It's good to see they are pushing the right buttons
Getting the word out in various publications such as this is savy . Hollywood is a great place to target imo. People complain here because of lack of news by the company but one should note they couldn't advertise the treatment until it was approved 6/22. This is not a one mile turkey trot people. More like a 25k run imo. The negatives are the lack of cash and general market awareness (the ceo is changing the market awareness issue). We may face more dilution and growing pains in the coming weeks/months but this is what happens at this level. I have held ANX for 2 years and it is finally coming to fruition sp wise after a rs and share dilution to raise cash. Yes, it was frustrating. If one wants instant gratification they should try Mcdonalds. Otherwise walk away for awhile but realize this: You own the next generation of derm therapy/treatment here and given some time/money they will silence all critics. This is a blockbuster. Btw, I really don't expect much in this qtr just ended since it was just approved 6/22. glta longs
just got off the phone with laura
she kept referring me to the website for any answers to questions I may have. They will be participating in a conference on 8/09 btw. Mr Pernock as some have pointed out here does have marketing experience with GSK. I just wanted her to confirm that. She was very pleasant and quick in calling me back. Just wanted to share this fwiw. glta

This came out on 6/29 the day before the stock offering and may have been overlooked imo:
First Commercial Flight Completed Using Dynamic Fuels Jet Fuel
Press Release Source: Dynamic Fuels On Wednesday June 29, 2011, 8:06 pm EDT
AMSTELVEEN, The Netherlands, June 29, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- KLM Royal Dutch Airlines today became the first airline in the world to operate a commercial flight on 'biokerosene,' which included renewable jet fuel supplied by Dynamic Fuels LLC.
KLM used a 50/50 blend of conventional jet fuel and renewable jet fuel in both engines of a Boeing 737-800 aircraft that carried 171 passengers from Amsterdam to Paris. The flight was a preview of more than 200 commercial flights between Amsterdam and Paris KLM plans to make in September using the same fuel.
"This is an important day for Dynamic Fuels and our efforts to demonstrate the performance and environmental advantages of what we're producing," said Bob Ames, vice president of Renewable Energy for Tyson Foods, one of the owners of Dynamic Fuels. "We're pleased with the leadership KLM has shown in its willingness to use innovative, new fuels like ours."
Dynamic Fuels is a 50/50 joint venture between Syntroleum Corp. (Nasdaq:SYNM - News) and Tyson Foods Inc. (NYSE:TSN - News). The company's plant successfully converts fats, oils and greases into high quality renewable fuels. Unlike ethanol and biodiesel, which are typically produced from food ingredients, Dynamic Fuels uses non-food grade fats, oils and greases. Production began in October 2010 at the company's Geismar, Louisiana, plant.

The 50/50 venture -- known as Dynamic Fuels -- was formed to construct and operate multiple renewable synthetic fuels facilities, with production on the first site beginning in 2010. The Company plans to use its portfolio of technologies to develop and participate in synthetic and renewable fuel projects. have an entry now. This got slammed last week on the stock offering. Oversold and price could be stabilizing now. Could be a nice short squeeze here imo :)
hi Dave
not yet but I will post anything that looks good!
ANX article from seeking Alpha:

