jersey11: curious if you have " *no sells " next to the MMUH symbol in your Scottrade account?
I do. I called the local branch and first spoke to a broker, then the branch mgr - who is going to call corp. to find out what it means...
Not looking to sell right now, but obviously want to know what restrictions ST is putting on this stock and why.
TIA
Does anyone know when the quiet period ends?
I'm in at 2. GLTY'all.
Are peeps still pickin up 1's?
George, do you think it's a stall tactic on ST's part?
realnewsinc, can you clarify what you mean by "could be trouble" for those using ST? Wouldn't they be obligated/forced to honor the shares I purchased in my cash account? TIA
Fidelity has MMUH
-pps/.51
-bid/.51, bid size 2,500
-ask/1.50, ask size 500
that is interesting...

I can only see that Scottrade now has the bid at .25 and ask at .00. Still has pps at .50
In the general "My Accounts" section it's listed as "VRGD#." There has been no conversion in # of shares or dollar value, & the pps indicates "N/A."
In selecting the "Detailed Quote" for VRGD, however, "MMUH" is the symbol, and the pps, bid & ask are identified.
Scottrade now has the bid at .51 & ask at 6.00 (pps .50). Which is not to say I know there's any relevancy in the bid moving from .25 to .51 during the course of the day so far...
King, Scottrade has VRGD pps at .50 as well...and the bid at .0002
pay no mind...
Leck mich am Arsch, Berlin!
You're call obviously...I'm not selling shite at 0002 though as long as they keep moving the ball fwd this thing can still run.
Ya, maybe Wyatt should send this PR to Dan Hardy's Mgr...
LAS VEGAS, Nev., Jan 30, 2009 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Bebida Beverage Company (Pink
Sheets:BBDA) announced today that the Company's Piranha Water sponsored MMA
Fighter Dan 'The Outlaw' Hardy has a scheduled bout that is less than a month
away at UFC 95.
Dan "The Outlaw" Hardy will make his second appearance in the Ultimate Fighting
Championship next month sharing top billing. Hardy, who is the current Cage
Warriors World Welterweight Champion, will face the eight-time International
Fight League veteran Rory Markham at UFC 95 on February 21st.
Bebida Beverage will be providing Piranha Water bandana's to be distributed to
select fans attending the event. The bandanas have proved to be a very popular
item among Dan Hardy fans and Bebida is very pleased at the response of the
bandanas design and overall popularity. Additionally, Bebida will be sending via
courier a supply of Piranha Spring Water to Dan Hardy's management in advance of
the upcoming event.
This bout will be Hardy's second Octagon appearance, and the Team Rough House
star will be looking to continue his fine run of form, which has seen him win 9
of his last 10 bouts. The match-up will be shown live in the United Kingdom on
Setanta Sports and will air via tape delay on Spike TV in the USA. This will
give the Nottingham based star not only the chance to showcase his skills again
in front of a live arena audience but also in front of a watching UK/USA
television audience too.

I hear you 1 goodevening...but if it's true that 1) the majority of pink's are scams, 2) many pinks have at least a few runs in them that traders can make good returns on, & 3) a trader can get in at "the bottom" of one of these plays - then it stands to reason that BBDA has at least another run in it that can benefit investors (traders; new or not) that enter in at these bottom price points. None of this is to say it's a lock, or that it will specifically benefit someone who got in at your price point and didn't average down.
I'm holding on to my shares now because I believe BBDA will make another run. If I didn't, I'd take what money I could get and get out now. I can certainly understand if new investors also want to put a bet down on BBDA...as all investments in this class are bets.
As I see it - CN.
Well thx for the response op9. ST has never allowed me to set the GTC's I've wanted. I'll live with it for now but can see changing brokers at some point.
With Scottrade, tried to do a GTC price at .01 - I didn't go higher because in the past they have not allowed me to set high GTC orders....and indeed, ST wouldn't allow me to even set a GTC at .01 this time around. The pop-up said it was too far outside the current parameters or something like that. Anyone else have this issue?
On second thought, we should post KELLYCO's picture of Rodrigo and put it front & center in the iBox, right above or below the pic of pirahna water...or maybe next to his name & title, CEO-at-large. We'll shame him into making an appearance. Flush him out.
Dag wrote: "What's viable company got to do with it? It's the pinks, they run on promotion and technicals."
Take another look. I didn't write "viable company;" I wrote "viable play."
If we're in a play that can run, we're in a vialbe play.
vi-a-ble (vahy-uh-buh): having the ability to grow, expand
Self-explanatory, no?
cn
Right - I hear ya, thx.
Yet another example! ...& you've provided this one from not just TODAY, but from the same guy who either is or has been involved in BBDA...love it, appreciate these fact-based reminders, and I hold on to yet make money off of this particular co...
cn
KELLYCO, I can't get it out of my head that Rodrigo, if he exists, looks exactly, precisely like the man in your signature pic...and that brazilian bastard is making off with my money. No offense to Brazilians of course.
CN
829, you may be right. Did yet another general search on our CEO-at-large & found this statement from a Sept. 30th release:
Rodrigo Makarios, President of Bebida Beverage Company, stated, “Growth in sales will be driven not by orders from retailers and distributors, but rather from consumer demand for our products. Getting our products placed into the retail marketplace is wonderful, however, long lasting success of our products will be driven by consumer demand.”
“The next step toward success will be to create strong brand awareness so that consumers meet us half way by actually looking for our products on retail shelves. The company will soon announce the first of several marketing efforts aimed at creating strong brand awareness within the targeted consumer market for Piranha Spring Water.”

