Nice to see the CLEC biz is still real, it is the only bright spot that has value. Not contingent on DAC settlement, improving progames, or mlog.
Be nice to get some CLEC info/direction
Anyone going to the SH meeting?
Few more ticks Jay will be asking for donations for coffee and his bonus at the SH meeting
Voted No here....
Forget about selling em, it's gotten so ugly I'm going burn them to heat my house this winter, LOL, how sad......
finally going from ugly to fugly EOM
More like a bad horror movie, it's buried but it won't die.
Agree, is very curious
This stock has been remarkably resilient, I thought we were heading to triple 0's months ago. That said wheter this is good or bad is a flip of the coin.
Do you really want an answer..... bizarre day yesterday and still dropping today, so far..
Don't know where all this fits into the resolution of the Kite/Gobility or anything still to so with MOBL but found this on the Tenmpe site.

RE: Operation of a WiFi Network
During the August 14th Issue Review Session, Mr. Graeme Gibson (President and
CEO of Computers and Tele-Comm, Inc.) will be appearing before you in order
to outline CTC’s desire to operate the now idle WiFi network that utilizes Tempe
’s streelight infrastructure. He will also answer any questions you may have about
CTC and their experience in operating wireless networks.
Please call me at extension 8777 if you have any questions about this matter.
Any particular reason for Sept?
Kind of strange that MOBL vol/sp pop when we have a bizarre unsubstantiated rumor about Kite Energy and when we have some legitmate info on the dial-around suit, nada.
Guess it's everyone who been burned in the past just waiting to see for real what Jay has to say in the 10Q. I'm hoping this isn't a Friday release, seems like when the news is bad or nuetral then companies release on Fri.
Well, we are in the window of when the 10K should be coming out, hope it's sooner rather than later.
It's a bit of a deception nice jump but 1.9M share traded is still around 4,000 dollars, which isn't much action.
I expect when the 10K is out in the next week or two we may see some action
Guess thats true but very confusing as always... for a refresher for all look at the last 10Q with respects to the sale and default by Gobility

The potential buyer/operator and the City have reached terms for an
agreement. We are just waiting for the buyer to execute the purchase
agreement with Gobility before we take the next step.

I do hope Jay gives us some definitive direction in the 10K for where MOBL is heading. Right now I feel like he is like the guy spinning plates and most of them are wobbling and a few plates have smashed into the ground.
Tne overall debt and interest MOBL has is frightening given their ability to generate revenues (not future legal awards). I think the CLEC has real potential but have no idea if that's the direction or wheter they are just selling off assets.
What business business is MOBL really in? I don't know anymore or have lost track. For that I'm just sitting on my virtual wheelbarrel full of shares, instead of contining to add at firesale prices.
Any thought on whats going on? I'd almost forgotten about SYI, have a very small position from the ALT days.
Heading for triple 0's soon! Hope as a strategy has failed miserably. Jay needs to come out with some news/info to defend what little shareholder value is left. I do agree there could be a trickle of light at the end of the tunnel with the CLEC and lawsuit but it won't matter if we keep spiraling down the black hole.
Crash, finally twitched, it's getting a bit absurd. Chasing SP down. I was/am tempted for more kool aid but I think Ill sit tight. At this rate in a week or so we'll be looking at .00099
Well this has been holding steady for so long with no news... broken through the bottom with a new low today.... not sure we can wait for the 10K.. need some news/info

The Longmont, Colorado City Council has approved the sale of the city's wireless network to Ohio-based DHB Networks.
Previously operated by Kite Networks, the wireless network had a variety of problems since its launch last year. The city hopes the sale will enable it to live up to its promise.....

I posted this last week but since there is some back and forth. Here's what the CIO of the City of Tempe says is going on with the tempe network.
Agenda Item #4 – Tempe WiFi Update
Dave Heck summarized that there is a buyer for the network. He and Janae Naumann have drafted an agreement and the goal is to bring it to Council on June 5th for approval. If all goes well, the network could be up and running in July.

