Thank you Indy that was exactly what I was looking for. Great write up. The unified DSN sounds like a key tool to differentiate AWYI from the rest. I see some geographic overlap, but also some areas that it sounds like we're the sole player? The other part of my earlier question is how does AWYI differentiate itself when marketing to prospective customers. Without giving out any corporate secrets, can you provide some discussion of this? Thanks again much for these posts. I get a better and better feel for this company the more I deal with it. Look forward to the shareholder meeting when we're all fat and happy!
nor i! lol ah well, all good. We had an up day, PR is positive, anticipation of the Q is positive, tis a good day in Ariel land!!
hmmm appears my previous post must have been off-topic as it has gone the way of many penny stock companies and disappeared! i was was only hoping to point out that AWYI is a developing company doing business in a niche with a history of explosive growth.
Thanks Surge good to know. Independent, any feed back on AWYI's competitors in the market place?
Anyone have some insight on what drove the SP over a penny back in Feb?
I've got to plead some ignorance here. I keep seeing references to Cornell but I'm not sure who/what that is? I'm assuming a large shareholder who the board consensus seems to not think much of? If they are dumping shares cheap, I'm all for cleaning them out on the cheap and being one of the long term shareholders supporting the company and looking forward to the future. Do tell, investing minds want to know!!
AWYI_I who are the major players that AWYI competes with in the market place and how does AWYI differentiate themselves when marketing to a prospective client?
Interesting the share volume is significant everyday, but is represented by usually no more than half a dozen actual trades. Certainly does not appear this stock is a victim of day trade churning. Looks like blocks being dumped. I'm just surprised to see shares being dumped so cheap considering the potential. I concur with all in being VERY interested in the Q. Arne, if you're reading, we believe in ya man...make it good!
LGL, did the shareholder meeting idea ever get any response. I did get one more response from Thom White which sounds cryptic, in an intriguing way...

We did have discussions, although, as you can imagine, the content is privileged until I am told otherwise by whoever is in control of the company. I wish I could be of more help.

Subject: RE: IPhone2
Thanks Thom, was there any counsel provided by your firm to the Company concerning relisting the stock or any other matters?
Well I guess this will be my final post on this stock. I sent an email to the firm that is mentioned on the "Important Info for Shareholders" link on the IPhone web site. Here is the email and the response. Looks like Chip, IPhone and our $$ are gone. If anyone has any additional info, or a game plan for recouping some of our collective investment, I'd love to hear it. Best of luck to all in your future investing endeavors.

I am sorry that iPhone2 has been unresponsive. Unfortunately, our firm is no longer representing them so I do not have any recent information. I am unaware of the identity of their new counsel, if any. The only advice I can give you is to continue trying their contact information on the website.
Sincerely,
Thom White

Subject: IPhone2
Dear Mr. White
I am trying to obtain information on the status of a company called IPhone2, Inc. The President of the Company, Chip Greenberg, states on the Company website that the Company retained your firm to review all possible courses of action for the Company to resume trading of the Company's common stock.
http://www.iphone2.com/impo_info.php
There has been no communication from Mr. Greenberg with shareholders since March 2008 and there is a question among a group of sharedholders whether he is even still with the Company.
As a shareholder and therefore partial owner of the Company I am requesting you please provide a summary of the courses of action for relisting of IPhone2 common stock your firm has determined at this time and also any information you have on contact information for Mr. Greenberg. Your assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated.
The only comment I can make on that analysis is whether the income multiplier is a fair number. That's probably a good number for established F500 and mid-tier companies, but with this being a start up and in a niche market, I'd want a higher number to account for the higher speculative risk. But hey, that can be bantered about all day. A higher IM would be justified with more interest, a positive outlook and most important, some postive history to justify the rosy future. Give me a IM of 30 and Q NI of $500K and I'm taking my lovely Mojo to the islands! I need to go back and re-read the PR about acquisitions and their financial impact to make sure he is projecting contributions to NI and not revenue. I most certainly agree NI per Q of $300K should be spot on with the info being released by Arne. As far as the price dumping to .0015 this morning...well hey if someone wants to give me a boat load more shares at that price, all I can is say is thank you Santa!
I agree. I'm seeing .0015 as anomalies and .0018 to .002 being the current range. I'm accumulating right now in that range. Anyone kicked around a target price for 3, 6 and 12 months? Another board had a poster with .04 by year end but when pressed for a basis never provided one.
It seems the communication has been good from the Company so I tend to think they are on the up and up. I've been burned a couple of times in the past with companies doing a reverse for that short term pop only to see the split adjusted shares dwindle in value to nothing. You end up with 1/10th the shares and 1/10000th the value. I like the market niche for this company and it appears the business plan has merit. Only concern is the share price is at the ITD bottom. One would argue at current levels its a not big risk to the down side so I'm on board for the ride. Look forward to sharing in the wealth with my new Ariel pals!
Has there been talk of a reverse split? Curious if that has been discusseed as a means of getting the share price into the OTC acceptable range.
I sent the following email to Brooks communications on Monday August 4, 2008:
"Could you please provide any information concerning this company's relationship with IPhone2 Inc. I was under the impression per news releases and SEC documents that Brooks Communications was acquired and is a subsidiary of Iphone2. Can you please confirm or clarify this?"
I got the following reply:

Brooks Communication, Inc. has completely severed the relationship with iPhone2, Inc. Because of the legal agreement involved, I have attached an approved press release.
I hope this information is of some use.
Clark Brooks
President
Brooks Communication, Inc.
The press release that was attached is as follows:
ALBUQUERQUE, NM, June 26, 2008. Brooks Communication, Inc. announced that, upon mutual agreement of the parties, the acquisition agreement with iPhone2, Inc. of July 11, 2007 is null and void. Clark Brooks, president of Brooks Communication, Inc. remains the sole shareholder of the privately held telecommunication company headquartered in Albuquerque, NM. Brooks Communication, Inc. has no affiliation with iPhone2.
Brooks Communication will proceed with plans to enhance their sales staff and update their product lines. They will continue to sell Mitel / Inter-tel digital and VoIP telephone systems; Polycom audio and video conference systems; and a full range of local area network solutions. Under evaluation are additional VoIP products.
Founded in 1976, Brooks Communication is one of the oldest and most respected business communication systems providers in the greater Albuquerque area. With it’s dedication to quick and efficient service, Brooks Communication has a base of approximately 500 clients.
I find it interesting that the agreement was voided "by mutual agreement". I believe the presss release that IPhone released concerning this acquisition was premature and/or grossly misleading. Anyone know if there are any operations of IPhone2 still in existence? And does anyone have any idea of the whereabouts of one Chip Greenberg?
Glad to finally find some info on IPhone although what I am reading does not make me feel much better about the stock! I've sent several emails to the investor relations email address but have never received any response. Does anyone know if the company still has any operations in AZ at all? Or any operations anywhere for that matter. I'd be very intersted in pursuing whatever actions would benefit the shareholders of the company.
