RIP NSOL! Was a lotta fun back in the day...
There doesn't seem to be any problem with online orders at Interactive Brokers
You live in denial dude. If "Everything may really be moving forward." as you try so hard to make yourself and others believe do you seriously think people would be dumping this crap at a penny. Get real. When things are happening there are always people who know something and would be buying the ying-yang out of this if that were the case. Truth is there ain't squat happening other than the usual insiders trying to figure out how to squeeze what ever they can out of suckers like you.
Quote of the day:
"Don't own the common stocks of companies which need relatively continual access to capital markets if they are to remain going concerns" ~ Marty Whitman
"Everything is moving foward" - Gosh this sounds familiar!
Wasn't that what Larry boy told us just before pulling the plug
Doc I'm rather astonished at your sudden enlightenment!
You are almost beginning to sound like a 'basher'! ha,ha
I remember it was not so long ago that you thought NSOL would make a great investment for your kids college fund. Finally, it seems you are getting a clue as to what this is all about.
Way back in Feb I sent the SEC an email detailing why I thought they should have a look at this co. They thanked me for my submission but I guess when they couldn't be bothered investigating a $50 Bil ponzi scam why would they care about a few NSOL suckers.
Yeh, I agree. It's kinda pointless for Babblefish to dump his almost worthless shares now. He won't have to bother doing this himself. This will happen automatically either when his stock is delisted or diluted out of existence. If his story is true it's quite sad. Hope he's a better shot with his rifle than stock picking. Talk about a combination of greed and stupidity. Seems there's a lot of that going around these days:

"The real lesson here is about men, not markets. Human nature doesn't change, and crooks will always be with us. For investors the lessons are the eternal ones of diversification and diligence. Don't trust your life savings with any single money manager or investment."
"As Shakespeare understood, the fault is not in our stars, but in ourselves."
Folks have finally realized NSOL is a dead stock crawling and there is so much incredible opportunity elsewhere
sounds good, when's the IPO?
The fact that you can't even distinguish one "basher" from the next just goes to show how bright you are and explains why you are long this POS.
Ha,ha the only payment I get is the pleasure of watching you longs squirm every time the stock lurches down while you are wailing your useless hype into the wind. Oh BTW I made sure and kept a small residual position from my original buy at $.70 so I don't risk and forget what a piece of crap this company really is. Few of you newbies likely remember the big $1.50 buyout that is supposed to happen any day now huh?
Hey don't feel too bad. Anybody who doesn't think $1.50 buyout happening any day now is a BASHER! You know you have them nailed to the wall when they start screaming basher, but you kinda have to feel sorry for them. The long suffering pumpers have precious little to go on so screaming basher gives the sorry saps a little relief from the pain while they watch their portfolio wither away.
"Presently, there are no established companies producing CTL" - Do yourself a favor and pull up the balance sheet for SSL and then compare it to NSOL. $13.56 Bil Rev, $2.372 Bil Earn compared to NSOL's diddly squat. I guess in your twilight zone of a world that's not 'established' enough huh?
Yeh, anyone who dares point out any factual information that has negative implications for the company is automatically labeled a 'basher'. Anyone who dares point out this is a company with NO Revenue, NO Cash, NO Technology, NO Employees, NO more authorized shares to give to insiders, NO hyped up promises ever kept, etc, etc, etc. Anybody who dares to notice any of these things must certainly be a BASHER!
"a CTL plant is going to cost a large sum of money.
Therefore, the size of the company selected to preform the task makes no difference. " - I just can't see any logic in this statement. Lets say you are an organization that needs a large custom built aircraft. Are you going to approach a tiny company with only a few people with little or no experience in aviation and building large planes or are you going to get in touch with a Boeing or Airbus?
This CTL is no mickey mouse business. The govt will want to be dealing with established companies with proven track records of having done this before and know they can get the plant built and delivered on time and on budget. Approaching an outfit like NSOL to do a job on this scale simply makes no sense IMO.
"We need the people of Kentucky to buy the shares of NSOL. Because. if they buy the shares of NSOL they will share the wealth that will be produced from the mines." - Dude you can produce some real gibberish. Since when did NSOL get into mining? Bottom line is NSOL is a worthless co, NO Rev, NO Earn, NO Cash, NO Technology, NO more authorized shares and is likely to remain worthless except to the insiders who have benefited greatly from willingness of gullible suckers like yourself to buy said worthless shares. IMO any money the state of Kentucky gives these folks will quickly disappear into the pockets of a few 'consultants' never to be seen or heard from again. I don't think Kentucky is that stupid. This CTL thing is a huge undertaking requiring massive capital expenditure and nobody is going to put billions of dollars into the hands of a few individuals called NSOL who don't have a clue what they are doing and have never been able to accomplish anything of any significance to date other than producing useless hype and PRs that go nowhere and promises that are never kept.
This has got to be the lamest pump I've ever seen!
Buddy you obviously don't have the foggiest clue how penny stocks work. I think you need to try a little harder ... $.07 and heading DOWN! No Revenue, No Earnings, No cash, running out of authorized shares for insiders and cronies, plus if they actually were able to do something significant the new money gushing in would dilute the current shares to nothing anyway. Lose-lose situation. But hey, go ahead and buy all you can. I'm sure there's lots of newly minted shares just waiting to get dumped on a sucker like you.
