🚨BREAKING: In less than 24 hours after having a gag order imposed on him in the Stormy Daniels hush money case, Donald Trump has VIOLATED the order, resuming his attacks on Judge Juan Merchan, as well as his daughter.
The threatened penalty of non-compliance with the order is PRISON.
Trump again lashed out at the judge this morning, accusing him of suffering from "an acute case of Trump Derangement Syndrome" and calls the gag order imposed on him "unConstitutional."
It's time to stop playing with that dangerous lunatic and hold him accountable, before someone gets hurt.
What was surprising to me was that I didn't even remember melon-head had a brother!
That's a great thread. There may actually be a legal basis for taking away his gov't contracts.
There's a very interesting thread on Melon head. Let's hope it gets some traction.

Elon Musk is the most famous former illegal immigrant in U.S. history.
Now he amplifies the voices of ghouls who want illegal immigrants *gunned down indiscriminately* at the border.
Has there ever been a more vile instance of hypocrisy in American corporate history? I ask you.
Well- he's still thinks he's"winning"-
Tonight a D in Alabama flipped a seat from red to blue on the IVF issue. By a lot. Apparently the R;s in Alabama are not happy.
He's totally turned into a carnival barker!
No- Their site was chosen by the NCAA.
"The university said it was disappointed the team was assigned to a hotel so far away from the games, as they were placed 30 miles away in a different state, and called it “a contributing factor to the impact of this incident.”
That is so horrid! Although the NCAA should have known better than to book them there in the first place. They moved to Spokane which will treat them well.
Done. I see my meatball sandwich didn't male the cut.....................

NBC News should never have hired election-denier, coup-plotting Ronna McDaniel in the first place. But better to dump her quickly than to double down on their mistake.
Puck's Dylan Byers reported the decision McDaniel's ousting earlier, noting that details have yet to be worked out and that McDaniel is seeking legal representation:
SCOOP @PuckNews: NBC NEWS plans to drop ex RNC-chair Ronna McDaniel as a paid contributor following on-air revolt from NBC/MSNBC talent. Execs are deliberating over details; announcement pending. Meanwhile, McDaniel is seeking legal representation.
— Dylan Byers (@DylanByers) March 26, 2024
Chuck Todd, Nicolle Wallace and Rachel Maddow (above) are just a few of the high-profile personalities who publicly lashed out at their employer for hiring McDaniel. There was plenty of behind-the-scenes outrage, too. The New York Times reported, “some rank-and-file employees were starting discussions on how to further pressure network leadership over Ms. McDaniel, a person with knowledge of the talks said.”
Good riddance!

BREAKING: Tugboats were released from the ship 17 minutes before impact with the #baltimorebridge . A tug escort was not required for the transit but was offered. Two pilots were aboard at the time. One a graduate of
@UsmmaO
and one a graduate of
@MaritimeCollege
Asked Jay if the tugs still had the ship if they could have avoided the collision considering the time. The answer is "probably". Even with main engine failure they would have been able to steer it to a certain extent.
He is betting that the tug escort will be required in the future.
According to this- it could have been much worse.
Before the collision, the ship’s crew notified authorities that the vessel had lost power. That “mayday” allowed Maryland Transportation Authority Police on the highway above to prevent many cars from driving onto the bridge just before the catastrophe.
I've been on one of the big car ferries when it lost steering coming into dock. Captain reversed engines which was all he could do to lessen the severity of the hit. Put the dock out of of commission for a month.
Good thing no one was injured. That's a very strange report. If they were just leaving port, it would be a surprise if the vessel captain were asleep or high. Jay used to work as a Marine Engineer, will be interesting to hear what hes says.
They don't have my favorite, which is crab stuffed deviled eggs.
I do put hard boiled eggs in potato salad- but I don't make a sandwich out of it!
Same to you! Any way we make money is good.
You and me both!
Below $4.25 is a trading share buy- above $5.50 is a TS sell. In between is ignore.
I know! but I voted for the meatball in hopes. Last good one I had was in SF.
I have no idea what he's thinking. I expect there's already been a lawsuit filed.
I'm not saying this because I dislike her, but she looks like she's actively dying.
Done! Please pass me a meatball sandwich.
This is not going to go well...................

