The owner can apply for a zoning change but the government can't arbitrairly rezone the property unless they condem it and pay the present owner the fair market value. From what I have read the city doesn't have a pot to piss in.. so that won't happen. JMO.
Good day.
BD
If the current zoning were not conveyed with the property to the new owner then the value of the property would be materially changed and the current owner would loose the value, which is not going to happen.
The owner can apply for a zoning change but the government can't arbitrairly rezone the property and decrease the owners value. Unless there are some strange property laws in NH.
BD
So it takes a different zoning to run a power plant than it does to run a paper mill, which had its own power plant? How did they ever produce paper if the zoning wasn't in effect? Does change of ownership change zoning?
Just curious..

Man, I can hardly wait for the "dead cat bounce"... Something I can sink my canines into. ;)

From the "Now I have seen it all" department:
Tina, are you listening?
Tata completes acquisitions of Land Rover, Jaguar.
The AP (6/3, Karoub) reports that "Ford Motor officially unloaded its storied Jaguar and Land Rover businesses on Monday -- netting the cash-strapped automaker a $1.7 billion boost that's a mere third of what it paid for the two luxury brands." According to India's Tata Motors, "it had completed the purchase of the brands in a deal first announced March 26." Under the deal, "Tata is paying about $2.3 billion for the British brands."

INIX - For kicks and giggles, I just tryed the support number on the web site from two different phones on separate services and found that neither would even complete the call, they just go dead. Very suspicious.

You might query the folks over on the INIX board.

Good Morning WU.
For your consideration:
Solar power business bracing for price slump.
The Financial Times (6/2, A1, Harvey, Waters) reports on its front page, "The solar power business is bracing itself for a collapse in prices that could lead to a shake-out in one of the most promising areas of the renewable energy sector." Yet, "a price slump could hasten the take-up of the technology, which would help boost the overall volume of future activity, even as margins fall," according to industry analysts and officials. "Expectations of falling prices have been partly sparked by a surge in the level of manufacturing capacity for solar panels," which "is likely to lead to demand outstripping supply for the first time in years." An additional "factor driving prices [down] is uncertainty over the degree of government subsidies in some key markets for the technology." Dean Cooper, analyst at Ambrian, predicted that "the global capacity for production of photovoltaic equipment...is set to increase 'dramatically,' from 3 gigawatts last year to 15 to 20 gigawatts of production in 2010. Much of the growth is coming from China."

You can easily find the prices you want on the Yahoo financial page. Just get a quote on the stock and select a different time period on the graph. Their new chart viewing display should allow you to get it yourself. GLTY
BD
Thanks, much better....
Rock ON.
BD
Doing it that way you should be able to make it move anywhere you want. Just the action of buying should push it up... Nice.
BD
Golden, hope you had lots of shares....
BD
Dude, I could only take a few bars of that rendition. I like ARS but they need a studio...;)
Have a good holiday.

You still think this could see 40 before leveling off? We are in uncharted territory and "don't need no stinking map"

Good morning Chart and all the Professors and Students of WU.
Really like the latest SINO-Pocketbook relations you suggested. Had to fire UDHC for dismal performance, perhaps after today it will be only a bad memory.
BD
Gotta give Chart a few "Good Boys" for that call. Auuuuhhhhhhh.
En fuego!!!

OT - New interface. Unless it has been fixed in the past few days, when you read in 10x mode the page advance (next 10) can't add 10 to the last message number on the displayed page. It adds anywhere between 6 and 10 messages to the last on the current page when it updates. Hope this isn't too confusing. Makes me think too much....
I do like the streaming video capabilities that were added.
BD
SINO - Chart, not found on Stockcharts or Yahoo...

Glad someone had a good day.

There is more interest here than there is on the market floor over this one. Help required...

250K shares in the first hour will do that to a stock...

Rightly so. Flaming passions (emotion) has no place.
