I did not propose anything but if a large industrial structure is being built bulldozers and other heavy equipment may be handy things to have laying around don't you think?? As we were supposed to see a start of construction 3Q09 it would have made sense to expect things like that. Once again these are their time frames that they stated and it's not me or anyone else rushing them and being impatient. It is just expecting follow thru on what was stated. 30 days left until the end of 3Q Doc.
I agree completely with being hopeful as I always have been but how can you make statements like "SOON very soon..." and then have no basis for it. That is not being optimistic that is being misleading.
Doc all you say on here is contradicting and complete gibberish and I have lost all respect for anything you say. On Friday you said "Wait... Yes!!! I stand by statement profoundly... Bring it on!!". Earlier today you said "Keep trying to scare people...SOON very soon...it wont matter!!!". And just a few minutes ago you said "One day if this project lifts off...it will be a great thing...until then...we are all smoking the optimistic pipe!!!!!"
So in the space two business days you went from standing by your statement profoundly.. bring it on!! and soon very soon it wont matter!! and now just a few minutes ago its "One day if this project lifts off" ?????????????? What the hell make up your mind be consistent you are a mess all over the place with this. Come on what are you talking about!!
You do see how more and more people including me who were very optimistic and supportive of the company are becoming critical and impatient mainly because of the company's inability to communicate and show any substantial milestones. If there is a shareholders meeting IMO it will likely be a hostile share holders meeting. If they plan on asking for anything which will further diminish or dilute our share values no matter how they may try to dress it up I will not be supportive of it. Probably won't be a shareholders meeting though IMO because it was only if resources were available and they probably blew most of the company budget on the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches on the 28th so probably no resources left for a $100 dollar telecom. Use to burn through a million a quarter for years though.
Ah its very good to hear you say that 73. i agree with you completely on the share price. We had that hard bottom at .01 and of course the ever so familiar .08 ceiling. Has anyone been keeping track of the amount of shares selling near .08 the last few months? IMO it does appear for whatever reason that someone doesn't want the stock to high or too low. May screw up the master plan of the MMs LOL
Docs word is far from gospel ride but he was at that ridiculous dirt luncheon thing and so probably holds more current information than most of us on here.
I have not given up either Walker and I hope for the best for all of us longs but I am going to be very critical/analytical of everything until we start seeing some consist and substantial progress.
I must agree with Walker on that one doc and I have noticed that before as well. On one hand you seem so tight with insiders and have all this precious information about these wonderful things that you cannot divulge and in the next breath you act completely clueless as if a million miles away and no confidence in anything that is going on. So which is it?
It was good to see you in those pictures playing nice in the sandbox with the insiders but really now what was the purpose of that little luncheon dirt kick thing on the 28th? It wasn't to announce funding to get the plant built, It wasn't to announce any type of new management or FFI spin off and it certainly wasn't to begin construction of the plant. But that's right even with no funding or permits in place just recently they said " “The project is still on track and seeing the start of construction, as reported, to begin in the third quarter,” Fuel Frontiers President Dave Maland said in a recent e-mail to Manufacturing & Technology eJournal". Guess they still have about a month to get those bulldozers rolling. Aww but wait again we still have no funding but now it's starting in the Spring... of what year was that??. " So again what was the purpose? PR, muster support for the project ? That banner with the website on it those people were holding defiantly got them some attention I can't imagine what they were thinking with that one and what dim bulb had that idea.
Doc as you were there was the CEO of the company Patrick Herda even at the dirt luncheon thing? or was there more pressing business? What about that transitional advisor group that got shares to do ........aww well what did they get the shares for now I forgot? where they there?
All we have seen over the past few months is that they bought some land. Aww well I mean we bought some land. Sure was nice of each of us shareholders to give up 20% of our future FFI shares to Schrader so they could get the money to buy that land. Well at least if the company folds the land can be sold. Well actually no, Schrader gets the land if the company folds. Now that's just grand makes me just want to go out and shovel some dirt in the back yard what fun.
Still no Substance to be found and the steadily diminishing PPS reflects it.
Please enlighten my shallow mind with some facts not generalizations Doc.
