Hello everyone, I have been away for a while trying to cure the Rabid blood of my body as some of you accused me of, however my question of the day is when is the acquisition of Thrush Aircraft going to take place. PVD and Thrush Aircraft made the announcement 3 months ago and nothing has happened yet. Also the stock has not moved in the direction that I believe that all of us would like for it to do. Is this another ploy of PVD and Larry Bays to get people to invest into something that is about to go under and for them to get just enough money to salvage their investment and then dump the company? Sounds kind of unstable to me. I think it is time to cut the loss and run like #$%* from this program!!!
What happened to the closing of the buy/sale of Thrush Aircraft Inc to IAHL today? I read through all the postings these past weeks that today was the day and we should see a huge jump in sales on our stocks!!!
Thrush planes are by far the choice of the people who fly this type of aircraft. Also they are better built than the AirTractor. However AirTractor has a better operation for servicing the industry. They work with the operators to supply parts and service far much better than Thrush Aircraft Inc. AirTractor is the leader in this industry and always will be. They have a management team that understands the needs of this industry. Thrush Aircraft has no one in its management team that understands anything about the nuts and bolts of the crop dusting industry. There service is very poor and there knowledge of the aircraft industry is very weak. Look at the facts, Larry Bays is a accountant and Payne Hughes is a publisher. Eric Reject is nothing more than a gopher for Larry Bays. When this acquisition takes place with IAHL then PVD better be willing to jump in roll up his sleeves and find someone in the crop dusting world to come in a run the company because Larry Bays is about to run it in the ground. Why do you think he is so eager to sell it??
Well it is obvious that you know nothing about the Thrush aircraft. The video that you refered to is a video of the Air Tractor, Thrush Aircraft's biggest competitior. AirTractor sales 4 to 1 aircraft over Thrush Aircraft Inc.
To your reply that my numbers are askew, read the sonystyle post #32266 that shows the link to Ag Air update for the article that Bill Lavender wrote on the supposed sale of 20 600HP Radial engine Thrush's to Lybia. The reason that I say supposed sale is that they still have not delivered the first airplane and they have 3 ready to ship. In the article it plainly states that these aircraft will sale for $395,000.00, with a 20 airplane sale there would be discounts for that large order number of aircraft. So, Its a whiz, my numbers are not askew but very close to reality. I hope that Mr. Bays And Mr Van Dyke can soon get the ball rolling so we can enjoy the increase in revenues.
Well I find this odd, I thought we were investing in a new idea that would make us rich beyond our dreams with PVD's vision of the Integrity! If we are to hang our hat on Thrush Aircraft Inc, we need to review a few facts, Ie. that Thrush has delivered less than 50 aircraft in the last 5 years. The price of a new Turbo Thrush basic model is $625,000.00 cost to the dealer. The engine alone is $330,000.00 so that leaves $295,000.00 for the aircraft and you have to take the expense's of manufacturing from that. The lybian deal where they claim that they have 20 planes sold and have yet to deliver any for this contract, which they were suppose to deliver 3 at the end of October 2007. These aircraft are radial powered and the engine and prop combination price is $60,000.00 and they are selling these planes at $350,000.00 brings us back to basically the same gross cost of the airframe and it to has to take the cost of the manufacturing. Point being that the rate of production, about 10 per year, makes the gross sales of the BIG LYBIAN deal about 3 and one half million a year and you still have to consider the the cost of the manufacturing and all the unforseen expenses that it cost to build a airplane. I do not know if this is a great acquisition or not?
I read the article from your link and the first thing I noticed was the statement that Thrush Aircraft has been in building "crop-dusters" for 40 years. Well, how can this be true when the first company that built the aircraft was Snow Aeronautical, then Rockwell, then Ayres Corporation, then Quality Aircraft had it before Thrush Aircraft. Thrush Aircraft has not been in business for 5 years yet and have not delivered more than 50 airplanes since they took ownership. I would not put much stock in Thrush Aircraft if they can not even tell the truth on how many years they have been in business!!!
I think Sandy is more in tune thaN what you think he is!!Also he has been an investigating reporter for many years and I think he knows what his boundaries are. He did get to be in his position and continue to run a successful paper by being stupid!
Yes, I have had to use news print before when had nothing else. The only bad thing is that it can leave ink on you.
Yes, the article ran on 2-7-2008
Dear Sir, I do not know where you got your information that there is no Albany Journal. The Albany Journal has been published for years and comes out every thursday. The owner/publisher is Sandy Farkas.
I never said that the Integrity could not be certified in the U.S., it will just not be approved by the FAA as a 20 passenger single engine airplane. reference FAR 23 Part 23.3 Normal Category single engine, Max Gross weight 12,500 lbs. with a limit of nine passengers plus pilot. No matter how influential and intelligent Mr. Van Dyke is, I do not think he will have this rule changed in the FAR's.
Well I thought the whole purpose for Vandyke buying into the Thrush plant was to have a place to build the "paper airplane" that has been on the drawing board for more than 10 years now.
Did you know that they have not delivered the first airplane to Libya. No did not think so, maybe you should do a little more investigation!!
You seem to be admitting that the airplane initially must have an FAA certification and registration when it is manufactured, otherwise how coul it be de-registered with the FAA.
Answer to your question about the airplane in England. The airplane could not be exported from the U.S. with out an Export Certificate of Airworthiness issued by the FAA. The FAA would not issue an Export C of A unless the type design had previously been certified by the FAA and the airplane being exported met FAA regulations. The importing country, in this case England, would not certify the airplane and allow it to be put on the English register if it did not have an Export C of A from the U.S.
Thrush Aircraft could not build and deliver and aircraft one a month much less one a day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
According to PVD the Integrity is still a paper airplane. The Integrity can not be manufactured in the U.S. with out FAA oversight, which starts with approval and Type Certification of the design, and it will not be for a 20 seat single engine airplane. After the airplane is made it cannot be exported with out an Export Certificate of Airworthiness which is issued by the FAA after it is established that the airplane was made to the FAA Type Design Certification.
apparently Bushboy knows nothing about aircraft certification!!!!
In response of selling these aircraft overseas, it cannot be sold internationally unless first certified by the FAA if built in the USA.
