hurley: What does the bold mean? From what I can see, they filed the SEC financial statements, just later than anticipated. Now they are working on getting to the OTCBB. When will it happen? Who knows.... I never believe any completion date estimates I see in PRs, you will find that they are absolute BEST CASE SCENARIOS and rarely met. Every pink/OTCBB company I follow that esitmates dates never seems to meet them. The important thing is they get done. The filings got done, I believe the move to the OTCBB will get done as well.
hurley: Do you really think Sands got the $777k? Or was the $777k used to pay company bills?
PaulP: "way too fragmented of markets to figure out, and completely different value propositions"
Wouldn't something more challenging to understand be more fun to learn? LOL!! We see right through you PaulP, we know why you're here. "Learning" is not it... LOL!!
grizzy: Agree they need to get to OTCBB ASAP. eom
SirFelix: He has told us his intentions. According to him, he is here to "learn". If the acquisition of the three electronics companies goes through, he said he will leave because he knows nothing about that business. Suddenly, "learning" isn't important anymore. LOL!!!
grizzy: This is exactly what Sands wanted (albeit at a higher PPS). Eventually, the bid/ask gap will shrink to a penny and there will be more stability in the PPS, 20%+ daily swings will be a thing of the past. Volume will be very low, small-time players with a few grand looking for a quick buck will disappear from this stock. Company performance (and dilution rate) will dictate where the PPS goes, PR hype will be less of a factor.
ceres: The 3rd quarter results were reported in mid-November, just before the 45-day filing deadline. What info re: the 3rd quarter are you looking for?
Kelly 'anticipated' the conference call happening in mid-to-late November "after successful conclusion of the contractual due diligence period". It might be safe to assume successful conclusion has not yet happened.
As to Q4 installations/revenues, the quarter is not over yet, we'll know more at the end of the year.
Isn't it amazing...
how MESSAGE BOARDS are filled with people that buy at the lows and sell at the highs.
LOL!!
TFN: relax .. did you not see the "IF YOU SOLD". The message was for people that sold and are now crying about it.
The SEC won't get involved.
Not meeting revenue projections? Sorry, they are covered by the safe-harbor statement. PPS not where the thought it would be? Sorry, again covered by safe-harbor statement. There is NOTHING the SEC can do about these things as projections are not guarantees. Time estmates are not guarantees. Reverse splitting is allowed, even if Sands said they wouldn't two months earlier .... things change.
The SEC has better things to do than listen to people whining about a pink sheet stock whose PPS has significantly dropped after a huge run-up.
You took the risk, you lost the money (if you sold). Deal with it.
You are clueless, Bunny, absolutely clueless.
Look at this chart:
http://stockcharts.com/def/servlet/SC.web?c=VTSI,uu[h,a]daclyiay[pb50!b200][vc60][iUb14!La12,26,9]&a...
The low on 9/26/05 was lower than the low for today, the close today was not any lower than at least two other days in the past three months. So how exactly is today a new 52-week low? ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!
rruff: How's about Sands saw there was no more shares left to authorize, closing one doorway to raise capital. In order to open that doorway, he needed to R/S. That is probably the real reason for the R/S. I seriously doubt the O/S will remain at 12 - 13 million, there will be dilution, IMO.
If you got in at .03 and watched this thing go down without bailing with a small-medium loss, you deserve to lose money and learn a valuable lesson about minimizing losses. Buying at .03 and STILL HOLDING after R/S announcement is just plain stupid.
Machines that extract oil from coal? Where did you get that, scam patrol?
alexandria: Maybe this can help answer the speculation that the proposed acquisition of the three electonics companies meant Virtra was leaving the simulation business. Apparently they are trying to do something to help generate more sales.
ceres: When was the last time you spoke to Michael Kitchen?
Barnabus: Yes, they brought the 3-screen version. Saw the demo ... very nice indeed.
They were also handing out CDs of Americas Army PC game for free.
gemerling: Don't you know?
According to bunny, VTSI stock has no resistance points. LOL!!!
PaulP: and what piece of I-FACT was on display at I/ITSEC? The piece that the pilots use.
You can quibble over semantics all you want, FATS did not have their gear that competes with Virtra at the show, they just showed 'infomercials' of it on TV screens.
PaulP: What does this say?
"For more advanced close air support training the Pilot-in-the-loop mode allows an individual to pilot the virtual aircraft acting as fixed or rotary wing aircraft"
Piloting a "virtual aircraft" isn't flight simulation? Right.... What they had there sure looked like something for 'in-flight' training. It did not look like the picture on the website where multiple people could easily stand in front of it, it was much smaller than that. Maybe had you seen the device you would be able to make a more intelligent observation.
Aren't you the guy that commented "the Air Force flies airplanes" in response to someone mentioning Virtra had sold a couple of units to the Air Force? Here's a tidbit of info for you, Paul: the Air Force provides combat training to their pilots. Or aren't you aware of this?