Docshazam would you please provide more detail on this statement you made.
"RIGHT now...I believe that FFI is a very valid and tangible company that has a REAL chance at making it BIG TIME as an energy company on another exchange with its own PPS and symbol etc...."
"on another exchange"? what do you mean by this? any relation to a certain a 2 E on the TSX last summer? please enlighthen us all.
Well lets see ride if I were a high risk betting man which I am I would bet on a late filing notice for the Q on 17 August followed by a Q that rehashes the lunch/photo op on 28 July. Would be nice if it were more but I wouldnt bet on it.
Unfortunately that embarrassing website is back up. It would be better to have no website at all than to have that boiler plate meaningless site there. What are they thinking to have a ground breaking with signs advertising the website and when you go to it you see that mess. Try clicking the contacts link and this is what you see.
“Contact Us
If you have any questions regarding our approach to ethanol production and would like to partner with us, please contact us by calling or e-mailing us and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. We look forward to hearing from you.”
It talks about ethanol!! Come-on management if you think a website is not important in this day and age you are crazy!
I am referring to your post Walker and you make no mention of Maland in it and said you were basing the success of the company on the past few months. Again the answer to your question of “Was there ever a television broadcast regarding this company before this one?” is YES there was well over a year ago. You need to Cool Off, Settle Down and think about what you type before you type it.
Walker there has been televised events concerning this stock before, I posted some last summer. I doubt the NBC 14 media clip links will work from that long ago but the legislative record video with Maland in it probably would.

It's because the company actually has to do something Cytrx it's that simple. People are sick of hearing about what could or might happen in the future and how much potential yada yada yada there is. No one cares a bit about their cleverly worded press releases with mystery investors including the pps if they haven't noticed. They need to show on the news the foundation of an FFI plant going up or something of that caliber or show KY officials walking around a busy FFI construction site. It needs to be something solid like this that they cannot back out of. One of those weird futuristic things called a website might help also, ya a were about to break ground on a 400 million dollar CTL plant but we didn't have the money to pay the college interns to do that website for us yet. The current one looks just incredible an outstanding way to pull those investors in. I know I'm sold when I click on it. Buying a chunk of land will not get them anywhere unless they actually do something with it on the 28th at their groundbreaking.
I will give the company credit for actually purchasing the land and they even provided the address which is a start. But the big question that remains and what will be the turning point in my mind is will this ground breaking be of any substance? Meaning will this groundbreaking be a massive large scale start of construction with heavy equipment or will it be a single garden shovel throwing a scoop of dirt into the wind for cameras? It makes a very big difference. IMO If it is large scale that would indicate much has been done in preparation and likely a solid plan with backing that will continue with good things to come. If it is a single shovel of dirt into the wind to build a tool shed well than that could open the door to statements such as for example "we hope to finance the plant so we may begin construction and through further share authorization we hope to attract investors in 3Q 2010 or maybe 4Q 2011 or 12" Keep in mind that if for some reason the whole thing falls apart and goes bankrupt than MI.116 gets the land. Not a bad deal for them considering we would get nothing in that scenario. The only thing IMO that would give the single shovel option some merit is if maybe Yonts were there waiving around a check for a few token million of government funds which would possibly get the attention of heavy dollar investors.
So I am not throwing stones and am very glad to see the land purchase but let's not do any celebrating and tequila shots just yet. Lets remain cautious and demanding of a meaningful groundbreaking and a solid substantial and continuing start of construction.
We are going to get shafted on this FFI share conversion. Just wait until there are 2 share checkbooks to start writing from they seem to be setting themselves up with a little too much power to issue at will. IMO
I reference my earlier post.
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=38827672
Ride it will take either that or a commitment for funding (hundereds of millions) of the plant to see any significant rise in the pps IMO. A garden shovel and a few hundred thousand aint going to do it.
Yep you got that right MLM any sentence I see on here with the word "SOON" in it I immediately disregard the post as BS.
Agree why dont you share this public information you have with all doc.
