No. I am not. Sorry. Just saw this now.
Yeah. What was that?! Does someone know something? I wonder if something leaked.
Good to know, but, even assuming we get there, it still seems like we are a LONG ways out from commercialization! I'm bullish long term, but short term, who knows? Haven't posted here in probably a couple of years. I sold my position a long time ago and plan to jump back in at some point, but I don't think I'm ready to take the plunge yet.
I would really like to believe that is true, but given their propensity for missed deadlines, it's hard to trust what they say. I guess I'll believe it when I see it. I don't think I will jump back in until something substantial really happens.
Hmmm. So what are our chances? 50-50? Let's hope we get a final ruling soon!
Yup. If it works and they can ever get it to market! I’m still watching from the sidelines right now.
Ok, sounds smart!
That’s amazing faith! Hope it works out for you.
They always said they would use the final product to do verification tests, but it doesn’t look like they did. Human testing would be with the real thing I would think. Not sure what kind of testing this was if not done on humans. It was a very vague pr. No details given at all. Unverifiable. Hoping to publish in a future journal? I’ll believe it when I see it. Nice little pop in share price today, but not sure it will hold. I’m not a believer yet. If/when proof comes out, I’ll jump in with a vengeance, but until then, I’m waiting and watching.
Certainly true. I guess my beef with the company is all the unrealistic time lines they gave when trying to raise money. It was clearly dishonest. The first prediction was to have the validation done close to the end of 2019 or early 2020. Here we are 16 months later and it's still not done. They don't even have the prototype done. If it takes time, it takes time. That's fine, but lying about it will never work out for you in the end. it's imperative to maintain the trust of your investors and the investment community and this they have definitely NOT done.
There definitely was some pumping and then dumping going on here. Dishonest for sure. Long term we'll be fine, but that does not justify the legalized "stealing" some are involved in here. It's unfortunate.
However, I'm still excited about the stock.
LOL! OK, we got news. Not exactly the kind I was hoping for, but it'll come I'm sure.
As far as Nasdaq goes, don't we need a higher stock price to qualify?
I understand and agree with you. I think you misunderstood my post.
I simply stated a fact - that the board is quiet. It is simply one indication of perhaps low interest in the stock at least in the Ihub universe. Not many followers on stocktwits either. I think the stock remains relatively unknown.
But rather than chatter on this board, I stated that what we need is NEWS. - news from the company. That is what will get the stock moving again. So right now we wait.
Board is quiet. We need some news to get this moving again! Nasdaq up list? Do we still qualify at this share price?
I’m confused as to why these are preliminary results. If they are only preliminary, why start selling the bulbs? Shouldn’t the evidence be firm and conclusive first? What am I missing?
Sure, averaging down works, but at that point, you didn't know if it would ever come back up I don't think. Still a nice buy!
It's definitely nice to see the relationship between the gov't and company continuing, but spread out over 5 years, it's only $300k/yr so not really all that big a deal. Not surprised it did not move the stock price.
Awesome! Took a lot of courage to buy at those levels I think!
I guess I'm a bit concerned that they still don't have a working prototype after all this time. It's at least 12-15 months late. They never make their deadlines. The testing/validation is different issue. Covid might possibly be to blame for that, but then without the working prototype, how can they perform the testing?
The miniaturization seems like that would be something they should have been able to get done by now if it really is no big deal like they said. But as per this news release, they are still working on it.
Their comeback is always "Well, you want us to get it right, don't you?" Of course we do, but we still have NO validation here and they haven't exactly done what they have told us they were going to do. That pattern has been going on for a while. Maybe they have been putting more time in on developing the light bulb for Particle over this past year. Who knows?
Hopefully, in the near future, we'll get a Particle news release that will help the share price recover. If they are able to fully validate the light bulb and bring it to market, that should help the share price. And if they are ever able to bring the uband to market, we'll all be happy, but in the meantime, it certainly tries one's patience and ability to trust what we are told.
I'm holding, but a bit wary.
Let's just hope it is worth the wait! The ups and downs in this stock have been problematic and scary. I've made some bad decisions about when to buy and sell. I hope I can regain those losses soon!
We are still waiting for the Particle PR announcement/reveal. Perhaps that will help speed up the uplist?
Thanks.
Really? Cool! What is it?
It’s not being offered for sale now is it?
I don’t see anything about another offering. Has it been announced already? They just did an offering at the end of Jan.
I don't think Helen likes this stock or the company. Seems like she would be happy to see it fail. Kind of too bad.
Now that is a complicated document!
So you are saying these warrants are NOT tied to the stock performance.
What conditions need to be met for them to have value and how much value would they have?
We don’t even know if there is a uband at this point.
I think part of the problem is that there are absolutely no details about what this partnership means financially to the company. Without that, how can anyone place a value on it? How will FNGR get paid? How much? Is this a trial thing?
Then there are longs who sell the news too.
THANKS!
What kind of news are we expecting? Why next week?
New to the board. I have a question. I've been searching the internet to try to find out the exercise price for NDRAW. The warrants have been trading up nicely lately. Not sure whether to buy warrants or the stock so I wanted to know the exercise price. I found this board by searching for NDRAW. Does anyone know the exercise/strike price for the warrants?
Thanks.
"I would love it to be right."
Personally, I hope Soaringeagle is right because we would all greatly profit if he is.
It seems to me too that there could be some good news coming. Let's hope we get some really good news soon. It would make a wonderful Christmas present!
Even if we are late to market, if our tech is superior and cost is less, we will do fine. The question is, can they bring it to pass? Shareholders are hoping they can, but the delays are a drag on the stock price. Some have lost confidence it seems. Until we actually get proof of concept from Mayo, it's all just a guessing game.
Could be many things - good or bad. They are not instilling any confidence into their investors, that's for sure. Still hoping for positive Mayo test results soon, but no guarantees.
Let's hope that is a motivation for him to get the job done ASAP! But he probably has enough shares without that to still do quite well. Speed is of essence here. I know they are working hard, but it could be a matter of success/failure. We're not there yet, folks. And we really don't even know how close we are either. All we can do is hope it is soon.
I too wonder why the shortie has not had to cover yet and if he didn't cover at $7.5, why would he have to cover at lower prices? He has been making money recently, although he still has margin interest to pay. Even if the stock goes to $2.5, whenever the shortie starts to cover, the stock will go through the roof. But again, if it goes back down to $2.50, he will actually be in the green. Why would he have to sell?
If he ever sells, the stock will certainly go through the roof, but we just have no idea when that will be and there's really no good reason to think it will be soon imo.
The CEO talked about getting some deals lined up, but really, who knows when that will happen? Every company talks about future deals. I like the CEO and wish him luck, but we'll have to wait and see on these deals. There are no guarantees. A lot of these guys got in when the stock was much cheaper than this so they are still comfortably in the black. Others got in later and are currently in the red so it gets harder to hold as you watch the red ink increasing. So I understand if someone needs to or wants to sell. FNGR is not the only stock out there where you can make money and right now, we're losing money. I'm still holding most of my position, but will keep evaluating things.
That was an amazing recovery on Friday after the continued sell-off!
