Fortify man its been a while. I still think Global Marine is fighting it but to date i have not heard anybody getting their divisions. I had heard once that wilf was telling the gov. hat he would trade his division for the contract to clean up the mercury but i don't know what came from that? I have been here long enough to know something of value wouldn't stay long in a safe if it can put food on someones table. One of them gold coins we found i seen one similar on-line that auctioned for $42,000.00. Really hard to believe that is still just laying around. But you never know?
Yep what a joke. Probably one of the top few most important shipwrecks ever discovered in the Caribbean. And the best research done was wilf talking to someone at Dennys about whether the jade statues were Mayan or Aztec.
And the biggest bummer is our artifacts being displayed in Santo Domingo and not one word about who discovered or recovered them and even got the location wrong.
Neb, I am sure if wilf received the division of five years ago he would like to keep it secret but i have now twelve years here and i have learned there are very few secrets here. Im sure i would have heard if the division occurred.
I am sad by the death of Bill, He was a facebook friend and often "liked" my posts. He dove with us on at least one occasion. I remember him as a nice knowledgeable fellow who loved diving.
To take a boat out to sea down here requires a navy "dispacio" so a boat can not leave port without first submitting an itinerary and crew list to the Navy. If you sway away from that itinerary you might find yourself in some trouble. So if you say "we are going to go film the Scipion" and then you have a diver die many miles away on a shipwreck that was not on your itinerary you might find yourself in a little hot water. At least they would sequester the boat and do a full investigation. Especially now with so many mysterious American deaths. I now live a couple of hours away from where wilf keeps his boat. So i am not there to get the full scope. But i do still stay in contact with my crew who have told me that the boat has been sequestered and i heard waiter joey has returned to the states.
Again very sad about Bill. But here you have a person (wilf) who screwed his last captain and crew, decides to buy a boat and re-crews it without even considering paying at least something to his last captain and crew returns to the same town. And then decides he is above the law, well, you are breaking many rules of engagement with Mother Karma herself.
Alpha66 thanks for asking. So far so good.
Thanks Neb. perfect analogy. I still own 2.5 million shares and consider myself a shareholder (duh) here we have a DBM spokeswoman who surely has inside info. Now it appears the DBM president has died and still no news. What boat what permit what crew what assets? why so much trading with no news?????
Cowhan Eggli as Sec. and Treasurer, Paul Gardner as Director and William Glodowski as President
This is what i find as DBM director treasurer and president.
Very sad to say a man who dove with me and became FB friends we even found treasure diving together passed away June 13th. His name is william Glodowski. A very good man. Not sure how he got mixed up with wilf blum. On FB his son says he died of a massive heart attack and could not be revived. Only speculation but i fear this is the same man who passed away on wilfs boat.
My condolences to his family
RIP Bill

true and neb,
i do not know anything about what wilf is doing? Nor do i care to. Whatever he is doing its with money owed me. I know form my whole adult life being a captain you dont hire a waiter to run a boat full of divers or dare send him out on the open seas. Especially here where its very unforgiving.
My guys been calling me for the last two days. They say a diver died from head or neck injuries. I cant verify any of this but just the reports im getting that the Navy has the whole crew in the capitol investigating the matter. I also heard the person who died was a novice diver and was allowed to be diving in adverse conditions. Also heard there is some problems that they were diving without the proper permit. However i dont know what permit you need just to dive unless of course you own a treasure diving outfit? Not sure. Have not heard anything from my crew that it was just a heart attack.
Still no permits here. I am very close to the folks here who dole them out and nope nothing moving on that front. I cant imagine with this incident that permits will be coming any faster or ever.
Ok then what i heard was an inexperienced diver was diving in rough sea conditions and died diving. So i guess that was a rumor and he just died on the boat? I would think if it is true and an inexperienced diver especially an older fellow was allowed to dive in rough sea conditions and died of a massive heart attack would be considered an accident. An avoidable one. My condolences to his family.
just got some frantic call yesterday about a diver died on wilfs boat. anybody here anything about this? Dustmoff you still in samana.
