I am not up on the rescue plan deal.
I am asking for opinions here.
With the selling of the Hollister mine to whoever, and selling the Southgold subsidary (Burnstone mine) to Wits gold, does GBGLF get any ounces of gold production of these 2 mines in the future? if so what percentage of burnstone goes to Witz and what % to GBGLF? It seems for GBGLF sp to go up much, they would have to be profitable when the mines become profitable at some point in time in the future.
Thanks in advance
So what is the general opinion.....
Would it be better for for existing shareholders for a buyout or a merger?
Great Basin Gold (GBG) watch for Potential Buyout or Merger this coming week ventures Sierra World Equity Review
Following the announcement by Great Basin Gold (GBG) that that it has suspended operations at the it's Burnstone mine located in the Witwatersrand Basin of South Africa as at September 11, 2012 and that is seeking financing for the immediate costs associated with the shut-down which it has NOT secured yet, Sierra believes that this coming week will bring news of a buyout or merger for GBG shareholders. Sierra and the team are closely investigating and monitoring developments.....Remember Sierra told you first! Check back for updates....Sierra World Equity Review currently hold no positions in any of the companies mentioned in this report.....be the first to read our new posts follow us on Twitter
GBG could possibly be halted for more than a few days.
Bigbux,
Yes I know (given 30 days to comply).
I still think GBG will notify shareholders whats happening
rather than keeping silent.
Hi all.
I am thinking the halt which we know was because of pending news, which will be....delisting effective sept 24th.
Not BK, not buyout, slight possibility of holister sale.
IMO
Hi all,
I read this this morning.
It gives us some more idea whats going on with GBG.
I feel better after reading the PR.
I am expecting 2013 to be a great year for GBG and expecting
2014 to be evev better with steady state production at Holister and Burnstone.
http://www.miningmx.com/news/gold_and_silver/Great-Basin-Gold-pins-hopes-on-Hollister-deal.htm
Good morning all.
On the Stockhouse NCTXF message board, they are discussing one of the 5 R&D assignment companies, specifically MX Group from Italy.
Someone on the stockhouse board showed DD that MX Group is in discussions with Natcore. I cannot find and post that DD, but I read the post somewhere. I sure hope this is all factual, Natcore being involved with MX Group, its interesting and exciting if it is.
It could be a huge spark for Natcore.
The following is copied from the Stockhouse board.
Does anybody on this board knows if the European partner, that asked Natcore to process wafers with a very thin LPD silica layer, is in fact the MX Group from Italy ? If so, this would open a tremendous opportunity for Natcore since the
MX group has been chosen to build (between 2013 and 2015) the world's largest solar parc in Serbia. An investment of €1.75 billion is involved with this project. Read all about in following link
www.mxgroup.it/public/userfiles/serbia_uk.pdf
And a later post following (incorrect figures)...
that would be insane! 17.5 billion in total. this is in regards to what had been posted about the mx group having a contract to construct the solar park between 2013-2015-- if we can be part of this through licensing that would be fantastic! as you know one of our partners is mx, however, this doesn't mean that we will be providing our technology, but the possibility and potential is definitely there. i thought 175 billion was a misprint until i checked the link. i'm baffled by this staggering amount--this clearly shows solar is very much alive and sought after and something i strongly applaud the europeans for--they have and continue to take the lead in going green--shame on canada for breaking its promise and on harper for pulling us out of our commitment towards kyoto. glta
Another later post......
"mx group has a wealth of experience. in addition to two production sites in italy, the mx solar us plant has also been in new jersey since 2010, where photovoltaic modules are manufactured especially for the us market." i don't know about anyone else but if this isn't strong enough grounds to believe this is one and the same company i don't know what could be--other than reconfirming with natcore. glta
FYI, that was me doing the dumping (about a million shares).
Needed some cash to invest in solar, the industry is really beat up.
I still have a healthy position (over 3 million shares) in Lngt.
Looks to me like BB is holding company info close to his vest,
and feels no obligation to tell shareholders, maybe because
of all the badmouthing he has recieved from shareholders in the recent past.
Just a guess.
Gustave,
I don't write much, but I read everything I can get my hands on about LNGT for 4 years now, including almost every post.
