Has it been mentioned by anyone here that the ENGEL machine costs around $500k.
If everything you said happens why on earth would you want to get out at .40?
I completely agree that Liquidmetal sheets are a few years out at the least. In hoping we will at least get an update on their work with NASA at the shareholders meeting, but I won't hold my breath waiting.
Also, I'm curious as to why you say the ENGEL machine will be vaporware?

I'm sure hoping it's managements plan to pull this off. I definitely believe it can be done, it's just a matter of if they're truly in this for the long term and to build Liquidmetal.
Thank you.
Thank you so much for your response! I really appreciate your input as I'm fairly new to trading.
Have a great rest of the day!
Regards,
T
Thanks! I hope you get over this soon too!
I beg to differ. All this press release does is create awareness for Liquidmetal. Any savvy investor is going to look past the negative psychology of a press release like this and due their own due diligence and if they're well connected make a few phone calls.
Don't you think a company like Apple thought all of this through before investing in Liquidmetal? I sure do!
Sorry, I couldn't reply to your message privately.
Thank you! It's greatly appreciated! Our son is doing incredibly well now. We're very blessed!
I hope to learn something from you and the others on the board and I hope I can provide something positive as well.
If I may ask? I'm vested in LQMT and I'm fairly bullish on the stock as I believe we're at a tipping point for the company. Do you have any knowledge of Liquidmetal or insight?
Make it a great week!
Florida is nice!
Thanks, I have been resting it's driving me crazy though. I hope you feel better yourself.
Gorgol, I like your input and couldn't agree more. I believe we are sitting at the tipping point right now myself. Things can either go very well for Liquidmetal or bad.
Are you going to be at the shareholders meeting?
I wish you would have sent out the flu shot warning about a week sooner :) yuck!
SPORTYNORTY I want to start by saying I greatly appreciate your way of thinking. One of my favorite quotes by Einstein is strive not to be a man of success, but rather a man of value.
I also appreciate the comment that you made that we all have different levels of experience. I have spent just a few months reading at least 10 hours a day to trying very hard to educate myself because of my personal situation.
In short I have a 3 year old son who was born with a half of a heart (HLHS) and needs both of his parents a lot. In turn I have to turn to trading to try to increase our income to pay for the extra costs associated. I normally don't share this especially on boards like this, but I think your comment really needs to be made clear to people out there that everyone has a different level of experience and we should try to help each other not put each other down and discourage them.
It's late and I hope I'm making sense, but thank you very much and I will be following your board closely.
Best regards,
T
I don't want to sound like Mr. Negative, but there are two things that I see a red flags right out the gate, but I may be wrong. I only looked at the SEC flings briefly. 1) I don't like the 5% toxic debt they took on in June 2014 with Asher Enterprises, which is a well know for financing toxic debt. I'm not saying it will, but this kind of debt can create major dilution.
Why do you ask about STEV? What is your position or thoughts about the company
I like it.
Will do!
If you're truly interested in this stock I would suggest going to the company website and learning about the product and how truly unique it is. The technology has been being developed and perfected since the 80s and is just now being commercialized. I personally believe in the product. Another thing I hope will move things along is the new management and Hauck (VP of Sales) he has a strong track record.
I don't know where you're seeing .0001, but I believe the stock is sitting just above support right now of .18. There has never been a reverse split. I'm personally in this for the long term. The company is local to me and I will be attending their shareholder meeting on October 16th at which time they will be demonstrating the ENGEL machine for the very first time and hopefully announcing contact(s).
Some of the things you might want to look at are as follow:
1) They have partnered with some major players. ENGEL, Materion, NASA and Apple
2) Apple bought exclusive rights to "consumer electronics" to all of Liquidmetal patents in August of 2010 for 20 million and renewed their agreement for another year. Apple is also committed to paying for all new joint patents, attorney fees and research, which is being held in Crucible Intellectual LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Liquidmetal. NOTE: Liquidmetal will not get any royalties from Apple. What I do see as another major benefit to Liquidmetal besides all the funding and time Apple is putting into the Liquidmetal technology is the publicity when they (Apple) finally releases a product made of Liquidmetal.
The last drop in PPS was because there were a lot of people speculating that the iPhone 6 chassis would be made of Liquidmetal including me and it was not. I do believe Apple will be using Liquidmetal, but I don't want to guess or speculate on when.
I think this thing week move on any positive news on October 14th and/or 16th. Either way I'm in for the long term. I hope that helps a little bit. I could go on forever as I've spent many nights researching Liquidmetal.
In closing, if you go on the LQMT board on Investors Hub I probably wouldn't listen much to Watts - he was an original IPO investor and lost a lot of money, but since then a lot has taken place and management has changed.
I hope this helps.
Have you looked at LQMT? Let me know your thoughts if you do.
I hate scum bags like this.
I think we both were my friend.
I had owned stock in this thing prior to the reverse split and I just had to take my losses and dump it. I'm usually a pretty good judge of character and after I talked to the CEO/attorney I got the feeling that the company was shady. I could be wrong, but I doubt it. Best of luck to you all!
Would you mind elaborating on that statement please? I'm fairly new to GTAT and I'm new to this board as I'm looking for insight on whether to buy GTAT and the timing.
Thank you!
I never suggested asking Chung anything if that's what you thought I was alluding to. I would like to know your opinion to my question? Or whoever you think is best fit to answer my questing. "Why do you think Tony Chung is the only executive that has survived and not been voted out by the board"? I would greatly appreciate anyone's insight.
Let me ask you. What's your opinion as to why all the management has been pushed out, but Tony Chung CFO has survived for 12 years?
I talked to investor relations at LQMT and I would say you're right.
I think I kind of eluded to that. Have a great night and good luck to you!
I know what you're saying and I'm sure the press release frustrated you as much as it did me. I researched the company the minute it came out and they're currently only doing 500k - 1MIL in sales.
All I can say is Hauck is working on building relationships with other companies "to generate sales to cover Liquidmetal's overhead". Remember too Liquidmetal hasn't given anything away here and companies like M-Power Sales still have to prove to Liquidmetal that they can perform. I have to give them the benefit of the doubt at this point because you never know they may have just the right contact for just the right part or they may not. But either way its no harm done.
I believe it's Liquidmetal's goal to pickup smaller contacts now and to capture the larger contacts as they progress and/or over the mid-term to long term.
I would really wait until after the MSR Open House on 14th and the shareholders meeting on the 16th to stress out as I believe there is going to be positive news shared and a lot of questions will be answered at that time.
In closing, I hate to speculate on the Liquidmetal, Apple MTA, but who knows Apple may have wanted the negative press that they just got so that they can come out with an iPhone 7 in a year instead of a new product in two years to drive revenue. Sometimes negative press is positive press. You may say I'm crazy, but I believe the press the apples getting was propaganda that was promoted by Apple.
I couldn't agree more with you more this is just a bunch of hype. Who knows it may even be some kind of propaganda. I'm sure Apple realized that the phone would bend before they ran production. Sometimes bad press is good press. Look at Miley Cyrus lol...
I'm also long on Liquidmetal and you bet I will be at the open house to see how much traffic they have on October 14th and I will be at the shareholders meeting. If I get the slightest negative feeling I'm gone. I could have 3x the money I have in Liquidmetal over the past couple weeks, but for now I'm convinced they will get things going.
I really hope that I'm right that they are working with Applied Medical. This would be the best move they've made yet. I believe way better than Apple, especially since there won't be any revenue there. If they are able to produce medical devices for Applied Medical that I believe would be an incredible revenue stream.
We shall see...
I think it's very important that Liquidmetal develops contacts in the UK. I would explain, but what do I know. Maybe Apple will make a phone chassis for the iPhone 12.