Under the "objective standard" definition, a pre-existing condition is any condition for which the patient has already received medical advice or treatment prior to enrollment in a new medical insurance plan.
Nice eh? Sent to the DR to find treasure by wilf blum and dpbe. Im still the only captain and crew to ever find treasure for wilf blum and dpbe. Lots of treasure went home with wilf blum. Before the DR government reniged on the contract. Did wilf try to pay back pay? Nope. Did wilf blum try to pay my boat lease? Nope. Did wilf blum offer to fuel my boat and send it home. Nope. A couple of years ago i started having issues with blood in my urine. Through an invester wilf was informed about this. Did wilf blum contact me to see if he could help? Nope. Did wilf blum buy a new boat and hire a new captain and crew before ever making good on my back pay and boat lease agreement? Yep. So now two years later they are talikng about removing my bladder because how large the tumor has grown. Over seventy people have donated to help get me to the states for help. Any of them wilf blum? Nope. Still the only captain and crew and boat that discovered and recovered treasure for wilf blum and deep blue marine. Still owed over a hundred thousand in back pay and boat lease payments and money i spent out of my pocket when dpbe didnt have any. Well maybe they will have to remove my bladder and the nice guy i am maybe i can return that favor to you WB. Pos loser and all your minions.
still waiting. Please post links/information to all this money that was raised two years ago. Cant wait to see all them donations.
lmfao
thanks neb. seems like piece of shit dbm x-ceo wilf blum would rather let un paid employees die of cancer than try to help. Still owed over $100,000.00 by the lying cheating con-man. Why do you think he passed the ceo reins over to Randy Champion. Opened a new company and bought a new boat and put back stabbing waiter joe at the helm. Thats the classic MO of the way con-men wash their hands of their past debts.
dump it. run for the hills. buy a mask and snorkel and borrow a metal detector. your chances would be better.
so transparent these wilf minions. My book " Capt. Billy's weed whackos and spanish treasure" some anonymous verified purchaser on amazon had this to say "Guy talks about drugs and wild youth. Don't waste your money." with a title like " Capt. Billy's weed wackos and Spanish treasure" what did you expect? All other reviews five stars. I actually got a spike on sales that same day that review was posted. So pathetic wilffy's minions. I heard they got waiter joe a new milk crate so he can see over the dashboard of wilffy's boat that still remains tied to the dock. Maybe so he can see the dock while riding out another hurricane. lmfao
i know TB just bored waiting on parts for my boat so i can get back to work. Getting a good laugh. Entertaining myself.
can anybody imagine after agreeing to a $2000 a month lease for the use of my 40ft diesel powered boat, and after she discovers and recovers a million in treasure, not one cent was paid on the lease for three and a half years and this is the condition of my boat post dbm. Thanks dbm.

Its funny when someone (not of my crew) can say who or what diver found more treasure. Carlos (RIP) was my dive partner. Not only did we find the first coin we found the first 79 coins before anybody else found the first one. And to say this was documented is hysterical. I guess it was I have 17,000 underwater photos of documentation of coin recoveries. Not a single one with diver joe holding a coin. Just a fact. There is no other documentation on who found what. Joe was sent early back to the states because of his inability to get along with others by wilf, or maybe joe could have been around long enough to actually find some treasure.
waiter/diver joe. Only someone one from the coast of Utah would appoint such an inexperienced and novice individual as a captain of a ship with the responsibilities of peoples life's in his hands. I have known some of the best Real Captains on the high seas. I myself have been a Captain my whole adult life. Here in the DR isn't the same tranquil Florida waters. Here is open seas and an unforgivable coast. It is un-responsible and even suicidal to appoint a never-been-a-captain to such an important position. God help them.
After wilf asked me to sell dbm's last boat he said he would pay me $25,000.00 of the then $81.000.00 in back-pay owed me. The purchaser of the boat said he would give me a $5000.00 finders fee. Well the transaction took place. wilf handed me only $20,000.00 and i never seen him move faster getting to the airport and the purchaser also reneged on our deal. So in about a ten minute time frame i again got screwed to a tune of $10,000.00.
