares are going through @.036 so far. I see a block trade of 4k shares.
Thanks for the additional information. Good to know we have someone on the board with experience in those areas.:) As I may have mentioned, I have a daughter in Jacksonville who bought a new home in December in a nice sub-division. I visited her this past weekend and saw 3-4 new houses being built. We'd discussed before the lack of insulation in her walls and she had told me that when they could, they would have it done. Yesterday, my daughter told me that they planned to do the insulation themselves and if I got it right, she said the blower or whatever they call the machine was free but you had to buy the pellets. (Please excuse me if I have all the termonology wrong; however, I was surprised that the average person with no training could do that type of insulation on their own.) In addition, I realize it wasn't the special insulation that TGGI does. Perhaps you might have something to add...
Lexi
Thank you. Appreciate the info.
Lexi
I live in Florida and with the recent cold weather we have many would consider addition insulation in their homes if they have the money to spend doing this. I was recently visiting in a new home that obviously had been built cutting corners on insulation. Sounds carried from room to room and even with the heat on, it appeared the house wasn't holding the heat. Therefore, I do think there is a lot of potential for this stock when people have money to invest, the building industry picks up, and also during hurricane season with damages that occur.
Lexi
Would you kindly give examples?
TGGI @ .072. Looks like it has some good potential. Not only as a regular play, but think it might do quite well in hurricane season.

Ecosafe Outlines Strategic Growth Plan
8:32a ET February 18, 2010 (Market Wire)
Trans Global Group, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: TGGI) and its wholly owned subsidiary, Ecosafe Insulation of FL ("ECOFL") (www.ecosafeus.com), currently has 29 installers spread out over 16 states. The goal of ECOFL is to grow the number of installers to 100 over the next 15 months.
Once ECOFL meets it short term goal, the Company will have 100 installers located throughout the country, assuming each installer orders 2 sets of foam per month for a total of 200 sets; this would generate $4,800,000 in annual revenue. This number does not include the sales which will be generated by our private label customers, independent sales reps, and territory sales.
During this growth period, ECOFL will benefit from the sales of equipment and parts as well as training and marketing assistance programs. ECOFL should generate an additional $1,400,000 in equipment sales.
Although ECOFL believe through current inquiries it has received that the numbers projected are conservative, the Company wishes to grow at a steady peace to maintain overhead costs.
ECOFL will use the funds from its financing to purchase equipment, warehouse foam, and add additional personnel to service its installers.
The Company believes all other remarks made in the release to be accurate to the best of their knowledge.

Good call. GNVC having a good day.:)
GNBT. You are more than welcome. Not sure if I posted the link here or not showing the high OBV. Anyway, it was a real positive IMHO.
GNBT....Yes, agree with you. If you look at LT charts, often times a stock revisits prior prices. I really expect it to go over $5 with time or with any exceptionally good news. The thing that makes me think now is different than the last year or more is the money flow. It's green and has been for awhile. Much of the time in the past the money flow was negative. I think we have some LT investors involved now. In part, it maybe due to the addition of the co-founder of AMGN being part of the team.
GNBT...Looking at the volume by price, looks to me once GNBT passes the $1 area there isn't overhead volume to go through at all. In addition, look at the OBV and how nicely it has moved up.
Investopedia explains On-Balance Volume - OBV
OBV attempts to detect when a financial instrument (stock, bond, etc.) is being accumulated by a large number of buyers or sold by many sellers. Traders will use an upward sloping OBV to confirm an uptrend, while a downward sloping OBV is used to confirm a downtrend. Finding a downward sloping OBV while the price of an asset is trending upward can be used to suggest that the "smart" traders are starting to exit their positions and that a shift in trend may be coming.

Thank you. After I read your post I noticed someone else had basically posted the same info on an earlier date and it didn't seem to affect the price per share. Truthfully, I think they have so much positive going on that even this info on India should not really move it down. Technical analysis of this stock is very encouraging.
Help me to understand your post, please. Suspended oral insulin was found on the shelves. Would that not be the error of the stores as opposed to GNBT doing anything wrong? It would seem to me that GNBT couldn't force them to put this in their stores; if the stores did so and it was done so against the mandate of the DCGI, then it would be a problem with those stores, correct? In addition, it's not really saying anything was wrong with the oral insulin other than it didn't go through the required testing.
Investigations by the north zone office of CDSCO revealed that 151 batches of
oral insulin, out of a total of 360 introduced in the Capital, were in stores
despite the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) suspending its marketing
approval and import licence. The regulator moved against Oral Recosulin in March
2009 following a Mint report that revealed the drug, manufactured by
Canada-based Generex Biotechnology Corp., had been approved for sale in India
without mandatory local human clinical trials. The drug is marketed in India by
Shreya Life Sciences Pvt. Ltd.

