Is it me or is the dow and S&P making a double top or is it a head and shoulders pattern? Or am I way off base?

AGEN- thanks for the reply! I noticed they report earnings next week on Thursday before the market opens. Looking back at previous reports, they do not have a good track record of beating estimates (8 analysts or so follow 6 with a buy rating). They have a good amount of cash and I wonder if there will be any surprises when they report i.e. news on trials or a beat. I was looking at taking a long call position since it is so cheap for a "lotto trade". The stock used to trade around $10 last year.

Just curious if anyone knew anything else on the stock. Thanks again!

AGEN- does anyone follow small cap biotechs on this board? I was curious if anyone had any thoughts on this stock (AGEN). It has been beaten down, like most biotechs, but it seems like the company has some interesting things/trials in the works. They have a collaboration with Incyte and Glaxo. Also, I'm not the greatest at technical but it looks like this may be making a double bottom. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!

MRK- their HEP C drug was approved by the FDA this afternoon after the market closed. The pricing for the drug is $54,600 for the 12 week regimen. GILD's HEP C drug costs $80,000 per patient

NFLX- nice trade! The RSI is around 31 right now and is starting to look oversold. I'm thinking about taking a short Call position if it drops another couple of points.

Hi, I'm new to the board. I saw that downgrade for MRK this morning and the note of no catalysts is slightly confusing to me. The FDA is supposed to make a decision on their Hep C drug tomorrow. Also, I believe Keytruda is in about 200 different trials/drug combination trials. The CEO stated they are "chomping at the bit" for acquisitions in the size of $5 to $10 billion cap drug companies.

These days, I take analysts upgrades/downgrades with a "grain of salt". You see some downgrade a stock to "Hold" with a price target 20% higher than the current price or downgrade or upgrade a stock after it has already made big swings. Either way, it definitely didn't help the share price today along with the slide of the broader market.

I'm actually looking at getting some calls today in hopes their Hep C gets approved tomorrow and they price the drug aggressively to be competitive with Gilead's HEP C drug.

Thanks! I think it may have found a bottom and it may start turning back up. I think waiting a couple days for confirmation may be wise. If it does turn back up, I think 73-75 could be were it goes to. RCL's PE ratio is much lower than it's peers (Carnival and Norwegian)

RCL- Good Morning! Long time, no posting. I was looking at this stock recently as well. It looks like it is becoming oversold and may have a bounce. I just wonder when that MACD line will turn back up. It seems like it is trending down into the abyss. Hope all is well!

SFLY- anyone buy some Calls/shares on the buyout rumor/speculation on this one? It seems like the rumor is more of the truth but I guess the question really is, will a deal/price be agreed upon?

AAPL- Samsung released their new phone today which may have had something to do with it. I'm torn to jump back in some Calls tomorrow if it drops some more. I have a feeling they will have some nice surprises on 9/9

Sorry, I thought you picked it as a Tanker. I didn't like them going into earnings because of their subprime lending. I had a feeling it was going to get worse.

SLW- anyone notice the volume on the Jan. $25 call options? Is there a way to tell if they were buys or sells? Volume was 15k+ vs 9k open interest.

CONN- nice call! I forgot to as i have most days to pick a tanker/gapper. I need to get it into my routine. I'm so glad i sold my call options before earnings. I wish i would have bought the puts!

WLT- bought some $5 Sept 20th Puts on Friday.

CONN- my Jan $45 Calls are looking good right now after today's 5% run. Earnings are set for Tuesday; I believe in the morning. Also, I believe there is 40% short interest in the stock right now.

Sold my AAPL calls yesterday and bought some CONN call options same day. I think they continue to run into earnings but I think I will sell before the release, estimated 1st week in September.

AAPL- will it break the $100 mark this month? I think so and it looks like a lot of hedge funds think AAPL will continue to move higher. If it does break $100, I think it's off to the races. I took a Nov. $105 Call position.

Hey everyone! It's been a long time since I have posted on here. I hope all is well. It looks like the board is doing great and some great picks out there.

I took some time off but I'm back trading. Right now, I have Call options in CREE and AAPL, $55 Jan and $100 October respectively. I had a warm welcome back with some FB call options and Twitter shares which I sold right after earnings in AH.

I have two lotto picks. SCTY Aug 16 $95 calls and a real lotto pick with DNDN $4 Nov calls. DNDN is close to being dead but I figured the upside may be worth risking a few bucks.

Anywho, looking forward to posting more on here and I may have to throw my hat back into the ring with a few Gapper and Tanker picks.

AMZN- it did cross below the 50 day today for what it's worth.

I wish I had a good one but I think the market is going to correct soon, maybe 10-15%. If I'm wrong, I only bought 6 contracts. If I'm right, it will be a nice pay day.