So wilf said put all the dbm equipment in a storage facility and like a dumb-ass i did this under my name. For four years not one cent was paid on storage, Every month i had this lady at my house sometimes even crying to please pay something. Sometimes she would camp-out on my door-step for hours at a time. The museum artifacts storage also went un-paid for four years. I believe same here like the states 90 days you forfeit your belongings. Only wilf would think he would be ok waiting 1500 days to pay rent. Unbelievable. The few items stored at my house along with many of my personal items i sold through the years to provide for my child.
I'm not even sure why i'm lowering myself to this level. But here we go. Most of my hard working Dominican crew earned an average of a thousand US dollars a month. All the white Americans working for dbm earned between four to seven thousand a month. Nobody worked harder, and were away from their families longer, in our company more than the Dominicans. when after being owed over $7500.00 usd dollars in back pay for over a year did wilf secure funding from the England investors. He then passed each one a thousand bucks. wilf had blasted through $375.000.00 of a $500.000.00 investment when the investors contacted me. Because my crew and I were actually the ones findinng treasue they thought it would be best to fund me directly. Wow did that piss-off wilf. wilf had gone through all that money to dig a hole maybe ten feet deep. I was on the phone day and night with the investors. We were allotted six months of funding. With these funds we were able for the first time ever to keep fuel on boats and pay my crew on time. We never before had put this much pressure on the excavation process. Its amazing what a moral lift to having your pay come on time. Besides doing most of the diving and a real captain of two ships i also with my own personal camera documented every aspect of the operation and supplied daily reports to all investors and a detailed spread sheet of every penny spent. More to come...
In this country and even stated in our contract every company doing business here in the Dominican Republic BY LAW needs to supply medical insurance to all of its employees. DBM did not. Its because of this i still owe thousands of dollars to a medical facility in Utah for unpaid bills for my brain tumor operation. Probably destroying my credit. Thanks DBM. oh and two DBM company trucks totaled here also w/out insurance. And yes BY LAW all vehicles are required to have insurance. I guess insurance is not a priority for a wilf ran company. And when this government heard their Dominican divers (that were risking their life diving for an American company) did not have just the basic form of health insurance they were appalled. That was, i am sure, another nail in our coffin down here.
lmao. Its amazing to me why DBM's lying wilf and waiter joe needs a spokeswoman to fight their battles. Low Life Cowards.
This is the dbm DR company truck two weeks after we had a brand new diesel installed. waiter joe took wilf to the airport was supposed to return that day to resume diving. Next day we heard about the accident. Wilf told me to just leave it.(no insurance) I didnt, Cheecho and i took a bus to Romana and i paid the tow truck $500.00 to drag the truck back to Samana. I wanted the engine. The tow truck driver said the person who wrecked this truck was drunk. And Romana was fifty miles in the other direction. captain joe cant even handle a truck. hey joanna maybe ask joe why wilf sent him back to the states while we were still finding treasure? yeah real stand up guy, right?

Better yet, post a photo of any boat, ship, kayak, rowboat that waiter joe was ever in command of prior to me hiring him out of a waiters job to dive for dbm. ROTFLMFAO UR KILLING ME HERE. Joey row your boat ashore hallelujah. lol. captain is a title you earn, not given.
Two weeks ago while loading my boat for a fishing trip the ice and fuel guys failed to remember to put the scupper plug in which has been routine for a couple of years now. in less than a half hour my boat sank. It happened at sunset so nothing could be done until morning. By then the thieves had their share. All my electronics went down with her. $2000 in fuel, ice, bait and food lost. Left me standing w/out a cent to my name. wilf has a recovery and salvage boat here in the DR and heard about it first hand and made no effort to reach out to me for assistance. And now these sarcastic "sinking feeling" comments. MO for wilf and his minions. A few investors have helped but nothing compared to what i will need to fully recover. Still trying to raise a child here and still trying to regroup after being shafted from wilf and dbm. And i am sure a good laugh to wilfs yesboys but man this ocean down here is brutal and karma has some harsh payback methods. Good luck wilfee boyz
No i dont think it does. wilfie opened a new company bought a different boat hired a different crew put waiter joe at the helm, and two years later sill hasent worked. Im sure that investor who footed that bill and imagine still does is not very happy about that, along with every other investor wilfee fleeced.
