You have been in a long time. Are you sure your not pullin our legs just so you don't have to buy us the good Whiskey ! !
PedroM :
You must be new here.. the FDA is government run , nobody knows when they will look at this and respond. don't beleive everything you read on this board , And I must say , I am starting to agree with past post's , this is starting to turn into the next " Yahoo Board "
Any of the Medical Professionals on this board plan on attending the RSNA Show at the end of the month ?
"Our net loss was $1,448,768 in the first nine months of 2009 compared to $505,230 in the first nine months of 2008, a 34% increase, again as a result of a decreased revenue and the recognition of a payroll tax liability with the Internal Revenue Service for $169,540 for the year ended 2003. The Company felt that this issue was resolved in an earlier period and is now settled"
How could they not know this was not settled!!!
been invested from day one , this is a little concerning, but still have faith ......
Nobody knows approval date for this. FDA is government run and they make there decisions in there own sweet time. we will just know when we know, but we are as close as we have ever been....
I personally pick #3.
Dean has said he is going to be having these conference calls more frequently to keep us investors better informed. I think this is just what this is , no new news....
anyone see the new images on the Website ?
I guess I thought they were going to post images of some part of the human body instead of images of the machine itself.. This was a let down......
Here's an interesting article: Could be good news for I-3
WASHINGTON, (Reuters) - A Democratic Party push to find money to expand U.S. health insurance coverage threatens future sales of MRI machines, CT scanners and other high-tech imaging equipment that detects cancer and other conditions.
Legislation in the House of Representatives would cut payments for the tests by an estimated $4.3 billion over 10 years. If the lower rates take effect, doctors may be less willing to buy pricey equipment or to upgrade to newer models made by General Electric Co, Siemens AG and Philips Electronics NV, analysts say.
"If you're not going to get reimbursed as much, you are not going to spend $1 million on a new machine," said Capitol Street analyst Ipsita Smolinski.
Doctors, patient advocates and equipment makers are lobbying to try and defeat the cuts before Congress resumes work in September on a broad, $1 trillion healthcare overhaul. They argue that patients will suffer with less access to tests and up-to-date technology, particularly in rural areas.
While there is broad support for expanding insurance coverage and improving the nation's healthcare system, "we certainly don't want to do it on the backs of patients who rely on early detection and these tests," said Tim Trysla, executive director of the Access to Medical Imaging Coalition, a group of doctors, equipment manufacturers and patient advocates.
The industry has drawn scrutiny in recent years after a sharp increase in scans using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT) and positron emission tomography (PET), the most advanced and more expensive technology. Critics say many scans are unnecessary.
"Radiology is an area where the volume of procedures has been steadily increasing. So when people talk about health reform and taking costs out of the infrastructure, the industry is one in particular that has a target on its back," Morningstar analyst Bill Buhr said.
In a report in June, the nonpartisan Medicare Payment Advisory Commission said use of imaging scans grew nearly twice as fast as other care between 2002 and 2007. Medicare is the government's health insurance for the elderly and disabled.
While the growth rate slowed between 2006 and 2007, the commission said it worried that, "some of the increased use in recent years may not be appropriate, which contributes to Medicare's growing financial burden on taxpayers and beneficiaries."
The level of Medicare payments also might encourage doctors who own the equipment to order more scans, the report said.
In 2006, Medicare paid $1,118 for the most commonly billed MRI test, a scan of the brain, according to the Government Accountability Office, the investigative arm of Congress.
Manufacturers say the industry already took a sharp hit when payment cuts were imposed in 2007 as part of a U.S. deficit-reduction law and the spending has declined.
Imaging services are under fire based on an "outdated perception" that use of expensive tests is growing rapidly, said Ilyse Schuman, managing director of the Medical Imaging and Technology Alliance, an industry group. "It's just not the case anymore."
Medicare payments to doctors for advanced imaging services fell 19.2 percent to $11.8 billion in the first year after the 2007 payment cuts took effect, Schuman said.