Here's a FATS PR about what they brought to the show:
http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/051123/20051123005494.html?.v=1
"During I/ITSEC, conference attendees may conduct observed fires and forward air control using I-FACT in the largest portable dome yet demonstrated by FATS. Attendees will also access hands-on presentations of FATS Desktop Lanes Marksmanship training, FATS research and development initiatives preview, customer support and training programs along with live access to the new FATS corporate website.
So my thought that the equipment in the enclosed area was a flight simulator looks to be accurate, it was the I-FACT.
"Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain"!
Barnabus: FATS had no 40' foot dome towering 20' high at I/ITSEC show. I would say Virtras tent was about 20' tall, FATS had nothing of the sort. They had one enclosed area which I walked into for about a minute and there was a console you sat behind and viewed something that was the shape of half a rubber ball (picture a rubber ball cut in half and you're looking at the inside of one half). It stood about 4' - 5' high and was probably about 10' wide at most. No one else was in there so I didn't see exactly what it was, it didn't look like a small arms trainer to me, it looked more like some kind of flight simulator. It definately wasn't anywhere close to 360 degrees either. I doubt it was even 180.
Back from I/ITSEC show...
Met Bob Ferris and Mike Kitchen. Got a look at the 4G-300 which was set up in a huge, 6-sided inflatable black tent with an igloo-style entrance. They had four signs on the outside front of the tent, one which showed all their different systems, one showed the Threat-Fire belt, one showed weapon conversion kits and the other was just the 4G series. I got to feel the Threat-Fire belt on a low setting, stung like h e l l, they said the higher settings will make you drop to the floor; I've got no doubt about it! Lots of people going in and checking out the system and weapons, lots of people trying the Threat-Fire belt and contorting in strange ways when zapped. Visitors were very impressed with the system from what I saw, heard the word "awesome" many times. Now if they can just sell them!
Saw some competitors products, none were as good or realistic as Virtra, IMO.
FATS didn't have their military small arms trainer setup, they had one of their other products in the central enclosed area. They had small flat-screen displays around the outer portions of their space that showed the rest of their products. Lots of FATS employees wandering around, I didn't look too long because I didn't want to talk to any of them and there wasn't many people there. Not a whole lot of people in their space the few times I went by.
LaserShot had lots of people in their area, they had one of the larger displays including their fully setup convoy trainer, the demo of that was very nice. As for their firearms, they had a single screen setup (two, actually, that were showing different scenarios). They kept people back a distance as to not cast shadows on the display as it was not rear screen (Virtra was only rear screen that I saw). The rifles were tethered, handguns were not. They said you could use the rifle untethered but didn't have the conversion kit setup to do it.
AIS had a firing range type setup, didn't see many people talking to them the few times I went by.
Cubic had a 3-screen setup behind black curtains in their main area. Projectors were ceiling mounted and the shadows on the screen sucked from my point of view. The weapons were all tethered in a central area underneath the projectors so you couldn't really move around too well. Did I mention the shadows - oh yeah, they sucked.....
L3 and Lockheed were more focused on flight type trainers, they had similar setup to FATS where their other products were being shown on flat panel displays around the outer ares of their space.
The FATS, LaserShot, L3 and Lockheed setups were larger more "flashy" than what Virtra had. As far as people actually taking time to look at the offerings, I'd say LaserShot had the most. Virtra had just the one tent with nothing major outside, but there was always people inside checking out the simulator/weapons and people waiting outside to get in (and trying the Threat-Fire belt). Bob and Mike were pretty busy.
sugar: You forgot to "warn" us about the 50%+ rise in PPS. Bankruptcy and PPS of 0 is what you said. Nice call!! LOL!!!

domen: I'm going Wednesday. If there's anything specific you want me to look at, let me know.
grizzy: Doubt that's the case HERE, but one never knows. I think they are doing R/S because they are out of shares and don't have the option to sell shares to raise capital.
I traded a stock called IDNW (now GLBT) a couple of years ago. They announced a R/S when they were also doing a reverse merger with another company. The stock tanked to under a penny (I think low was .005 in August '03) with about 500 - 600 million O/S and 2 billion A/S. Well, a few months went by with the stock trading at .02 or below, then they announce canceling the R/S. The stock was at .20 a month later.
I don't think what happened with IDNW will happen here. Your scenario of pulling the head-fake to buy back shares on the cheap sounds like a nifty idea but there's no "insider" SEC filings that show them buying; plus the SEC might not like their approach to getting cheap shares, might lead to some jail time. LOL!!
PaulP: I have not refuted any of your so-called "facts" regarding VTSI. In fact, the last person I would ask for facts on this company is YOU since your agenda is as clear as Saran Wrap. You are not my messenger boy. LOL!
I take my facts from the SEC Filings and take the PRs with a grain of salt, just like I do with every OTCBB and Pink Sheet stock I trade. Every penny-stock CEO is going to issue PRs and paint the best picture possible for his/her company, this is nothing new. I've never seen an OTCBB or Pink Sheet company that performed as well as what the CEO said it would. That doesn't mean I can't make money on such companies. I do not buy and hold and watch it rise/drop, I sell some on pops, buy more on dips with a goal of getting my average PPS/share to zero. It's been difficult the past few months, but I did quite well when the range was mid .20s to .40. I have not achieved my goal yet, but am very close, then it's a risk-free stock for me.
