STSI- Didn't add as I don't want to get too deep into this one. As I said yesterday, I'm a bit worried about it and yesterday's action didn't help. But still holding with a wait-and-see attitude.
Also following HH closely, I've traded them a few times over the years. They've got a nice little niche business that actually makes money!
Decent support at .55, floor at .50. If it gets to .55, I'm going to start buying.
Will do. Small/medium-sized position @ .82, so I'm cool.
STSI- Have a small position, but starting to second guess it.
SK, what's your opinion? TIA.
OT: I have to admit that in the course of jumping in and out of LLEN I got caught, and I find myself the not-so-proud owner of 3,000 shares. Meanwhile, they're into the fourth month of a trading halt!
I've pretty much just written off the money. Does anyone have any thoughts on this stock? TIA.
I'm out 63K shares of HTM at .95 from .79, +$10K. Might be early, but don't want to take any chances.
Looking for my next purchase!
Re bitcoin investors: I hate to see anyone lose money, but there's a little part of me that thinks of the old saying, "A fool and his money are soon parted."
Warren Buffet said, "The idea that it has some huge intrinsic value is just a joke in my view. Stay away from it. It's a mirage, basically."
I'm watching things as much as I can today, but a bit busy with some other stuff (actually, I lost a couple pennies off of PAL this morning because I got embroiled in a one hour phone call!)
Anyway, you may be right about HTM. But even if it runs some today, I think we can do better next week and I'm willing to hold.
I think you'll do well buying back into PAL, but I took all that $$$ and averaged down on my too-high HTM purchase of yesterday.
I have a boatload of shares now, but at a decent average, think I'll do OK with it next week.
PAL- Sold 50K shares at .52, + $5,500, I thank you my friend!
Regarding the Bailey quote, when GSK dumped RNA's drug last year, the RNA CEO said, "Prosensa is now in a favorable strategic position to advance the DMD portfolio."
One could make a quite humorous compilation of such remarks.
PAL: I suppose that someone who plans on buying and holding long-term would have some serious reservations about buying before next week's vote on dilution.
But I'm not sure why it would bother a short-term swing trader.
(OT: I've received some PM's from folks the past few months, but I gave up my paid subscription last year, just wasn't really using it. Can no longer PM.)
By "news" you mean the release of the 43-101?
Got ya', will do the same.
PAL- Got a ballpark target, or just going to see how things go?
TIA
Agreed. I'd add that traders--by their nature, and the nature of the game--can get too depressed by a bad day.
Set a goal for the end of the year, how much you want/need to make. If you reach that goal, life is good, you won't remember the down days.
Perseverance, secret of all triumphs. -Victor Hugo
I'm not complaining!
Also in HTM with you guys at .835.
Got it, thanks. Going to stick with this one, could be interesting!
When will the 43-101 be released?
PAL: I see that another poster is saying that dilution is coming. Any actual announcements/evidence of this, or just presenting a bear possibility?
Well that was friggin' painful, but we finished green and we live to fight another day.
Have a buy order in for another 50K @ .40 just in case. Best of luck!
In PAL with you, 50K shares @ 0.409.
There's an interesting discussion on Twitter about the relative merits of stat sig vs. clinically meaningful, with the stat sig folks clearly in the majority.
I'm afraid we're going to need more solid news than "let's look at the data in a different way" to produce a move that sticks.
You should easily be able to swing that for 10%. Best of luck!
r.- Sorry, can't respond privately.
Yes, earnings tomorrow before the bell, conference call at 8:00 am.
RNA: Released some good news AH, might spike to $10 tomorrow. Even if it doesn't, IMHO $12-$15 eventually is a given. Still patiently holding a big bundle of shares.
I don't think we're going to hear anything new tomorrow, most likely they'll just rehash today's release.
Yes, the next big spike will occur if and when they file a NDA (or, of course, buyout news. )
It's certainly good news for us stockholders! But keep in mind that they're talking about clinical significance as opposed to statistical significance: the relative importance of the two is a topic of frequent debate.
I'm still maintaining my humble opinion that the stock's not going either to the moon or to the dumps, but instead a gradual climb upwards to a more realistic valuation.
Here's a quote from mid-January, they must be referring to this:
Prosensa shares could be worth $29 with early filing, says Citigroup

Yep, it is. I'm still holding my entire position, patiently waiting for $10.
Best of luck!
If we just could get two or three up days in a row, we might be able to establish some momentum. But unfortunately for the longer-term holders, this has become something of a trader's stock.
Looking decent today. They're going to be at four investor conferences in February; a buyout is always possible on any given day, but truthfully I'm expecting a more gradual climb back to a reasonable valuation that reflects their pipeline--$15 or so.
