We should get more exposure and see more trading volume next week with DGLY opening the NASDAQ.
Good enough. Thanks again for your guidance this past year.
Mike and Rawnoc are you guys back in the stock or are you going to wait awhile?
In the conference call, they project a doubling of revenue for 2008 of $40 million. They said their $40 million revenue projection is a conservative figure and only considers their current products (e.g., in-car video and flashlight). It does not include any revenue from future products such as the motorcycle, bus, or military applications which they plan to roll out this year with some of these starting in the second quarter. They also say the revenue for the 1st quarter of 2008 will exceed this past quarter even though they completed delivery of the $5 million international order. They say the slow down in the economy is not affecting their sales at all.
They currently have manufacturing capacity to build up to 1,000 units of the in-car video within a month's time at a 40 hour work week. I've heard in the past they could also increase the number of shifts to expand capacity if necessary.
They're sitting on over $4 million in cash and they have no debt.
Agreed. They must have great news if they're willing to draw such attention to themselves. I'm looking forward to the conference call tomorrow.
Here's a recent exchange on a police forum I located where police officers working in the field were giving feedback on Digital Ally's in-camera video system. It looks like they like them. That's a good sign for future sales, IMHO.

Posts: 28 You should check into the Digital Ally camera's.. I believe that is the name of them. They are the in car camera's with the monitor built into the rear view mirror. My department has had these for about a year now and they are very effective. No truck mount or anything like that....All in the mirror. No complaints from me on this camera.

We are switching to those as well. The rear view mirror leaves something to be desired but overall not a bad design and the video is nice and clear. "

I imagine they'll wait until the conference call on Feb. 21st to make any announcements.
FYI, Yahoo Finance has a DGLY message board now.
Canadian firm Venator Capital Management is bullish on Digital Ally in an economic downturn as we enter 2008. Venator Capital Management won the 2007 Financial Post Stock Pickers' Challenge. Here’s an excerpt from a January 10, 2008 article in the Financial Post listing their 2008 picks:
"It was a tough market last year. It's just not a good time to be in small caps and it's definitely not a good time to be in value stocks either. Value stocks with growth are always going to be a good way to go. And get the strong balance sheet. It's not a time to be betting on turnarounds. When the economy is not doing so well, it's much tougher to turn your business around."
"I think it's also challenging for Canadian investors to read all these amazing things that are happening to commodity prices out there. And then the harsh reality is that the Canadian dollar has more than kept pace with a lot of these things. I think you have to be more aware of the currency now."
Mr. Osten and partner Stephen Andersons are sticking with Sangoma and Hammond, noting that while the latter's shares have risen, its valuation really hasn't. "In the case of Hammond, you're really betting on overall activity levels..." in oil sands, mining, global infrastructure, alternative energy and power.
Digital Ally "is leading the move" from analog to digital in the police car video surveillance market. However, Mr. Osten is more excited about its new product, a flashlight with a built-in digital audio and video recorder.

The RSI and MACD look good! It appears the profit-taking is ending and we've reached some consolidation at these levels.
The revenue growth for this company is astounding. I look forward to that 4th quarter earnings report. If the company was willing to tell us in late December that we will have quarterly revenue of at least $6.7 million (i.e., they stated revenue will exceed $19 million for 2007), then they are setting us up for an upside surprise, IMHO. My guess is we will easily have over $20 million in revenue for 2007.
Mike, thanks for your recent DD... interesting stuff.
What's impressive is that the HOD purchase at 7.91 was for over 18,000 shares!

Mike,
It looks like I bought in at the right time. I only had to wait a couple days for that NASDAQ listing! We should see some interesting price action in the coming weeks. Now that DGLY has a NASDAQ listing, it will hopefully attract some investment fund purchases since the company is so financially healthy and it is no longer listed on the OTCBB. As I'm sure you know, many funds can't purchase stock off the Bulletin Board so it appears we are in a good place.
two-bit
Ron,
It will all depend on how well they can manage their production growth, but it would not surprise me if we hit those numbers.