BREAKING- Ron DeSantis signed a bill today that bands kids 14 and under from having any social media accounts in Florida. The measure instructs platforms to erase any current accounts for children that age or younger.
Maybe drugs?
Why don't you divide it into 2 parts? core and trading. Keep all of the lowest price shares as core- trade the higher priced ones. Unless they're in a brokerage account- then trade for best tax play.
My core shares are around $3.00 and trading shares currently around 4.25.
Whatever the cosmetician did with her lip filler is really, really, drastically bad.
A year ago ACHR closed at $2.53 with a volume of 2,263,800
Today it closed at $4.96 with a volume of 4,774,730
If you've held your core position, you're obviously better off.
You could also have made decent money on a trading position, if you have one.
You need more patience and a view longer than 6 hours.
The market is backing off it's highs and taking most stocks without a catalyst with it.
ACHR finished green
You spend way too much time watching every tick of this stock every day. It will ruin your BP.
Your day job would probably love all that attention.
:Looks like it will be a 1/2 and 1/2 judgements for Trump this morning. He gets 10 days t come up wthj 175M for the 464M bond, but he loses this one.
Judge Denies Trump's Motion Alleging Prosecutorial Misconduct
He wasn't happy with Trump's lawyer grandstanding.
Judge Merchan addressed Trump's motion today to find that the Manhattan District Attorney's Office committed "prosecutorial misconduct" by providing documents late in discovery. These were documents requested by their office from the US Attorney many months ago by the DA, but only received by their office recently. These documents were apparently in possession of the FBI who took some time turning them over. The DA argued that only a handful of documents were relevant to the case, and none of them helped Trump in any way.
Nevertheless, Trump's lawyers filed their motion based on a "discovery violation" - that the documents were provided late after deadlines imposed by the court. The DA responded that they did nothing wrong since the federal government was in possession of the documents, not their office. At one point, they even argued that they only way they could've possibly gotten the documents sooner was to sue DOJ.
Trump's lawyer Chris Kise disagreed with the DA's position that the documents only hurt Trump, therefore they weren't useful in any way to his defense. He argued that some of the documents turned over contain exculpatory information related to the Mueller investigation. Much to the consternation of Kise, the Judge then interrupted to rule that he would not consider those relevant since none of the evidence pertaining to the Mueller investigation would be allowed at this trial.
At one point, Judge Merchan asked Kise if he could cite a single appellate court case that held a state DA's office could be found guilty of prosecutorial misconduct for a discovery violation where the documents at issue were in the hands of a federal agency. Kise said he could not. Merchan then said the fact that they were making such serious allegations against the DA's office with no legal authority to back it up was "disconcerting."
Right before taking a recess, Merchan summed up his frustration with the argument from Trump's lawyers:
Trump then walked outside during the break to complain that the whole case was a "witch hunt" and a "hoax."
When he returned from the break, Merchan said he did not need additional time to consider his decision and ruled against Trump, stating that the DA was not at fault. He then set the case for trial on April 15.
Great new name for Trumpty

Reading through various sites, it seems that the favorite for next to go is McClintock -- also voted against Mayorkas impeachment with Buck and Gallagher
I'd go along with that.
This is who she is. She's a major power loss for the GOP. But I don't really understand why she's doing it.

I don't know. Is there anyone left with enough sense to leave now?
Not sure how "closely" he worked with them- seems like they would have liked sooner rather than later.....
@Fritschner
WOW! Like Buck, Mike Gallagher carefully timed his departure. Under Wisconsin law, congressional vacancies occurring "prior to the 2nd Tuesday in April" in an election year get filled on a faster timeline. An April 19th resignation will keep Gallagher's seat vacant until November
Well- by then it may not even be "Speaker Johnson". However- no matter who picks whom- it will not be good for the country. (Us, not the Chinese)
Another one leaves.
@mkraju
Another major blow to the GOP majority. Johnson can only lose one vote on any party-line measure after Gallagher resigns
He is WI-08 and is resigning effective 4/19.

🚨BREAKING NEWS -- MTG chatting with the floor staff, just handed a piece of paper with a resolution to the parliamentarian staff.

If this is true- can the judge not just say "Then put up or shut up"?
Trump claims he has $500 million cash, after his lawyers say he can’t get $454 million bond
Donald Trump claimed to have nearly half a billion dollars in cash — after his lawyers said he doesn’t have enough money to post a bond for his $464 million civil fraud appeal.
The apparent contradiction could be serious: Trump has just a few days left to get an appeal bond.
Trump also claimed he plans to spend the money to bankroll his presidential campaign, the first time Trump has suggested he might use his own money to fund his White House bid.
