Mariner's Choice Revs Up for the RV Market
Tuesday September 16, 9:03 am ET
JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Sept. 16, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Mariner's Choice International Inc. (Other OTC:MCII.PK - News) is expanding its market reach of the product line by further penetrating the Recreational Vehicle (RV) market for the upcoming 2009 season.
The RV market shares many similarities with the marine industry as luxury expenditure and the loyalty and discriminating purchasing habits of their consumers. And, much like the marine industry, the RV industry is also facing environmental compliance issues at the OEM level through to the aftermarket accessories and maintenance practices and products. The $14.5 billion RV industry in the U.S (source: Recreation Vehicle Industry Association) is primed for Mariner's Choice products.
Mariner's Choice eco-safe product line is being transitioned into the RV sector under a new label. The company has been working with industry experts for their input on the brand positioning and market penetration strategies. The Mariner's Choice distribution model is through the utilization of agents and distributors, and the company is actively seeking to partner with those with established network of customer base in their respective regions.
``We are looking to mirror the success of our strategy and tactics we have used in the marine industry and tailoring them to the RV sector to rapidly garner market share. The Mariner's Choice eco-safe product line naturally extends into the RV market, which means that there is already a full product offering to cater to the discerning RV customers. The high-performance products range from black streak remover to microbial holding tank treatment, and cleaner degreaser to interior germicidal disinfectant for prevention of spread of bacteria,'' states Pete Hellwig, Vice President of Mariner's Choice.
Mariner's Choice, as a developer and manufacturer, continues to expand their product offering. The company has the capability to respond to market needs and quickly adapt. ``We want to ensure that the 'greening' effect is being carried through for the protection of the owners, the RV itself, and the environment. We intend on securing a strong foothold in the RV sector in 2009,'' Hellwig continued.

Mariner's Choice Tackles Greenhouse Gas Emissions With EPA Registered Products
Wednesday July 30, 9:47 am ET
JACKSONVILLE, Fla., July 30, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Mariner's Choice International, Inc. (Other OTC:MCII.PK - News) tackles the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions with its Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) registered MC-Marine fuel catalysts.
North Sea SOx Emission Control Area (SECA) was put in effect on November 22, 2007, joining the Baltic Sea, which came under SECA regulations in May, 2006. In a SECA, the sulfur content of fuel oil used on board ships must not exceed 1.50% m/m. In June of this year, a meeting was held in Oslo to progress towards developing a mandatory regime for further consideration by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and its Marine Environmental Protection Committee (MEPC) to control GHG emissions from international shipping. MEPC is scheduled to meet in October, 2008.
In addition to reducing emissions, the use of MC-Marine fuel catalysts can reduce operating cost per hour by 20%-30%, and realize increased profitability for cruise lines, shipping companies, work and crew boats. National and international interests have been received, and the products are currently being used and tested in various markets.
MC-Marine Diesel Purity (EPA registered) or Pura Line Bunker, formulated specifically to overcome the deficiencies associated with low sulfur content and numerous other conditions affecting the fuel's stability and quality. MC-Marine catalysts are ``combustible'', not ``flammable'', allowing for safe shipping and storing, further increasing satisfaction while decreasing handling and storage costs.
The science behind this proprietary technology positions the MC-Marine fuel catalysts as a forerunner in the marine sector. The MC-Marine Diesel Purity is one of three MC-Marine fuel products registered with the EPA, under 40 CFR 79.23. To the best of the management's knowledge, there are no other marine fuel catalysts registered with the EPA to date, other than those produced by Mariner's Choice.
why is ask price after market close showing .09?? haven't seen that one yet...
good buy on the dips imo
ok made a couple changes (of the new major stuff at least)... any recommendations on what to add or take away? i've never done much on i-hub... any feedback is highly appreciated... thanks
go long mcii~
woah how did that happen... dont remember signing up to mod lol....
anyone want to assist?
yes... and it's due to lower volumes. i think with about 200k volume/day (which is really nothing) for a couple weeks this can go up to .20-.30 range...
plus the company has great long-term goals and potentials... only adds to the pie, just not enough exposure to trading markets
Opinions on MCII?
can anyone do an evaluation on this stock? Seems like a great long-term hold to me... consistent PR's, just missing some volume (which can eventually be built up with exposure). The board also needs a good mod. Great potential for 10+ bagger in the future.
Here's a link to an interview i found with the VP: http://www.247mgi.com/audio/MCII.wma
Also look at the PR's for them... has been just about every week.
Thanks for anyone that takes the time to help out!
where do you all see this heading short term? recovery?
Found a radio interview with Peter Hellwig!
Talks about the numerous products and solutions that they currently have.
Tons of products, all eco-safe, adds some credibility to the company.