PCFG!
breakout is here! weee
PCFG
breakout underway! weeeeeeeeeeee!
PCFG
looking for a breakout soon!
we should all write to the fda
and request that botox be removed from the marketplace due to its serious side effects immediately! Some may think I am crazy here (ok maybe I am lol) but the fda has been in a withdrawal rampage lately and this would definitely give FCSC a boost!
at 1pm I see a lot of buys
stacked at .71. OTOH Nite is on the sell side at .735. It could be ready to start pushing north again soon imo. gl
looks more to me
like stop losses taking effect imo and not panic selling. Just remember high betas and volatility work both ways and this could just as easily blow back up. Keeping a few for most investors is probably wise since picking a bottom is hard for most. gl
time will tell here
how low it can go. I emailed the company and hope to get some kind of response today. looks like 200dma is gone. Going to wait for this to settle for now. btw, I added at .78.
judging by todays action
looks like the right move imo but it would be smart to keep a few just in case the company announces some good news!
the 200dma is .75
we need to hold that. Judging by last week when we had the long green candle (finished up .01 on high volume) it hit around 1.80. Imo, this will be forming an ascending triangle. Bottom is not in yet but we are close. (volume decreasing on less volume) FCSC could take weeks for it to test that 1.80 again imo. Also, news trumps all of course. gl
another example of misconstrued logic
on your part Dew. 1) You must have some kind of crystal ball in being able to put a price tag on a procedure in which no one on this board knows. We do have a clue, however, in that it will approach the price of Botox over time. So, I will boldly ask here how much money is Allergan losing on Botox? You should upgrade your 1938 crystal ball to the 2011 version. 2) You are assuming that FCSC will not get approval for any of their other uses. No one can put a price tag on any of these uses yet imo. I just read they are looking for dental partners now. Btw, judging by their last placement numbers it doesn't seem to me they are a dilution machine as you suggest. Yes, they will lose money for awhile which is typical of most stocks of this kind. I never said this was a short term pick. You really need to move on since you are clearly out of your league here imo.
because the warrents expire
on 7/07. So use it or lose it! Patience june bug. This is the time to be acquiring more imo. Also, I think a lot of buyers may be on the sidelines waiting for the financial questions to clear up. Dilution is a dirty word to most investors but what some don't realize is that it can be a good thing for a growing company and provides the grease to get things going (growing the company) as long as the CEO doesn't use this strategy as a personal atm machine. Lots of penny stocks are scams this way.
I am not familiar with Restylane
They may have a large market share (presently) I am assuming it is some kind of artificial wrinkle treatment which needs retreatment often. There must a ton of those companies around imo. Right now, FCSC is in a class of its own with the only fibroblast therapy out there. I have always done well over the years with these type of stock picks. Truthfully, I wasn't even aware of FCSC until 2 weeks ago. Found it by accident. I knew it had 'star' potential then and loved the natural approach it had to treatment. There is definitely a 'natural' 'organic' movement in this country and FCSC will fill this need imo. I still think it would be wise for Allergan to acquire FCSC at this stage rather than later since FCSC will be ramping up sales in 2012 and beyond. PFE and other drug companies are in need of a new 'blockbuster' drug considering the fact that there are lots of brands going off patent this year. This will be fun watching which drug company blinks first.
Btw, I love your cat but he is orange and not black. lol
It would be in Allergan's best interest
to partner or even buyout FCSC. The reason being they are competitors and Allergan could grab most of the derm market between botox and fcsc imo. Best way to get rid of your competition is to buy them out imo. Easier for Allergan to have fcsc in its stable then to have to compete with PFE or any other large drug co. if they were to partner or buyout FCSC imo.
They have some great people on board
but need to get their financing in order for this to blossom imo. Blew thru the 50dma and 200dma is at .74. We'll see if they hold that. Holding here with a long term outlook. glty
'Natural' According to merriam-webster:
FCSC could easily fall into one of these definitions imo
http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/natural
Elemer Piros (FCSC analyst)is the one to contact
at Rodman and Renshaw. I tried calling today but he already left the office til monday. Going straight to the horse's mouth is often the best way imo: 212-356-0500.
http://www.rodmanandrenshaw.com/services/research/our_analysts?id=19
PS. This man has some great credentials: "Dr.Piros has been ranked # 1 among biotechnology analysts in The Wall Street Journal’s annual “Best on the Street” survey in 2007" imo:
Looks like rodman and renshaw
raised their price target to 4$. This is on yahoo board and I don't think it was there yesterday. Btw, they put up 3$ back on 4/19. Price targets are often missed but it does give one an idea of what the 'big' guys are thinking imo. glta
nice article ron
Good to see there was no last minute dumpage like yesterday. gl
AGNC
sold yesterday for a nice quickie! Love these ex divy plays!
another article
this is somewhat old but I just wanted to illustrate how much attention FCSC is getting from different sources. Buzz is important for momentum imo:
http://investorsoup.com/2011/06/a-stock-that-makes-you-smile/
You forget one thing
rich people always have money. Doesn't matter if average person is broke or not. Look at the overall market (not just the US). I haven't heard of Botox having any financial problems. You think Rodman and Renshaw were wrong in putting a 3$ valuation on this stock? Not counting the other uses yet to be approved imo. Btw, the target audience for this drug is the boomer generation. They are better off than others. Your logic is flawed. Of course it will suffer thru some growing pains but the upside here is enormous long term imo. gl
PS. You can't put a price on vanity.
I added at eod
GAP filled! Just want to thank the daytraders for the cheap shares :)
thanks for the chart clay!
It was a sour grapes day for day traders for sure. All of the dumpage at eod just proves this imo. What is important here is that we finished green and adx looks to be resetting nicely. Some positives are the psar just flipped for the first day, and the obv is very bullish still. Also, like the way the macd is behaving. This is a good long term hold for anyone wishing to ride out the volatility imo. The chart history shows how high of a beta this tock has.
buzzwise
lots of upside potential but they need a partner with some deep pockets to launch and market their product imo. Dilution in this case is actually a good thing imo.
they don't have much cash
which is why they did that placement last week.
Long term they need to get their other indications approved which would be another driver for the sp imo. I took some profits but will be adding to my position in the 1.20ish area. Price seems to have stabilized for now. lol
looks like gap will be filled imo
patience june bugs! This will turn hard imo