Thanks. He wrote back again and was very nice, so hopefully he'll do right by us. GNBT had a nice pop and I keep looking to see if he wrote something to correct his first piece.
This is the response I got from Robert at the Street.com when I told him his article was incorrect.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I'll re-read it and issue a correction if needed. Thanks for pointing this out.

Your comment on GNBT shelf offering is incorrect. Look at the document. It isn't a new
shelf offering; instead it's a clarification of one made months ago. Your article is deceiving.
I wrote to him and basically told him his comments were deceptive. This is not a new shelf, it is a clarification/adjustment of the one filed months ago. I can understand various new traders or people unwilling to read the document for themselves not getting this; however, wouldn't you think someone who writes from the street.com should at least have his facts straight first?:)
Prior to joining TheStreet.com in October 2003, Robert spent four years with the New England Credit Union Center. Holmes attended Assumption College in Worcester, Mass., graduating with a degree in business management.
Hmmmmm...spent four years with a credit union. Guess that really qualifies him for the street.com job.:)

"But AH 140 K, are rather a lot of shares!"
Have you ever questioned the why and how of the raw data at times? Here's just one example of a trade of GNBT in AHs.
01/29/10 16:54:40 0.59 0.59 0.59 -74195
01/29/10 16:54:53 0.59 0.58 0.58 74195
Now the exact same amount of shares and one is a - and the other a positive. I've seen that repeatedly. It's common knowledge that the MM does things to trick people into buying or selling. I've seen a stock start running on very few shares, skip numbers, and make people think they should get in for the run only for the stock to drop fast minutes later. So, I don't know that I could ever make a valid conclusion based on just the number of shares. I even been told that when we see large amounts of shares in AHs in a block that it means they're "settling" shares they traded earlier - whatever that means.:) So, food for thought.
Lexi
I guess some people panic and act first; hence the selling of some shares at .55 in AHs. In addition, I'm sure the MM does what he can by dropping prices and other things to make people think they should sell. Regardless, I'm loaded with shares and I'm holding. With all the good things going on you know the PPS has to go up. The company isn't going to do anything to make it go down especially since they have to get it up to stay listed. Frankly, I expect a good PR at anytime. Being in that Arab Exhibition was a real plus. Lots of wealthy people over there. Of course one of the biggest pluses to me is the co-founder of AMGN being part of the GNBT team. So, I'm very positive about this company.
Lexi
This is not a new shelf; it is a clarification of the one they mentioned months ago.
GNBT...Thanks. You did a good job of highlighting the important things. I had done some additional DD since my first post to you. I had posted this on SI:
Okay, if all else fails, go to the official document.:) Regarding GNBT, yes, it seems this is just a continuation and potential replacement of the earlier one - not a new shelf offering. (Thank God!!) <G>

BTW, I was thinking with GNBT being at the Arab Exhibition recently, that they could have potentially gained some interest from some of those wealthy oil men.:)
I'm thinking this is a continuation of the one they announced in September and not a new one.
GNBT..Are you aware that the co-founder of AMGN is now an advisor to GNBT? Undoubtedly he has many contacts that could benefit them. Besides that, if he didn't think GNBT has big potential, I don't think he'd mess with them.
Tommy,
Have you tried www.stockfetcher.com? I would be surprised if you couldn't make some kind of scan that would at least narrow the field for you. If I'm not mistaken, you can write one for so many down days, etc.. In addition, as I recall the people at the site are very cooperative and if you asked them, they might even add criteria available for scans.
BTW, very much like the work you're doing here. I'm big on pivots and fibs. Not sure if you posted this site or not; however, I like their free pivot calculator:
http://www.tradejuice.com/pp.html
Lexi
GNBT...Thanks for the chart. Agree they are determined to move it over $1 for the continued listing requirements. I still hold a lot of shares. I truly feel it has the best potential for big % gains out of the other things I've been checking.
Wanted to make your weekend.:) I was doing some research on him to see just what he brought to the table. I knew what GNBT had put out, but I wanted to try and dig deeper. If I find more, will let you know. However, all in all, I think he very well could be their golden goose. I think of these shows out now like America's Got Talent, American Idol, etc.. Lots of people out there with talent, but until they become known - forget it. Same thing with a bio stock. You might have good products, but you need someone with contacts to get you in the door of larger bios that very well could become a partner with you or some other productive action. I rest my case.:)
Lexi
Was doing some research and found something I think is interesting. The co-founder of AMGN who is now Chief Scientific Advisor for Generex Biotechnology Corporation took the same position for CYTR in December of '08. The low of the stock at that time was .20 an it hit 1.71 in '09. Wonder how much of that had to do with his experience and contacts? :)
BTW, think GNBT held up well today in a bad market day especially after its current move up. Volume was lower on this down day too - a good sign.

GNBT...Unless I'm reading your chart wrong, it appears to me that something different is happening so far with this move up. Yes, it's pulling back, but isn't it rare for the money flow to stay up on GNBT after a spike? IMHO the money flow usually goes right back down too. Your thoughts?