The House legislation would cut payments to doctors who perform the tests by altering the reimbursement formula. The Senate has not finished drafting its bill amid criticism from Republicans and moderate Democrats about the high costs of overhauling the entire system.
Some imaging cuts are likely to survive as lawmakers seek savings from nearly every sector of the healthcare industry, analyst Smolinksi said. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services also has proposed imaging payment cuts that could take effect next year if Congress fails to act.
Medicare rates often influence private insurers' payments.
If lawmakers scale back the overall cost of the healthcare bill, imaging services may not be hit as hard, Smolinksi said.
Cancer patients and other advocates are lobbying lawmakers and officials at the Department of Health and Human Services and the White House to try to defeat the cuts.
The groups argue the high-tech scans are critical for early detection of diseases that can improve care and help bring down costs. If payments get cut, some imaging centers may close, forcing some people to drive longer distances to hospitals for the tests, said Andrew Spiegel, chief executive of the Colon Cancer Alliance.
Or, "if you keep cutting back, these imaging centers aren't going to have money to buy updated machines ... we're going to be stuck with decades-old technology," he added
Being (hopefully)close to FDA Approval , you will not see Dean or Mike posting on this board. I would advise you go to there website and drop him an e-mail , he may be more apt. to respond to that, and if he does ? a little heads up to the rest of us would be appreciated... Good Luck
Have you ever called and talked to anyone at I-3 Mr. Sano ?
Lets look at it another way:
GE sells 4000 to 6000 of these a year ( don't know exact number but I beleive this is in the ballpark) Lets say worse case.
4000 x 1,000,0000 ( which is what I beleive GE is selling for and if you add options to this, its is more than likely even more) Thats 4,000,000,000. ( again low case scenario )
would I sell for 12 1/2% of its worth ? ? no.
Don't get me wrong , I'm not saying they would get 4,000,000,000 for the Rights but I can't help but think they would do a little better than this if they were to sell outright.... JMO of course...
"I3 will not sell ANY units....we will be bought and sold VERY soon after FDA approval..."
I have been hearing this for months and curious why you think this. Is it because some of the bigger boys have signed NDA's ? This does not necessarily mean buy out. Some one metioned this months ago and now it seems alot of people have latched onto it. I'd love to hear some supporting evidence to this claim......
Fair enough Mr Sano: Although I do agree with you on the Share price's. Hell , Since we have one foot in the clouds already , Let shoot for $100 pr share ! Never hurts to dream a little and this is possibley what it is taking for some people to keep there investment here alive...
Live and let live.
"so sorry I'm not running away because I don't know the end results " Why would you be sorry ! I don't remember anyone making reference to this. I was just curious with as many unanswered questions you have , why you would still have enough faith in them to stay invested. And apparently I am content that Dean has things under control or I would'nt be here , You apparently must feel the same way because this has been your question for months ( with no answers) and yet you are still here as well... Good Luck to us all ! !
Mr Sano: I am confused. I have been reading your questions on all different boards for months now , and although your questions are very legit , the bottom line is noone seems to have the answers to these questions ( or , are unwilling to submit them ) So with this being the case. Why on earth would you not just pull your money out and invest it into something that you have complete and total knowledge of...
I am not sure I would keep my money tied up in a stock that I had so many questions about and have had no answers to them.
Most of us are here because we have faith in I-3 and Dean.
He does not answer all of our questions and at times it does get frustrating , but until we hear one way or the other , we are just riding it out , and that is our decision. I think I-3 is at the point where they must be extremely cautious about what they say and to who.
I'm just not sure if I had so many unanswered questions for so long , I would still be comfortable with an investment...
You say our competitors are in the FDA's ear trying to block approval ?
If you remember correctly , the FDA shut down GE's c-arm business for over a year a few years back for not complying to regulations..
How much bigger of a competitor can you get ! !
If they shut down a major corp. like GE what kinda pull can these other competitors possibly have!
not sure I agree with you on this one.
Good to see you back Dean ! ! I wouldn't put any stock into anyone on this board ( or other boards ) That are Bashing I3.
those of us who did our homework know and understand the impact this will have once approved and gets out there and are willing to wait the wait..
