Archer To Report First Quarter 2024 Operating Update and Financial Results on May 9, 2024
"SANTA CLARA, Calif., April 22, 2024--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Archer Aviation Inc. (NYSE: ACHR) will report its first quarter 2024 operating update and financial results after market close on Thursday, May 9, 2024. The company will host a conference call and corresponding live webcast at 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time (5:00 p.m. Eastern Time) to discuss its operating update and financial results."
So far the move looks impulsive, hoping it is the start of something bigger
Not today it's green from here on. Maybe. :)
The aviation industry is looking for its own Tesla
"United Airlines (UAL) has a $1 billion agreement with Archer Aviation (ACHR) signed several years ago to purchase up to 200 of the startup’s vertical takeoff and landing vehicles, or eVTOLs. Prior to the United deal, the California-based company partnered with European carmaker Stellantis (STLA).
On an earnings call earlier this year, Archer co-founder Adam Goldstein explained why the company took an investment from the automaker: "When I founded Archer, I knew from watching the EV industry that developing the capability to manufacture our aircraft at high volumes was perhaps the No. 1 enabler of our future success alongside the design and certification of the aircraft," he said."
Oversold on every metric and still performs like a raindrop on a window
Someone tell me I’m wrong
Here it comes everyone hold your breath we’re going under!
Just comical at this point
Getting an EV to fly is easy. Getting one to fly for a meaningful amount of time is hard. Really hard. Notice how brief most of the videos are.
Nice breakout of the trend dating back to March 25 with a bounce on the backtest at the close on the lower timeframes
Still resistance ahead but looking for more upside tomorrow
Told y’all! Lolz
Decent close today
Thought we were gonna get one of those CLASSIC days where we lose every inch of gain lol
Still here
It’s hard to imagine short sellers capitulating any time soon especially after breaking through so many support levels
The low was made just minutes before close
It closed above it's low of the day. (where it is still trading AH)
Yea you just said it a lot came off their intraday lows and we dumped
Not buying that.
The R2000 closed with a larger percentage loss than either DJ or Naz.
Pretty much everything (although not 100%) came off their intraday lows.
No stock is comparable to ACHR other than JOBY and that also had a similar day and close
SPX and Russell 2000 both had a strong close relative to intraday
Which stocks in this sector comparable to ACHR had a strong close today? And have they good long term prospects? If so. I will do DD for a possible buy.
Despite the down day in the market there were a lot of strong closes
Not this stock though .02 from the low
Best of luck to everyone but like I’ve been saying something is very wrong here
Gonna watch and see what happens tomorrow lolz
I’m beginning to understand a little after reading OP and your response example.
What I don’t understand is where these shares are being pulled from in order to fill and how/ if these purchases support share price.
All very interesting and gives me hope knowing there are still big buyers are these prices
Your experience, Steve, matches one of this site's examples-
You see, giant institutions like mutual funds and ETFs need a lot of liquidity to minimize their market impact. Further, most ETFs are index funds, aiming to track an index. They need to mirror their underlying index closely, so they have to trade on the close, or else they’d be getting different prices than the index records.

Thanks for the confirmation! 😀
There is always tomorrow.
You can even put in a Sell the Open order and not have to spend all day watching................
Better yet should have sold months ago
I know from experience that mutual funds only care about closing price of portfolio holdings, to calculate the NAV. Traders of the funds may spend the day analyzing their trades, and simply sending them in MOC, since price doesn't matter that much to the fund.
As if it was even a question
Somewhat of a falling wedge pattern on the lower time frames last couple sessions