MAATS Highly Successful for Mariner's Choice
Wednesday July 23, 9:00 am ET
JACKSONVILLE, Fla., July 23, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Mariner's Choice International, Inc. (Other OTC:MCII.PK - News) is gearing up for 2009, having had a very successful showing at the recent Marine Aftermarket Accessories Trade Show (MAATS) which took place July 16 - 18, 2008, in Las Vegas.
This year marked the third consecutive year that Mariner's Choice (MC) has participated at this industry event. The show offers closed-door meetings with registered buyers from national retail chains, national and international distributors. MC took advantage of this opportunity to book meetings with some of the key retailers and distributors. The meetings have initiated positive dialogues, with the expressed intention of putting agreements in place within the coming weeks. Announcements will be made, as each agreement is finalized. These agreements alone would increase MC's distribution footprint in excess of 100% in 2009, along with a significant increase in national retail presence.
A meeting also took place with a representative of a well-recognized brand expressing their desire to have the full MC line of products under their label. The negotiation for a multi-year contract is on-going.
The industry trend to ``green'' continues to pick up momentum, which was strongly evident at the show. The buyers were there to seek out manufacturers, who can provide solutions to satisfy the demands of the consumers. ``MC is recognized as the 'go-to' brand for its full line of eco-safe products. As well, the interest from buyers was very high for our new Treat-N-Fresh Microbial Bilge Cleaner, which takes bilge cleaning to the next level,'' states Pete Hellwig, Vice President of MC. He further states, ``The product has been tested by National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and is registered with the National Sanitation Foundation. As we continue to round out our product offering, we expand the market potential of the brand. MC is positioned for exponential growth in 2009.''
wonder who the national and international "key retailers" are... should have more announcements soon
yes, i agree that they probably control a large portion of it... but it would be in their interest to get the PPS up before doing anything.
50k volume/day is about $2000/day in trading volume and i really don't think the insiders would bother doing trades like that.
do u have access to see where the trades are originating?
i dont think they're selling... just not enough volume and some crappy daytraders messing around with it
the company's definitely real, check out their website:
www.marinerschoice.net
hopefully there's some more good positive PR's comin
could be... but holding so far... just not enough buyers coming in to give it the big boost
any way we can change that?

Wednesday July 16, 9:00 am ET
JACKSONVILLE, Fla., July 16, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Mariner's Choice International, Inc. (Other OTC:MCII.PK - News) is participating once again at the Marine Aftermarket Accessories Trade Show (MAATS) taking place July 16-18, 2008, in Las Vegas.

This preeminent annual trade show, sponsored by National Marine Manufacturers' Association (NMMA), is where the manufacturers showcase their wares to the buyers from local and regional stores, marinas and national chains. Mariner's Choice (MC) is making their third consecutive appearance with an exhibit booth, and have pre-arranged meetings set with a number of buyers from key retailers, distributors and agents. Early indications point to some private label opportunities with national brands, and initial interest has been expressed in the MC line by major chains and international agents.
MC is introducing a new product at the show: Treat-N-Fresh Microbial Bilge Cleaner, which takes the bilge cleaner to the next level. ``This all natural product contains beneficial microbes that remediate oil and other organic contaminants. The product will reduce the waste component of the bilge and make the pump outs more easy and efficient,'' states Pete Hellwig, Vice President of MC. He further states, ``It is completely biodegradable, non-toxic, pH neutral and VOC free, and reduces environmental liabilities for the boat and vessel owners, as well as the marina operators. The product is registered with the National Sanitation Foundation.''
what would happen if we had a great PR right now?
up 26% today with minimal volume... not too bad
well so i messaged matt and he told me to just make more posts and become a moderator.
i really don't mind paying for my account if i have to... just i don't feel i can do the best job monitoring these boards since i've never done it before... anyone want to team up?
yes but before that happens the stock needs some consistent volume... maybe we can help with that :)
i'm beginning to accumulate and putting in orders... seems the PPS is beginning to grow
k sent let's see what happens :)
anyone think we have a PR coming this week?
i think the management is finally starting to ramp up and try to have this company's PPS start moving... which would explain their efforts at the PR's.
i'm going to start accumulating shares while the price is low...
can anyone moderate these boards... or teach me how? i'm new to I-hub and not fully coordinated yet, although hopefully soon will be :)