Your self-delusion as to the true reason why you are here is hilarious. There are bashers on other boards that speak, or should I say lie, exactly like you. These bashers also write: "people who can't refute facts ... attack the messenger". Every day you show just how much you fit the basher profile, this post is yet one more example of it.
PaulPs classic basher "speak".
Paul wrote: You can learn basic concepts that you can apply elsewhere. That's my purpose in spending time here.
One common thread amongst bashers is they are pathological liars. Paul's statement is so preposterous it's downright hilarious. And the sad thing is, Paul actually believes this! LOL!
Paul likes to tell you he is "learning basic concepts" by spending time here, yet when you read his posts, he speaks like he already knows it all and knows the real meaning behind everything written. What's to learn if you already know it all? And why is everyhing he knows a negative spin on things? The answer is clear..
PaulP: I'm beginning to wonder if you actually believe the reason you are here is not financially related. LOL!!!
ROTFLMAO PaulP, no surprise you laugh at CBs absurdity, fools enjoy each other's company.
That is THE LAMEST justification for naked shorting I have ever seen. You're starting to sound like Kelly - you know, the guy you keep slamming for his justifications - you are no better with your BS. Like eliminating naked shorting is going to eliminate the risk of owning stocks. Have you not heard of the market crash in 1929? They put a lot of rules in after that and there's still plenty of risk in the market as the following 70+ years have shown; naked shorting was nowhere near as serious during most of that time as it is today. Since it's obvious you short stocks, I understand why you would like that scenario! LOL!!
If someone like Cornell wants to short a company, there are LEGAL means to do it. Doing it illegaly is a crock of s h i t and blatantly unfair to the millions of investors that follow the rules. There's plenty of risk in the market without illegal naked shorting, to even suggest getting rid of it would begin to make stocks like treasuries is EXTREMELY laughable, at best!
gemmerling: How do we get passes to the show at the end of this month?
Smithsad: Paul said "the easier it is to raise cash". Kelly wasn't raising cash when he made that deal to debt holders.
PaulP: How many start-ups on the OTCBB/Pinks are making money? Many are just coming out of R&D and have zero revenue, others are just starting to sell and can't cover expenses (i.e they lose money). Why do you think these companies sell stock? Dilution can work if it's done in moderation with growing sales/profits. PPS certainly makes a difference because it effects what type of financing a company can obtain.
Want more proof that PaulP is a basher? Denying naked shorting ruins companies. There was a story on Dateline about it, they used EagleTech as an example company showing a suddenly tremendous growth in volume which sent the PPS down, millions more shares being traded daily than were in the float; pretty hard to deny that naked shorting didn't crush them. They were a start-up in the telecom industry, plenty of bigger fish with motivation to see them fail.
Paul just wrote one of the most hilarious pieces of B.S. I have read on any board:
"You can even make a case that the lower the valuation, the easier it is to raise cash because new investors will get a larger percentage of the equity
Yes, Paul, CEO's want share prices to go lower and lower so that when people buy they feel they are getting a bigger piece of the company. What about the existing shareholders? They just love watching the PPS go down, makes them think "shareholder value" is a primary concern of the CEO! LOL!! PaulP will next tell us that dilution is a GOOD thing, it lowers the PPS so people are able to buy more shares at a lower price. CEO's love flooding the market with new shares and lowering the PPS, gives those NEW investors a warm, fuzzy feeling they are getting a bigger piece of the company at such a low price, it really gives those early shreholders a "warm-fuzzy" watching their stake in the company GO DOWN, along with the PPS. And I suppose signing death-spiral CD deals as a last ditch effort to raise funds when the valuation is low is also a good thing too, ay Paul? ROTFLMAO......
PaulP will repeatedly tell you he has no position in this stock and no interest one way or the other, following Virtra is just a "hobby". LOL!! More proof he is a basher as that is what your typical bashers want you to believe. Look at the ID 'HPOBET' on Raging Bull. This person has posted over <b40,000 times, bashing dozens of companies, yet allegedly never executed a stock transaction on any of them. Sings the same exact tunes as PaulP.
Bunny, like I said, you are as dumb as they come. ROTFLMAO!!
That's right, Bunny, we lost support TODAY, not last Friday as you claimed.
Why don't you post when we break resistance?
Bunny, look at a chart. Low for the day was .15, so how exactly has support been broken if no trades went through below .15?!?!? ROTFLMAO ... They don't come any dumber than you, that's for sure.
http://stockcharts.com/def/servlet/SC.web?c=VTSI,uu[h,a]daclyiay[pd10,2][vc60][iUp21,3,3!Lah12,26,9]...
Sanmina up nicely.
Good earnings report, analyst upgrades ... all good. Now sell some F'in simulators!! LOL!!
Trash has been taken out: magoo, LG and billcoln all on ignore. Place smells much better already. LOL!!