First, he wasn't kidding around when he said sales won't be driven by retail & distribution orders!
So it's a brand awareness campaign to be followed by...the other "half" of the equation he referred to in meeting the customer 'half way.' If he meant the egg has to come before the chicken, fine. But at some point in time the chicken still needs to make an appearance, no?
Onde tem uma foda frango, Rodrigo???

"Everyone needs to stop calling HT Hackney and any other
distributor BBDA is working with. YOU NEED to call ADAM in IR and DEMAND we know who and how much BBDA is distributing to the wholesalers as well as the retailers.
Enough with harrassing the companies selling Pirahna. Call ADAM!"
My question at this point in time is...why? Your post assumes we have confirmation that Pirahna water is in distribution and being sold in retail outlets. Do we have this confirmation? Not too many posts ago our former mod indicated there is none at present. Adam/IR has, to date, provided zero confirmation.
I agree it's wise to continue to focus on BBDA/Adam - in lieu of our CEO-at-large - in attempts to confirm what is real/actual...but if BBDA continues to be closed & unresponsive, I've got $ in the game, am underwater, & am in favor of getting as much LIGHT shed on this as possible. If this has negative repurcussions for BBDA's partner relationships it is BBDA's responsibility to better manage it. Seems to me they've created this dynamic.
I've read many of your posts and respect your viewpoint, AMA. I could be wrong here. Perhaps your view is getting confirmation via HT Hackney is akin to herding cats, generating only more confusion. But if there is confirmation of, hell, ONE HT Hackney distribution center that currently distributes reasonable volumes of Piranha water to retail locationS, this helps us believe there is a real product meant for & in distribution, as opposed to the alternative.
CN
Just a general comment: if BBDA doesn't release information about distribution or retailers in PR's, and Mgmt. doesn't make itself accessible to speak with anyone, do they really expect that shareholders WON'T make calls to various distributers/retail chains for the purpose of determining what's really going on? It's seems more like the inevitable result.

(holder of more BBDA shares than what I care to share)
Actually, just looked into my history and have another acct. with an add'l 2M - but at higher purchase rates around .002. Regardless, I've pulled out my principal investment and am holding on for what I anticipate will be a nice ride up.
Holding 5M from triple 0's
CN
.0021: got it filled & I'm thrilled...
CN
trying to get 500K @.0021...not getting filled as yet.
CN
Wow - I know this can't just be me, but I got a partial fill of 380K @.0018 and Ask goes to .0019. I then bump up my # to 19, get a partial fill of 275K, and the Ask jumped to .0029... I wanted 4M!
CN
Thanks. I'm going to try & get another 4M on this dip!
CN
Could someone please let me know what they're seeing now for the bid & the ask? My Scottrade is showing 18/22; Fidelity is showing .0003/.0007 - which makes no sense to me. Fidelity showed these sames amts yesterday as well. Many thanks.
CN
OK - thanks G Money...
CN
ES: I'm on a fairly steep learning curve here so this question is pretty basic - but would be very appreciative if you could help my understand this:
Outstanding Share Count - 273,216,492 (As per the Transfer Agency 12/29/08)
Market Cap = O/S X PPS, therefore:
Market Cap = 273,216,492 x .0008 = $218K
First, do I have the current market cap right?
Second, how/why is possible for MMU, now a VRGD company, to have annual revenues in excess of $20M...and VRGD a market cap under $250K??
What would a realistic/conservative market cap be for a company with recurring rev. in excess of $20M annually?
I understand this gap represents the oppty with VRGD, but it seems so far off the mark currently I'm thinking I must be missing something..
Thanks for any input you might have!
CN
I'm buying as well: 10 million @ .0002 this AM.
BURN THE SHIPS!
That's exactly the right word to use Green, "Sandbagging." It's obviously that's what BBDA is doing; they're gathering many relevant marketing/contractual/revenue data points for the purpose of optimizing the impact of an upcoming PR. When they chose to release it who knows; it's their business to manage. But the point is it seems they're winding up for a big swing.
I don't see any button or link with "survey" referenced; can you be more specific? I'm new to this. I own 7.4M shares. Thx.