Have no knowlege about Telemetrix, but DHB Networks seems to be rolling along with muni wifi efforts in Ohio, in Longmont the only recent news I saw was below. As far as Farmers Branch not sure what's going on there, city had some agenda items in April but I'm not sure of the outcomes as I couldn't find anything posted.
Lastly, Gary Brown of Gobility and CEO Wifi fame seems to have faded into the background.
DHB Networks has toll-free number
LONGMONT — Dublin, Ohio-based DHB Networks, the company the city has contracted with to provide citywide wireless Internet access, now has a toll-free customer service number.
The number is 877-247-9479.
The company said the number is staffed with live customer support people 24 hours a day.

End appears to be near for Philly Wi-Fi network
In another blow to the municipal Wi-Fi market, EarthLink Inc. Tuesday told users of its network in Philadelphia that their wireless service will be terminated on June 12.
In another blow to the municipal Wi-Fi market, EarthLink Inc. Tuesday told users of its network in Philadelphia that their wireless service will be terminated on June 12.
The struggling Internet service provider also said in a statement that it is seeking approval from a federal court to remove its Wi-Fi equipment from streetlights in Philadelphia after the 30-day transition period ends. In addition, EarthLink also is asking the court to cap its potential liability resulting from the planned shutdown at a total of US$1 million.....

Well, if we ever get any real news on lawsuits and future direction with CLEC that and more would be more than possible.
We are just stuck with wheels spinning in the sand at this point. Jay please enlightened your beaten down shareholders...
Haven't had any luck with finding out who the MOBL law firm is or any other details.
Really wish we could get some info out of Jay on what happening with the CLEC. IMHO the CLEC biz has value that is not even closely reflected in SP. It can't be because no one knows what the heck is going on.
Have also noted some regulatory filings for the CLEC biz cancelling the transfer from USA back to MOBL. Will continue to look into the Telava situation. From what little research I've done so far Telava seems to be aquistion mode and I wouldn't be suprised that this is in regards to a company they picked up, that may have a prior relation with MOBL.
On behalf of our client, MobilePro Cop. (“MobilePro”), we hereby notify the Commission that the above-referenced transfer of American Fiber Network, Inc. (“AFN”)and CloseCall America, Inc. (“CloseCall”) from Mobilepro to United System Access,
Inc. (“USAI”) has been terminated prior to closing. Therefore, the transaction will not be consummated. AFN and CloseCall shall remain 100% wholly-owned subsidiaries of Mobilepro.

Tempe looks to cut ties with Wi-Fi firm
http://www.eastvalleytribune.com/story/113668
Garin Groff, Tribune
Tempe is moving to sever ties with the company that owns a citywide wireless Internet service after the technology firm basically abandoned the network.
The city has the power to take ownership of the Wi-Fi network because Gobility stopped providing customer service and hasn't communicated with Tempe officials. But the city has declined that and instead will look to cancel a contract that lets Gobility operate. The City Council is expected to agree to a cancellation on Thursday.
The service will continue to work - to the extent it does today - should the city sever ties with Gobility. The city is supplying power to transmitters on city infrastructure and has no immediate plans to shut them off, City Attorney Andrew Ching said.
"This action will have no direct effect on whatever limited service may or may not be out there," Ching said. The system had about 500 subscribers last year but since December has been free to anybody who can pick up a signal. The city has no way of knowing how many people still use it or where transmitters still work.
Tempe's expected action is one step toward allowing another company to take over the service by getting a license from the city. However, a new operator would have to buy the assets from Gobility and any number of creditors it has.
Gobility had been trying to sell to a California firm, but nothing came of it. Gobility is still trying to sell, Ching said.
Ching said he couldn't reveal why the city didn't try to take ownership of the network. That's a legal matter for the City Council to decide, he said, adding that he couldn't elaborate because of attorney-client privilege.

Agenda Item #3 – Tempe WiFi Update
Shelley Hearn stated that there was nothing new to report.
Councilmember Shekerjian asked that Dave Heck plan to attend each meeting and provide an update.
Thanks for the inquiry Shu, I did notice a change to the website (see below). Hope Jay makes the determination fairly quickly. Wonder what if any role YA(Cornell) may have have in those decisons. We haven't heard any thing lately on payments, but my calculation we under water with them.
MobilePro Corporation is a publicly traded company based in Bethesda, Maryland. Our current business includes mobile content through our ProGames Network subsidiary (www.ProGamesNetwork.com) and a small payphone business through our debt and equity position in Davel Communications.