Kind of like me and my crew. i was never paid a dime on three and a half years lease on my boat @ $2000.00 a month.(The only boat and captain that ever recovered treasure for dbm) i put in $22,000.00 of my hard earned money in this company when wilfie 'lying piece of shit' said he would pay me back. Im stilled owed $61.000.00 in back pay. So whats that? $167.000.00. So you can kind of understand why wilffee had to hire waiter joe as his new boat steerer. Waiter joe was the only one in the company im aware of that was ever paid in full. So that makes sense. I hired waiter joe after months of him begging me for a job. How does waiter joe repay me? goes behind my back and takes the captains job. I think low life pos scab comes to mind. Maybe ask wilfee wheres all my guys dbm shares he took to free up four years ago. Just recently those shares could have put several thousand bucks in their pockets. cant wait get to samana to inform them on that new revelation. They all dove and worked their butts off when none of us was getting paid on the notion they could one day cash in these shares so they were screwed twice by wilfee. Theres a little sinking feeling for ya.
just uploaded my book to amazon. Just the kindle version for now. Larger process for paperback but i am working on it. Says 72 hours until kindle version is ready. Headed out on another ten day fishing trip tomorrow. I expect the sales of my book will be in the millions by the time i get back. hahahaha ok maybe five. But whatever its out there if anybody cares to read it. Warning not for children or Mormons.
Its three books in one. Last section and longest about the treasure hunting with dbm.
Capt. Billy weed, whackos & Spanish treasure
by Billy Rawson
I had heard the other company down here won their lawsuit and in addition to receiving their division they would also be able to resume operations. However that has been almost a year ago. Nothing here happens in a timely manner. And to believe that one company went through the legal process to win their case that other companies that didnt go through the same legal process would just follow suit, in my experience here that is only a pipe dream. Its all about the money here. If you dont pay you dont play. Regardless on who won what, where and when.
Carlos the best diver on my crew went for a three day fishing trip ten months ago. And is presumed dead. I am his neighbor here in rio san juan and every day i pass his house to see his wife and two kids three and five years old sitting on the porch still hoping he returns. The other day i was building lobster traps and a seven year old boy would come by and help. He looked so much like Carlos i had to ask who his father was? He told me his father was Carlos and hes out fishing. When i met his mom she told me kids birthday just passed and the kid only ask for his father for his birthday present.
I have lost three great friends recently. And here good friends are hard to come by.
RIP Carlos you are truly missed by many
Yep a bit of a sad day for me. Ken Rose who kept the Kirby group together for so long who teamed up with wilf blum and DBM that eventually led to me discovering treasure passed away this morning. Gonna miss you Kenny, you were a cheap ole bastard but always paid your debts and didn’t lie out of both sides of your mouth. An old hippie from way back. With great optimism. Sorry Kenny you never did find your galleon. Sure wasent from a lack of trying. RIP my good friend.
Zee i really believe its a great book for a movie, not all of it, it probably gets a little boring when i am describing how a Mormon CEO of a company never paid me for discovering the oldest treasure transport shipwreck in the Caribbean. Although the few who have read it say thats the best chapter, And then being stranded here without any financial help from the company who sent me here. But the rest is a lot of fun.
Mike the book is finished, i did have a publisher ready to put it on the market. Then he decided to do his own editing. And like most authors i wanted some say in the editing process.
He had cut sixty pages from the book and some of my favorite parts. When i questioned him about that he threw a fit and we parted ways. After 9am this publisher was already drunk and that showed in his editing.
Then a good friend of mine offered to pay to have it professionally edited. Now its reads like a book and i am very proud of it. The lady who edited it emailed me last week with news, that in her words, a bona-fide Hollywood producer is interested in making a movie with my book. And was asking about the movie rights to it.
That was and still is very exciting. I am still waiting to hear back from her. Maybe nothing comes of it or maybe i become famous one day for it.
I can tell you this, it isn't for children and if it wasn't for statue of limitation laws i wouldn't publish it. There are several sections to the book, the treasure finding section comes at the end.