I agree your order should have gone through especially if the share price dropped below your bid and there wasn't any conditions to the trade (e.g., AON). I'd switch brokers if you continue to have problems.
One other thing I'd like to see with this stock is a sustained increase in volume. It's hard to get orders filled with such poor liquidity. I think that's another drawback to this stock.
I haven't changed my view yet as it still appears to be trending down, but I'll be keeping an eye on this stock.
Thanks Mike.
Mike,
What's your estimated date for NASDAQ approval?
Also, any concerns about future sales since we haven't had any more large orders PR'd in the past few months?
Thanks for the feedback dollar. I agree there is something going on in the background (good or bad), time will tell.
Tune out the madness and don't sell any shares until next week at least. $5 calls for December end on Friday so they want to make sure this thing stays under $5 at all costs. We'll make a steady climb back up next week as rational investors start to wade in due to the fundamentals which are crazy good for FRPT at these levels. Those who have patience to wait out the manipulation due to heavy shorting will do really well in the near term. All IMHO and GLTA!
I think this stock will continue to fall in the near future due to the double negative of tax loss selling (until EOY) and the increasing number of shorted shares. The latest short sale report for Nov. 30th shows JAVO has close to 2 million shares shorted (i.e., 1,774,894 shares). This was a 20% jump from the previous report two weeks prior. I wouldn't touch this thing until spring unless there is some new development that changes JAVO's present condition... all IMHO.
I agree AAGH's a bargain at these prices. The million dollar question is... when does the rest of the market figure that out!?
Thanks for updating the iBox, Spark.
Well, if there was shorting, you're right about the 12/03/07 date. We should see some buying pressure then.
We should also be mindful of the "wash sale" rule. If some of those sales during the selloff after the Q were a tax strategy to recognize some capital losses for those that bought AAGH in the .30's, we'll probably see some buying pressure due to that effect within a few weeks as well.
I also don't see much selling pressure beyond .10 now so I'm comfortable with my position.
Media, what's your thoughts on this strange trading day?
Yep, I definitely sense a PR next week. No one blindly buys this stock up, price be damned, unless they know it's ready to fly again. Absent Han's pathetic attempt to manipulate the close, this thing is primed for another launch Monday.
It was probably you Han...
What are you talking about Han???
Lucky,
Well, I finally got my rally!
I would like to think that someone finally saw the light and realized that AAGH is fairly priced at .20 (even without the WWTBAM revenue) and started buying it up on the cheap. However, my other guess is that we are scheduled for another PR on Monday and friends of Mak are loading up. We've seen this before...
that's just my two-bit opinion on the subject.
WOW! Up 40% with no news...
There must be a big PR scheduled for Monday.
Yep, must be big news scheduled for release on Monday. I think we're back in business...
Someone can't get enough of this stock. It just hit .12. We're up 35% now!!!
Didn't you guys get the news????
AAGH is having an after Thanksgiving sale!!!
Today only, the stock is 50% off from 9:30 AM until 4:30 PM!!!
:)
I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving...
LOL Media!
Interesting... stockta.com shows AAGH with tremendous support at .08 PPS (with confluence of 27) and very little resistance up and beyond .35 PPS (with confluence ranging between 2 and 5).
Check it out:
http://www.stockta.com/cgi-bin/analysis.pl?symb=AAGH&num1=1&cobrand=&mode=stock
The wild card of course is another show. I wouldn't bail out of AAGH right now because of that. AAGH has successfully rolled out a show in China and can now put their efforts into adding another one. They could announce another show at any time. If they did, the PPS would skyrocket again and maintain a higher share price level going into the new year with anticipation of revenue guidance in early 2008.
From the Q:
"Management sees the Company’s entry into TV entertainment as a synergistic expansion leveraging our expertise in China advertising sales. As mentioned, management believes this segment holds tremendous opportunity for growth. As such we are currently reviewing additional opportunities in TV entertainment and Interactive Programming."
Let's place bets on how many times we see Han's DD post before we get actual revenue guidance from the company. I'm guessing 593 times. I picked such a low number because I think we'll hear in January.
We should also get guidance in January on this roll-out mentioned in the Q:
"Beginning January 1, 2008 Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? will also be distributed through regional TV channels in mainland China of which there are hundreds."