Agree Cytrx
Because in short Cytrix no one cares anymore about what the company hopes to do or would like to do, its just words on paper and the pps didn't even flinch with those releases. There needs to be solid substantial action such as an aggressive start of construction. IMO
Manufacturing & Technology eJournal posted another article. Since posting the entire article word for word the last time seemed to create so much confusion between dates and old articles I am just posting the direct link this time. Date of the article is 22 June 2009 and is located at the bottom of the page. It appears to just be a rehash of the 15 June company news release.

Agree Cytrx and I am just being positive and trying to support what they are saying they will do as they cannot really be criticized for not doing something until the time frames they have stated actually pass.
Looking here also walker hopefully a news crew can show all the heavy equipment staged and ready for the big day.
I third the notion of MLM being there.
First of all Doc I am not a Naysayer but more of a Factsayer and one who wants Shareholders, Investors and Insiders to all receive their fair share if things go favorably for this project which I sincerely hope they do. This is why I point out the potentially negative ramifications of some of these events. I want us shareholders treated FAIRLY meaning we don't just blindly accept whatever leftover scraps may be thrown our way saying thank you thank you thank you for anything. Events and statements need to be looked at and scrutinized from all angles not just the absolute best possible scenario. If things go favorably which they do have the potential to I will not sit quietly with a marginal profit while others become filthy rich at common stockholder expense. As you said yourself “hopefully we are not left with bread crumbs...and that is the BIG question”. Be Vigilant Doc if an event has the potential to swing either way don't always give it the benefit of the doubt that it will be 100% to the positive analyze it and question it. If good things really do start to happen that is the time to analyze and scrutinize even closer and not just assume all will workout fine as it can mean the difference between marginal and substantial profits for us shareholders.
As for the rushing ASAP to get the plant built no one is saying this and you continue to miss the point. The company made very recent statements about start of construction and ground breaking in July. These were their statements all I am saying is that if they make statements like this so close to the actual time they are saying it will happen than it better really happen and not be something that just sounded good to put on paper. Since this is happening in July you don't need to worry about a lot of that pesky preliminary stuff you keep listing because it is obviously not important or must have already been done.
I am not going to address every one of the statements in your post some of them make perfect sense and I agree with completely and some are completely off the deep end. I guarantee you we are on the same side and I do agree there is potential here and good things are hopefully starting to happen but I just have a more analytical and cautious approach.
Remember ...Vigilance
Well MLM I am not liking the way the picture appears to look for these shares. If 3 million shares of FFI is 10% of the current amount than the total would be 30 million. 350K divided by 3 million shares is .116 or 11.6 cents per share and why I called the Mystery Investor MI.116. LOL So IMO we would probably get like 1 FFI for 3 or 4 NSOL shares or something like that which would be fine if there were never any more shares authorized over the 30 million. But as we know there is a ceiling of a 100 million so guess what that means ding$ ding$ a 70 million share checkbook for the company to start writing and diluting us to death when FFI spins off. Now to add insult to injury the 15 June PR had this nice tidbit in it “Such a shareholder meeting will also provide an opportunity to decide other pertinent matters, such as amending Nuclear Solutions, Inc.'s articles of incorporation to increase the authorized number of shares” so I take that as they want another 100 mil added to the NSOL ceiling which translates to ding$ ding$ another 100 million share checkbook for the company.
Lets take inventory on who is getting what so far.
-FFI gets a nice fat share checkbook when/if the spin off happens
-NSOL gets a nice fat share checkbook when/if additional authorization is approved.
-Hope to buy some land sometime for the start of construction of the 400 million dollar plant in a few weeks.
-Breaking ground and starting construction in July even though none of the preparation appears to have been done. Likely the golden garden shovel scenario if you ask me.
-On first check nothing to be found anywhere on the net about these new investors who will be getting 10% and likely 20% of FFI. Will search deeper on this though it will likely be worth the effort.
Mostly just my opinions and speculations above. Not sure about you but I am still waiting for the good news we keep hearing will come because I have not heard it yet and in fact the way this appears to be unfolding is looking worse each time I look at it.
