With BAA do you think this will retrace to .19, or is it time to load now? Just curious as I have an order in the .19's that I'll move to a market order if I need to. I never like to chase...but if .20's the best I can get, then .20 it is.
MNGA - I too think this is a good entry with a lot of upside, and I think very little downside. To AF's point, I don't believe they are diluting. The volume just isn't there that would scream dilution, so I'd say know. If they are, they are disguising it very well. I feel that MNGA just needs that one significant PR. They have many irons in the fire, so it's tough saying exactly what that PR would entail, but I'm content holding at this point.
Also - An update on my emails to IR. Ermanno wrote me back, but I think he misunderstood what I was trying to do. He didn't answer who contacted who in regards to the Indiana Hog Farm Operation, but I proposed that MagneGas reaches out to the Iowa DNR as the gentlemen I talked to from there seemed very interested to work with them on a project if MagneGas contacted them. Based off Ermanno's email, I'd say that he thinks I want to buy one of these sterilization systems. At least I think that's a safe assumption since he said one of the sales guys will be contacting me and that he looks forward to meeting me in the near future. LOL
I've still been waiting for your call to back test that .19 range...so I'm still holding my .52 average at this point. At .19 I might just use that triple-down move that you pulled off the last time it hit :)
MNGA - Agreed. And yesterdays and todays movement has been on low volume. Just need to get some momentum on our side.
MNGA - Newsguy1. Just wanted to give you an update on what I heard back from the Iowa State Agriculture and DNR emails I sent on MNGA's latest PR. Unfortunately, the Secretary of Agriculture wrote back "Thanks for the information".
The DNR contact however wrote a somewhat promising note, which I have since emailed directly to MNGA. The DNR's response I've pasted below.
JJ,
Thank you for the link. I was not aware of this technology. Such uses would certainly be welcome in Iowa – just as we welcome anaerobic digestion of manure for energy production.
The state supports such initiatives, but to my knowledge does not promote it. If anyone came to the state and wanted to work with a producer on such a project we would be glad to work with them.
Gene
So basically I asked Philip and Ermanno who contacted who for the Indiana farm operation demo and sale, and if they would try reaching out to the state of Iowa in an effort to get something similar set up here.
$MNGA - Keep on a running.
MNGA - That 8x34 looks very nice. I've been in this for the long haul, so I seldom look at the 8x34 but another day with good volume can get this one moving right through the $1.30's.
Yeah, I thought with MNGA the last I saw was that they had provided the Navy with all of the info that was requested, and that they were one of the last two suppliers remaining. But you're right, whether it's Navy news or something else, this one should move.
MNGA - If it is really moving based off of that SCOK news, I'm wondering if I need to adjust the sell order I put in every morning. That's just to burn with the coal plants, and doesn't even take into the consideration the potential news you just mentioned with the Navy contract or Hog farm sales.
Thanks! And have a great weekend.
That is awesome. I was out today, but just checked my email. I haven't received a response yet, although it has only been a little over 24 hours since I sent my emails. Have a nice weekend!
Just curious going into the weekend on if you are still into just the metals, or if you have other plays on hand. The reason I ask is that I'm probably going to throw some more money into my brokerage account and if I do so, I'll be sitting about 50-55% cash including what I have free now.
I currently only have two plays (BAA and MNGA). I've been patiently waiting for that .18-.19 back-test on BAA, so I still haven't added and continue to hold my .52 average.
MNGA, I'm down a bit on this trade, but overall (with previous trades) I'm to the good. Unfortunately, it looks like it is going to take big news to make this one move. Or the charts are going to have to set up right again for another move on technicals.
Anyway, not sure if I should just sit some cash right now...or play the metals...or maybe I should be chasing something with some momentum. Your AVL posts sure have sparked my interest again (and the other rare earths). Out of curiosity, do you have a target for your AVL, or are you going to play the swings?
MNGA - Hey Newsguy1. Just responded to your message on the MNGA board. I contacted both the Iowa State Agriculture Dept, as well as the Iowa Department of Natural Resources and reference todays news from the PR. That was a great idea you had! My state definitely has a lot of hogs, and there have been big pushes in recent years for renewable energy with ethanol, biofuels and wind energy. Hell, I figure why not take all this hog $hit and make it worth something.
MNGA - I may have one-upped you. I can't say enough how good of an idea I think that was. I contacted both the Iowa State Agriculture department, but also our Department of Natural Resources who of course is interested in both renewable energy, and waste reduction/elimination. How great would it be to get some states on board with this?
Yeah. BTW, I appreciate your post on Orion's for notifying your state Ag representative about this. I am in Iowa, so obviously pork is huge here too. I'm going to follow your lead and send this to my representative.
MNGA - Got a nice PR today, but yet no movement in the price. So unfortunate. Guess it's really going to take something big and related to firm sales or contracts to move this thing.
I played AVL too. It was one of the first 5 stocks that I traded when I opened my account. I ended up making 33%, as I bought at .60 and sold at .80. Took me 6+ weeks to make that money, but sure glad I sold when I did as it has only gone down since the day I sold. I have some free funds right now, but I'm patiently waiting to see what BAA does so I can load more shares.
Vlisp - I hope you saw this on END. Looks like it got hit hard after hours.