OMG! Nuclear Fusion Electrolysis Device ... sounds like the perfect thing for NSOL! Maybe they should forget about the CTL stuff and chase this one instead. would get them back to their nuclear roots and perk the stock right back up!
Nice idea MLM. I have this bookmarked and will check back again when I have more time...
You sound an awful lot like casso in disguise????
Everybody waiting for the next Q?
Could be a while. NSOL is unlikely to release any factual information until they absolutely have no choice. I guessing we'll see a 'Notification of inability to timely file' around the middle of next month. Maybe they'll humor us with a few more 'strategic vision' PRs in between for a little excitement until we get subjected to the inconvenient truth.
For a stock like NSOL rumors are the only game in town. When has NSOL ever provided shareholders with any reliable 'guidance' of what was actually happening between the quarterly reports instead of their usual if,and, maybe 'forward looking' BS hype.
This is almost farcical! The SEC is going to try and 'regulate' rumors! lol
SEC to Probe False Market Rumors
The SEC will crack down on firms that spread false information
LOL, guess this won't apply to OTCBB stocks where such 'rumors' are actually official corporate PRs!!!
Doc you really need to have a chat with wifey about this. She sounds like the perfect candidate for the job. Has great experience, doesn't care about the money and has a hubby with incredible "night vision" to back her up. This would have to be a win-win for everybody!
Bingo! Doc there's the answer to our prayers! See if you can convince your wife to come out of retirement and take the reigns. Then we'll be cooking with gas! (from coal of course)
Wow, that is so reassuring! Now we find out that the CEO didn't have a clue!
LOL! You forgot to mention the ship called IA that sailed in to rescue them all and then alas it was only a mirage!
LOL!! Hilarious. Only NSOL could come up with a disclaimer like that! It's kinda like an admission that the above is mostly BS.
Is this legal? How can an insider be divulging important information such as large stock purchases in a private conversation before they have filed the proper documents with the SEC? Has anyone here ever heard of insider trading laws? Or do they not apply to OTCBB stocks?
There seems to be this sudden rash of Fred Frisco stories. Seems everyone and their dog has spoken to Fred in the last day or so.
Fred is busy gobbling up all the stock he can get and NSOL suddenly has $5 Mil and a plant under construction. WTH!!
It's hard to believe a lot of people actually thought IA was going to pull some rabbit out of a hat. The mkt totally discounted that ages ago. Maybe today's action is more related to the uncertainty created by the Herda and management situation (or lack thereof) especially at such a critical time for the Kentucky deal thing.
"It is likely that the next announcement made by NSOL" - Keep it going Doc, must be tough being an optimist but hey someone's gotta do it! What probability are you placing on your 'likely'? Given the track record so far I'm betting 'likely' means the money doesn't come through and we see $.005
I'm still trying to figure out why Kentucky wants to give this rinky dink outfit money over a reputable engineering firm? If I can get a satisfactory answer to that one maybe I'll start buying...
Looks like $.11 may not be such a bright idea after all. Could get worse before it gets better (if it ever does!)
You were damn lucky to get $.15 buddy. Must have hit some old standing orders. The folks who bought your stock should have a case to sue. News of this significance should have been released before mkt open or the stock should have been halted. This OTCBB mkt is such a joke and today's action only highlights how this whole thing is run by incompetent fools.
Hey, don't forget DB is still making money! Cool huh!
"Hmm, maybe $.11 is not such a bad idea for a bid..." - Talk about being right on the money!! Ha,ha I wish all my calls were this accurate
Looks like NSOL's last stand but I think they are in way over their head on the coal to fuel business. This is a real long shot. My original question remains... can an insignificant outfit like NSOL really come up with the backing to build a multi-billion dollar plant? Seems a little far fetched to me...
What happened to the exciting news we were supposed to get for the 4th of July??? We're waiting ... tap, tap, tap ... better hurry Patty Boy, only about an hour left before the celebrations begin...
Oh, I know. Maybe it's going to be a big surprise for us released after market close! How nice of them, this is going to be soooooo exciting!! BUY quick!!
My feeling is that the lifting of the restrictions will only be a technicality. The fact that DB has never (to my knowledge) reported any significant stake in the company suggests these shares are quietly shuffled off in private transactions while still restricted and somehow further laundered. Maybe there are deals with other players who can sell stock unreported in-lieu of getting the restricted shares later. We are not seeing a large short interest so whoever has been selling out is able to avoid doing it in such a way as to trigger reporting of short sales.
I really have no idea, just speculating here on a possible explanation. Maybe someone with a good inside knowledge of the inner workings of penny stock dealers could enlighten us.
It is tough to know what to believe sometimes.
Al Gore wants us to think that rising CO2 in the atmosphere is 'causing' global warming. But I have seen arguments that the earth goes through natural cycles of warming and cooling and a warming earth 'causes' higher CO2 levels and the higher CO2 levels are NOT the cause. I really don't know. We have to depend on the scientific community to figure this stuff out and we hope they get it right. But if we're not sure then I still think it's good to play it safe and if given a choice we tread as lightly as possible on the only planet we have.