I will give the company credit for making an attempt at communication which is a milestone. However in my opinion this information they released lacks any concrete substance and likely why there was no effect on the pps. Essentially they just issued some shares for some cash under the subs name because the prime is maxed out. They did similar for years with Ms.08 now its just a Mystery Investor - MI.116. They also discussed raising the authorization on nsol which will further dilute and not something good to hear.
It was encouraging to see start of construction or groundbreaking as they are referring to it once again reiterated for 3Q and now in July. In my opinion what further defines groundbreaking of any substance will be multiple pieces of heavy equipment clearing land and making progress towards the foundation of a CTL plant on the land they purchase. Not a ceremonial garden shovel throwing a shovel full of dirt for 100 cameras. An example of a statement with more solid substance and commitment would have been........We have PURCHASED land for 350k and have the deed in hand. Contracts are signed and Heavy Equipment is COMMITTED and WILL BREAK GROUND for the Coal-to-Diesel Plant in July 2009.
Actually buying the land and a true groundbreaking will be solid progress. Hoping for the best lets see these words from the company PR turn into some ACTION!!
Optimistic? Come-on Doc a year ago it would have been optimistic a week ago it is just plain deceptive please do not even try to defend that or you will lose credibility as well. On your little list number 20 should be start construction but we are doing it in the next 100 days the hell with 1-19. I put more faith in quotes in media than I do in company PRs or paid bull reports.
Ok Cytrx I got a good laugh out of this one lol, nice way to lighten things up here “If you are not satisfied with the progress we have made or our communication go f yourself and please don't destroy our new bag” Geez very good read while waiting for the crew at happy hour lol!
Docshazam I do try and look forward to the future and possibilities and not dwell in the past and in doing that I am very concerned that the president of FFI made the recent quoted statement reiterating the 3Q start of construction.
As most of us have known and you and doc 2 have again shown in your recent posts there is a considerable amount of work that needs to be done which would require a considerable amount of money to be spent in order to even start construction. This is one reason why start of construction would be such a big achievement and why I dwell on it.
In my opinion unless there has been a great deal going on in the background and a great deal of money being spent in the background a 3Q start of construction is not likely.
My concern with all this is that the president of FFI was recently quoted reiterating the “seeing a third quarter start of construction” which does not appear plausible in my opinion. A schedule itself slipping is not good but buildings and large scale projects often slip schedule and cost and if this happened based on year old information that would be one thing but that is not the case now. This information is new and week(s) old and quoted right from an email of the president of FFI.
In my opinion and the point I am trying to make here is that this statement brings the credibility and reliability of the recent statement the FFI president made into question. This will make me think twice before believing other statements in the future if it shows to be false. Keep in mind we are not talking about old out dated information here that may have changed due to unforeseen events.
What I said here may be premature and I do sincerely hope that construction does start in 3Q but if it does not this president will be looking very very bad to me. Lets keep a positive view on it though and have faith in the company and what its president states until we know different.
Will be keeping a close eye out here for those bulldozers to start moving dirt within about the next 100 days.
Doc I agree with what you say needs to be done just like I agreed with what docshazam said needs to be done. My point is Maland was quoted from a recent email in an article last week. ""The project is still on track and seeing the start of construction, as reported, to begin in the third quarter," Fuel Frontiers President Dave Maland said in a recent e-mail to Manufacturing & Technology eJournal.""
So given what we know and what needs to be accomplished in anyone’s opinion is there the realistic possibility that construction will START IN 3Q?
Docshazam I don't disagree with anything you have said in your post but perhaps I was not clear with the point I was trying to make. I know construction of a CTL plant is an extremely complex and expensive project. I only rattled off a couple random items from the top of my head as some of the items that would need to be done for construction to START no doubt there are many. The whole point of my last post was the 3Q START OF CONSTRUCTION that was reiterated in that article. In my opinion for construction to START over the next 110 days many of those things I listed and you listed should already be in place or in process don't you think?
Go back and read your post and think about how much of that has likely been done and what needs to be done for a 3Q START OF CONSTRUCTION.
WHAT IS THE LIKELIHOOD THEY WILL BREAK GROUND IN 3Q ?