IMO, I will not believe any founders message to be truthful again. Battis should not even waste the ink to write them.
He has used the founders messages as a medium to promote the stock probably to sell shares to raise money fore the company.
I don't blame him really, he is doing whatever he can to make the company a success stepping on the shareholders in the process.
I think he cares about his company......not the shareholders.
I think PR's are a different story, in the past he has not used the PR's as a medium to promote (pump) the stock.
If in the future he does, then I will not believe the PR's either.
The Pr's go out to the world, it would have been a much better
pumping tool for Battis to raise money. But he has not used the PR's yet to promote(pump).
As of now, I believe the PR's to be truthful.
I know lots of people are underwater with this stock. If I were then I would probably be as pissed as lots of shareholders here
badmouthing battis. Yes, he stepped on us loyal (long)shareholders
and cost me money too, my average share price would be a lot lower
if battis didn't decieve us in the founders messages. I still Believe Battis is a laser genius, I believe in the Dazer,TRT and Imaging tech, and I believe Battis is doing what he can to make the company a success while stepping on the shareholders if necessary.I think good things are coming soon, delayed due to dazer improvments, the next few months should tell all IMO.
The future looks bright for LNGT.
Its been a long time coming, and a very painful 4 year wait.
We are not there yet......but looking good so far.
I for one am breathing a big sigh of relief.
I am comparing the guardian brochure and the hi resoloution
image. Is the brochure image an older unit? or photoshop image?
And the updated unit the high res photo?
The 2 units (images) are really different.....different housing at the forward end, different switch, different graduations, different logo.
As I mentioned before, now mentions in the faq's .
Is the Dazer Laser® waterproof?
Yes. The Dazer Laser® is fully waterproof up to 20 meters or 66 feet (2 atmospheres).
Hi all.
I don't post much.
I saw on the lngt website that the dazer laser questions and answers
page was updated since I last saw it.
The dazer laser guardian is now waterproof to 66 feet (2 atm).
Maybe a military requirement....maybe General Dynamics input...
who knows.... I don't.
I think a must have military requirement.
You guys sure have a grumpy attitude lately.....I am depressed at the slow snail like progress too.....yes....BB has been
too much of a salesman.....pumping the sp to sell shares to finance the companies expenses.
He should leave the pumping to somebody else,a ceo should not stoop
that low.
But, what else do we expect a pinky developmental stage company to do to get money.
I expect the 3 tiny orders will be delivered soon, but big deal,
I would like to see the (2) military award LNGT the contract,
When are awards handed out....anybody remember the dates?
Hi All,
I don't post much but I thought I would put in my 2 cents worth.
The PR's from GD and LNGT certainly do not show the general public
what is in the works with LNGT, or the full business relationship between GD and LNGT.
IMO things are just begining here and patience is key here.
We....meaning LNGT and all longs have been spinning our wheels for years and are finally at the brink of production, and IMO, a string of PR's. We could get Pr's for sales contracts at any time, a PR when the Dazer production assembly line is completed and first units roll off the line and who they will be delivered to.
We have waited this long (3 years for me), what is a little more.
I believe things are going to unfold very quickly from here on out.
I can't imagine people would sell LNGT at this stage, but daytraders
trying to flip this may find themselves at the short end of the stick
when LNGT makes a run up.
Patience longs, we are in great shape.
Have agood weekend.
Hi All,
Info below is not a complete article, they want me to subscribe
to get the rest of the article.
The URL is at the bottom to access yourself.
Looks like the path LNGT is on, and the way to go.
I am wondering if no sales have been announced by BB until
the teaming deal with GD is complete????
Virtually all small to moderate-size businesses in the government contracting arena will need to team with a larger entity on a not infrequent basis in order to obtain a place on many federal IT contracts. More and more government contract actions cover a larger slice of tasks in the information technology sector. So, to be included, presence on a team is a "must."
Once you have made the connection with a large prime contractor and have essential agreement that your firm brings a portion of the required solution to the government's stated needs, you then need to carefully craft a teaming agreement that protects you and the work you intend to perform under a contract …

Staying long
Happy Thanksgiving All,
As the longs know I do not post much however I read almost all of the posts with the exception of a few individuals who swing trade.