Well you be attending the shareholders meeting?
I really don't see what there is here to be all giddy about. We all need to get off the Apple bandwagon for now.
Has anyone called investor relations and just asked them outright what this means for Liquidmetal and it's shareholders?
I couldn't agree with you more! Finally somebody with some common sense in here. I really believe that it's very likely that Liquidmetal is working with Applied Medical as we speak. Applied Medical is the largest employer in Rancho Santa Margarita and has three campuses in RSM and one of them is directly across the street from Liquidmetal. You could throw a rock through their window. I know that's purely speculative, but I'm going to start looking at Applied Medical's patents and see if I can find something that corresponds with Liquidmetal. If you want let me know and I can give you my Facebook page or you can look for it CIMA Equities LLC. I posted a few pictures on my page of Applied Mdical and Liquidmetal.
If you don't mind me asking where are you from?
I think your all crazy. I would be happy to buy more if the PPS comes down even more. This one article doesn't mean anything. Come on Yale couldn't even take the time to use spell check. Now I know who to and not to listen to after following this board.
Just wait and see when Liquidmetal acquires a contract with Applied Medical.
I couldn't agree with you more. I wish I was able to buy more shares in the company. I personally am obsessed with the technology. I really hope that I'm right that they're working with Applied Medical. They are a highly successful company, located across the street from Liquidmetal.
Can you explain what you mean by it's not the chassis with Apple please.
Have those names come up on reference to Liquidmetal? If so, would you mind sharing where please.
Your thoughts please.
I'm personally done speculating on when Apple is going to make an iPhone chassis out of Liquidmetal. I believe it will happen when the process is perfected for mass production.
Keep in mind that Liquidmetal management has made it clear that 1) they need to speed up their mold production times 2) they are working to make their molds last longer 3) they need to increase their ability for mass production 4) they need to cut their production costs.
I do have some thoughts and a question that are purely speculative.
I live just a few miles from Liquidmetal. I know that Liquidmetal's headquarters use to be in Lake Forest and Swatch headquarters is located in Lake Forest. Liquidmetal moved their headquarters to Rancho Santa Margarita, which is directly across the street from Applied Medical.
Applied Medical is a privately owned company, but they are huge! I can post photos I took if you all would like.
Applied Medical has very large facilities located in RSM. One is directly across the street from Liquidmetal and the other two are within walking distance.
Do you think it's possible that Liquidmetal intentionally moved across from Applied Medial because they just may be working together?
Note: on Liquidmetal's 2nd quarter earnings call Tom Steipp did focus a lot of attention on medical devices.
I would greatly appreciate your thoughts.

I also noticed there are some spelling errors in the article. Copy the article and put it into Word. I will be doing some more research. I also email investor relations at LQMT.