Yes Doc I do agree it was encouraging to hear Maland make a statement like that and I don't intend to sound negative about it but there is a lot that just doesn't make sense.
So break down what he is saying and think about it. “seeing the start of construction, as reported, to begin in the third quarter” So in my opinion that would mean within 110 days from today they will begin digging and constructing a foundation for the structure of this plant right? So then at a minimum they will have structural engineering plans done to do this right? They will somehow have acquired a site for this foundation right? Cant build a foundation if you don't have some dirt to put it on. Last but certainly not least this plant will cost several hundred million dollars right? Somehow I don't think the company AMEX will cover it. Who is financing it?? I am sure the forest, the trees, the tea leaves and the pot leaves have this all lined up and it will all happen in the next 110 days right?
Yep that's what I thought nothing to worry about lets go eat steak and drink beer the plant will be spewing diesel by next Christmas.
Walker it was docs post 21060 and 21061 looks like they are not there anymore though. Check with doc I don't want to misstate any of it from memory. No PM here sorry.
Docshazam I will not view it as good news until it translates into solid verifiable actions. I will agree it was encouraging to see that this Journal captured a recent direct quote from the president of FFI reiterating a 3Q start of construction.
What happened to the little 51% ploy you were orchestrating and recruiting for last Wednesday evening? I was ready to ante-up.
I scour the open net for relevant information and news and post for all when located. Hopefully there is more out there to come if Maland has begun to talk about project status.
Walker you are right the date is hard to see on their articles but if you go all the way to the bottom of the page it is right below the permission to reproduce statement. It looks like this Journal just puts all its dates on the bottom instead of the top. The Journals front page has a link to this article as well.

3 JUNE 2009 - Is a Diesel-From-Coal Plant Still Coming to Western Kentucky?
(Muhlenberg County, Kentucky) – Plans to start construction of a diesel-from-coal production plant here are apparently still on schedule, but officials are remaining tight-lipped about other details.
The project – a joint venture between Kentucky Fuel Associates and Fuel Frontiers, a subsidiary of tech development company Nuclear Solutions(OTC BB: NSOL.OB) – was announced in May 2008. Construction was supposed to start in the third quarter of this year and the plant was slated to be fully operational by 2011. (See http://www.mfrtech.com/articles/1041.html)
“The project is still on track and seeing the start of construction, as reported, to begin in the third quarter,” Fuel Frontiers President Dave Maland said in a recent e-mail to Manufacturing & Technology eJournal.
Maland declined to release the location of the site, saying the information has not yet been made public. He also declined to elaborate on other details – citing SEC rules – but said “much progress has been made since you last reported on this project.”
In a May filing with the SEC, however, the company said it needs to raise at least $500,000 to sustain operations. “We anticipate raising this money through debt and/or equity financing which may result in substantial dilution, and/or increase the company's indebtedness," Nuclear Solutions said in the report.
The SEC filing also said progress in the development of technologies has been slower than expected because of lack of personnel and lack of working capital.
The original plant specs called for 100 employees and 70 million gallons of production annually. Within two years, the operation is supposed to grow to 200 workers and 200 million gallons a year. The plant is supposed to sell diesel to customers within a 60-mile radius.

Definitely not the Ironclad verifiable progress I was looking for but after 6 months of complete silence anything is an improvement. Is interesting that this Journal with an article date of 3 June 2009 is quoting Maland reiterating the 3Q construction start date. The beginning of their 3Q construction start window is in a few weeks on 1 July.
Does sound all well and nice but I aint buying it until I see Bulldozers pushing dirt or Yonts on some podium flinging checks and champagne bottles around.
MLM I have sifted through the regs on this a few times and come to a similar view as you, that it does not make sense. So given that I just form my own conclusion that they are there regardless of how they are there.
My comment on progress was intended to be sarcastic.
Agree MLM and in my opinion it is there somewhere somehow and weather it was just not reported, transferred to others or just buried in some loop hole I don't know. Regardless the reason it is my opinion that Ms.08 has control or input to a significant portion of this stock.
Exactly one of the points I have been trying to make. A reverse split will be BAD no matter how they try to slice it or dress it up. Thank You