I am a long (2 years) and I see great things coming for LEI.
I have held all my shares and my cost basis is 3.3 cents.
Too many on this board have no patience for LEI to progress at a
normal pace for a startup company with limited working capital.
I don't consider myself patient but compared to some of you maybe I am.
Yes timelines in the past have been missed...but I give a lot of credit to BB for holding the company together with limited funding
and very little dilution,Frankly, I don't know how he managed that.
IMO we are nearly out of the woods....just be patient.
I have a lot of trust in BB and I believe him to be a very honest CEO and and an absolutely brilliant laser scientist.
The LEI team is top notch, read their credentials.
IMO John Q public does not know LEI exists yet,but just wait until
the Pr's begin to spout sales figures you will see the volume and SP soar....and when it exits the pinks...lookout.
IMO we will see PR's about sales in 2009....and if not no worries.
I am very impressed with the marketing so far especially for a pinky.
Give BB time to work his magic and just be patient.
Good day all
Yep....holding all my shares...just waiting
for the news, which I am confident will come soon.
I can't for the life of me understand why someone
would sell now...only one possible reason...they
can't pay their bills.
Question.....Does Laser Energetics use the following lab
to do any R & D work either now or in the past??? Why does it share a name with LNGT?
Thanks in advance
The Laboratory for Laser Energetics (LLE) is a scientific research facility which is part of the University of Rochester's south campus, located in Rochester, New York. The lab was established in 1970 and its operations since then have been funded jointly; mainly by the United States Department of Energy, the University of Rochester and the New York State government
STOCK PREDICTION CONTEST (END OF SEPT) - GET IN BY EOD FRI
G56B22: $0.80
JMG007: $1.25
Rob12: $1.50 with sales pr, $.30 w/out Pr.
Simple. Copy this post. Add your name at bottom with price. Let's keep this going.
Wrong again bmoon
Raman spectroscopy, LNGT's laser is used.
The back scatter is analysed with Raman Spectroscopy
measuring the vapor pressure particulates to parts per
billion (not pp million). Then comparing the signature with known signatures to identify the compound.
And they can do this at 45mph (on paved roads)...amazing technology.
I know for every buyer there must be a seller.
But who in their right mind would be selling now.
IMO, Challanging the trademark will not prevent them from
accepting a purchase order, signing the contract setting up the terms and conditions (what % down payment)and using that money to set up the production line for the Dazer.
I am wondering if they will need additional funds to set up
production or will the deposit/down payment for the order
will be enough....it suppose it depends on how large the order is and what % down. If there turns out to be an issue with releasing the completed Dazers
to the customer with the trademark name on it, then they could
accumulate the completed Dazer Lasers and ship them all at one time until the case is resolved in 2010.It probably will take that long to assemble them anyway. Or another possible senario might be to put the trademark name on with a temporary adhesive sticker, give them to the customer with the understanding (in the contract)the sticker will be replaced later with an applique.....there are options....I believe...IMO.
I am not concerned in the least with it stopping production
or delivery.
As for me...the whole issue is....
1)Do they have a sellable product that they can bring to market?
2)Can they survive this credit turmoil and get funding when needed?
3)Will they get the orders?
IMO....yes to all 3
I thinks thats a 12500% gain from .0012 to .15
if I am not mistaken
I am of the opinion that the buying in the last week is from insiders and/or people in the know of the coming pr.
Whe the PR hits we will be getting lots of new(long)investors
and also day traders riding the wave up.
I wonder what the voulme will be, I am guessing 15 to 18 million. The PP is going to explode, but who knows how high.
Hi all,
I just spoke with Dan Schall at 11:30am.
There is no truth about redesigning the dazer laser,
in other words there is no issues or problems with it.
Dan and BB feel very good about things.
Hi all,
The new Taser is $1799 US.
They give a partial refund (for law enforcement)when trading in older model guns.
It can shoot 3 times without reloading.
See the following link.
http://www.thewest.com.au/default.aspx?MenuID=29&ContentID=158365
We are positioned for takeoff.
I am interested to know the amount of $ Lngt will
recieve with the substantial dazer order.
Will it be enough to set up the dazer production line?
I agree with you runnin, you are one of the few in which
I value your opinion.