Good work Ray...I shouldn't have praised MNGA so early...The minute we all got excited about it, it started falling from the HOD. Hopefully we'll see a rebound in power hour.
MNGA - I couldn't agree more. We haven't been getting as much news lately, but maybe that means something big is around the corner. I still can't help to speculate the fact they are awaiting word from the Navy, but then just all the sudden decided to buy a plant and move their headquarters so they can grow. Just speculation, but as an investor it is sure nice to think "what if?"!!!
Yes MNGA - Getting some love today!!!
Yeah, the pps sure seems to hold its own once it gets near $1.15. A couple of weeks ago when we had the double bottom to $1.12, it moved right back up from there. I also believe this company has good things to come. In the interim I'm just holding out for some news, and will need to consider adding to my position if the pps stays in this area for an extended period.
Yeah, the volume was really low all week. Need a catalyst. Have a good weekend yourself! See you Tuesday!
What a disappointing week, and disappointing close today. Holding $1.20 most of the day, only to see a drop to $1.17 in the final minutes. Still patiently holding my $1.49 average, although I'm still up overall from my previous MNGA trades.
Between $MNGA and B A A though, they are both testing my patience. Still awaiting the day of huge news...but also missing the days of early summer when there were 2-3 PR's per week...They weren't necessarily "meaty", but they let me know that they were trying. Now I'm just left in limbo in hopes of big news...like a Navy contract.
MNGA - Just giving a shout out to the board to keep it alive.
Hopefully this will be the week we start getting some volume back and start our climb upward. I'm not an expert on all the SEC filings, but saw a lot of Form 4's from last week. At first I was excited because I saw "Acquisition" and assumed bought. But after a little DD all I can figure now is that this would be something like an Employee Stock Purchase Plan, or maybe some sort of incentive as part of their total pay/rewards at the Director level.
The chart isn't looking too bad either. A strong day tomorrow should send the MACD crossing and the stock price moving upward. I just hope it has enough momo to get through that resistance in the mid-1.30's.
Do you still have your BAA? I know you dumped 60% yesterday, just didn't know about the rest.
Thanks. I wish I would have bought more and positioned myself better. However, I have confidence this will get me to where I want to go...it will just take a little more time to get there.
I do have to say that your triple down from last week had me chewing on that same thought all through the weekend...I just didn't have the kahunas to pull the trigger.
I like the news. I think we start trading again tomorrow, and I think the days at these lows are behind us. Now if gold would just move in the right damn direction. LOL
Well guys, lets keep our fingers crossed of something big happening for the good. Halted isn't what I like to hear, but there are some really good things that could be in the works.
I would greatly appreciate updates from the conference call today for anyone who can listen in. Unfortunately I'm at work and won't be able to, but I'll be able to periodically check the message board. If the dividends are confirmed, all I can say is WOW...that would be an amazing gift!
Thanks! I appreciate your opinion. I would honestly like to add more BAA, but again, don't have enough clear funds to do much damage. The one thing I would really like to see from BAA is what they plan to do to fix Namoya (and we kind of got a bit of that in the Q2 Fins), when that is expected to be complete, what it will cost and how they plan to pay for it.
Aside from that, I just want to see the price of gold rise, and then they can address shareholders on their longer term debt at a later date for all I care.
Yeah, I'm still holding...It's one of those lesson learned type things for me to realize that I should have been in and out sooner to then get back in. But also my gambling mentality doesn't help me here. While I'd hate to lose my gains I've made since trading, I could essentially lose everything I have in BAA and still be in the position I was when I opened my account in January (minus ~$500). So I'm holding for the long haul. I've been riding this long, but the world is too screwed up to keep gold down for long.
Awesome...I should have freed up some funds to triple down with you! Still waiting for a big payday on this one.
Did you get your fill for your triple down?
BAA released their Q2 Financials

BAA Q2 Financials - Don't look to bad to me. I guess I was afraid it might be worse.

Q2 Financials are here
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/banro-announces-q2-2014-financial-002505316.html
Regarding the 10Q, I have to say that I was a bit concerned. I almost sold, but chose not to. I guess maybe they can't talk much about settlements, but something about how the 10Q was written had me concerned. I don't like them making comments such as this:
"Our existing liquidity is not sufficient to fund our operations, anticipated capital expenditures, working capital and other financing requirements for the foreseeable future."
MNGA - I hope it's happy with the double bottom at $1.12 and is on its way back up for good now.