I think you said it best yourself Dean
" To those in doubt , Sell and move on "
Where all behind you guys and know your working your a** off to get approval. I think some people forget that you and probably other employees are share holders as well and are waiting eagerly for approval also..
On Friday, March 20, 2009, Dean will appear on MoneyTV, discussing recent updates and progress made by Imaging3. This is a program intended to provide information and updates through a mass media platform, as Money TV is viewed in many countries including the United States. The interview airs on most cable and satellite stations, or can be viewed at any time at www.moneytv.org.

He doesn't have to say a positive thing , thats the beauty about the I-Hub , You can have your own opinion good or bad..
Excellent Post Mr Sano, Some well thought out points..but I still think the Money TV is not a bad way to go.
I guess we agree to disagree on this one
I agree with that point. But most the people that watch Money Tv are investors, or potential investors, and I think that is part of what we are looking for.
And I have nothing against Sano , he brings up some very valid points, just seems sometimes to try and beat on the company.
JMO...
Mr Sano: Since this is just " plain hokey" as you say, you must have a better marketing strategy.
Money TV is just a way of getting people aware of this product , and being a business owner myself , repitition is the best way to do this, hence the multiple spots on Money TV.
Money TV Shows:
45 million tv's in Western Europe
70 million in the US
and multiple other countries as well.
I'm curious to hear your strategy as I am sure I-3 is open to anything that might get the name out farther , faster and inexpensively..
aaaannnnnddddd - - - Go ! !
I don't beleive Medtronics Is Real time.
This article refers to
"advantages of the new O-shaped portable computed tomograpy (CT)---"SCANNERS"--- which provide real-time 3D imaging in the OR"
They mention Medtronics along with I-3, but don't specificly claim Medtronics to be real time..
because of I-3 holding the patent on the Real Time aspect of it , I think it highly unlikely Medtronics is actual Real time.
If you go to Medtronics and read up on the stealth , there is no mention of "Real Time" on the application.
I could be wrong on this though , Dean is the expert , Let's see what he has to say.....
Dean said in a few post's back that there should be a newsletter coming out around the first week in February.
Hopefully this might answer some of our questions.
Thanks Dean...
Dean: Can you shed any light on who these other hospital and clinics are ?
I know your limited , but I appreciate anything you tell us.
And also , do you know if I-3 will be putting out a newsletter in the near future ? It seems like it's been awhile since we have heard anything, and Again , Appreciate anything you can tell us.....
I just don't know what paticular case you are referring to ?
pardon me for being naive , but how does this trial pertain to I-3....
I doubt the Big companies are giving any incentives, since the FDA shut GE down for almost a year, ( and they are one of the biggest ones out there), for not following FDA Guidlines...
I wonder if this is going to set us back a step...
Let's hope not.
Dean:
Are there any updates that you can give us about the FDA ?
150 is the number I-3 says they can produce in there current facility in a year.
I haven't seen anyone here " shooting out numbers that are 150 more" , as you say...
And Again , 1-800-900-9729 ask for Dean or Mike. I have had several discussions with Mike and he is more than happy to answer any questions that he can......
This is a post off the Yahoo Board. Wow ! ! Don't know what brings him to this conclusion.
Personally thinking they can do better than this...
"50 units a year? Be realistic!! If they can sell one a quarter in the first 18 months after FDA approval everyone will be happy."
Appreciate the quick response, but seriously, Dean , 1:30 in the morning ? Way to dedicated. I don't have a life and even I'm not on here at that time.
Go to bed , get some sleep.
Dean: Can you tell us if you have had any dicussions with any government agencies about the Dominion ?
Has'nt been a whole said about the Non-Destructive uses for this as well , just curious if they are showing any interest with the enthusiasm that the Hospitals and Doctors are.
Appreciate anything you tell us........
Wishing Happy Holidays to all on this Board and to all at I3 ! !
Wishing for another and Better Year for all......