This board has become full of nonsense and vendetta's.
Too many off topic posts.
Please...everyone one this board behave as adults should.
I personally have a high regard for Dan Schall
who has always responded to my numerous calls very professionally. In my book, BB is a laser genius
because of his creativity. I am also impressed
how he managed to aquire all of Allied Signals
patents and the TRT technology.
With the proprietary technologies LNGT has aquired
I feel this company is very well positioned for
massive future growth. Growth may not happen in the rapid
order which we would like....but patience is key.
Rob
Superstartup,
Dan Schall was refering to the Dazer and not TRT.
TRT samples have not been sent out yet.
I have no more specific details
I talked to Dan Schall today.
He said Bob is currently out of the country and is
taking time to build shareholder value.
Working on turning those Dazer proposals
(mentioned in the last founders message)into possible orders.
It would be great to have an order with a % down.
Lgt,
In founders message #5 regarding the Dazer Laser....
The first two models are engineered. With recent developments we are going to have the first units available for demonstration before the end of May 2009,
They also mention in founders message #5....
There will be several press releases coming shortly on this technology and our business model for this product.
I was hoping by now they would have sent out a PR about the technology and business model.
I talked to Dan Shall today, the Dazer units available for demonstration are NOT the production intent Dazer Laser guns,...but rather a concept Dazer Laser gun which can be used for demonstration purposes. It is a functional gun but it may not even look like the production Dazer Laser guns.
Dan said the 2nd round of TRT samples have not been sent out yet (still evaluating them). Dan doesn't know if Bob will send them out or if there will be a third round produced.
The second round of TRT samples are much better than the first round...but are they good enough...only Bob knows.
IMO someone is picking up some large volumes of shares at the bid. I am still buying whatever I can every week before the news comes out. It should be soon. I am wondering if BB will hold off on the PR until the 2 Dazer Laser prototypes are completed at the end of the month (still on schedule) and include that in the PR.
I talked to Dan Shall yesterday, he said BB was very pleased with the 2nd round of TRT samples...better diffusion of light than the first round and they seemed to resolve the dust contamination that they had with the first round to an acceptable level. Anyone willing to share their GUESS
as to the SP after the Dazer PR is released. I wouldn't be suprised if they mentioned the TRT samples were sent out in that PR too. IMO I guess between 10 to 12 cents after the PR. Get ready.......
LTG,
Agreed...the MM's match the buyer and seller.
But in thinly traded pennies the MM's could be buyers/sellers
trying to make a buck on the spread too. I don't doubt
they manipulate the SP in their favor from time to time.
I often buy at the bid...sometimes it gets filled and sometimes it doesn't. One time recently I could only buy $1.75 of LNGT at the bid (the rest of the order expired) and paid approx $7 commission....Oh well.
Drillman, do we know that the low .03's were sells....or could somebody be buying cheap shares.
IMO I am expecting a PR by the end of the month, and it will certainly pop the SP but who knows how much.
I have been holding long for a year and a half and have not
sold any shares since then....just accumulating.
I read most of the posts but I don't post much.
While I am at it I might as well put in my vote (awhile back)for the SP one year from now.....I am more conservative than most....IMO near .25
I am expecting great things in the future for this company.
Good luck longs
Hello all
That large order was mine yesterday, 540,000 shares.
Others added to the total volume.
I tried accumulating the day before at .017 and couldn't get any. I think .018 is an exceptional buy on LNGT.
I believe things will be happening soon and I didn't want to
miss a big run up while trying to save a few bucks.
I spoke with Dan Schall a few days ago, He mentioned the samples should be sent out this month. Also said The Cell company labs will want to verify the results that LNGT claimed
before placing any orders for the film.
IMO the film has a huge future, and with a 90% profit margin.
The film products gives LNGT a 2nd source of income independent from the laser products which IMO could explode LNGT SP
all by itself. I feel more comfortable having a large position (2.4 M)with LNGT having 2 different technologies.
I just bought 43,000 shares at .044 (bid price)
sneak it in before the news pops.
Ok Runnin, I just bought 22,500 sh at .044
Good Morning all.
I picked up another 350,000 sh yesterday.
I have 1.25 million now.
I will keep adding a little each week.
